-Season 1, before the tea incident. -
In the bounty at 2:43 AM-
As Lloyd layed down in his makeshift bed he wondered about something, Jay was watching something called a horror movie earlier. He hasn't watched "horror" movies yet. None really. Darkleys school for bad boys didn't really appreciate movies as they were seen as a waste of time. So he never really got to watch any due to his "mother" dropping him there not knowing she wasn't going to come back. did she even want him? Okay that's enough his mind was going into dangerous territory he will worry about that later. He looked at his half broken alarm clock the ninja somewhat scrapped up out of money. 2:43 in the morning..mabye just maybe the ninja wouldn't notice him going into the living just to. Watch a horror movie..rightt?..probably not. he sighed and sat up, still in his oversized signature hoodie. his ruby red eyes glowing in the darkness. He started walking to his door opening it softly, trying to make as less noise as possible. he new from experience what floor boards are creaky and not. He made his way towards the living room on the bounty, he very slowly made his way onto the couch and grabbed the remote. Now he just needed to turn on the tv and find a "horror movie" he saw this button that switched to this thingy called youtube..and saw something called a search bar. Which to his Suprise was exactly what he thought it was, well of course he is the son of the evil lord garmadon. of course he would know. and search up horror. hopefully spelling it right. he watched as he saw the 1st thingy that popped up. "IT" huh..weird. but it has a balloon in the front of it! and a kid? like him? so it can't be that scary jay was overreacting. He even screamed at the tv earlier because he got scared that was funny to see. he hit click and immediately was met with a ..uh add? and boy was it LOUD he quickly turned the sound down praying that they didn't hear that. which to his liking they didn't. but he got settled in curling in on himself with his knees to his chest and his chin laying on them. watching quietly.
He will admit. It was actually getting pretty scary. screw that he was actually kind of scared the clown thingy bit the kid's arm off! and there was blood ew..he got deeper and deeper into the movie and saw the whole fiasco about "horror" he almost screamed accouple times..embarrsingly so. but he just decided to grab a pillow and hold it to his chest while just watching he didn't figure to pay attention to the time but it was still dark, he didn't know how far he was into the movie. but he just say there for awhile..until..well. the movie shut off suddenly, making it entirely dark, and then he heard a door open but he thought nothing of it..probably just the wind. but atleast the movie suddenly switched back on! he gripped his pillow harder as he looked at it again till he heard a voice behind him.
"Lloyd..? what the hell are you watching at 4:12 in the mor-"
and he immediately screamed. and turned over to see kai. falling off the couch while doing so. after a few moments of silence and a suddenly distraught kai.. lloyd threw the pillow at him.
"GAh- what was that for!?" - kai
"WHY DID YOU SNEAK UP ON ME KAI!" - lloyd exclaimed.
....."lloyd..are you scared?" -Kai.
"..no...im lloyd garmadon. garmadon's don't get scared." - lloyd
"mhm..sure bud. What in the world are you watching though?" Kai said concerningly
kai looked towards the Tv and immediately recognized the movie as IT he gasped and turned towards Lloyd disapprovingly.
"Lloyd! you aren't suppose to watch this for someone your age! especially at dark alone. and I mean a killer eating children clown!? Worst movie to pick as a first!" - kai
lloyd didn't respond but kai saw the trembles he held, even if you look faintly you could see his heartbeat from his throat. poor kid was scared half to death. kai sighed, and went to go pause the movie. once he did he told lloyd to cmere on the couch even after a little bit of arguing he listened. he sat next to kai and looked towards him. kai looked back.
"Lloyd, It's okay to be scared of horror movies. And you don't have to admit you are, but please don't watch them by yourself if your this scared. why you even awake at this time kiddo? you could've woken one of us up if you were scared. or needing some love," kai said softly.
"pft. as if..whatever. but thanks.." lloyd said.
"brat-. Well..you wanna watch something a little more..uh. kid appropriate how about..something funny." kai responded.
"..sure."
and with that kai turned on dog fails on youtube, there is no way the kid could resist something like this, even kai enjoyed watching them. as the hour passed they ended up both falling asleep kai was lying down while lloyd was lying on his chest, it was a heartwarming scene indeed.
But in the morning..they got caught. in this scene embarrassing lloyd completely for showing weakness as the rest of the ninja entered the kitchen and saw lloyd onto of kai's chest they snapped a picture. a moment truly to be witnessed, but after lloyd woke up face red he stormed off into his room and denied anything the red ninja said to the rest, but easily kai made the point that they should make sure lloyd is actually asleep every night from now on and make sure the tv remote is somewhere tall.
But the point was once forgotten...lloyd in his room was actually smiling about having some affection from kai. but that doesn't mean he won't prank kai! that part isn't over. and I don't think it ever will be.
