Notes:

Day 15!

Work Text:

I walk into my small apartment. I kick the letters and papers to the side. I see a printed envelope. I bend down and pick it up. I see it came from Wilbur, one of my friends I hadn’t seen in a while. I turned it around and opened the note.

    Toms,

        I haven’t heard from you for a while. We’re all worried. You

    haven’t written back. Please write back.

    Miss you,

    Wilbur’

I tear up, missing my friends. I pick up the other letters. Tubbo, Ranboo, Dream, Niki, Phil, SapNap, George, and more of my friends, including more from Wilbur. I slid down the wall, crying. I have gotten super depressed from, I don’t know what. I struggled with work and keeping what I had. The scars littered my arms proved it. I looked at the other letters. All asking if I was okay or if I needed help. I needed a lot of help. I cried for hours on end. I grabbed a knife and slit it on my leg. Blood oozed out of the cuts, other scars on my leg were thick and few. I only cut my legs when needed. My friends were worried about me, I made them worried.

After a while, I got a sheet of lined paper and started writing a letter to Ranboo.

    ‘Ranboo,

I’m sorry for leaving. I’m a horrible friend, person. I let everyone down. I tried to keep everything I own. I grew depressed. I need help. Please get me some help before I injure myself more.

Help - Tommy’

I close it up and send it to Ranboo before I don’t.

I re-read the letter Tommy sent me. I packed a bag before heading over to Tommy’s. The Uber ride took so long, I kept tapping my foot the entire time.

I finally arrived. I paid and left. I headed through the door.

“Hello, can I help you with anything?” The girl behind the front desk asked.

“UMm, ya, where does Tommy stay?” I ask.

“3rd floor, 7th door,” She said.

I nodded in thanks and headed to the elevator. I pushed the 3 button. I didn’t hesitate when the door opened. I looked for the 7th door. When I did, I knocked rapidly on the door. The door opens. Tommy looked so tired.

“Ranboo?” Tommy asked, confused, “What are you doing here?”

“To help you,” I say.

Tommy hugged me. I held him close as he cried. I brought Tommy back into his place. Tommy would not let go, being scared I would disappear the second he let me go.

"It's okay Tommy," I whisper into his ear (/p).

I rocked him from side to side. I whispered different things to the younger. Tommy leans into my chest (still /p). I hold him close.

I watched over Tommy for multiple days. Made sure he didn't harm himself in any way. I made him eat at least a little for breakfast, lunch, and dinner. Tommy didn't get much better, still struggling to keep his apartment. Though I got him to message all our friends. I came up with an idea.

I walked over to Tommy. He noticed me and looked up at me.

"Hey Tommy, I have a question," I say.

"Yea," Tommy replied.

"Do you wanna live in my house? I have an extra bedroom you can have," I ask.

"Uhh," Tommy mutters.

"I won't mind," I smile.

"Sure," Tommy replied, unsure.

Wilbur drives Tommy and I home. Tommy's stuff in the back. I let him sit upfront. Wilbur made small talk with us. Tommy hesitantly replied but I always replied. When we arrived at mine and Tommy's place, Wilbur helped us get stuff set up in Tommy's new room.

After a week of Tommy living here, I was able to get him a little better. Able to eat more than he could a month ago. I bought him anything he needed. My cat, Bee, absolutely loves Tommy. I found several times this week where when Tommy was asleep, Bee would sleep with Tommy. Once it scared me, his all black fur in the middle of Tommy's chest, in the dark. I thought he was bleeding.

I was able to get Tommy out of our house often, for walks and we sometimes headed to the park.

~~~
After a month, Tommy didn’t cut himself the entire time. I got him a therapist. Tommy could eat one full meal everyday. We met up with our friends from time to time.
But today, I was bringing Tommy to get a kitten. I learned how to drive. The entire car ride, Tommy was super excited. When we got there, I was barely able to park before Tommy jumped out. I soon followed him inside. A lady was showing Tommy where the kittens were. There were many and Tommy looked so happy.
At the end, Tommy picked out a small bengal kitten, who he named Rug. She was adorable and said to be amazing with other cats, which was good knowing Bee was good with other cats.
~~~

Bee and Rug loved hanging around Tommy. It was hilarious how both would follow him around the house. Tommy would walk around the house, both cats following him. When Tubbo came over, he tried calling the cats over, who went to him for a little bit then went straight back to Tommy. Tubbo stuttered for a while.

~~~
By the third month, Tommy was so much better. I was the one who helped him out. He was happy I helped him.
~~~

I walked down, both cats following me. I looked into the kitchen, seeing Ranboo making breakfast.

“Thanks again for helping me Ran,” I say.

Ranboo jumps and turns around.

“You’re so welcome Tommy,” They smile.

Bee claimbs up my leg to my arm. I helped him get to my shoulder. Ranboo sets down plates. I sat down at the table. We eat and make small talk. Rug kept trying to get our food. We pushed her away from our food. I loved being in a house with Ranboo(/p) and our two cats.
