Reigen Arataka is a transgender man that uses He/Him pronouns.
When he realized things were going to get confusing with so many Reigens running around he chose his own nickname: Stardewgen Valleytaka. He chose Ekubo's and Serizawa's nicknames too, much to their dismay.
In my version of this world, Stardew Valley is an area of Japan south of Seasoning City and Japan is a part of the Ferngill Republic.
He is demiromantic as well as polyamorous.
He lives in the year 2017. (But I forget this sometimes, pls forgive any discrepancies.) (Update as of 2025: Now lives in 2019.)

He’s 5’6” (170cm) and weighs around 150lbs (68kg) of mostly muscle since moving to the farm, but he still has a little bit of tummy fat that hides any abs he might have.
He has medium blond hair and double eyelids both of which he got from his mother, otherwise he’s the spitting image of his father.
He still wears a suit, because he feels more confident in them. He has altered his clothes by replacing his buttons with tomato shaped ones…for funsies! His watch was a gift from his grandmother when he was 20 years old. She passed soon after and he put the watch away in his grief for a time. His grandfather passed away 10 years later when he was 30. He set the letter he was given aside, as his grandfather asked, for a day when he felt lost. (Update: Has mostly ditched the suit. Still wears it sometimes but works in overalls and sunhats most of the time now.)
His parents put on airs and derided their humble beginnings, hardly acknowledging Reigen’s maternal grandparents and once it became apparent that Reigen would not follow the path his parents had chosen for him they relented and allowed him to stay with his grandparents over the summers and those were Reigen’s best childhood memories.
The day he decided to open the letter came soon after he saw off the two youngest kids, Ritsu and Shou, to college. With all of the children away and Serizawa finishing up his degree, the office was quiet with just him and Ekubo and he quickly became listless and directionless. He took up the letter and read it, going home that evening to speak with Serizawa and Ekubo about how they felt about moving to the countryside. They had no objections, merely wanting Reigen to be happy. So, Serizawa moved into student housing to finish off his last two semesters and Reigen and Ekubo moved to the farm.
They moved in at the tail end of autumn, too late to plant anything. They focused instead on cleanup and modernization. He spent most of his savings on upgrading the house immediately so that there was a kitchen and an upstairs area (and a fancy bathroom!) He still runs “Spirits and Such” on the bottom floor, but it's a much more relaxed affair and doesn’t get much business outside being asked to run errands and look into pests. There are the occasional actual spiritual issues, but Ekubo can handle them easily enough. (Update: Serizawa dropped out of school and moved onto the farm. He will be attending online classes eventually but is taking a break.)
The local indigenous spirits, junimos, have taken an extreme liking to him and visit him regularly. He can’t understand them (yet) but Ekubo translates and Reigen helps them with small tasks and gives them little gifts. He thinks they’re really cute. He is working on restoring the town's community center as well. (Update: He and the others have drank the potion that allows for understanding the Junimos. He can also speak the Dwarves language, goblins, shadow people and some special animals like hat mouse, the raccoon family and the secret woods bear, etc.)
All this time with the junimos has left its mark on Reigen and he’s been gaining strange abilities due to their innate magic seeping into him, though he is oblivious to its origins. He can fast travel between dimensions, no matter their place in time, which allows him to go wherever he likes within the Reigenverse as long as he’s thinking hard on it while traveling. Anyone he holds onto can access this ability as well. (Like when he was traveling with Raiden.) This does not work within his own universe outside returning home. He can imbue objects with certain properties, such as giving Brigen’s television access to youtube, but he has no clue how that works and thinks it was just a one off occurrence. (Update: None of this is ever talked about. lmao But he's also stupid strong and has a bottomless bag, basically.)
There are negative side effects to this as well. He will pass out on the spot as soon as the clock strikes 2am. (He hasn't figured this one out yet. lol Update: He's figured this out. lol) He has limited stamina that cannot be restored via resting during the day, only through eating and taking a soak in the bath. If he pushes past his limit he will pass out and get sick. His stamina only seems to improve upon eating a stardrop fruit, which he eats as soon as he gets his hands on them as if by some compulsion.
