He hadn’t been back to the country in almost 3 years
When his plane finally landed and he walked to the passport check, the signs calling for him to move to the “Thai passport” made him feel special, he was finally back
The procedure was quick and Mix was out of the airport in just 20 minutes
He had a cart full with luggages and he finally put his SIM card in his phone
“Finally back my friend?” Khao was heard from the other side of the phone
“Its really warm Khao, where are you” Mix was sweating already, it was 45 celsius and he was wearing a hoodie and sweatpants, it was really cold in the plane
“Be there in 2 minutes, which gate are you outside from?” Khao asked
“12. Be quick!” Mix laughed and hung up
True to his words, Khao was there two minutes after they hang up
“I can’t believe I am finally seeing you, and not just through my phone” He smiled
“Feels good to be back” Mix said in their hug
“Get in” he called, as soon as they put all of his stuff inside the car
Mix opened the door and was immediately met with the cool air of the ac
“This is First. My boyfriend” Khao introduced the driver
“Nice to finally meet you” First smiled through the mirror
“Nice to meet you First. Still dont understand how you can handle Khao but I am happy for you guys” Mix laughed earning a death stare from his close friend
“So, what is the plan now?” Khao asked
“I have 3 days to settle in, and then I am off to work. I heard good things about the boss, and we have talked some through email, he seemed very understanding” Mix smiled
“Awesome. We will let you relax for today, but tomorrow we are having dinner with one of First friends, you must join us” Khao said, all happy and giggly
“Oh yes! P’Earth would really like that” First agreed smiling
“Sure, I would love to have dinner with you guys” Mix smiled and looked out the window admiring the beauty of Thailand

It was so hard putting everything away but once he did, Mix fell asleep immediately
He had a quick dinner from a place next to his house and fell asleep scrolling on IKEA, looking for some extra furniture he would need

Mix smiled on his phone and breathed

Fine
Ill be there, only for the food
Mix turned on a call with his mum that haven’t talked since he landed in Thailand
“Maee!!” He called as soon as his mother picked up the phone
“How are you my son? How was your flight” She asked, cooking something from the other side of the world
“It was good, I slept almost the whole flight, and when I landed Khao picked me up. He is hosting a dinner tonight, and I have to go” Mix explained to his mum with a tired face but a smile on his face
“Oh, sweet Khao, tell him I’ll cook for him when he comes to visit” She smiled, with how Mixs friend took care of him
“Yeah, sweet monster, he is forcing me. I am dead tired and I simply want to sleep” Mix fell on his bed
“Go take shower, and then get ready, buy a wine and go to Khaos! I am sure you will have fun!” His mum encouraged him
“Yes Mae…” Mix frowned and after half an hour of talking he had to hung up with his Mae to get ready and head to his friend
Opening the shower Mix realised he doesn’t have anything to wash his body, nor his hair, or in general do anything else to clean up
“Of course” He mumbled and went back to his room looking around his luggages for some sweatpants to go buy a few essential things
Walking around his neighbourhood, felt so strange, he was looking like a tourists, for a convent store to buy some shampoo, body wash, and maybe something to eat for the next day
“Hi” Mix walked in a 7/11, thankfully a big one
He walked around, looking for his needed to stuff
“Pa! Don’t embarrass me please.” He heard a what he thinks teenager whispering to his dad, they were standing in the isle with shampoos and personal hygiene, right in front of the condoms and lubes
“Look, I’d rather you being embarrassed and safe, than anything else” The older man said, looking around the condoms, he looked really handsome and Mix was simply staring at him
“Can I help you?”The older guy asked
Mix snapped out of his thoughts and smiled back at the older guy
“Sorry, I need to go to the shampoos..”
“Oh sorry” The other one smiled, and opened the way for Mix to reach his products
“Dad, can we please go” The teenager, whispered his face red from embarrassment
“To be fair, I would be embarrassed too, if my dad bought my condoms..But I would be really thankful. Dads, always know more things than we do” Mix stepped up
“See! Everybody uses condoms, and it’s totally normal to talk about it. Come on, I prefer these ones, but it always depends on you” The gentleman explained and Mix felt that he had to speak again, even though he barely had an hour to get ready and go to his friends house
“These are good, they can be stretched so they dont feel strange. This is a good brand in general. I will have to agree with your dad, but sometimes, you should talk with your partner in case they have any allergies or they get irritated easily…Things to go right when you dont ask” Mix laughed earning a laugh from the older one
“I will let you pick on your own, I’ll go buy some other things I need now that we are here” The dad said an walked away
Mix felt that it was the right time to get his shampoo and leave too
“You are very lucky to have such a supporting and open dad. Its for your own good” He said to the teen and finally left him alone
Walking pass the wines, he figured he should buy something for the dinner
“Thank you for stepping up. I was shaking. I hope I looked confident” Mix heard from behind him
“You are doing an amazing job, showing him, how to be safe. You were more than confident dont worry” Mix laughed
“Any suggestion for good wine?” Mix asked, since he didn’t know a lot about wines, he just enjoyed drinking sparkling wine and on rare occasions red
“Depends on what you are having for dinner. Red is always a safe option, if you want to be natural. White wine is more delicate, not for every occasion. This one, is a safe option, for everyone” The gentleman handed Mix a bottle of red wine and smiled
“Thank you, honestly I am at lost, I have a dinner with some friends, and I have no idea what we are eating” Mix explained, he enjoyed the small talk he was having
“Mix” Mix said, loudly after some moments of silence
“I mean, I am Mix. My name is Mix” He added, explaining quickly
“Haha, nice to meet you” The other one smiled
“I am Earth” Earth smiled back
“I dont want to be weird but I just move here, and I feel like its good to know a people or two around the neighbourhood” Mix explained, even though that was definitely not the truth
“Totally! We could, uhh..go for coffee if you want once, or wine. I know a good place” Earth said really excited
“Yes. That sounds lovely” Mix smiled
“I have to go. I can hear my kid calling me” Earth smiled
But before leaving he opened his phone and handed it to Mix
“I have to contact you somehow” They both laughed
While Mix was typing, he felt the urge to tell a big truth to the other one
“I’m gay” Mix didn’t look up yet
“That’s nice to know” He heard Earths horse voice, with a tone of smiling in it
“Dad!” They heard from behind them and Earth smiled
“See you around” Earth smiled and finally walked to his son

Mix now had to literally rush back to his house, shower, find clothes in the mess of his house and find a taxi to Khaos house

Running a bit late

Khao typed and turned to his boyfriend First and his best friend
“My friends gonna be a bit late, he’ll be here in like half an hour” Khao said smiling
“That’s okay, we can start with the wine” Khaos friend suggested
“That’s why I like your friends” Khao smiled
“Because you share the same taste in wines” First smiled making the other two men laugh
After opening a bottle of wine, and laughing with stories of Khao and First the doorbell rung and true to his words, Mix was at the door step of Khaos house
“I am sorry. I am here!” He said once the door opened
“Come in, they are waiting in the living room” First smiled, and after brief hug, he showed Mix the way
“Finally!” Khao said and stood up to greet his friend
“Mix this is-“ First said but was cut by two voices
“Earth” “Mix” They said in union
“So this is the dinner, you didn’t know what to bring” Earth smiled
“Caught me” Mix laughed
“You two, know each other?” Khao asked, serving some wine to the new guest
“Met at the 7/11 near my house” Earth smiled
“Okay, I am starving can we please eat” First interrupted, making everyone laugh
