Chapter Text
"You're a damn idiot."
And your a damn pyscho.
As much as Daniel would've loved to retaliate, he knew he couldn't. Not when he was practically spitting blood. His bruised, broken body lying flat on the cold, hard floor.
Gun puffed yet another cloud of thick, black smoke. Unlike Daniel, he was bruised one, to none. His hair was still slit-backed, looking both clean and formal. He didn't look the least bit exhausted. The only thing Daniel could really point out was that his pants were torn. But other than that, there was really nothing else.
And with that simple thought in mind, Daniel sighed. Ultimately allowing himself to relax onto the cold dirt with no regards for hygiene. They were already fighting in a junkyard, and he's only thinking about hygiene now?
Upon his little moment of peace, Daniel was met with a shadow looming over him. He internally sighed to himself. It's barely even been three minutes, couldn't Gun just let him rest even for a moment?
"Get up." Gun kicked him in the hip, a hand shoved into his pocket as the other tapped the ash off his ciggarate.
For a moment, Daniel thought to ignore him. Maybe if he pretended to faint, then maybe Gun would—
"Keep pretending your unconscious, see where that gets you."
He immediately for up.
Upon standing, he was greeted with a headache. He grunted, his eyesight going blurry for a quick two seconds.
Gun sneered at him, blowing a cloud of smoke at him with no regard for his condition. Daniel cursed him to the Gods.
"We haven't even been training that long, yet you're already so tired." Gun said, staring down at Daniel just as he did the first time he'd come to him in his original body.
Its been four hours. What is he talking about? Daniel couldn't help but express a dumb look following his thoughts.
Gun gives out a visibly displeased face, but does nothing after that. Instead, he turns his back. "Follow me."
And Daniel does. Like the good little protégé he was. Daniel despite his protests against Gun, follows him nonetheless. Even with his tired body, he forces himself with every step they take.
