Welcome to the fic. Please refer to this chapter for any information needed regarding the Zenin clan, since it gets very complicated.

Warnings will be announced before every chapter. The main warning of the series is some mention of incest: the OC, Eri Zenin, is first-cousins with Naoya Zenin, whom she is betrothed with. This has been done for plot reasons (the Zenin Clan is icky with its ways), but please do not read if this makes you uncomfortable. Themes of violence, familial abuse, sexism, and misogyny will also be present (again, due to the Zenin Clan).

The Hei

• The Hei is a unit composed of members of the clan ranked semi-grade 1 and above. They are the strongest group of jujutsu sorcerers within the Zenin Family and are currently led by Naoya.

The Kukuru Unit

• The Kukuru Unit is a lower branch of the Hei composed of Zenin male members who don't possess innate techniques. All members of the clan who fit the criteria are required to enlist and undergo grueling martial arts training day and night

The Akashi

• The Akashi are members of the Zenin clan who have cursed techniques, but do not meet the requirements for joining the Hei
