"Good morning, Neuvillette! Shall we go have a treat for your good work yesterday?"
With a jolt, Neuvillette opened his eyes to the warm morning with the echo of someone who was no longer there ringing in his ears.
After all, the person with that familiarly warm and cheerful voice had chosen to move out after delegating her duties to him.
