[2] I’m assuming “MacMillian” is a misspelling; otherwise Mac must have changed her name
[3] The “d” is cut off, but there is an Elwood in Melbourne, not far from St Kilda, so I assume that’s where Mac’s mother lives
[4] According to Google Maps, in modern day, Brighton is about a 9-minute drive from St Kilda, and Elwood is about halfway between the two. The two main routes from St Kilda to Brighton are 6.2 km and 6.5 km (3.9 mi and 4 mi), and interestingly, one of them takes you very close to Rippon Lea (Aunt Prudence’s estate)
[5] This line is cut off after the “o”; however, you can see a bit of a line that matches the way Spall writes the bottom of his “y’s.” Based on that and the placement of said line, I am assuming the word there is “Anatomy,” and thus it would make sense that it actually says “Anatomy Professor,” supported by what Spall wrote under “Experience”
[6] CBD = Central Business District. I actually thought it said CDD at first, but as far as I can tell, that doesn’t mean anything, whereas Melbourne CBD does. Upon closer inspection, it’s probable that he did write a “b” but it looks very similar to a “d”
[7] Oh, how I wish we’d gotten to see Lola explaining what happened to Lavinia after the opening scene, with Phryne, Dot, and Mac there! Presumably Mac knows her, but did she know she was Dot’s sister? I would’ve loved to see everyone’s reactions when Mac and Lola recognized each other
[8] There is some more writing after this. It looks like the next word might be “ht” for height, but after that, you can’t see enough of it to even guess at what it says. (There’s also a lot more writing on the back of the page, but it’s never in close view of the camera, so there’s no way to read it.) Tammy’s height is indeed 5’4” (162.6 cm), and Australia didn’t switch from imperial units to metric until July 1974, hence the use of imperial units in the show
