Work Text:
She’d been asleep the first time he laid eyes on her, sprawled atop a tall, wooden bed which had likely been salvaged from a junkyard. Another foster kid of Plutt’s, it seemed. Another fat check before they’re placed with another family, and Plutt got another kid to line his pockets while providing just the bare minimum of childcare.
Ben frowned. He’d never been fond of his landlord or his schemes, but he had his good sides. Like keeping his existence a secret from the world, getting him his mail and deliveries, and renting him his basement below market value. Ben couldn’t give all that up for a bunch of kids, and he had since come up with an inventive method to get them away from Plutt and gain his privacy back.
Two birds, one stone.
He approached the bed and stared at the girl through the dim night light. She was a tiny thing, this little bird of a child, curled up under the covers in a fetal position, with her brown hair strewn over stained and lumpy pillows. She couldn’t be more than eight or nine. Possibly younger if her lack of height meant anything. Not that it really mattered. She’d be gone in a week’s time tops by the time he was done with her.
He ruffled his long dark hair until he had a head of unruly strands that the previous kids seemed to find positively terrifying in the dark. That he was wearing all black only added to the effect.
He reached for the covers and flung it off the mattress. The girl flinched from the sudden chill, and turned to look at him, looming silently and menacingly at the foot of the bed.
He waited for the screams to follow; waited for the vision of abject terror in the child’s face before he threw the blanket over them and slipped under the bed, and into the hidden hatch which led to his basement home. And after a few nights of this, the agency would swoop in and put the child in a new foster home.
He waited.
And waited.
But the girl only stared.
Huh.
He took a step closer, raised his hands as though they were claws, and let out a threatening growl.
Not even a flinch.
Then…
“You’re not like my other boogeyman.”
That gave him a pause; that tiny, lilting voice coming from an equally tiny human. Even in the relative darkness, he saw no fear in her eyes. Just curiosity.
He dropped his hands to his sides, thankful that the poor light hid how red his face was. He must’ve looked really stupid.
She sat up and crawled towards him. He nearly fell over backwards.
She paused and tilted her head.
“Are you scared, Mr. Boogeyman?”
“N-No,” he spoke for what seemed to be the first time in months, not counting the sporadic online therapy sessions his mother had forced him to take.
“Don’t be scared. I won’t hurt you.” The girl smiled and held out her hand. “My name’s Reyanna. You can call me Rey.”
He stared at her open palm. He couldn’t remember the last time he had shaken someone’s hand, but he did remember what his therapist said about opening himself up to people again.
Baby steps.
Start small.
Maybe with a handshake.
Trying to keep himself from trembling, he reached out and took the girl’s hand in his. It practically disappeared in his grip as he shook and quickly let go, his palm still tingling from the first human touch he had experienced in years.
“See? That wasn’t so bad.” Rey was still smiling. Radiant even in the dark. “Do you live here, Mr. Boogeyman?”
“I do,” he found himself answering.
“In the closet?”
“No. In the b… under the bed.” That wasn’t necessarily a lie. The floor hatch was there after all. But he wasn’t about to tell her about his basement dwelling. That was his private world.
She nodded.
“Of course. Silly me. You’re too big to fit in my closet.” She crawled to the side of the bed and leaned over to peek underneath, her bottom up in the air, and her nightgown riding up to the back of her knees. Ben looked away. “Do you have a magic room where you stay down there?”
“I do,” he said again before he could stop himself.
She moved back up on the bed, freckled face bright with excitement. “Can I see?”
“No.”
“Aww. Why not?”
He frowned.
“I’m a boogeyman. I live in a scary place,” he said, cocking his head at her. “Aren’t you scared of me?”
“Nuh-uh.” She shook her head. “My other boogeyman was scarier. He had red eyes, crooked teeth and bad breath.” She attempted a scary face and turned her fingers into pretend claws. “He looked like this.”
Ben was unable to stop a laugh from escaping his throat. She looked positively ridiculous.
Cute, even.
Rey let out a toothy grin.
“I like you, Mr. Boogeyman.” She stood up on the bed, wobbling a little as she put her hands on her narrow hips. “From now on, you and I are going to be friends.”
Ben blinked at her.
“You’re a weird kid.”
“I know,” she mumbled, her arms falling to her sides. “That’s what all the other kids at school tell me all the time.”
“What about your friends? What do they say?”
He saw her lower lip tremble.
“I have no friends.”
“Oh,” he said. He knew he should’ve left it at that, but he was suddenly thrown back to when he was still in school. Isolated. Ostracized. The weird kid who was terrified of crowds.
He was still scared. And this little girl… she was braver than he was. He should be more like her, he thought.
But start small.
“I can be your… f-friend,” he managed to say. “But you have to promise not to tell anyone about me. Not even Plutt.”
“Okay.” Rey grinned. “It’s a deal, Mr. Boogeyman.”
“One more thing.”
“What is it?”
“Call me Ben.”
His therapist had told him to go out and meet people, but he wasn’t quite ready for the going out part yet. Besides, Rey counted as people. That was a step in the right direction.
One small step.
He needed to take more.
And so, he visited her every night. Got to know her schedule and rose out of his basement dwelling before her bedtime. She could hear him slide open the hatch door underneath her bed, so she knew when to expect him. Sometimes, she’d peer down the bed and giggle at how awkward he was climbing out of the opening and sliding out from underneath. It got so they finally decided to move the bed, freeing him of any obstacles.
The first few nights, he just sat on the chair she had in the corner of the small room, talking to her from what he deemed to be a safe distance. She didn’t push for him to come closer. He appreciated that. Appreciated the way she filled the silence with conversations and laughter. Soon, he was conversing with her; nothing really deep, but enjoyable nonetheless.
By the second week, he was sitting on the bed with her, nervously allowing her to touch his hair for the first time.
By the third week, he didn’t know how he had lived for so long without companionship, let alone know the touch of another.
“You have such pretty hair, Ben,” she said, small fingers moving through his strands as she made another braid. “I wish my hair was as pretty as yours.”
“What are you talking about?” he chuckled, looking at her through their reflection from the cabinet mirror across the bed. She was kneeling behind him in one of her too-big nightgowns again, and he wished he could order new clothes for her without alerting Plutt. “Your hair is lovely. I bet I can make it even lovelier.”
“Yeah? How?”
Ben chewed on the inside of his cheek. He had allowed himself to be touched, but had never been the one to initiate. But maybe…
“How about I style your hair for you this time, Rey?”
She raised an eyebrow.
“You know how to style hair?”
“You don’t believe I can do it?”
“I’ll believe it when I see it.” Rey walked around him on her knees, then, to his shock, climbed up his lap until she was seated, her back against his chest as they both faced the mirror. “Okay. Now, prove it.”
Ben swallowed hard. His first instinct was to push her off and run back to his basement, but the fear of losing the only friend he had ever had overridden his fear of physical proximity to another person.
He let out a breath and reached for the brush Rey had left on the bed, then began gently detangling her hair. She needed some proper hair care products instead of whatever crap Plutt put in the bathroom for her to use. Maybe he could give her some of his hair moisturizers.
“What’s it like in your world?” she asked, swaying her dangling feet as he worked. “Do you live with other boogeymen down there?”
“No. Just me.” He continued brushing her hair, his fingers running along her scalp as he separated her hair into three layers. He was still a bit nervous, and it showed in the way he had difficulty putting the ties in her hair. “My world isn’t very different from yours. But yours is nicer.”
“You said your world is a scary place.”
“Did I say that?”
“Yeah. The first time we met. I asked to see your magic room, but you told me it was scary down there.”
Oh. Right. He did tell her that.
“I said that to scare you,” he admitted, tying one of her hair layers in a bun. “I don’t want you to go down there.”
She pouted.
“Why not? You come into my room all the time.”
He tied the second bun.
“I just… don’t want anyone else down there.”
“Not even me?”
“Not even you, Rey,” he said, his voice firm. She stopped swaying her feet. Through the mirror, he could see her expression fall to disappointment. He swallowed. “I’m sorry.”
She shook her head and smiled.
“Don’t be. I’m sorry I’m so pushy.”
“It’s okay.” He tied the last bun and let go of her hair. “All done. What do you think?”
Rey turned her head from side to side, then reached out to touch the three buns behind her head. Her smile grew wider.
“I love it! I think I’ll wear my hair like this from now on. Thank you, Ben.”
“You’re welcome.”
It quickly became a habit, her sitting on his lap. Not that he wanted her to, really. Just that each time he sat on her bed, she would climb up and stay there while they talked. And he probably wouldn’t have minded so much if she wasn’t so fidgety.
“Can you stop moving, please?”
“But I’m not comfortable,” she complained.
“Neither am I. Why can’t you just sit on the bed?” He tried to push her off, but she gripped his thighs and sank down. “Rey…”
“Papa had me sit on his lap all the time, and he never complained.”
“I’m not your father, now, am I?” He gingerly gripped her slim waist and made another attempt to get her off him when she twisted around until she was facing him.
Ben froze. Barely breathed. Her legs were splayed on either side of his thighs, and her crotch was warm against his. And her face was so close, he could see flecks of green in the hazel of her eyes.
“Is this better?” she asked.
He couldn’t speak. Not when she was pressed against him like this.
Close. Too damned close.
He managed a shake of the head.
“Well, I’m comfy now, so I’m staying.” She tightened her legs around him and clung to the fabric of his shirt, the side of her face pressed against his chest.
Ben remained motionless, his hands gripping the comforters. Rey had been really pushy lately. Didn’t really respect his boundaries. But over the course of a few weeks, she had helped him open up more than his therapist had over years of online consultations.
So maybe he needed more of this. Her touch. Her closeness. One more step closer to healing.
Although in this case, it felt more like a leap.
Rey would continue to push his boundaries during his next nightly visits. Continued to make herself comfortable on his lap, until he got used to it.
And actually grew to like it.
He liked that he could see her face when they talked. Grew to tolerate, and eventually enjoyed how touchy-feely she was, running her hands over his hair, tugging at his ears and nose, tracing the moles on his face with a delicate finger…
Yeah. This was nice.
Eventually, he started touching her back. Nothing inappropriate. Just running his fingers through her hair. Holding her in his arms whenever she asked. Entwining his hands with hers.
It was intimate, yeah. But not inappropriate, he thought.
They were doing what close friends did, right? Being all… close .
Because yeah. They were close.
They were each other’s only friend.
“We learned something new in school today,” Rey said while braiding his hair again. He was fully on the bed now, back against the headboard as she sat on his lap, facing him as always, while his hands held her loosely by the hips.
“Oh? What did you learn?”
“We learned all about human reproduction.”
Ben blinked.
“Aren’t you… ah… a little young for that?”
She rolled her eyes.
“I’m already nine. Schools teach this stuff in 4th grade, you know.”
“Mine didn’t. Not until 6th grade, anyway.”
Rey stopped braiding and frowned at him.
“Do boogeymen go to boogeyman schools?”
Boogeyman. Right. She still thought that. In all the times they had talked, he had never once brought up his childhood. It was mostly Rey who did the talking. And he preferred that.
“Yeah, I went to boogeyman school,” he lied. “It’s where they teach us all about humans and how best to scare them.”
She giggled.
“You’re not very good at scaring.”
“I never said I was.”
She giggled again. She stopped braiding his hair and put her arms over his shoulders. His hands involuntarily tightened over her hips.
“I like you, Ben,” she said. “Do you like me?”
“Of course, I like you, Rey.”
“Okay. So we like each other?”
He nodded.
“Yeah. We do.”
She beamed, her face brighter than he had ever seen it.
Then, without warning, she kissed him on the lips.
His eyes widened as heat shot through his veins. He was positively petrified, but Rey seemed to have taken this as encouragement and pressed her lips harder against his, her crotch now bearing down on him.
He was rock hard.
He pushed her away and shot up from the bed. He began to pace, one hand clamped over his jaw. He could still feel the ghost of her lips over his.
He stopped in front of her as she sat on the bed, her hands clasped over her lap.
“Why did you do that, Rey?” he demanded. “Why did you k-kiss me?”
“Because I like you,” she said as if it were the most obvious thing in the world. “And I thought you said you liked me, too.”
“I do, but… not in that way!”
Rey’s lip quivered, and her eyes started to shimmer.
Ben cursed under his breath.
“Rey, do you even realize how wrong that was? I’m an adult. You’re just a kid.”
She didn’t respond. Only stared up at him with those glassy hazel eyes.
She blinked rapidly and sniffled.
“You’re not really a boogeyman… are you, Ben?”
Ben gritted his teeth behind closed lips.
“What are you talking about?”
“You’re too nice to be a boogeyman,” she said, her fingers bunching up the fabric of her nightgown as her hands curled into fists. “My last boogeyman wasn’t.”
Ben’s eyes widened, the wheels in his mind turning and causing his stomach to lurch.
“Rey… were you… did someone touch you?”
“It was the boogeyman,” she insisted. “He controlled Papa sometimes. Made him look ugly and do bad things to me.”
Ben’s hands grabbed at his hair.
What the fuck? What the actual fuck?!
Too much, this was all too much.
He turned and ran for the hatch, ignoring Rey’s calls as he disappeared beneath the floorboards.
He didn’t climb back up to her room. He didn't have the courage to. Not after the stunt she pulled.
Not after he realized how much he liked it.
He liked the feel of her against him, the warmth of her.
He liked how light she was in his arms.
He liked how she could talk incessantly for hours and not bore him.
He liked her smiles. Her laugh. Her dimples and freckles.
He liked Rey.
And the kiss… oh, he liked the kiss. He liked how her small lips pressed against his. And he wondered what it would be like to get his tongue in her mouth.
Fuck .
He was a monster.
Just like her father.
A boogeyman.
He heard her knock on the hatch and call for him sometimes. Heard her try to open it, but he’d made sure to lock it. He didn’t want her going down to see him.
Didn’t want to risk the possibility that he might do something he would regret.
Didn’t want to lose control and kiss her.
Because that was the only thing he could think of these days.
Kissing her.
Touching her.
And he was fast becoming obsessed.
It had gotten to the point that he’d touched himself to the memory of their kiss. Gotten off on it.
God, he was disgusting.
He’d talked to his therapist about it. And she’d encouraged him to explore the relationship, especially since the two of them did like each other. It could be healthy for him, she said, being intimate with someone.
He didn’t tell her Rey was just a 9-year-old little girl with a fucked up childhood.
No. This was far from healthy. His phobias may have taken him away from society, but he knew enough not to mess around with kids.
And Rey… she didn’t deserve a repeat of what happened to her.
She deserved to be cared for.
Nurtured.
Loved .
He needed to find a way to get her away from this place.
Away from him .
He bought a burner phone. He didn’t want to risk getting the anonymous call to CPS traced back to him and have Plutt kick him to the curb. Then, he would ask his mother to use her connections to place Rey with a good family with a proven record in fostering. He and Leia may be estranged, but he knew she would do anything for him, if only to mend their relationship.
He dialed the number and waited.
That was when he heard it.
A whimper. A cry.
Rey.
She sounded like she was in pain.
Immediately, Ben dropped the call and climbed up the stairs leading up to the hatch. He could still hear her groaning on the other side.
He undid the lock and opened the hatch.
And saw Rey writhing on the bed, her nightgown riding up to her hips as her hand worked feverishly between her legs.
She was…
She was touching herself.
He remained motionless in the hatch, mesmerized by how she moved her fingers with purpose. Like she had done this a million times over. She had her eyes closed, her mouth hanging open with her breaths and moans.
He should leave. Give her some privacy.
But then...
“Ben… oh, Ben…”
He made an audible gasp. Rey’s eyes flew open and met his.
She screamed.
He quickly lunged forward and dashed for the bed, his hand clamping over Rey’s jaw to muffle her screams.
“Shhh, shhh, we don’t want Plutt to hear.”
She nodded against his hand, and he let go.
“You… you came back,” she croaked.
“I thought you were hurt.” He looked away when he saw her nightgown was still over her skinny hips. Still leaving her exposed. “I didn’t know you were just…”
“I’m sorry,” she mumbled, and thankfully pulled her nightgown down. “It’s just that sometimes… sometimes my kitty aches and I need to…”
He winced.
“Don’t call it that.”
“But it’s what Papa called it.”
His vision went white with anger.
He was going to kill that man.
Rey whimpered again. He turned and saw her squirming and pressing her thighs together.
“B-Ben… can you… I was so close. I need…”
He knew what she was asking for even without her fully saying it. He could see it in her needy eyes. The way her hands clutched at the hem of her nightgown.
Any sane man with a decent moral compass would say no.
But he’d never been right in the head.
And decent men didn’t masturbate to little girls.
He licked his lips.
“What do you want me to do?”
He shouldn’t be seeing her again. He should put a stop to this madness.
But he didn’t.
Night after night, he climbed up to her room and into her bed.
Night after night, he touched her the way she wanted. Flicked her clit and finger-fucked her the way she had taught him as she sat sideways on his lap, legs spread open, while he leaned down to press his lips to hers.
Part of him knew she was reliving some traumatic memory; the difference was, she was in control. He made sure she was. He never touched or kissed or did anything to her unless it was what she wanted. He was just an instrument. A tool for her pleasure. He never even dared touch himself until after she had gone to sleep, and he had gone back to his lair. Everything he did, he did solely for her benefit.
Because…
Because he loved her now.
Would do anything for her.
Deprive himself for her.
Let her take whatever she wanted.
Give all of himself to her.
And if all he got was her crying out his name after every orgasm he gave her, then, it was enough.
It was more than enough.
“Can I see your cock?”
It was the most jarring thing he had ever heard from this nine-year-old’s mouth.
Ben stared at her. He had already made her orgasm twice, and despite him pulling down his sweatshirt, the bulge in his pants was impossible to ignore.
“I want to see it,” Rey insisted. “I’ve never seen one in real life.”
His eyebrows rose to his forehead.
“But I thought… with your dad…”
“He only got me to touch him through his clothes before they took me away.”
“So you’ve… never seen an actual cock?”
She shook her head.
“No. And I want yours to be the first.”
He felt his chest puff up.
Felt excitement spike in his veins.
Then, he unzipped his pants and slowly took out his erect member.
“Oh!” Rey gasped, small hands framing her face. “I didn’t know it could get that big.”
His lip curled up to a smirk, his cock twitching in his hand. He shouldn’t be this excited to see a little girl’s reaction to seeing his cock for the first time.
He really was sick in the head.
Or just really in love with Rey.
“Can I touch it?” she asked.
His cock twitched again, his mouth so dry, it was hard to swallow.
“Only if you want to, sweetheart.”
Little curious touches turned to purposeful caresses. Rey was a quick learner. Eager to please. He’d told her countless times she didn’t have to, but she assured him she wanted it. Sometimes he thought she wanted it more than he did.
And so he let her. He let her play with his dick while they kissed, tongues now bravely venturing into each other’s mouths. She let him tug and stroke him oh so sweetly with her small hands while his large fingers delved into her tight little hole.
She would always be so wet. Practically gushing.
She had squeaked in surprise the first time he came in her hand. He had apologized profusely for being unable to hold back, but he would soon realize she was far from scared. If anything, seeing him orgasm had excited her. Made her determined to make him cum as much as he had made her cum.
She was generous, his little Rey.
And that made him love her all the more.
The first time Rey put her mouth on his cock, he had cum almost instantly. They had a good laugh about it, and after a bit of practice, he had learned to delay his orgasm while she had learned to control her gag reflex.
He had put his mouth on her pussy too. Experimented on how to swirl and plunge his tongue in the right way until he turned her into a sobbing heap of limp limbs.
Sometimes, they did it at the same time; him lying down in the bed, with his mouth between her legs while she sucked and choked so beautifully on his cock.
Eventually he found he preferred taking turns. They had time anyway, now that he practically slept in her room, leaving only at the crack of dawn before Plutt came to wake Rey up for breakfast.
They still talked. Particularly after, when they were still basking in the afterglow of their orgasms.
She talked about school and how she’d started making friends again.
He talked about his online gigs, doing his best to not make it sound so boring to her.
They talked about almost anything.
Neither ventured into talking about the future.
And Ben preferred that.
He preferred to live in the moment with Rey.
“For the last time, Rey, no.”
“Why not?” she whined.
“Because… like I’ve said a million times, you’re still too young. I’m too big and you’re too small. I could actually hurt you.”
“But we’ve been practically kissing and stuff every night already. What’s one more step?”
Ben’s eye twitched. He and Rey had been going back and forth on this issue for a few days now. And he had shot her down each time.
“Why do you want to have sex so bad?”
“Because it’s going to be with you,” she said empathically. His heart skipped a beat when she crawled to where he was seated on the bed and wrapped her arms around his shoulders. “And that’s what’s going to make it so special for me.”
He swallowed thickly when her lips found its way to the side of his neck. Oh, this girl knew his sensitive spots.
He pulled away and took her hands in his.
“Rey… it’s not that I don’t want to have sex with you. God knows I want to. But you’re better off waiting for… for someone your own age. When you’re a bit older. Don’t waste any more of yourself on an old man like me.”
Rey let go of him.
“Are you breaking up with me?”
“What? No. Never.”
“Never?” She cocked her head, lips trembling in a clear effort to hide a smile. “So you still see us together in the future?”
“I… I don’t know,” he answered honestly. “I’ve never really thought far ahead about anything.”
“Oh.” Her shoulders sagged. She looked disappointed.
He cupped her face in his palms.
“Rey… a lot can still happen in the coming months. I don’t even know if you’ll still be here. What if you’ll be put in another foster home?”
“Which is why I want to have sex with you now while we still can.” She insisted. Petulant. Like the child she was. “Ben… we can do it just once. Just once, and I’ll never ask for it again.”
“You know that isn’t possible.” He shook his head and let go of her. “Once we have sex, I won’t be able to stop.”
“Then don’t.” She moved to straddle his lap, and his arms instinctively went around her waist. “All my life, I’ve never really had a choice until you. I chose to be with you. Let me choose you for this too.”
Ben sighed. Rey really knew the right words to wear him down.
“I’ll think about it.”
The shock of seeing his reclusive tenant outside his basement room almost made Plutt trip and fall down the stairs. He managed to right himself in time, though not before dropping some of the items from the paper bag he had been carrying.
“Jesus, boy. You almost gave me a heart attack.”
“Sorry,” Ben apologized, and began picking up the fallen items. “I heard noises upstairs and got curious.”
“I’m throwing a birthday party for my foster kid. She just turned ten,” Plutt informed and handed over the bag. “Don’t want the agency thinking I’m being neglectful again. She’s the longest placement I’ve had so far.”
Ben smiled.
Plutt scratched his head, clearly at a loss for words. Ben only ever communicated with him via email or text before this, so it must be weird for the man to even see him. Even weirder for Ben was how he didn’t feel as anxious as he had expected to be talking to someone other than Rey.
Plutt eyed the paper bag, which was now in Ben’s arms.
“You… ah… got a date tonight or something?”
Ben raised an eyebrow.
“Why do you ask?”
“Saw the uh… the lube,” Plutt said, his face growing red as he dropped his voice to a whisper, even though no one was within earshot. “Look. I don’t mind you bringing girls over. But try not to make a racket, will you? My foster kid sleeps above the basement.”
Ben laughed.
“I’ll try to keep things quiet.”
“You’re going to show me your room?” Rey asked incredulously. She still tasted of cake and ice cream when they had made out earlier.
“Mmhmm.” Ben smiled while leading her to the hatch and down the stairs. He had kept the lights off for a surprise, but he knew his way around. Rey didn’t, so he was careful in guiding her down, making sure she didn’t trip and hurt herself.
Then, he flicked on the switch.
Rey’s hands flew to her mouth as she gasped and looked around. There wasn’t much to see in his room, really. Just a bed, his own private bathroom and kitchen area, his computer workstation and a shelf of books. But he had bought fairy lights and strung it strategically over the ceiling, making it seem like they were under a sky full of stars.
“It looks so magical,” Rey said in awe as she spun around to admire his handiwork.
He stepped closer.
“You did mention to me that you want to make love under the stars, so…”
She stopped turning and looked at him with wide eyes.
“You mean…”
His smile grew wider as he reached out to cup her face and give her the sweetest kiss he could muster.
“Happy birthday, Rey.”
That night would be a night of firsts for both of them.
Their first time making out and petting each other in his room.
Their first time touching and caressing each other in his bed.
Their first time to be completely naked in front of each other.
“You’re jacked,” Rey murmured in admiration, running delicate fingers over his chest and abs as he hovered above her.
“And you’re so small,” he responded, one hand propping himself up, the other running along her ribs, her flat abdomen and her equally flat chest, flicking her barely-there nipple. She moaned. “So damned young…”
That should have been a deterrent, seeing how underdeveloped her body was. But Ben… he liked it. He knew it was sick, but he liked how tiny she was compared to him. Liked how he could engulf her with his body, and she would just disappear.
Most of all, he liked it because it was Rey.
The love of his life.
His angel.
His savior.
Rey moaned again when he leaned down to suck on the non-existent swell of her breast, his hand now reaching between her legs to plunge two fingers into her tight wet hole.
He took his time with her. Worked his way into her until she was able to take in three fingers with little to no discomfort, though he’d had to apply a bit of lube before he was able to do so.
Time passed by in slow, delicious increments. By the time he’d pulled Rey into her first orgasm for the night, her lips and breasts were red from his mouth’s attention, his fingers pruned, and his bedsheets smelled of her.
He parted her pussy lips with his thumbs. Her muscles were relaxed, and he’d stretched her more than he ever had in their many encounters.
It was time.
He grabbed the bottle of lube and poured copious amounts over his cock and over her hairless pussy, pushing the slippery substance into her hole with his thick fingers to ensure an easy glide inside. His heart pounded as he made the tip of his cock kiss her engorged clit, which made her arch her back and keen.
“Ben…”
“Rey…” He swallowed, moving his cock down to tease her hole. He did an experimental push, sweat dripping down his forehead when he realized he could barely get the tip in. “Rey… last chance to back out.”
She shook her head vigorously and looked at him through hooded eyes.
“I want this.” She panted. “Make love to me, Ben.”
He felt his heart swell and his eyes burn. He blinked rapidly, and focused his attention between them, where his cock still remained just outside her entrance.
He grabbed his shaft, and after a deep breath, guided himself in. He could feel her walls resist at the intrusion. Could see the discomfort in her scrunched up expression.
“Rey… I…”
“Don’t stop,” she begged. “I can take it. Please, Ben.”
He nodded, then carried on working his way into her, making shallow thrusts and gradually opening her up some more. He poured more lube and thumbed her clit to help her along, groaning with every inch he gained. She was tighter than he ever imagined she would be, and he had to exert extreme self-control not to cum right there and then.
It took several more minutes of shallow, controlled thrusting before he was finally buried up to the hilt. He let out a shaky breath and leaned in to plant kisses all over Rey’s face.
“You did it, sweetheart. You took all of me.”
“I… I did?”
“Yes.” He pulled out a few centimeters and pushed back in, making them both groan at the same time. “Fuck, you feel so good. Does it still hurt?”
“A little. But it also feels good,” she said breathlessly, then keened again when Ben made another thrust. “I can feel so much of you…”
“Me too,” he whispered as he made another lazy thrust. And another. And another; his eyes constantly on Rey’s face to read her expressions until he could see her cheeks flushed with pleasure.
He moved in and out of her in gentle waves, careful not to crush her under his weight. She was so small, she could barely wrap her arms and legs around him, her ear pressed to his chest as he continued to delve into her folds. He hoped she could hear how hard his heart was beating.
How it was beating for her and only her.
Languid thrusting soon gave way to urgent humping, the bed creaking and the headboard ramming against the wall, making some of the fairy lights shake and twinkle. Ben folded himself so he could kiss her, their moans and pants echoing through the basement. He was getting close. But he’d be damned if Rey didn’t cum before he did.
After one more kiss, he propped himself up, then snaked one hand between them to fondle her clit.
“Ben! Ah !”
“I want you to cum first,” he whispered urgently, flicking and thumbing her just how she liked it. “Cum on my cock, Rey.”
In moments, she did. And it was beautiful the way her mouth hung open with her cries of ecstasy; the way her young body shook beneath him as her orgasm hit her; the way her walls fluttered and squeezed around his cock until he too, shouted at his release, his spend leaking out from her overstuffed hole and into the bedsheets.
He was still shaking when he took her in his arms and turned her over so she could lie down on his chest, his cock still buried deep inside her little cunt. She rose and fell with his heavy breaths, her finger drawing invisible hearts on his skin.
“Ben?”
“Yes, Rey?”
“I love you.”
He looked down at her and saw a look of utmost adoration in her face.
And he liked that.
He would like to see that look on her face.
Every day.
For the rest of his life.
He swallowed back a sob.
“I love you too, Rey.”
“Merry Christmas, Reyanna.”
“I told you, Grandma. You can just call me Rey.” The girl giggled as the older woman peppered her winter-reddened cheeks with kisses.
Leia beamed, then turned to her son, who entered the house with an arm load of presents.
“Let me help you, Benjamin.”
Ben rolled his eyes.
“If you’re going to call Rey by her nickname, can’t you do the same for me? You only ever called me by my real name if I did something wrong.”
“And you did, Benjamin Solo.” Leia took some of the presents off his arms and walked over to the tree, where Rey was admiring some of the crystal ornaments. “I told you not to buy too many presents. This is a lot more than last year.”
“It’s to make up for lost time, Mom,” he said, then leaned down to pick Rey up, her arms and legs instantly around him.
Leia let out a small smile. Ben had made the call and been the one to essentially rescue Rey from a horrible foster placement. Leia had used old political connections to pull all the strings to ensure Rey would be placed with her son.
That had been a little over two years ago. Ben had since legally adopted Rey, and life could not be better. Ben had mostly gotten over his agoraphobia, gotten a stable job, a new place, and had patched things up with her. Leia attributed all that to Rey.
She was a blessing, this little angel. The granddaughter she never thought she would have. She only wished Han were still alive to experience this.
“Anyway, Mom, Rey and I are going to rest for a bit. Shopping’s really tiring,” Ben said, interrupting her musings. “We’ll be down in an hour.”
Leia felt a familiar sliver of dread as she watched her only son carry her adopted granddaughter up the stairs. There was always something about the way he held her, the way they looked at each other that made her gut twist a little.
“Ben?” she called once they had reached the second landing.
Ben peered down the banister.
“Yes, Mom?”
Leia’s mouth tightened into a fine line when she saw Rey kiss Ben’s cheek. The way the child’s lips lingered at the corner of his mouth. The subtle tightening of her legs around his torso. The flush in both their faces.
This was far from the first time she had witnessed their displays of affection. She had always told herself they were just close.
Very close.
Maybe a little too close.
She started to speak. But then she remembered life before Rey came to their lives.
She never wanted to go back to that. Ever.
Rey… she was good for Ben.
And he was good for her.
Leia sighed.
“I’ll have dinner ready by the time you two get down.”
“Okay, Mom. Thanks.”
“Love you, Grandma.”
“Love you too, little angel.”
THE END
