Work Text:
Despite anyone’s best intentions, Leia was always going to be her father’s daughter. She was born with the stars in her blood and fire in her veins.
They dressed her like a princess and taught her how to act, but they could never quite touch that spirit inside her.
The girl was a Skywalker all the way through. She was always going to lead an army and fight a war. She was always going to fight for the galaxy she wanted to see. And she was always going to fly.
Leia may have been a politician like her mother, but she was always going to be her father’s daughter.
