Chapter Text
“Crowley! Are you hearing what I’m saying?”
Crowley eyes snapped up, looking at the angel’s face.
No, he had indeed not heard anything, Aziraphale was saying. He was too focused on watching her hand movements – or rather the fine, white lace gloves, that the angel was wearing that night. Those gloves that made his inside spike up in flames, hot shivers running down his spine. He swallowed, lowered his sunglasses and fixed his eyes on Aziraphale’s, his yellow irises sparkling with a certain desire, who in return let her mouth fall open in a slight “o” shape, before tilting her head, smirking knowingly.
“Go on, then.”, she said and put one hand in the middle of the little bar table.
Crowley’s heart rate went up, as he, while never leaving her gaze, gently took her hand into his, brought it forward to his face and sank his lips onto the lace, putting a quick kiss on the back of her hand. The angel softly sighed and slowly batted her thick eyelashes, holding the other hand slightly up in the air, ready to snap.
“Bookshop?”
Crowley held his breath a moment, before answering.
“Bookshop.”
Not a second later they were gone.
