Work Text:
Bill Cipher was dead.
The axolotl had heard him. Although, he was trapped in some pitch black void. At least he still had his powers.
Bill sat down on nothing, thinking. Thinking about what went wrong. what should have happened. He should have realized Ford wouldn’t willingly shake his hand. Fordsie’s too smart.
Time passes - or maybe it stands still, how would he know? - and Bill is still trapped in limbo.
He had already done everything to keep himself entertained: from creating puppets of his followers to recreating a weirdmageddon where he won. He was bored out of his mind. He needed something new.
He twirled himself around, and called for the one being he was sure would answer. Axolotl.
“Hey frills. Ya there?” he asked. He waited for some resemblance of a response.
Hours later, or maybe it was a few seconds, his surroundings changed from a inky black to a swirl of pastels. The sudden colors was jarring. He impulsively covered his eye.
After a few seconds, Bill slowly removed his hands from his eye and took in his surroundings. Blues swirled into pinks, bubbles of pure light floating around, and in the center of it all, an axolotl.
The axolotl smiled at the triangle. “Greetings, cipher,” it said, happily. “welcome to my home.”
