Chapter Text
It was a normal day in Animatronica, Freddy and his friends were running around the town, helping people and defeating monsters. Balloon Boy and JJ we’re running around playing a game of tag, with Marionette supervising from the distance. Fredbear and SpringBonnie were talking about some new issue or whatever. It didn’t really matter to Lolbit. She was sitting on the edge of Lilygear Lake, her shoes discarded underneath a tree a few meters away so she could dip her feet in the water. Her best friends, Mendo and Dee Dee were sitting next to her. Dee Dee was fishing, as she usually did whenever the group of friends decided to sit by the lake, and Mendo was reading a book. He had opted to keep himself completely dry, so he sat a little further back from the water than the other two.
“Lolbit-“ came Dee Dee’s voice from beside Lolbit, she turned to look at the girl. “Yes Dee?” She replied, looking Dee Dee in the eye. “Well, it’s just that you’ve been quiet for the past few hours, normally you’re super talkative” said Dee Dee, to which Mendo nodded in agreement, “Dee’s right Bit, you’ve been acting odd, is something wrong?” Both Dee Dee and Mendo looked at Lolbit with curiosity and slight concern
“I’m fine, just thinking” Lolbit said, she looked back at the water “about what could be beyond that glitchy tree that Fredbear blocked off, I believe he called it ‘The Flipside’ or something” she said, kicking her feet, so the water began to swirl
Both her friends looked at her for a moment before Mendo spoke up, “I suppose I’m curious as well, but Fredbear said it’s dangerous, and I believe we should listen to him” he said, closing his book, “and to take your mind off it, let’s go get some Ice Cream, my treat”
Dee Dee immediately hopped up at the mention of the treat, and lolbit smiled and got up as well. Mendo led them to Animatronicas very own Ice Cream Parlour, run by Rainbow as a way to work off the community service hours she had been given from a while back. The trio ordered their ice cream and payed, before leaving to go their separate ways for the day. Lolbit went to her house, she went to her room and pulled out a notebook. She found an empty page amongst the diagrams for Bytes and transportation vehicles and began to write-
“Inventors Log #87
I have decided that in order to finally appease my curiosity, I’m gonna check out the flipside. Fredbear said that it’s dangerous and that nobody should go near it, but truth be told the town limits seem much more dangerous, with all those monsters roaming around. I’m gonna pack a hoodie and some snacks, I’ll hold them all in my satchel. I’m going to attempt to leave around 12:00 am tonight. I shall update this when I return”
Satisfied with her journal entry, she decided to find ways to kill some time before she left for her expedition. She watched some sappy soap opera about a deadbeat vampire who didn’t wanna pay child support. She made some cookies, which she devoured in a single sitting, and she stitched up the hole in her ‘super cool salesman coat’
When the time hit 11:45 pm, she got ready for her adventure. She tied her unruly hair back and put on her sneakers. She put on some overalls and a sweater, then her ‘super cool salesman coat’, finally she grabbed her satchel bag and shoved some chips and candy in it. She filled up a water bottle and left her house at 12:00 am sharp.
