Hope changed into wolf and has been dashing through the woods, she has been running for the past 10 minutes to an unsure destination. Her life has become like a circle, after she gained her humanity back. She tried everything to gain everyone's trust back, and it has been going slowly. Except for her friends, the remaining students still see her like an, abomination .
She spent the entire day helping Alaric, with fighting monsters and nights, in her room, alone. Months went by, and it's been the same all time. Even though Lizzie wanted to talk or wanted to join Hope to a party, Hope turned her down, because the guilty of turning Lizzie into a vampire, still eating her out. Lizzie might forgive her, but she can't forgive herself. Hope likes Lizzie, but she couldn't bring herself to express it, she thought she was not the right person for her, so she kept pushing Lizzie away, even though it hurts Hope to see the sad look on Lizzie's face.
After what happened with Landon, Hope doesn't want to get close to anyone, keeping her distance from Lizzie hard enough, along with that she started liking a new guy. His name is Ren, a new recruit, he is a witch. He is one of those people, who doesn't see Hope like a monster and His smile is so cute . Hope can stare at the smile all day if she gets a chance. He was her partner in a few classes, as much as Hope wanted to avoid, he grew up on her, just like Lizzie. But Hope managed to avoid both of them, very well. Even though it hurts them, it hurts her .
Hope thought, as the time went by she could move on, from Lizzie and Ren, but today, she saw them, the two people she likes the most, Ren and Lizzie kissing. They are so happy, the way they smile at each other, Hope wants to be happy for them.
They deserve to be with someone better than me, I am glad they found each other. Hope kept repeating those words in her mind, but her heart aches everytime the image of them kissing pops in her mind. Can't I ever be happy? That question hurts her the most. So, she decided to take a run, bolting aimlessly .
Her run comes to a halt, when she sees Ren sitting near by the lake, alone . What is he doing here at this time? She let her intrusive thoughts win, and she decides to check on him.
Ren jolts when he notices her presence, he huffs out, holding his heart, Hope growls at him trying to be intimidated.
'Who are you?' Ren smiles, extending his hand out. Hope wants to leave, but, 'It is okay', He beckons his hand, asking her to come closer, 'I am not going to hurt you', Those words, made Hope move close to him. She approaches him, and he reaches out to run his hands through her fur.
Hope sits down next to him, laying his head in her lap, 'Okay', Ren laughs, kept running his hand in her fur.
They stay in silence for a few minutes, Ren stops petting her, Hope raises her head to look at him, He looks sad . Hope nudges his hand, and whines when Ren looks at her with a smile, 'I am so sorry, There is a lot going in my life', Ren breathes out heavily, 'And I don't know what -', He stops abruptly, releasing a sigh.
Hope tilts her head curiously, as if asking him to tell her more , 'I like someone, her name is Hope, Hope Mikaelson', Hope's heart could have stopped if it's beating, 'She is one of the most beautiful girl in the world, she's smart, caring, she's a hero ', her heart leaps at the excitement in his voice, 'But, she's pushing me away, I thought I did something wrong', Hope wants to turn back, and explain everything to him, but he goes on, '-And then Lizzie told me what Hope went through, and to be honest, I just wish she gives me one chance, but there is another problem now',
What is it? Hope tilts her head to other side, wagging her tail, 'I like Lizzie too, and she's just like Hope, but Hope is a bit clam and Lizzie is a bit skittish, and today we kissed, Me and Lizzie', Ren's face turns sad again, 'As much as I like Lizzie, I want to talk to her about my feelings for Hope, so that she won't get mad when she found at some point, but I just wish Hope gives me a chance, you know I heard Lizzie likes her too', The excitement in his voice is back again.
'So I hope Hope gives me a change, both of us a chance , but I know it's not possible, it's hard for her to let someone in after what she has been through, I -', Ren shrugs helplessly, 'I have to talk to Lizzie about my feelings for Hope first, I hope Lizzie forgives me'.
Hope stares at his face intently, as his ranting ends, 'What?' Ren laughs, ruffling her fur, 'Hey, Where are you going?' He frowns, as Hope gets up and moves back a few steps.
Hope thought about it a lot, and she made a decision, Ren stands up, eyes widening as Hope transforms back to her human form.
Hope looks at Ren with a smii, and Ren stares at her in a shock, His eyes immediately shift away from her, 'Hope, you are -', He clears his throat, Hope can see his cheeks getting red, '- naked '.
'Then you better get used to it', Hope grins, moves until she stands in front of him, 'Because -', She cups his cheek, turns his head to look into his eyes, she leans up and captures his lips in a tender kiss.
Hope pulls back after a few seconds, 'Wow, I - You - Lizz-', Ren stutters, still dazed.
'We need to talk, Yeah', Hope smiles, pressing her forehead to his, they need to talk. She, Lizzie and Ren, all the three of them need to talk, 'But, for now, Can we just - stay here', she bites her lip, looking at him hopefully.
'Sure', Ren nods, sitting back on the ground. Hope lays down again, with her hand in his lap. She relaxes, when he soothingly grazes her hair.
Soon, she falls asleep, followed by Ren.

Unbeknownst to them, They failed to notice that Lizzie is watching them from distance, leaning against a tree, with a biggest smile on her face ,
I can't wait to talk to them.
