Work Text:
Izuku isn’t necessarily thinking about the possible ramifications of sending his exact location to Kacchan and Todoroki with absolutely no context when he does it.
He’s just excited, is all. Thus far, his plan has been executed without a hitch. No snags, no stressful weeping, just perfectly thought out and then enacted steps. Best thing in the world, when an Izuku-plan comes together.
The tiny field in the park about twenty minutes off campus is the perfect place for a picnic. Izuku scoped it out well in advance. Not too busy, so they’ll have some privacy if what he’s planning goes wrong. Nice scenery. A big tree to place the picnic blanket underneath.
It’s nice. Izuku likes it a lot.
But he’s not sure how well this whole thing is about to go over when Kacchan stomps up to the picnic blanket, scowling something fierce and says, “We thought you were dead.”
His frown deepens as Todoroki meanders up behind him, standing to the right of his shoulder, just a touch too close like he sometimes does with the both of them. Hovering but not overbearing, like having a li'l Todoroki shadow.
“Or you were kidnapped or some shit,” Kacchan continues, squinting down at where Izuku is kneeling in between two picnic baskets. Without any fanfare, he drops to the blanket next to him with a thud.
Izuku spares a second to be grateful that Kacchan is wearing his beat up high tops and not the big clunky combat boots he wears most days. His mom said she doesn’t really care what happens to the picnic blanket, but the thought of bringing it back covered in boot prints makes him sweat.
“Hoped you weren’t though,” Todoroki chimes in, smoothly sinking down criss-cross applesauce next to Kacchan.
He looks nice, like always. Tapered grey chinos, his usual beat up teal sneakers that Izuku is far less worried about stomping on the picnic blanket, and a casual white stripey t-shirt.
Compared to Kacchan’s black t-shirt and holey black jeans and Izuku’s cargo shorts and short sleeve button up combo that he knows looks stupid but is the only fancy-ish thing he owns, he looks great.
They both always look good, though. At least to Izuku. That’s part of this…whole…thing.
He’s known them both forever. Kacchan actually forever, since the moment he gained a more permanent consciousness at four or five and he was just there, it feels like. All bright hair and cranky eyebrows and big personality.
Neighbors and best friends to frenemies who carpooled with their moms to school most days to college roommates and back again.
Kacchan, his constant. Ever present and built into his bone marrow.
And Todoroki too, the third point of their little triangle. Izuku met him his freshman year when they partnered up for a class project and they haven’t spent more than a few days apart since.
Which is why Izuku spent the last six hours painstakingly making their favorite foods for a picnic he didn’t even tell them about beforehand. Waking up at 6 a.m. to get started, spending way too long packing everything in the special tupperware that fits perfectly stacked into the picnic basket, and hoofing it all out here.
He isn’t ashamed to admit that his mom helped him do almost everything cooking-wise.
Izuku is unfortunately notoriously bad at cooking.
Kacchan won’t even let him into the kitchen in his apartment, let alone to cook in it. Todoroki is marginally better at cooking than he is, but only by the technicality of not cooking much and usually being the one to offer to get take out. And paying for it, which usually keeps Izuku and Kacchan from complaining much.
This time around though, he did make one thing by himself—a cake that he wouldn’t even let his mom touch.
He practiced the recipe three separate times in the two weeks leading up to this end of the term picnic celebration. Vanilla with strawberry frosting, a pink that turned out about the same color that Todoroki’s hair is when it gets all mixed together in the wind.
There’s dorky writing on the top—all three of their names in blocky frosting characters. Looking at it this morning before he put it into the traveling cake container felt like looking at all the embarrassing notebook cover doodles he did in elementary school. But that’s neither here nor there.
After shuffling the rest of the food around to the optimal layout, Izuku reveals the cake last. Aiming for casual but missing by a mile because of how proud he is, he feels like he’s yelling and pointing at the cake even though all he really does is lift the plastic top off and smile a bit to himself.
Kacchan squints down at it, practically glaring a hole into the top of the cake. “Is this a fuckin’ date?”
Izuku starts spluttering, caught off guard. No actual full words come out, just a lot of hand waving and pointing this way and that with the glass bottle of juice he got from the fancy store on his walk home from class that he was in the middle of opening.
Todoroki hums, swiping his pointer finger through the pink frosting and popping it into his mouth. “It’s nice either way.”
Kacchan scoffs, shrugging but still snagging a plate and starting to poke around at the various containers of food anyway.
Todoroki isn’t particularly known for being verbose or even particularly explanatory, but he sure did solve that problem.
Which Izuku is wildly thankful for. Especially because Izuku absolutely means for this to be a date.
Trying to shake off the whiplash of Kacchan as a person in general, Izuku sets about presenting the two of them with their respective favorites.
Kacchan eyes him, distrustfully asking if he made all of this himself himself. When Izuku’s answer of his mom’s help clears him of all suspicion, he asks whether or not he made his own favorites.
Which—wow. Staring at all the tupperwares of food, Izuku realizes he was so preoccupied with what they like and making it perfectly, that he didn’t make his own favorites. It’s fine, but it’s startling to have it pointed out. By Kacchan no less.
But with a respective huff slash eyeroll combination and a small smile, they share with him, eating their fill in the sunshine.
Conversation circles through talk of class and their professors, awful homework and terrible group projects. Kacchan complains about their “bullshit friends” under the guise of not-gossiping but absolutely talking smack. Todoroki pays rapt attention, watching Izuku and Kacchan ping pong topics back and forth as he nods and ask questions in all the right spots to keep them both going for what feels like hours.
Once they finish, he shyly slices up the cake, all quiet pride and unsuspecting hubris.
Todoroki takes a bite first. Izuku watches him, rapt, as he politely hums, swallows with what looks like far too much force, and immediately sets his fork back down on his plate.
That does not…bode well.
Kacchan goes next, instantly on high alert due to Todoroki’s odd response.
He forks a huge bite into his mouth before Izuku can stop him, then promptly chews once, swallows, and chokes so badly that Todoroki offers him his water bottle with a concerned look.
“You forgot the sugar, dipshit,” Kacchan croaks, voice raspy from the coughing. “How did you even make this without sugar?”
“Oh my god,” Izuku whispers, panic and despair and full blown embarrassment making his eyes start to water. “I almost killed you.”
“No, no,” Todoroki starts, trying to do well-meaning but pointless damage control. “It tastes good.”
“Don’t lie to the motherfucker,” Kacchan squawks, waving his fork at Todoroki like a weapon. “Taste it,” he demands, turning to Izuku and holding out a forkful of the awful, demon cake he made with his own two hands.
He hesitantly takes a bite. Then scrambles around for a napkin—which he thankfully packed many of, being prepared pays off—to spit his mouthful into.
“No, you’re right, that’s horrible. Don’t lie, Todoroki-kun. And don’t eat any more of that.”
Todoroki pouts, the tiny purse of his lips at the chiding absolutely adorable. Kacchan takes one look at him, then at Izuku, and starts laughing so hard for so long that he has to wipe tears from his eyes.
It’s unfortunately endearing, even if it is at Izuku’s expense. Especially when Todoroki huffs a laugh too, cheeks pink.
They split a chocolate bar that’s been kicking around the bottom of Izuku’s backpack for the last few days instead, sharing sections and licking sweetness off their fingertips.
Eventually, overwhelmed by it all, Izuku sets out to do what he came here to do.
Awkwardly clearing his throat, he decides to jump right in. It’s tough, having them both instantly turn toward him, so he looks down at his fidgeting hands and does his best.
“I know I kinda sprung this on you guys, and it probably wasn’t something you desperately wanted to do—I do appreciate you coming out even without me like, explicitly inviting you and also you thinking I was maybe dead—” He spends another thirty seconds talking around his point until he finally works up the nerve to end with, “I—uh, I like you guys. Romantically. Both of you.”
Kacchan snorts, which sends white hot embarrassment quickly followed by the cold dread of pure panic coursing through Izuku’s body. But when he looks up, Kacchan is smiling.
Actually, smirking would be a better descriptor, but still. And his cheeks are pink.
Todoroki is nodding intently, face free of any revelatory expression, but with his pretty eyes trained on Izuku.
He speaks first. “We figured, yes.”
“No shit,” Kacchan counters, the pride in his voice a tangible thing.
“Is the feeling, uh—” of course Izuku’s voice would crack during one of the most important questions of his life, “—mutual?”
Todoroki smiles, something sweet and small and perfect.
Kacchan says “no shit” again, but louder this time. “Duh. We trekked all the way out here on nothing but a whim and your bullshit location text message, didn’t we?”
And he has a point there. A fantastic, beautiful point.
No one says anything for a bit, taking turns looking at each other in what may be either anticipation, awkwardness, or unsurety about what happens next. Izuku isn’t sure what to do from here, but he thinks an all around agreement is good, right?
“Now that we’ve got that sorted,” Kacchan mutters, rising to his feet. Izuku doesn’t really feel like they have anything sorted at all.
“Where are you goi—” he starts to ask, panic making him sit up straight, leaning forward to reach out like he can grab Kacchan and pull him back down again.
Instead of leaving, Kacchan kicks Izuku’s feet apart and drops to his knees in between them.
“What?”
“Lemme suck you off.”
”What.”
Kacchan rolls his eyes into the back of his head. He’s lucky he’s good looking, because his facial expressions are kinda awful. “Been thinking about it since I was sixteen, now’s the perfect time. You got your shit together and confessed and everything.”
Izuku chokes, words fully escaping him for the first time in a while.
Todoroki hums from where he’s still sitting cross-legged next to them.
“What,” Izuku tries again, high pitched with panic. “This is a public park.”
“It’s not a fuckin park, it’s a field in the middle of fuck all nowhere. There’s nothing around for like a quarter mile in all directions.” With a terribly smug look, Kacchan hooks a thumb over his left shoulder at Todoroki. “Half ‘n half checked.”
Todoroki nods, looking extremely interested in the proceedings. “Before we got here, just to make sure.”
“Did you plan this?” Izuku shrieks so loudly he’s surprised birds don’t take off from the trees around them.
“Did you?" Kacchan asks, eyes half-lidded from his spot between Izuku’s knees. He absolutely cannot be looking at him like that right now, it’s too much.
Oh god. They’ve been planning while he’s been planning. Everyone has been planning. In different directions, but still. Plans were being made. Half-deliriously, he wonders how they decided to enact theirs. When did they talk about it? Did they come to the same conclusion together, or did one of them ask the other first? Did they realize at the same time he did?
Todoroki interrupts both of them by leaning over, taking Izuku’s face in both hands, and kissing the absolute hell out of him.
It’s a soft kiss, at first. Sweet and tender. But Todoroki is apparently a demon, because before Izuku knows it, Todoroki’s tongue is in his mouth trying to lick the back of his teeth. Hot and wet, he bites down hard on Izuku’s lower lip and takes his open-mouthed gasp as an invitation to kiss him even harder.
“Okay, you gotta kiss me like that later, dickhead,” Kacchan mumbles from below them, warm fingers fiddling with the button of Izuku’s cargo shorts.
One of Todoroki’s hands leaves Izuku’s face to, what he can only assume, pat gently at Kacchan’s hair. He rumbles like a cat purring, so he’s guessing he isn’t too far off.
Todoroki keeps kissing him, tongues tangled, while Kacchan bats impatiently at Izuku’s hips until he shuffles around enough for him to yank his shorts down enough to get at his unfortunately tented underwear.
He’s embarrassed for a split second, expecting Kacchan to make fun of him, but he just rumbles all pleased again and practically presses his face to Izuku’s hard on.
This is too much, probably. Izuku is gonna pass out. He's hard from one kiss and the mere idea of someone putting their mouth on his dick, let alone Kacchan. He thought a picnic was going to be sweet and maybe they’d kiss goodbye at most. But he was woefully unprepared for this.
Tugging his boxer briefs down below his dick and snapping the elastic like an absolute bastard, Kacchan hums and then lightly punches Todoroki in the side, distracting him from where he’s still kissing Izuku like it’s the only thing he ever wants to do for the rest of his life.
To Izuku’s absolute despair, Todoroki pulls away to glance down at Kacchan. With no words passed between them, just Kacchan’s haughtily expectant look and Todoroki’s typical willingness, Kacchan holds out his hand.
Izuku has no idea what for until Todoroki grips Kacchan’s wrist, pulls his hand up higher to his spit-slick mouth, and licks up his palm to his fingers in one smooth motion.
He might squeak, but he isn’t sure. All the remaining blood he had left in his brain swan dives to his dick.
Kacchan apparently deems that satisfactory, releases Todoroki back to his kissing-demon bidding, and grabs Izuku by the dick with a little too much force. He’s pretty sure he’s into it though, but doesn’t get a ton of time to think with Todoroki’s lips back on his like a magnet.
Jerking him off once, twice, three times is apparently all Kacchan needs by way of lubrication, because he kisses the tip of Izuku’s dick gently and then takes the entire thing down his throat with no hesitation.
It makes Izuku moan pitifully into Todoroki’s mouth, who slides his hand to rest firmly on the nape of Izuku’s neck. Being kept in place like that helps, especially when his body wants to start moving into the heat of Kacchan’s awful mouth.
Speaking of awful mouths, Kacchan takes him deep into the back of his throat and hums and it makes Izuku’s toes curl and his mouth go slack against Todoroki’s.
The lack of kissing has Todoroki pressing a kiss to his cheek and moving down his jaw to his neck, lips skimming across hot skin until he stars layering a truly intense hickey over the slope of Izuku’s neck and his shoulder.
It’s too much, the mouth on his neck and the other one on his dick. Izuku is going to cry.
With a hand gripped in Todoroki’s silky hair and another one in Kacchan’s unruly spikes, he holds on for dear life and tries to keep his moans to a minimum as to not frighten all the nearby wildlife.
Kacchan does something complicated with his tongue that punches out a groan out of him. Todoroki laughs against his neck, resting his forehead on his shoulder and watching the proceedings below him.
“Stop looking,” Izuku mumbles breathlessly. “S’embarrasing.”
Pulling off of his dick with a loud pop, Kacchan huffs. “Getting your cock sucked is embarrassing? Dweeb.”
Izuku whines again, shifting restlessly until everyone gets the hint and gets back to what they were doing.
Kacchan has always been good at everything but he’s especially good at this. Izuku feels like his brain is melting out of his ears, especially with Todoroki pressed up next to him, petting along his sides and running his long fingers through Izuku’s hair.
It doesn’t take long for that tight, too-bright feeling to start low in Izuku’s belly. Unfortunately Kacchan can clearly sense it, because he slows down, drags it out, makes Izuku whine and plead and beg. Which has Todoroki sucking in quiet soft breaths next to him.
The feedback loop is brutal, all three of them tangled up and interconnected. So close and so warm and so good.
Izuku comes with a strangled cry barely thirty seconds later, his hips rolling up and Kacchan riding the motion with ease. Todoroki presses a tiny kiss to the spot behind Izuku’s ear, practically holding up his body weight from where Izuku is leaning into him.
The afterglow is fantastic but is cut short by Kacchan making a horrible slurping noise and pinching at the soft skin of Izuku’s inner thigh. When he jolts, Kacchan reaches over him and pinches at Todoroki’s waist too, as some sort of equality based retribution.
Todoroki takes it without moving, but reaches down whip-quick and pinches Kacchan’s earlobe real hard, making him squawk and try to roll away.
He sits up on hi sknees, looks at the two of them slumped all over each other, and leans down to give them both dirty open mouth kisses back to back.
It leaves Izuku breathless, even with the vague taste of his own come, and leaves Todoroki pleasantly lax, which was probably Kacchan's intent all along. He's always telling them to quiet down.
With a leer that has Todoroki sighing from where he’s leaning against Izuku, Kacchan swipes his hand across the back of his wet mouth and says, “Thanks for the food, nerd. Dessert was good too.”
Izuku shrieks again, absolutely mortified. Covering his face to hide his blush, he smacks his head into the tree behind him on accident and wails.
Face pink and dick still out, sitting in the woods and surrounded by the laughter of his two hopefully-boyfriends, Izuku breathes through the embarrassment and settles into absolute happiness.
