Two Sets Of Miracles

Summary:

She ran.
She ran far away from anyone and everyone that could ever hurt her.
Not Wasp, not those prophets or librarians or the civilians in the walkways.
She ran.
She ran from it all.

And she kept running.
from her problems, her mind, and her people.
And she kept running.
Until she found him.

This was not going well.

Clearsight sat in her tower above the castle, looking at her papers full of future moments and requests from citizens. She never knew what things she would have to deal with once she got to Pantala. The entire continent had just ended a civil war and it was in complete shambles. She was grateful for Sunstreak helping her through being crowned as a queen goddess type, and through repairing the kingdom. Everything was going fine, well even. That was until the prophecy. IIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIII Clearsight walked out of the banquet hall with Sunstreak. The formalities of the weekly council dinner were starting to get on her nerves. The chatter behind her was starting to echo in her head, a tell tale sign of a a migraine. She needed to get somewhere to calm down. “Sunstreak, can we go to the cliff? I can’t handle the hall right now.” “Of course. You know how you get when you get stressed out. Clear sight chuckled to herself. “Yeah, I know.”

Sunstreak gave her a playful shove and they took off from the balcony. The cliff they always go to watch the sunset was about a mile away. Sadly, the cliff was going to be eroded down in about 80 years, but she tries not to think about that.
They land together on the cliffs edge like they’ve done so many times before. Facing towards the sunset, they sat together.

Just then her migraine spiked up.

“Ngh!”

This one was different. More powerful. She didn’t know what to do. The pounding in her temple was getting louder. Sunstreak was saying something, she couldn’t tell what.

“clearsight, Clearsight!”

Then everything went white.

WHEN THE HIVES ARE WATCHED AND CORUPTED
A flash of a statue. WHEN THE TRIBES ARE LOST AND ALONE
THE FOUR EYES SHALL SHOW THEIR ABUNDANCE THEIR FULL POWER WILL BE HONED four eyes spining around. THEY SHALL STRIKE WHAT IS EVIL
She was not her. THEY SHALL SAVE WHAT IS GONE
FOR THE TRUE QUEEN WILL RISE
She was time. TO CALL ALL THE TRIBES TO A NEW DESIGN

She was infinite.

Then everything went black again.

Then white.

Then the pain was back

All she could see was a very distressed Sunstreak standing over her.

“Clearsight! What in the name of the moons was that? You were talking about eyes and stuff, Are you okay? Do you need a healer-“

“Sunstreak, I’m fine. There’s no need to….”

What was that? A glimpse into the future? A prophecy? No that’s impossible. Her future sight is much more advanced than basic seers. So then why did it feel so real? So… factual?

Suddenly she was jerked to the left.

“Clearsight, dear, you’re spacing out on me again.”

“Sorry I, I just need to get home.”

“Oh. Okay then, let’s head back.”

They took of again. Clearsight didn’t know how much time had past since they got to the cliff. I didn’t matter. She needed to write down what she saw. Now.

IIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIII

That was three moons ago. She hadn’t cracked what it meant, but she was sure it was a prophecy. It seemed to happen in the future, for the dragons looked more like hornets and bees than dragons. But whatever it meant, it was coming, and it was going to hurt her subjects.

Clearsight was going to wait to write the book until she got older, but she was about to hit 65 years. With the prophecy, she needed to record it. Record everything.

Whatever it takes to keep her new tribe safe.
