Summary:

Prudence could be called London's most incredible actress considering she had fooled everyone she knew into believing that she was a half-wit. When in fact she was an intelligent, considerate and loving woman who wanted to be free of the possibility of an abusive relationship like her parents.

Sadly, Prudence and Benedict are found in a scandalous position where the two of them are forced to marry. They decide that they will stay married for six months to keep the charade before Prudence ships herself off to France where she can live the life she has always dreamed...

Chapter 1: Message from Author

Dearest gentle reader,

   OH MY GOD....

   I'm back! You have no idea how gut wrenching this was. Something big happened in my personal life and my account was deleted by someone close to me. It was painful and only now was I able to get back on the horse. I have gone under a different name this time for personal reasons, but I apologise for the wait.

   You have all been amazing and I wish I could bring back my other account, but fear not, I will transfer all my previous works to this account. I hope you will all bear with me as I begin re-uploading them all and enjoy as I finally get to come back to writing about the people I love. Thank you for being patient with me, and I cannot express how sorry I am. 

   I look forward to getting back into these stories and I hope you will all fall back in love with them too :)
