Work Text:
Seeing a sunrise–basking in it–was a rare pleasure Obi-Wan hadn’t enjoyed since before the war.
He’d cracked the windows the night before, the one in his kitchen just above the sink, and another in his chambers that extended the length of the wall opposing his bed and revealed the Coruscant skyline.
Well, their bed now, he mused.
Cody was still asleep, lips parted and eyes fluttering. The sheets had been pulled down to his waist exposing the expanse of his skin, and the scar that dragged down from his collarbone down around the outside of his chest.
Obi-Wan admired him with the trace of his fingers over Cody’s hair, then the side of his neck.
He missed waking up like this.
Allowing himself a few minutes to bask, the urge to be somewhat productive tugged at his consciousness, forcing a groan from his lips as he sat up and let the sheets pool at his waste.
For months it had been the four blank walls of the medbay where he spent his days toiling away at paperwork and sipping down the copious amounts of tea and water that were dropped on his side table as he worked. It had been something to do–better than watching holofilms or reading one of the three books Anakin brought him–but he was happy to have the option to do something more now.
Swinging his legs over the side of the bed, he felt a twinge of pain jolting its way from his hip down to his ankle.
“Kriff,” he swore, face held in his trembling hands as he waited for the sensation to wear off like it usually did.
Eventually, it settled into something more like a dull ache, and he reached for his cane–yes, his cane, he reminded himself – standing with gritted teeth.
He moved slowly, breathing through his teeth, just until he was able to make the short walk to his desk, lowering himself into his chair. He swallowed one of the pills he kept in the red bottle, then one from the green. Skull had explained what they were for, but he’d been too focused on seeing Cod y to listen closely.
One from the red bottle in the morning. One from the green bottle every four hours as needed. That was all he needed to know.
He waited, eyes closed as the sharp pain began to reduce to something less biting.
“Obi-Wan?”
Obi-Wan’s eyes snapped open, heart pounding for a split second before he found Cody sat up at the waist, dark hair a mess atop of his head. A pit formed in Obi-Wan’s stomach when he recognized the gentle worry etched on Cody’s face, eyebrows pinching the skin between his eyes.
“Everything alright?”
“Yes, fine,” Obi-Wan said–because it was mostly true–and allowed himself a watery smile. The pain was going to last, and there was a chance it would even be permanent, so he would have to be fine. He was fine.
Cody was out of bed before Obi-Wan had a chance to protest.
“You’ve taken your meds?”
Cody used to ask him that over his commlink, even when every dosage of his medication was being monitored in the medbay.
“Yes.”
“Hasn’t kicked in yet?
“Not quite,” he muttered as he watched Cody move closer, legs and chest on full display with only a tiny pair of briefs wrapped around his thighs.
Obi-Wan swallowed.
It had been months since he’d woken to this, to Cody.
He only wished it were like before, when he wasn’t a burden.
There were soft lips on his neck a second later, and Cody’s arms wrapped around his shoulders, “I’ll make you some breakfast–remember Skull said you should eat with your meds, darling.”
Obi-Wan nodded. It was easy to forget when he barely had an appetite.
“Will you be able to find anything in the kitchen?”
Obi-Wan watched Cody nod his head fondly.
“It’s a kitchen Obi-Wan. I’m sure I can figure it out.”
Then Cody was gone, grabbing Obi-Wan’s robe from the hooks next to the bedroom door.
When the pain had finally reduced into nothing–only a faint nagging sensation–he wrapped his hand around his cane and stood with only a moment of hesitation. With the handle gripped between his fingers, Obi-Wan felt far from himself.
Only three months prior it was a lightsaber in that same hand.
He dressed himself in loose pajama pants and a shirt, catching a glimpse of himself in the mirror. The man reflected back at him was slim, leaning to one side. Though the bags under his eyes had disappeared, his skin was still pale and his eyes still seemed hollow, like it was the reflection of a dead man staring back at him in the mirror. The cane–no matter how many times he’d reminded himself it was a necessity, that it helped him–was no less jarring than it was every other time he saw it in his hand.
“Breakfast is ready.”
Obi-Wan was snapped from his thoughts and noticed Cody reflected back at him in the mirror, head peeking through the doorway.
He smiled, warmth filling him again, “And what are we having this morning?”
Cody waited for him as he eased across the room, pressing a kiss to Obi-Wan’s hairline before they proceeded to the kitchen.
“Panna cakes and jogan fruit,” Cody presented a plate to him as Obi-Wan sat at the table, cane leaning against his chair.
Cody bowed just after Obi-Wan noticed the fruit arranged in the shape of a heart.
Obi-Wan raised an eyebrow, the shadow of a smile on his face, “Wonderful job, Cody. Thank you.”
They ate in relative silence, neither of them awake enough to make conversation.
Then Cody swept up their dishes and made his way to the fresher, reminding Obi-Wan he needed to be on time.
When he emerged from the bedroom, his hair was still slightly damp and he held his dress grays and boots in his arms, dropping them onto the sofa before beginning to dress. He could have done it in the bedroom–it made sense to do it in the bedroom–but instead he chose to dress in the line of Obi-Wan’s gaze.
Obi-Wan watched him with a wandering mind, eyes scanning over Cody’s smooth skin and the curve of his ass tucked inside a pair of black briefs.
And then there was a strange sensation flooding Obi-Wan’s senses.
Need.
It took him by surprise more than anything.
Obi-Wan hadn’t felt it in months. Hells, it almost felt like years since he'd felt the initial stir of interest –arousal– swelling in his belly.
But there it was, like it had never left at all. Need, tugging at his senses, blurring his thoughts and plans into something more… Cody-shaped.
“You look good, Obi-Wan,” Cody called, pulling on his socks.
Obi-Wan snorted, picking at a loose string on his sleep pants.
“Yes, I’m sure I do. Dressed for the finest occasion as always.”
It was Cody, hands tugging at the sleeves of his grays, fiddling with the cufflinks. The air around him was a forest, oak and maple tones outlining his form, the new box of cologne Obi-Wan once saw tucked in his trunk smelling the same way he’d imagined.
Cody had grown a short beard in his time on Bespin–time Obi-Wan spent away from his battalion, locked inside the stark white walls of the medbay, waiting for Cody’s private comms, putting out fires from his datapad in the spare time between his physical therapy sessions.
“I quite like the scruff,” Obi-Wan said, eyes drifting over Cody’s face. Cody had always been beautiful–would always be beautiful–but the new feature added new allure to him, an element of mystique.
“I was going to shave it.”
Cody stared back at him, a glow in his eyes, a smile on chapped lips. Fully himself, nothing held back.
“I’m glad you didn’t,” Obi-Wan said, ignoring the momentary glimpse of pain settling in the curve of his hip. It always settled there–a gentle reminder of the grate of stone against his side, a reminder of the crushing pain, then nothingness.
He shifted uncomfortably in his seat, trying to relieve the pressure.
Then it was gone, like a flip of a light switch, like a star flickering out in the sky. .
“Oh?” Cody responded, drifting closer, his scent following him. Obi-Wan felt drunk under his gaze, a shimmering haze surrounding Cody on all sides as he bent at the waist dipping close enough for their opposing ears to brush as his fingers clasped over the belt he left on the bed, “I thought you liked me smooth?”
Obi-Wan swallowed at the implication, because one time he did say–
“When I said that, I didn’t mean your face, darling.”
And there it was, the dusting of pink over the tops of Cody’s cheeks as he took a step back, and the toothless smile, one side of his lips upturned in a coy smirk.
Obi-Wan let his gaze linger, not keen to tear his eyes away while he had the time.
“I’ll keep it then, just until my leave is over. Then back to regs,” Cody said, folding the belt neatly between his hands, then stepping toward the mirror, taking his intoxicating scent with him.
“And I will have to savor it.”
Cody’s chuckle was soft and comfortable; it was everything it hadn’t been eight weeks before when his fingers first curled around Obi-Wan’s, eyes soft and darkened with a sadness that Obi-Wan’s couldn’t fix, and was the cause of, after all.
Obi-Wan knew he shouldn’t feel guilty–it wasn’t his own fault–but he couldn’t help but take the smallest amount of responsibility for the hollowness behind Cody’s eyes in those first weeks.
The dull, yet insultingly bright lights of the medbay gone, the crinkles around Cody’s eyes had returned. The syrupy smooth tones of his voice came with time too, improved by rest and lessened worry.
Obi-Wan watched him as he adjusted his grays in the mirror, picking at the cufflinks and fussing over the straps of his boots.
“You know, I’m surprised this still fits,” Cody murmured after a moment.
And while it did fit, it fit differently than the last time he’d seen it on Cody.
Before it had been looser, fit to him like a proper soldier. Now it was tighter, fit around his muscles more closely, like it was made to show them.
Hence, the need spinning in Obi-Wan’s stomach, and the press of his length against the buttons of his pants. It was left ignored, because Cody had a ceremony to attend, one where he would be honored for his work as a commander; it would have to wait.
“You haven’t worn it in nearly a year. Thought I might never get the pleasure of seeing you all dressed up again,” Obi-Wan murmured, watching Cody’s sure hands flatten his collar then press down the front of his slacks over the center crease.
“Well don’t get too riled up about it,” Cody said, blush still staining his cheeks as he stepped away from the mirror, slowly moving toward Obi-Wan with a glint in his eye, “It’s coming off the second I get back.”
“Oh?”
Obi-Wan couldn’t hide his breathlessness.
There were hands tugging at the buttons of his shirt, undoing just the top two of them. Then Cody was invading his space, lips pressing gently over the skin just below his ear, trailing down the side of his neck, gooseflesh following behind.
“And don’t worry, I won’t be gone long,” Cody’s voice was hot in his ear–taunting, tantalizing.
Then, he was gone, the door closed in his wake, the muskiness of his cologne sticking to the air for a moment longer before that disappeared too.
Cody was right–it wouldn’t be long before he returned–but it was long enough that Obi-Wan’s hip joint began to ache, burning as he neatened his bed sheets and tidied the bowls they’d left in the kitchen sink from firstmeal that morning. Even if a warm shower helped a small amount, it wasn’t enough to completely stop the ache.
He took a break with the third twinge of pain, huffing as he dropped into a chair by his desk, hands fidgeting over his pill bottle.
It was the same fight every time his eyes passed over the small green container; he didn’t want the medication, but it was an unavoidable necessity. Vokara Che had urged him to change his mindset, to remind himself that treating his pain was good.
Still, his trembling fingers hesitated over the top of the bottle before he shook one pill into the palm of his hand and swallowed it dry.
He allowed himself to sit back, datapad in hand while he waited for the ebbing pain to reduce into a dull ache, then a whisper of distant throbbing.
It didn’t take long for the aching to fade and his thoughts to drift back to the tight stretch of Cody’s grays over his muscular form. Since Obi-Wan’s initial stint in the medbay Cody had been training harder than ever.
I’m getting out of practice, Cody said one time, I need to stay toned like I was on Kamino.
It was Cody’s way of coping, or so Rex told Obi-Wan one evening he came for a visit in the medbay.
It had unintentionally attractive results.
Now Cody’s form was wider, filled out more than when Obi-Wan first met him. While he’d always been thicker around the middle compared to Obi-Wan, it was more noticeable than ever.
Obi-Wan lost some muscle confined in the medbay, Cody had gained more.
And Obi-Wan liked it.
Obi-Wan liked the ridges of muscle lining Cody’s middle, and the way Cody could lift him up by the bottoms of his thighs with ease.
Cody’s form looked good wrapped in his tight-fitting grays that fit over his skin just right. If Obi-Wan had an ounce less self control he would have pushed Cody up against the wall, hands reaching for the buttons of his pants, lips trailing over the supple skin of Cody’s neck, just below the lobe of his ear. He would have let Cody lick down his own neck, let his hands wander over the hair just peeking over the edge of his waistband.
Obi-Wan set his datapad down, paperwork forgotten.
Distracted by his own kriffing fantasies.
It had been a long time since the last time they’d been intimate. For weeks following his surgery intimacy hadn’t been an option at all.
Apparently, hip reconstructions were no laughing matter. The recovery was long and painful, marked with points where Obi-Wan was sure he was never going to be able to walk properly again and points where he was filled with optimism.
Things had been looking up for a few weeks; he was given approval to leave the medbay upond Cody’s return from Bespin and learned how to use a cane for support. He’d passed every checkpoint and milestone Skull and Vokara Che had collectively set for him.
Intimacy was an option again, and Cody was back in his arms, at least for a short while.
He couldn’t keep it off his kriffing mind.
Obi-Wan was about to reach for his dick, relieve some of the tension from being half-hard for sometime, but Cody would be back soon.
And he’d promised more.
Sighing, he reached for the datapad again, hoping to distract himself for a short while longer.
“Obi-Wan?”
Cody's dress boots clacked softly against the floor and he shut the heavy door behind him.
Obi-Wan’s chambers in the Jedi temple smelled of him–a sweet herb-filled scent–even if it had been nearly a year since he lived there for more than a few days at a time.
Cody eyed the space before him, smiling to himself when he found Obi-Wan’s favorite teas organized neatly in the space on the windowsill above the kitchen sink. His sofa and chairs were each a different color, but the living room was filled with earthy green tones and soft terracottas.
It was so… Obi-Wan.
Refreshingly Obi-Wan in the face of his dark gray quarters aboard the Negotiator.
There were many small details he hadn't noticed the night before when they’d stumbled into Obi-Wan’s quarters just after midnight. They were exhausted, falling into bed alongside one another before Cody had a chance to look around for anything but the fresher. Even that morning while he made breakfast and dressed for the day, he’d hardly taken a moment to look around.
In the daylight, it felt like a home, so different from the Negotiator. So different from Kamino.
“Obi-Wan?” He called again, fingers unclasping his belt; he was itching to get out of his grays, the rough fabric rubbing uncomfortably on his skin. He’d always preferred his blacks, or even a set of soft drawstring pants he nicked from Obi-Wan’s rooms.
There was a muffled yell from the bedroom, and with the drop of his belt onto the kitchen table, and the clank of his boots deposited recklessly on the floor, Cody followed the sound.
“Are you trying to hide from me?” He asked when he found Obi-Wan tucked in a chair by his desk in the bedroom, now dressed in soft gray sweatpants and a loose-fitted t-shirt Cody didn’t recognize from his drawers on the Negotiator.
“Just busy, is all,” Obi-Wan responded, quirking an eyebrow as he glanced upward from where his eyes traced over the datapad he held in hand.
“I thought you weren’t going to work while on leave?”
Cody’s eyebrows stayed raised.
Obi-Wan’s soft smile and mussed hair were irresistible, as was the gentle smattering of freckles over his cheeks, more pronounced in the sunlight than they were under the dull white lights of the Negotiator’s medbay.
“I needed to do something to distract myself,” he responded with a shrug, but his datapad was abandoned in seconds, tossed onto the neatly organized surface of his desk.
Cody didn’t miss the rosiness on Obi-Wan’s cheeks, or the golden glint behind his eyes. Cody knew that particular golden glint. Mischievous, wanting.
“Oh yeah?” Cody asked, moving closer to him now, working his fingers on the buttons of his jacket, then his shirt.
Obi-Wan watched with a slack mouth. His lips were half-hidden by his beard, but pink and soft.
There was tension-filled air between them, like a rubber band about to snap. It was stained with the scent of a recently burnt candle, and the smokiness of the city below. Cody thought it was arousal, bouncing between them like electricity, spreading down his shoulders and chest, spilling down to his stomach. But it wasn’t just arousal.
No, it was the culmination of lust tinted with the blue tone of long standing desire building between them through months of going without. It was a violent desire, almost a demand.
“I’ll admit, you left me here with a bit of a problem on my hands,” Obi-Wan muttered with blue, unblinking eyes, as still as a desert night, “It was hard not to be distracted.”
For some time all they’d been allowed were flirtatious comments, the odd touch on the small of one another's' backs, gentle kisses sprinkled down Obi-Wan’s neck.
Nothing more.
“I think I’d like to distract you a little bit more, if you don’t mind,” Cody said, pulling off the top of his grays and the white undershirt.
They were both ready for something more.
“I don’t mind.”
Cody watched Obi-Wan’s tongue dart out from between his lips, watched his pupils grow just a bit darker.
Stepping forward, Cody swore he felt heat radiating from Obi-Wan the closer he got. The man shifted under his gaze in the desk chair, haze filled eyes tracing Cody’s form unapologetically.
“You’re…” Cody crouched slightly, fingers tracing over the curve of Obi-Wan’s jaw, over his perfectly shaped beard, a thumb catching on the corner of his lips, “Stunning.”
The stain of a blush worked its way over Obi-Wan’s face–it always did, not matter how many times Cody said it.
“Likewise my dear,” Obi-Wan choked out as Cody pressed his lips over the soft skin of his neck in the space just underneath his earlobe. He stayed there for a moment, pressing the softest kisses down his neck, all the way until he reached the collar of Obi-Wan’s shirt. He didn’t miss the little inhale of breath from Obi-Wan’s lips as he sucked gently at the skin.
After a moment, Cody pulled away, drunk under the unbreakable spell of Obi-Wan. His scent, the taste of his skin, the gentle press of his Force-presence around them both. It was intoxicating.
Obi-Wan let out a shuddering breath, fumbling to stand, eyes never unlocking with Cody’s. He didn’t reach for his cane, unsteady moving forward, arms thrust in Cody’s direction.
“I–I want–”
There were hands on Cody’s pecs, pushing him toward the bed, breath grazing over Cody’s neck when Obi-Wan leaned forward to pull at the button of his pants, then his zipper.
“You,” Obi-Wan finished, fingers toying over Cody’s waistband as he pressed his lips– perfect, breathtaking lips– over Cody’s.
They kissed like tomorrow wouldn’t come, like they’d never see each other again.
It lasted for what felt like hours, their hands roaming over each other with unrestrained need. And it felt so right, like it hadn’t been months since the last time they had the privilege to fully let themselves go.
But something still tugged at Cody’s chest–was it guilt? No–fear. Worry.
Cody pulled back, lips swollen, and heart hammering inside his ribcage.
“What’s wrong?”
Obi-Wan’s eyes were soft, fingers softer as they slotted around the back of Cody’s neck.
“We don’t have to do this if you’re not ready…” Cody murmured. It didn’t matter if Obi-Wan was medically cleared or not–Cody needed to be sure the time was right,
Obi-Wan shook his head, arms only tightening around Cody’s neck.
“I’m ready. And I trust you,” Obi-Wan said, pulling Cody in for a kiss by the nape of his neck. Their lips met for just a brief second, before Obi-Wan looked at him again, that same glint in his eyes, “Now c’mon, Cody. Have me.”
The words sent a spike of electricity to Cody’s dick. His name on Obi-Wan’s tongue had a tendency to do that.
Cody was gentle when he lifted Obi-Wan onto the bed, setting him down on his back, legs arranged so they hung off the side of the bed which wouldn’t strain his hips. Keep knee level with, or below hip.
In an awkward exchange when they’d first arrived at the halls of healing at the Temple the day before, Vokara Che handed Obi-Wan a folder of papers about recovery which was later discovered to include a list of appropriate sex positions to use after a major hip surgery. At least the information was coming in handy.
“I’m taking these off,” he narrated, gesturing to Obi-Wan’s clothes as he pulled off his own pants. Obi-Wan giggled softly as Cody tripped over them–they were much too tight to easily pull over his feet.
“Very smooth, Codes,” Obi-Wan said, raising his arms for Cody to remove his shirt.
Cody grumbled something along the lines of shut up, then reached for the tie of Obi-Wan’s sweatpants. He was gentle–as he had been each time he’d helped Obi-Wan undress for his showers in the medbay–and carefully wrapped his fingers under the waistband.
But it was just the waistband of sweatpants, the elastic of his briefs missing.
Cody raised an eyebrow, and Obi-Wan’s lips curled into a smile, his eyes hazy with desire.
“No underwear?”
“Didn’t think I’d need them.”
And kriff, Cody loved him.
“I love you,” he said, breathless as he felt a clench of affection in his chest. He wasn’t just saying the words, he meant them.
“I love you. For reasons other than a lack of undergarments.”
Cody laughed, then held Obi-Wan’s face in his hands.
Kissing came again, harder, lined with desperation. Cody allowed himself to trail back down Obi-Wan’s neck and over his chest and stomach, pushing lower until his lips reached the very edge of where he’d pulled down Obi-Wan’s sweatpants just enough he could see red coiling hair.
He couldn’t believe he hadn’t pulled them off yet.
He pushed them down all the way, stifling an intake of breath as Obi-Wan’s cock sprung free, the leaking, purple tip curling against the trail of hair on his stomach.
“Fuck,” Cody all but whispered, and without hesitation, wrapped his fingers around the base, stroking firmly once, then twice when he heard the utterly impure sound that escaped Obi-Wan’s lips.
“You like that?”
Obi-Wan moaned, louder than he would have ever dared inside the thin walls of his quarters on the Negotiator.
Cody allowed his lips to continue their descent, pressing everywhere but against where Obi-Wan wanted him most. Around his jutting hip bones and down to the tops of his legs to just above his knees, then down to the inside of his thighs. Cody bit at the sensitive skin, sucking the bitemark into his mouth when he was done, beard leaving a certain redness behind on Obi-Wan’s thighs.
Another sinful moan.
Music to Cody’s ears every damn time.
“Please.”
Obi-Wan’s voice was broken and hoarse, hands trembling by his sides.
It had been so long since Cody felt useful, since he’d been able to do anything but offer a comforting hand and gentle words. It wasn’t Obi-Wan’s fault–it was never Obi-Wan’s fault– but there was a certain joy in creating pleasure once again, to please the one he loved more than anyone else.
“What do you want, C’yare?”
“Please.”
Cody’s trailed his lips just over the head of Obi-Wan’s throbbing cock, threatening to take it into his mouth, to make him feel good.
He hummed, and Obi-Wan whimpered again, vocal like he’d never been before. Cody wondered if he had been holding back, if noisiness was his natural state.
“That– I want–”
He didn’t make Obi-Wan beg for it, instead taking the tip of his cock in his mouth and sucking gently, tongue sliding over the slit in small circles, just the way he knew Obi-Wan liked. There was another cry and Obi-Wan bit down on his bottom lip.
Cody palmed his own dick, need crawling up his spine as Obi-Wan shook.
He let Obi-Wan’s dick fall from his lips after just a few seconds, then stood between Obi-Wan’s legs hoping to catch a glimpse of half-lidded eyes and mussed hair. Cody was lucky indeed to find Obi-Wan looked positively corrupted, cheeks bright red, swollen lips parted.
“Can’t have you coming yet, darling,” he said, leaning over Obi-Wan to press a gentle kiss to the corner of his lips.
“No?” Obi-Wan asked, chest rising and falling rapidly, “I suppose you have other plans?”
Cody did have other plans, but so did Obi-Wan. They both knew what they wanted.
“I’m going to fuck you,” Cody whispered like a secret, sucking on Obi-Wan’s earlobe for a second. He allowed his hand to trail down Obi-Wan’s front, crawling lower and lower until he could cup Obi-Wan’s balls in his fingers, rolling them until he received a pleasured moean in return. He moved to rub at Obi-Wan’s perineum moments later, skating over the sensitive skin with just enough pressure to make Obi-Wan shiver under his touch.
The sound Obi-Wan made could have made him come on the spot if he wasn’t careful.
Fuck.
“Is this alright?”
Cody’s voice was no more than a whisper, warm breath in his ear, ghosting over the skin of Obi-Wan’s neck.
For months it wasn’t alright, pain clouding his need to be held like this, the need to be fucked. Now it felt more than right, like he couldn’t breath until Cody was buried inside, thrusts like waves crashing into the ocean shore.
“Yes. Yes. Please.”
Desperation caused him to buck upward, dick pressing against Cody’s; he stifled a soft cry at the touch, even the slightest brush of skin on his own sending fire through every vein in his body.
Cody didn’t fumble when he spread lube over his fingers, pressing them over Obi-Wan’s rim with a gentleness lined with burning desire. Careful, but purposeful.
There was a moan escaping from him, then the slightest choked whimper as Cody let his fingers slide over the sensitive flesh. He always knew exactly what Obi-Wan liked; it was the tease of his fingertips, then the press of a single finger, easy and slow.
Each time Cody got better at this, learning what motions worked and what didn’t. Attentive.
“Cody,” he muttered, shuddering as Cody pressed in one finger tip, then dragged it out slowly until it caught on his rim. Obi-Wan didn’t have time to catch his breath before Cody did it again, slow and steady.
Cody worked him open for a long time. Diligent. Careful. There was no rush to his pace, just rhythmic motions that never brought Obi-Wan quite to the edge, but was constantly, unceasingly, pleasurable.
He avoided the spot inside Obi-Wan that would send his hips flying off the bed, a purposeful act of consideration that could have made Obi-Wan cry if it weren’t for the burning arousal that took up every ounce of his emotional cup.
Cody watched him carefully, a lazy smile on his lips, pupils wide and eyes glowing. Patient.
“You want…?”
There was the smallest nudge of two fingertips against the spot inside him that drove Obi-Wan mad. Obi-Wan gasped, electricity jolting down his spine, but nodded, knowing Cody would work him over mercifully and torturously all the same.
The first press–however soft–was brutal, pleasurable to the point of pain, but within a minute, he was inching toward release, muscles constricting with every brush of Cody’s fingers.
“I’m–” he needed to warn Cody he was close, but the words were lost on him, somewhere inside his muddied thoughts, “I need–”
Cody got the hint, stopping abruptly, fingers leaving an empty space inside him when Cody took them away.
Obi-Wan whimpered, but Cody was quick, nudging his legs apart with practiced hands. Obi-Wan let him do whatever he wanted, trusting the man with himself like he always would.
“Let me do all the work Obi-Wan, yeah?” Cody was moving him, pulling him closer to the edge of the bed, then tucking a couple of pillows under the balls of his feet to support him.
It was too kind, unbearable, perfectly considerate. Obi-Wan let a tear drip down his face this time, wiping it away with a shaking hand before Cody could notice.
Then Cody was standing between his legs, hands curling around his thighs to hold him in place, then the press of the hard tip of Cody’s cock against his rim.
It’s been so long since he felt the stretch, and though it stung for a moment, the burn turned into pleasure as soon as Cody’s cock was settled fully inside, pelvis flush with Obi-Wan.
Obi-Wan opened his eyes, not realizing they were closed to begin with, and committed to memory every line of Cody’s face.
His closed eyes, the thick column of his neck and bearded jaw, his raw parted lips.
Truly, he was beautiful like this, buried inside, hips flush with Obi-Wan’s.
After a moment, Cody opened his eyes, blinking gently, stuck in a pleasured haze.
“Can I?”
Obi-Wan nodded, only just nearly stopping himself from bucking upward to get some much needed friction.
The feeling was equally as foreign as it was familiar when Cody finally moved. It was the same as it had been before–perfect pleasure–but it was lined with desperation, with an insatiable desire that heightened every sensation. Every ruthless slide of Cody’s cock over that spot inside him felt heavenly.
It took his breath away.
The noises Cody made as he pressed inside were feral, the sounds of them alone making Obi-Wan have to force himself off of the edge of release.
More, Obi-Wan thought he said when the slow strokes of Cody’s cock were no longer enough.
Cody gave him more, hips snapping forward harder, but missing the spot he needed to be touched.
Obi-Wan reached for him, grasping his arm and steering him forward so he dropped to his elbows, body hovering just over Obi-Wan’s chest. The change in angle brought Cody’s next thrust to the exact place Obi-Wan hoped it would.
There was fire behind his eyes, in his veins, running from his chest down the the bottom of his stomach.
“There,” he moaned louder than he’d wanted to, and Cody listened, pressing home just where Obi-Wan wanted him to, pace slowing enough for each thrust to be purposeful and direct.
They stayed like that for a moment, neither of them breathing, lost in the moment until Cody’s breathless voice filled Obi-Wan’s ears.
“I’ve missed you,” Cody murmured, holding Obi-Wan closer to him, a soft noise of appreciation slipping from Obi-Wan’s mouth as he leaned into Cody’s warm embrace.
“I’ve missed you...” Cody groaned, hips thrusting into Obi-Wan, stuttering occasionally and forcing a soft whimper from his lungs. Cody filled him to the brim, again and again, relentless, “So fucking much, you don’t even know,” Chody breathed out, dipping his head down a little and resting his forehead against Obi-Wan’s.
“Mmm,” Obi-Wan responded, clenching around Cody on purpose, enjoying the soft gasp that slipped out of Cody’s mouth, “I’ve missed you, too,” Obi-Wan finished softly, hand wrapping around the nape of Cody’s neck, pressing hard enough he would leave bruises, “I’ve missed this, too,” Obi-Wan said.
Cody moaned into his mouth, pulling him into a sloppy kiss.
He was close–Obi-Wan could tell.
Hells, Obi-Wan was teetering on the edge.
It took another two thrusts before Obi-Wan knew he wouldn’t be able to hold back much longer, his stomach clenching in desperation.
“Fuck, I’m gonna come–” Obi-Wan whimpered, opening his legs just a touch more to make space for Cody. It didn’t hurt, and though it might ache the next day, he was sure he needed Cody deeper inside him.
“Mm, yeah? Then come for me,” Cody demanded through an exhale and gritted teeth, stroking his fingers through Obi-Wan’s hair.
That was enough–the commanding tone in Cody’s voice, the perfect slide of Cody’s cock against his prostate one more time–and Obi-Wan was gone.
Cody was there with him, a strangled moan following Obi-Wan’s, but the sound was far away, underwater.
Everything around him shimmered and shifted, waves of pleasure pinning him in place while the waves drifted over him endlessly. It only lasted for a short while, but Obi-Wan relished every second, head thrown back as it washed over him.
When he opened his eyes, Cody was still leaning over him, elbows and forearms pressed into the mattress. He was disheveled, hair a curly mess, a string of saliva in his beard.
“That was…” Cody whispered.
“Yeah.”
“Are you alright? No pain?”
And it was so Cody, asking him about pain thirty seconds after an orgasm. Selfless and caring, never too distracted.
“No, no. That was perfect.”
And maybe his hip would ache slightly when the medication had worn off, but Cody had been so careful, his own needs set to the side. It had been perfect.
“It was, wasn’t it?” Cody said with a soft smile, “Just one of the many reasons I love you.”
“I’d love to hear the other reasons you love me, Cody, other than making you come.”
Cody groaned and rolled his eyes, forcing himself upright and onto his feet, “As if I haven’t told you those reasons hundreds of times before.”
Obi-Wan pouted, then shook his head, “A cruel man, you are.”
He didn’t move from the bed while Cody retrieved a towel, then allowed himself to be taken care of.
“Would you like a shower?” Cody asked when he was finished.
Obi-Wan considered the question, frowning when he realized how much energy that would take.
“I’ll do all the work,” Cody said, offering a hand to Obi-Wan, clearly reading Obi-Wan’s mind with ease, “You won’t have to lift a finger. Let me take care of you.”
“Alright then, dear. Shower it is.”
Cody was there, as he always would be.
Obi-Wan loved him.
