Chapter Text
On a deserted and dead planet a tear in the fabric of reality appears with a person holding a staff floating out saying. “This world has the seeds to support life.” The person pulled out five gems in five different colors. One Scarlet Emerald, White Moonstone, Yellow Tourmaline, Black Pearl and a Blue Sapphire.
They covered the gems with the staff in their hands speaking with power in their voice. “Nurture, fuel and protect life. Let your body grow and fuse with life on the planet.” The Staff is lifted away from the gems revealing all but one of the gems glowed, the Sapphire. The person threw the gems into the air.
The Emerald flew far and found a hurt wolf pup so it fused with it to heal the damage done to them. The Moonstone fell into the ocean where a dolphin calf was swimming and fused with it. The Tourmaline went into a volcano and found an old Dragon reaching the end of its life so it went into it as a way to extend its life by putting it to sleep.
The Pearl slammed into a forest where it found a female Panther who protected a few litters of pups from some bears. The Panther was heavily hurt so the Pearl rushed to fuse with the Panther boosting its strength so it was able to win the fight as the other mother Panthers returned. The Panther fell asleep to properly fuse with the Pearl.
The Sapphire looked around and found no animal to fuse with so it returned to the person who threw the gems in the first place. “So only four will protect this world.” The person turned around and entered the tear of the fabric of reality before it closed up. The four animals started glowing and sinking into the ground.
Just after the person left a beam of light hit the planet causing a planet wide extinction except for the four animals fused with the gems. Once the light dies down a pair of glowing dragons were revealed. The dark purple one walked away killing the grass under their feet. “So brother is this place perfect for our experiment?”
The golden yellow dragon looked around and floated closer to the dark purple one. “Seems so. Now let's look around the planet.” They went their separate ways and looked around for anyone already living not knowing their entrance had vaporized them all. They both found empty craters and wide open fields void of anything else then grass and trees.
The golden one looked around and found a broken tree so he ripped it out of the ground where it was and placed it in the middle of the crater. He looked around once more and found a river close by so he rushed over and dug a path for the river to divert into the crater. Once the crater was filled he undid the damage.
The golden dragon ripped open his skin a tiny bit and dipped a drop of his blood into the crater. Once the blood hit the water the tree glowed and had the damage undone as it grew strong and healthy again. The golden Dragon laid down and started to spend its energy to create its own versions of the animals that were already from the planet.
The dark purple dragon found a nice crater devoid of any life except for a tree. The dragon split open his skin and dropped in a few drops of his blood turning the water that fed the tree black and poisonous. The tree quickly died as the tainted water flowed into it. The dark purple dragon laid its head down and decided to nap the week away.
Once the dark purple dragon woke up he found the world outside his crate filled with the animals from his brother. He was pissed as they both agreed to wait a month before planning how they would fill the experiment. “So my dear brother is impatient. Fine then let's see how he likes these!”
The Dragon roars splashing the water from the crater over the edge forming the first Grimm. The Grimm just ran on instinct and attacked anything that moved around the crater. The grimm massacred everything for a few days before the Golden Dragon flew over to the Dark Dragon’s crater. “Why did you unleash beings of pure destruction?” The Golden Dragon angrily asks his brother.
The Dark purple Dragon somehow gave a deadpan look without changing his smile. “Maybe because you wouldn’t wait the proper month before creating anything for our experiment.” The Golden Dragon seemed to be embarrassed to be called out for what he did. The Dark Dragon just smirked as he laid back down so the Golden Dragon backed off.
For a few weeks the Golden Dragon just created stronger animals hoping they would last. A few did but most were still wiped out. The Golden Dragon was about to smile when he noticed a second wave of Grimm came around and took down the remains of the new animals. Neither one noticed the four gem animals growing stronger.
They went back and forth with their creations destroying each other for years. On the eve for the ten year mark the Dark Dragon walked into the crater where the Golden Dragon rested. “Brother, it's been almost ten years. Let's put this behind us and combine our powers to create our masterpiece like we came here originally to do.”
The Golden Dragon thought about it for a few seconds before transforming into a more human-like form with moose antlers on his head. The Dark Dragon followed his brother’s example and turned himself into a human shape with curved ram horns. They both placed their hands together and created some seeds that flew out.
The seeds hit both grimm and animals turning them into beings more in line with the Dragons as they were at the moment. They both seemed to smile as the few in the crater turned to look at them. The golden one spoke up. “Hello humans we are the brother gods and we created you and bestowed upon you some gifts.”
For many generations the gods enjoyed how their creations prospered and tamed the planet while the Grimm were forced back and almost wiped out. One day an army rose up and tried to battle the Gods. The Dark god in his Dragonic form condenses their attacks before attacking, wiping out all life except for Grimm and one woman all over the planet.
The attack almost managed to wake up the gem animals only from them to still sleep and grow stronger and bigger. The gods left the planet to die by destroying the moon. The woman spent countless years searching for ways to die while practicing her magic on the only things around. After countless years she fused with the Grimm water.
After the woman almost destroyed the country she created by using the Grimm. The Gem animals woke up and decimated her army, protecting both strains of human life. The woman slunk away to the land controlled by Grimm as the humans found another way to fight off the grimm so the Gem animals sank back into sleep.
A week after the gem animals fell back to sleep another tear in the fabric of reality formed. The same person floated out of the tear and looked around. “You four are trying your best but those fools interfered. Now find warriors to protect the world and to ensure they will have the means.”
The person pulled out a seed and tossed it. “Now to ensure the seed will be used properly.” The person held out his staff and pointed it at the seed. A beam of light hit the seed and entered it as more people just like the first but with different colored capes landed on the planet.
“Master Silver, what are you doing?” One of the people asked before Master Silver lifted a finger and placed it in front of his mouth. The rest waited as Silver finished infusing some energy into the seed. As soon as Silver was done the same person spoke. “Now that you're done, tell us what you are doing.”
Master Silver nodded their head before speaking. “I noticed that this planet had thriving life so I sent out some gems to find warriors to protect it.” The other people looked around. “After I left a pair of fools with more power than they needed found this planet and killed all animal life except for the four animals that fused with the gems.”
“They stayed on this planet and made life that rose up to attack them so they killed the planet’s life once more except for a woman they cursed with infinite life and beings made to kill life.” The other masters grasped at beings doing forbidden magic. “They left once more so I am giving the next set of life a gift against those fools and the woman.”
The other masters nodded their heads before one spoke. “We must leave till the time those beasts of yours make a team to do that job.” Silver nodded their head before they all rose up while blasting the seed with their power before floating into the tear of space. Silver tossed the seed as he repaired the tear in the fabric of reality.
