Work Text:
yeosang was in such a big rush to get to her class that she didn’t check the weather, hence she didn’t notice the dark grey clouds.
but once she left her apartment, she noticed barely any cars in sight, great. how was she supposed to get a ride now?
she stopped at a booth and pulled out her phone, hoping to find a solution to her problem.
but that’s when it started. the rain tapping against the ground.
she sighed in defeat as she sat down on the bench. the rain only started pouring harder by then.
but then someone joined her under the booth. a very tall man who looked just as distressed as she was.
he wore a black long sleeve turtleneck with a dark brown plaid trench coat over which reached his calves, beige trousers, and black converse. his neck adorned with necklaces and his fingers with rings.
he was hot.
yeosang quickly looked away and unlocked her phone, cheeks tinted a light shade of pink.
the silence between them was thick.
as more time passed, the rain only poured harder. well there goes yeosang’s plans to go to class.
yeosang should have also never worn a lace trim knitted crop top, black pleated skirt, white frilly socks and black maryjanes. she was freezing.
she shivered slightly as she watched the rain. she sighed, trying to seem like the cold air didn’t affect her.
but it proved hopeless as yeosang started shivering more noticeably which most likely caught the guy’s attention.
the next moment yeosang saw a flurry of brown in front of her. she turned to her left and saw the guy holding out his trench coat. she slowly took it and put it on. immediately she let out a content sigh.
“i don’t think i’ve ever seen someone wear such little clothes during this weather.” the guy laughed.
damn, even his laugh was hot. and his voice, it was deep—yeosang, get ahold of yourself.
“i didn’t check the weather this morning.” yeosang shyly said. the guy let out another laugh and yeosang smiled too.
“jeong yunho.”
“kang yeosang.”
“so looks like we’re stuck here for a while it seems.” yunho said as he looked in front of him at the rain.
“seems so.”
“so what is such a pretty girl doing here trapped by the rain?” yunho asked. yeosang flushed red and cleared her throat before talking,
“i was going to class but i left my apartment a little late which resulted in me not checking the weather as i was rushing. but then i barely saw any cars so i came here to see what i could do.”
“what about you? what is such a handsome guy doing trapped by the rain?” yeosang teasingly said.
“ah, well i was going to meet my friend for some coffee but i got a little lost and then the rain caught me.”
“but hey, i don’t mind. it led me to meeting such a beautiful girl.” yunho winked.
“jeong yunho, you are such a charmer.”
“what can i say, when there’s such a beauty in front of me, i must appreciate it.”
as the pair talked, they lost track of time and soon the rain had gotten lighter.
“looks like it’s safe to leave now. we better get going before it starts again and gets us trapped.” yunho spoke.
yeosang nodded and stood up. she got her backpack and was about to take off yunho’s trenchcoat but he stopped her.
“keep it, till we meet again beautiful.” yunho gently grabbed her hand a left a kiss before winking and walking away.
yeosang waited till he was out of view and squeled. she grabbed her stuff and happily made her way home.
once she did she sighed dreamily. but a question that kept resurfacing as she walked home was,
would she ever meet yunho again?
