Peter wrinkled his nose.
“Wade, that’s disgusting. Nobody in their right mind puts pineapple and olives on pizza.”
“Well, baby boy, good thing I’m not in my right mind”, Wade flashed a smile, practically stuffing an entire slice in his mouth. He tossed the second box down into Peter’s lap, chewing obnoxiously.
“Beshides, I goch yoo your ohwn!” Wade took a pause to swallow, before grinning wide.
“It’s your favorite! I even got extra pepperoni.”
Peter blinked.
Opening the box tenderly, he stared down at the pizza inside.
Double pepperoni. His favorite.
Slowly, he looked back over at Wade, who was presently stuffing his face.
“Uh, thank you.” Peter muttered, his voice oddly soft.
It’s just pizza, Parker. No need to get emotional.
He rolled his mask up above his nose before gingerly picking up a piece of pizza and taking a bite.
It was heavenly.
“Ohmygod,” Peter rasped between bites.
“Where did you get this.”
Wade laughed, clamping a hand down on Peter’s shoulder.
“Relax Pete, the pizza isn’t going anywhere. I got it from some little Chicago style family joint about a block away,” He licked his gloved fingers, (which Peter grimaced at), having already finished the last slice of his monstrosity.
“Made sure to tip extra." Wade tagged on, knocking his shoulder against Peter’s.
Peter rested his head on Wade’s shoulder, watching the lights of the traffic below.
“I would tip extra too, considering you asked them to make the grossest pizza ever.”
Wade laughed, gently laying his head over Peter’s.
“At least my flavor palette is more advanced than pepperoni.”
