Chapter Text
Miguel thought he had gotten complete control of his body after his “mutation”, took pride in it even, how after going through so much, and even with being so different from all the other Spider-Men, he was able to control himself and his abilities so well. And then you had to come around and fuck it all up.
You’d only joined the spider society a few months ago, so you weren’t even that involved in major missions yet, but to him it felt like everything had been turned sideways. Something about you sent his circuits into override. The way your hair would sway and bounce as you swung by, and how you moved like water in the air, fluid and natural, as if you'd been doing this your whole life. You on the ground wasn’t any better, so poised and perfect with every step, he’d give anything to see you trip just one time, and maybe that would finally get him out of this trance you had somehow casted upon him.
Oh god and the way you smelled. The first time he had noticed it, the reaction was visceral, he’d never felt anything like it. You had walked into his office to hand him your first monthly activity report, a simple task really, and usually done digitally, it made things much easier for him to keep track of. But of course you didn’t know that, so there you were, clueless, clinging the almost pitifully small file to your chest, taking small, mindful steps towards his lowered platform.
He had his back turned to you, busy as always, and seemingly frustrated, so once you’d reached the platform, you paused, realizing you didn’t know what to do next. You’d only ever seen Miguel in action, and never just standing around working, let alone see someone else talk to the beast of a man. You stood there contemplating what you should say for an embarrassingly long time, especially for what you eventually thought of to say.
“Ah..Excuse me, O’hara, sir?” you puttered softly.
Of course, he already knew someone was there. Even though he didn’t have the same “spider-sense” that everyone else did, his natural senses and instincts had been somewhat heightened since he’d gotten his powers. He’d planned on simply ignoring whoever it was all together if he could, he had better things to do. But once he realized it was you standing behind him, he paused and his back stiffened, things had changed a little bit. It was a small reaction, and he’d prayed you didn’t notice his change in demeanor. He looked over his shoulder at you to see your almost shaking form, relief washing over, realizing that you’re probably too scared to even notice.
“What is it?” he said coolly, not even turning his body towards you, all while sending a glare your way. It wasn’t cold or angry, maybe just a little bit peeved at best.
“I have the uh..my monthly report. I was told to write it all out and give it to you at the end of each month.” you said while indicating to the folder in your hand, which you had finally detached from your body, in hopes of just quickly handing it over and leaving just as fast.
He looked to you, then to the sad brown folder you held so delicately, like you were afraid he’d snatch it from you like a bird. It actually shocked him a little how scared you were of him. He saw the way you acted around the other spider people, very playful and almost aloof, but never undignified. And yet here you were, like a mouse cornered and sorry. He didn’t know if he liked that his standing affected you so much, but turned fully towards your form finally in order to get a better view of you as he spoke.
“Ah, mhm, is this a different monthly report, one that maybe I don’t know about yet, or, maybe, is this the monthly report I specifically ask every time to be sent digitally?” He moved towards you slowly while he talked, making you feel smaller with every step.
“Oh sh..no I, god i’m so sorry I genuinely didn’t know! I should have figured but I didn’t know where to send it or even really how, like if there's some weird spider-docs I should be a part of or maybe something else I…” He knew that if he let you continue, you'd probably go on forever, making you stay here forever, which he absolutely could not have.
“Hey hey, it’s fine, okay? I'm not going to punish you for printed paperwork. Just send it correctly from now on, I'll have someone show you how to do it later today. And in the meantime…” He said as he firmly took the folder from your hands. “This will work. I’ll import it into the system for you, since it shouldn’t take too long anyway.” he said with a hint of judgment.
Your face changed at the slight dig, going from scared to maybe a little…annoyed? Hurt? You didn’t even really know, but your ego was effectively bruised, and now you were just standing there, clueless of what to do next.
“You’re free to go, unless there’s something else you need?” Miguel stated plainly, noticing your plight of awkward unknowingness.
“No, nothing else. Thank you though for your time, and for putting my report in for me, I really do appreciate it.” He didn’t respond to your thanks, only giving you a nod of approval to leave, of which you did with haste, and opening a portal almost immediately after you’d turned the corner to presumably return to your respective universe.
After you left, he triggered the platform to begin its ascension so he could be at peace while he worked, and went to open your folder to quickly input your report for the month. He wasn’t just saying it would be quick to make you feel bad, it was also a fact, your report was pathetically small.
But when he opened the folder to skim the first page, that's when he noticed it, the smell. He’d seen this little paper folder as it clung to your skin, so of course a little bit of you would rub off on it, and god it was heaven. The only other times he’d seen you was from afar, and even just now you were only close to him for a second, but even from a distance he couldn’t understand how someone could miss that exultant scent.
He sat down as he breathed it in, a strangely euphoric thrill rushing through him. It felt warm and vicious. To describe your smell would be a triumph, the right words hadn’t been written yet, but he would try anyway. It was rich like black orchids after rain, with the sweetness being clouded by a sensual yet subtle smoke.
You smelled in the way that whiskey burned, borderline sickening, yet dangerously addictive.
This gleeful haze left him unaware of just how much he liked this, how much he liked you, until it was too late. He came back to reality to feel that his groin had grown painfully hard, begging for release, for anything. His platform had been raised to the highest possible level for some time now, he’d had enough privacy here, right? God this was disgusting.
He hated that he couldn’t help his more animalistic instincts now. He missed the days when his simple office attractions could be so easily hidden, or at worst saved for a more appropriate time and setting, when he had some sense of control over his own body.
All of that was gone now though as he quickly made part of his spider-suit fizzle away, allowing his dick freedom at last. He grasped it quickly, lubricating only with the small bit of pre-cum that’d leaked out already.
As he moved his arm quickly, one hand full of himself and the other gripping the side of the chair, ripping it slightly with his clawed finger tips, he closed his eyes and thought only of you.
He thought of you underneath him, your warm, soft body pressed to his, with one of your hands placed at the base of his neck, while the other would be scratching at his back, searching for a place to rest. He wanted to know what you’d feel like, inside and out, if your hands were soft and gentle, or calloused and weathered in the same ways his were. He wanted to know if your pussy would quiver and clench as he plunged into you.
And he imagined his face, buried in the crevice of your neck, drowning in that smell, heaving it in and out, never quite getting enough. His teeth ached at the thought of your skin, tender and plush against his steely cold fangs. He wanted to engulf you and you him, to drown and be drowned all at once. He needed you.
The thought was finally enough to push him over the edge, allowing him to cum all over his own stomach. And as his high began to melt away, the fog filling his brain faded, allowing him to realize how truly fucked he was.
While this facility wasn’t the most conventional of work spaces, he was still technically your boss, and not only that, but he didn’t know you, which meant he couldn’t possibly like you in a real way. He was driven purely by lust and not love or even a general likeness, and that made him feel sick.
You are a person, not his next meal, and he can’t allow himself to think of you that way, no matter how much he wants to.
After he got himself cleaned up and decent once again, he closed the folder and pushed it far away from himself. He’d get someone else to input your report, he didn't want it anywhere near him out of fear he might try and take it home.
His thoughts raced over what he’d done and what he should do now, but one thing was very clear in his head, he had to stay far away from you.
