Mike escapes the Cupcake by shocking it with his cattle prod. He runs out into the main party room. “Abby! Where did you go?” Mike hears a clattering noise behind him. “Abby?” Mike calls out into the darkness, begging to both Abby and himself that she is there and safe. Two glowing white eyes shine in the darkness. Mike, stunned, steps back. The figure in the hallway doesn’t move and looks now directly at Mike.
“...Abby?” The figure slowly emerges from the shadows. Their head steeped in a rotting yellow, voice raspy and mechanical, and their mouth gapped ajaw. The figure’s head twists to the right. After what seemed like an intense silence, a distorted voice through the depths of the suit cuts the clutter of metal scraps and heavy footsteps.
“Hello Michael.” The familiar bunny-creature then charges at Mike. Mike tries to electrocute the approaching creature with his taser, but he sees no effect. He is then knocked onto the ground, and hits his head on the ground. He recalls the yellow rabbit holding hands with the 5 kids, the bunny drawn by the ghost in his dreams, the yellow bunny in Vanessa’s drawing.
“My god, y-you’re.”
“The one and only, William Afton.”
“You killed those 5 kids, killed my brother.”
“Ah yes, Garett, wasn’t it? Do you ever wonder where Garett went? What happened to him?” Afton chuckles. “Maybe if you were a better runner, better brother, you would have caught him.”
Mike, shedding a few tears of anger, grief, and rage stands back up.
“It wasn’t my fault. You wouldn’t know anything about that anyways.”
“Oh but I do, my dearest Michael. You ever wonder what happened after your father left you and your sister behind? Those fools who kept haggling for ‘Abby’s’ custody couldn’t salvage even a simple tribulation like that.”
"Keep your filthy hands off of her,” Michael angrily shouts at Afton. Why do you want Abby?”
“Michael Schmitt; if that is your real name. I don’t want Abby, I wanted you and Abby together, all in one place. In fact, Garett isn’t even dead. He’s right here.” A lifeless Freddy stomps forward. But, it looks different than the Freddy on stage. The eyes are hollow, nothing but a glowing red light. It looks worn down. The ears are damaged and wires are exposed with a yellow tinge over the entirety of the suit instead of deep brown, matching Afton’s suit.
“Vanessa thought she was simply driving Garett to Fazbear’s but she never realized she was just leading him to his death. After we came back from the picnic, my ‘job related matter’ was to go to the Pizzeria. It was then I stuffed those 5 children, including Garett. I stuffed Garett in Fredbears costume. My favorite child in an original animatronic. But this Fredbear costume acted differently, all of the animatronics were. Yes, they are inside of the suits in more ways than one. Now I am going to complete the trifecta of my animatronic children”
“This is insane. You can’t be saying…”
“Welcome back to the family, Michael Afton.” Vanessa bursts through the back entrance, searching for Abby.
“Abby? Where are you?” Abby, hidden in the ball pit, stays quiet to not alert Foxy peeking over at her. Foxy then in a flash snatches Abby out of the ball pit by her face. Abby tries to scream but it's muted by the metal pressing in front of her mouth. As Foxy is about to drag Abby away, Vanessa quickly runs in and stabs Foxy with her cattle prod. Abby is dropped from Foxy’s grasp as Vanessa catches Abby.
“Abby, you need to go.”
“I can’t, Mike is in trouble and I need to save him!”
“Abby, I will help him, all he wants for you is that you are safe.” Vanessa hides Abby in a vent, as she runs off toward Mike and Afton. Through the vent grate, Abby can see Foxy’s eyes flicker from on and off, but each off state doesn’t have a red or even shut down eye, but rather a hollowed black void with a single small dot of light in the middle, staring at her.
“Why would you kill your own son? Why do you want to kill your family?” Mike pleads to Afton.
“Kill? Garett is right here, he’s able to possess this animatronic suit just as the other kids were able to do. Once you and Elizabeth, or I’m sorry, ‘Abby’ are stuffed, we will all be a happy family that can live forever.”
“Go to hell.”
“Don’t you see the opportunity? We’re finally all together again since I lost custody of you and Elizabeth. We can relive that picnic again or a family party forever, and you decline? What a ridiculous waste. So be it. You were always my least favorite child.” Afton charges at Michael again and slams him through a table. Afton stands over Michael, raising his knife in anticipation of stabbing him.
“If you don’t want to live, then I guess you’ll have to die!”
“William.” A feminine and striking voice echoes throughout the pizzeria. Afton turns around.
“Vanessa? What are you doing here? Didn’t I tell you to let Michael and Abby come to the Pizzeria?” Vanessa is standing in the doorway, holding her gun drawn and pointed at Afton.
“I won’t let you do this. I won’t let you harm Michael or Abby. You said they were dead. You tricked me with Garett, but now I will start to make amends.” Afton cackles and coughs.
“I know you won’t shoot me. Are you saying you want to stand in my way? Fine then. You think I’ll stop because my adopted daughter says so?” Afton laughs more and the lights flicker off. Vanessa in a panic fires her gun and her muzzle flash illuminates a brief area where you see Afton stand in the same place. The camera pans to Vanessa’s face looking scared and her heavy breathing. Then it cuts to a first person view of Vanessa looking around. She turns behind her and turns on her flashlight. The moment she turns on the flashlight, Springbonnie jumpscares Vanessa. Abby looks at Mike on the floor and unhinges the vent cover she runs over to him.
“Mike! Mike, are you okay? Mike stains to get up and then looks at Abby. “Abby, are you hurt?”
“I’m fine but what about you? Are you fine?”
“Listen, I’m sorry for letting you into the Pizzeria, and I’m sorry for putting you in danger. I want you to leave and just make sure you’re safe.”
“I’m not leaving my friends, and I’m not leaving you behind,” Abby tearfully tells Mike.
“You’ll die here if you don’t go now.”
“I think I know how to fix my friends, Mike. When Foxy was shocked, their eyes changed from looking evil.” Mike thinks back to the breaker room. It overrides the electronics in the building started by the generator. Perhaps he needs to go there?
“You might be right. Stay here and hide, I’ll try to flip the emergency power.” Abby nods and runs back to her hiding spot while Mike runs to the back of the pizzeria as the animatronics begin waking up again and following after Mike, this time with their eyes glowing a bright red. He runs and hears the animatronics slowly inching towards him as he checks each different room for a breaker. When he reaches the door, Mike takes a sigh of relief. A side-angle shot of Mike catching his breath is interrupted by Freddy grabbing his arm. He pulls Mike away from the door and tosses him away. Mike is then grabbed by the shoulders and is about to be bit on the head. He panics and starts hyperventilating but Mike quickly shuffles in his pockets and pulls out a taser from earlier and shocks him and Freddy. Freddy falls to the floor, dropping Mike. He quickly slides into the room and once he does, he hears the others bang and scratch the door. Mike boards it up the best he can with props found around the room and looks for the switch. He grabs the lever and sees visions of the day Garett was kidnapped. Determined and gritting his teeth, he strenuously pulls the lever, causing a blackout in the entire pizzeria.
The pizzeria’s bright atmosphere turns dark as Afton looks around in confusion.
He utters “Oh no.” The toreador march plays in the darkness as a spinning shot shows him looking around at the darkness as he keeps saying “no no no no."
It stops on him looking straight forward. The emergency lights turn on as the shot lingers on Afton as Freddy appears with hollow black eyes with singular white pupils staring at the camera, then looks at Afton. 3 more sets of eyes appear in the dark as well in the same style as Freddy and all of them look at Afton. Afton then turns around.
“I control you, I control you all! Why are you turning on me?” The animatronics don’t respond, and begin to slowly walk towards Afton. Afton laughs.
“As long as I wear this stupid costume, none of you can hurt me. You can’t even touch me in my spring bonnie suit.” The same yellow bear costume appears on screen. At this point, Freddy, Bonnie, Chica, and Foxy are all watching Afton as the Fredbear suit in the middle and front directly stares at Afton. Afton jumps back in shock and fear.
*CRUNCH*
A large snap echoes out in the pizzeria. Mike stumbles back into the room to see Afton fall onto the floor in pain. A larger snap and crunch noise happens and now Afton is screaming in pain. Afton drops to the floor, slumped over with his back up to a wall. The camera does a transition where it is on the left side behind Afton and slowly moves to the right, where the animatronics turn into their children forms as Afton’s body covers the transition. The children, not as animatronics, then drag Afton’s body to a backroom. Mike calls an ambulance for Vanessa and gives Abby a hug, as they embrace leaving the pizzeria.
“It’s me.” Mike, confused, turns around and sees Garett staring at him. Mike and Garett exchange a tearful wave at each other as Garett turns away and walks back into the pizzeria.
The ending shot after credits scene in the movie shows the backroom of Afton coughing and struggling to live. He shakes in pain and notices Garett staring at him. He smiles and chuckles as Garett begins closing the door on him.
“This will not be the end of me. *cough cough*. I always come back.”
Afton then begins to laugh more as the light in his eyes fade and the door slams shut.
