Lumine’s POV:
It was war time we had been hacked by outsiders they came into our world and started to destroy our villages on the grown and now they are villages go live with apron the floating islands.
“Aether we must go to one of the lower floating islands there is would that there are black marker traders.”
Aether look at me he hated downing this type of work but he has no choice he is the God of darkness but he’s also the god of piece how ironic the goddess of immaculate light it’s also the goddess of war. “Yes sister, Don’t forget your war mask.” I reach out a hand to my brother how then placed my mask in my hand it was a full face mask it was black and gold the eyes of the mask would glow white when I was using my powers. (The mask is identical to Xiao’s mask.)
I hated looking at the mask, I was given this mask when I was born it shows that I’m a Warrior I look to my twin he did not where a mask his hood had been given to him when he was born which hid his face from those who would seek to find out who he is. “Let’s go brother time is of the essence.” He nodded we call out are wings and fly down to the Treasure the only trading place in Pangaea.
When we lended in the village I notes that all the residence we’re hiding in there home as the slave traders walk around that love to travel to other realms and universes, I look to Aether how look sick at seeing are people scared to come out. “Brother let’s take them out quickly.” I look back to the man. “Yes sister let’s take them out as soon as possible and free are people.” The man torn to us they immediately recognise us by our clothing and my mask some try to run but I quickly take me down using one of my favourite weapons is a polearm that was made out of adamantine and silver the polearm name was Sutākattā (star cutter).
Once we had killed all the traders, Aether and I had not been merciful on them, I volunteered to walk around their ‘goods’ as I was downing that my brother was talking to the village elder and finding out more information when I walk in to a tent with cages all were what that change when I got to the back of the tent and found a cage with the little boy in it, the boy had bright gold eyes that had a slit pupil, his hair was black with green highlights in some parts but what caught my attention was a tattoo of a bird Dunning green ink on his arm and a purple diamond upon his forehead.
I move forward slowly not to scare the child. “Hay little one I’m going to open the door.” The boy moved back as I open the door the boy slowly moved to me once he was certain that it was safe for him to move to me when her was standing in front of me I move to sit on my knees. “Hay little one what is your name?”
He look at me as I got a closer look. I noticed that none of his physical features were of any species from this world then I noticed a shadow moving I torn to the shadow. “You should not be here.” I called my weapon read to kill the man in one strike I killed ten by cutting open his stomach, the sleigh traders che must’ve been in here the whole time I watch the man died I torn back to the boy whose eyes were wide open he was not scared but fascinated.
The boy moved to me, I look down at him he was looking up at me, in a soft voice. “I’m called Alatus.” I quickly took notice of the language. The boy was speaking, which was known as the divine language, I tack of my mask and handed it to him he looked at the mask that I had given him turning in looking at it from every angle he looked up at me. “Miss why would you give me your mask.” I Neil down to his level to look him in the eye. “My mask has a name it is called Xiao it helps ward off evil spirits and disasters and bring good luck to the Who ever holds it this has been with me in every battle since I was born, I hope it will make you return home safe.”
Alatus looks at me with big eyes. “And the colouring bout the eyes will change to suits better, now come I will shuffle misspelled to send you home as I can tell you’re not from here.” He nodded and I walk out I torn making Alatus stop. “ 天の炎で燃え上がる .” (burn with flams of the heavens.) The tent set alight once the words left my mouth after awhile there was nothing left of the tent I look to my brother who just shook his head at me I noticed that there were no villages around him which was good as my hood was off.
My brother look down to see Alatus. “Sister why does that child have Xiao?” He see in a curious tone of voice he didn’t seem angry just surprised. “He has my mark and I need to send him home with a spell that I haven’t used it in awhile so the mask will keep him safe as it has low powers within it.” He nodded his head he look to the are on the boy that had a bird don in green ink.
Thinking about it my own mark on my lower back started to burn, my brother didn’t have one where is marks symbolise own mate my brother had been bitter about it bout he understood as he was going to be the next ruler of our people and he knew he would never marry for love he was happy that I had chance to find true love, I look down at Alatus how was watching my brother with wariness in his eyes I bend down to look in his gold eyes. “Alatus that is my older brother.”
Alatus look at my and slowly not as his head. “O I forget to tell you my name, my name is Ying I’m the goddess of Immaculate Light and war and over there my brother name is Kong he is the god of darkness and piece.” Little Alatus eye in surprise he look between me and my hoodie brother. “It ok we better get you to the great door.
I pick up Alatus who buried his face into my neck, I call out my black wings and took off into the sky, right behind my brother as we were flying through the sky, I noticed a lot of a floating islands where on able to sustain life I look to my brother, who was looking back at me with sad eyes, knowing the same thing.
some time parts and we arrived at the great door, which could take us anywhere in the universe we even can travel through time if we wanted to bout that was forbidden the door was mad out black oak wood with silver and gold embellishing thatheld in many different types of crystals that held different types of magic, which helps the great to connect to other worlds in the universe, we land on the planet form that was made from white stone I place Alatus down on to the ground the boy looks around us as the different is the surrounding area around the great door was surrounded by its own galaxy which protects the door from those that cannot enter.
Alatus look up at me. “Is this how I get home?” I nod my head my hair, I walk up to the door bring Alatus to it. “Alatus place you left hand on the door and think of the place you want to return to think of home, which is the most easiest way when the door starts going remove your hand, the black wooden door would disappear, leaving the silver and gold embellishments. It will create a portal for you to walk through and return home, do you understand?” Can you not as his head and did as I instructed him to do once the door created the portal. He walked through disappearing from my brother and I senses.
I torn to my brother how was not happy with me bout I ignore him and head off home, leaving my brother behind. It would be many years before I meet Alatus once again but this time it will be in his own world.
