Incredibly Wholesome, Actually

Summary:

There are things I don't know how to ask for, sometimes, Nancy had confessed to the darkness. Sometimes I just... can't. Ask for things. Choose things.

You can ask me for anything, Robin had tried to reassure her. I might not be able to give it to you, I mean. I don't know what it is, but... I wouldn't judge you.

She'd heard Nancy sigh and felt her roll over, facing her, whispering so close Robin could feel it. No. I am asking. That's what... I'm asking you to not make me ask. I'm asking you not to ask. To not make me choose, sometimes. Sometimes I just need you to choose. For me.

Work Text:

Nancy got like this sometimes. When she was tired. When she was overworked and overwhelmed. Sometimes for no reason, or for reasons at least that she chose to keep to herself.

It was a learning process. Being together. Living together.

It was a honeymoon, still, a lot of the time, to be fair. Robin woke up every morning exactly where she wanted to be, with exactly the person she wanted to be waking up with. And Nancy said she felt the same way, and Robin believed her, because Nancy didn't lie to her.

But it was a learning process. They were learning.

People needed space, sometimes. Robin needed space, sometimes.

Some days she couldn't concentrate with Nancy moving around the apartment nonstop. Cleaning and organizing and undertaking all the little projects that kept her from ever sitting still. It was distracting. The noise and the movement and the feeling of somebody looking over her shoulder even though there was nothing incriminating about Tolstoy and Nancy couldn't read Russian even if there was.

Some days she couldn't relax, feeling like Nancy's industriousness was an accusation regarding her own laziness, even though she knew that was an invention of her own self-doubt.

On those days she'd leave the house and study at a coffee shop or the library, or she'd shut the door to their bedroom and hope Nancy got the hint, which she always did. And then she'd come home or she'd open the bedroom door only to find Nancy finally relaxing, asleep on the couch with the television playing something Robin knew she must've only put on mostly for the noise. And she'd start dinner and then they'd sit across the table from each other and eat and talk and Robin would thank the universe for letting her spend her days frustrated by this woman.

But Nancy's moods were different.

Robin had thought she needed space, too. On the days when her constant movements through the apartment got more hectic. When the noise of her busyness was the unfocused rustling and clanking of picking things up just to put them down again. When Robin would go to the coffee shop to give Nancy that space and she'd come home only to find her flicking through the channels endlessly, unsatisfied with any of it even for background noise. When Robin would ask her what she felt like for dinner and Nancy would say I don't care. I can't think about that right now.

They'd lost power, once, for an entire day, in the middle of winter. The sun set early and they'd lit some candles for light but it wasn't enough to read by or to do whatever it was Nancy was always doing. And the heat didn't work when the power didn't work, so they'd given up, and wound up under their blankets in their bed, wearing two sets of pajamas each, whispering in the dark like they hadn't done since the sleepovers of before. Before the world was saved. Before either of them had moved here. Before they were them. Back when it had been a searching kind of thing, every conversation they had. Tentatively trying to know each other before they knew what they even wanted to know.

For me.

It was a learning process.

Nancy had always been in charge. Not that it worked that way, really, not that Robin couldn't do what she wanted. But, just. Nancy was decisive. She had authority. She knew what she was doing. And when things needed to get done, she either did them herself or she found somebody else to do them for her and she made sure they did them right.

It was comfortable, and easy, to be her lieutenant. Her right hand man. Robin was proud to hang off Nancy's arm, and prouder still to be the one who could lean in and whisper in her ear and make her laugh right through her poker face.

It had never occurred to Robin to wonder whether Nancy actually liked being in charge.

She'd felt like an asshole about it. Because of course Nancy didn't want to be in charge all the time. Of course that was too much to ask of anybody. She believed in Nancy so hard she'd never stopped to think about what that belief weighed, what kind of pressure it exerted.

One whispered conversation in the dark didn't solve it. Robin had questions, still, and she asked them, a little at a time, when Nancy was in her normal headspace. When Nancy was in a mood where she could hear a question and give an answer easily, when she didn't have to tear out a piece of her brain to get at the thoughts in there. When things were calm and they were together and things were quiet enough for Robin to whisper against Nancy's chest Tell me more about that, please? Explain it to me, please. What you mean. What you want.

Because it was a lot to ask of her, Robin felt like. Not in a bad way. Not in a that's too much kind of way. But in a... She had doubts. Doubts were a pretty key part of Robin's personality. Where Nancy was sure and certain, Robin was always a hundred different maybes deep.

She was going to need to narrow that down, to be who Nancy was saying she needed her to be, sometimes.

I don't want you to feel like you have to... pretend. Nancy told her. Nothing like that. Nothing you don't want to do. I just... need you to... take over. Just sometimes.

And she had been worrying about that. A little bit. Not about whether she could be who Nancy wanted or do what Nancy wanted, she knew she could. She knew she was. But she was worried, a little bit, not about what she couldn't or wouldn't do. But about what she would, given the chance.

I'm telling you that I'm telling you yes, now, Nancy had said, casually, over dinner one night. When they'd talked about it a lot. When they'd had a lot of these conversations. When the idea was becoming normal enough that they could talk about it in the daylight, face to face. Because I won't be able to, sometimes, or I won't want to, or... But I want you to... I want you to have permission. I trust you. You have my permission.

Robin had chewed her food and her thoughts. Worked them down to mush, to molecules. To the most basic version of themselves. Worried it all down into nothing but that one real worry.

But you'll say no, though. Right? She'd finally asked. If it's... If you don't like it, whatever I'm... If it's too much or just, if it's the wrong thing. If i guess wrong. If anything, Nance. It only works if I know you'll say no. Promise me.

Nancy promised.

It was a learning process. They were both curious people, by nature. Searchers. Seekers. Their restlessness didn't manifest in the same ways, or for the same reasons, but the fact remained that they were both busy minded people. They liked to learn.

They learned.

And Nancy got like this sometimes.

It was raining out, and she'd had errands that she'd been putting off doing all week that she wanted to do today but now she couldn't do them because it was raining out.

Or that's what Robin gathered, from the grumbling Nancy was doing under her breath as she stomped around the apartment. There was a pile of crumpled typewriter paper next to the little desk she worked at in the dining room. The television was playing sports highlights because the Red Sox were on rain delay, and the noise was distracting Robin from reading her book but it was better than Nancy's channel surfing, at the very least. She'd much rather just listen to the rain, but if she turned the TV off she knew Nancy would just turn it back on again.

Nancy was rattling around in the kitchen now, and Robin might have just let her, except that she heard the beep of the oven turning on and that was never a good sign when Nancy was the only one in there.

"What are you doing?" Robin asked, leaning in the doorway. Half the cabinets were thrown open and Nancy's shirt was covered in flour somehow already.

"Making cookies," Nancy muttered. She turned around to go rooting through the cabinets for whatever she thought went into cookies.

"No you're not," Robin sighed. She stepped into the kitchen and turned off the oven while Nancy glared at her.

"Yes. I am," she insisted. She tried to reach past Robin to turn the oven back on but Robin, for once, didn't get out of her way. "There's nothing to eat in this house and it's raining so I can't go grocery shopping." She slammed a cabinet shut.

"You don't know how to make cookies," Robin tried to reason with her. "Every time you try to make cookies they come out terrible and then you just wind up even more upset than you were when you started, and you are always upset when you start making cookies."

"I'm just... I'm hungry," Nancy complained. She pushed a hand back through her hair in frustration. "And there's no-"

"No food in the house, I got it," Robin nodded. "Except there absolutely is plenty of food in the house."

"No food that I want," Nancy clarified.

Robin laughed. "Okay, so what? You want shitty cookies that are just gonna wind up in the trash if I can manage to intercept you before you throw the whole sheet pan off the fire escape again? Nance. It was funny one time, but I use those pans. Come on. We can order a pizza."

She grabbed Nancy gently by her biceps and maneuvered her back out of the kitchen towards their room.

"I don't want pizza," Nancy said.

"Well I don't want you destroying my kitchen and getting flour all over the house. Take off your sweater."

Robin guided Nancy the rest of the way into the bedroom and crossed her arms over her chest, and waited. She watched the tired annoyance play out over Nancy's pretty features and had to hold back a smile.

"What are you doing?" Nancy asked.

"You know what I'm doing." Robin sighed. "Take off your sweater. It's filthy, and it's not even cold out. It's June. Take it off," she repeated.

Nancy shook her head and looked away. Her cheeks were pink, from anger or embarrassment or maybe because she really was too warm in that sweater. It didn't matter. She looked back at Robin and rolled her eyes, but finally she pulled the sweater up over her head.

She looked down at the dirty sweater in her hand and asked- "So, what? Are you gonna make me put it in the hamper now?"

Robin stood her ground, arms still crossed, leaning back against the doorframe.

"I'm not making you do anything," she shrugged. "I don't really care what you do with it, but you know it's gonna bother you if you just leave it on the floor."

Nancy stared at Robin in that steely way she had, that way that used to be so intimidating. It still was, truthfully. Robin felt the hairs stand up at the back of her neck, but she was better at hiding it now, how affected she was by everything Nancy did.

Eventually Nancy sighed and crossed the room to put the sweater in the laundry hamper, like Robin knew she would. Like Nancy must have known she would, too. Robin really didn't make Nancy do anything, she really couldn't, and she didn't really want to. She was just giving Nancy permission to do the things she wanted to do already. It was a learning process, yeah, but Robin had at least learned that much by now.

"You might as well take the rest off while you're over there," she said, her voice impressively so much calmer than she felt about any of this.

"Robin," Nancy said. Like an accusation, or a warning.

"Nancy," Robin said back.

Nancy had told Robin she didn't want her to have to pretend, but Robin didn't mind pretending a little bit. It wasn't an uncomfortable kind of pretending, nothing like lying, or hiding. She didn't have to force it. It was more like trying on new clothes, imagining who she might be if she wore some particular combination of things, seeing what fit. Seeing what felt good. She found that a lot of things felt good, with Nancy. Unexpected things, sometimes.

She really didn't mind at all.

Nancy wasn't pretending to be annoyed, Robin knew. Nancy didn't really pretend anything, not consciously. But she had been in a mood already, and she was still in a mood, and there was only one way Robin knew to get her out of that mood. And if Nancy really didn't want to, she'd say no.

The humiliating truth was that Robin could barely remember what book she'd even been reading. She'd have to reread the entire last chapter, probably, she'd been so distracted by Nancy, and by what was becoming an almost Pavlovian response to Nancy's restlessness.

But it went both ways, Robin knew by now. Or it went every way. Cyclical, snowballing. Symbiotic or codependent. She wondered sometimes what their old government-appointed shrinks would have made of this theater they put on for each other, not that she would ever have told them about any of this.

Nancy might have, of course. Nancy liked to shock people into changing the subject.

"I hate you," Nancy deadpanned.

"No, you don't," Robin sighed. As if this was hard work, some terrible inconvenience. As if she had other things she would rather be doing, other places to be. "Just take off your clothes, Nancy."

Nancy rolled her eyes, but she started unbuttoning her shirt. She stared Robin down as she did it, petulant. Her movements were exaggerated, some dramatic enactment of her apparent displeasure at the situation.

Robin looked at her watch.

"You're not even looking?" Nancy asked her.

"Give me something to look at if you want me to look," Robin said quietly. She turned her attention to the music box on top of Nancy's dresser, the one she'd brought with her from home, that had made half a dozen moves since then. She opened it up and let its twinkly little song play in the quiet of the bedroom.

"Way to set the mood," Nancy muttered.

Robin finally looked over at her, standing there shirtless in the corner. A skinny little thing, but stray cat strong and just as vicious, when she wanted to be. Gorgeous.

"I could say the same to you," she said. "Why are you still wearing pants?"

"I don't see the point if you're just going to ignore me," Nancy said pointedly. She crossed her arms over her chest to cover herself, to force Robin's hand.

"Fine," Robin conceded. She crossed the room and grabbed Nancy by her shoulders, spinning her to face the corner and the laundry, her back pressed to Robin's front. "You don't want to be ignored?"

She grabbed Nancy's wrists and wrestled her arms away from her chest. Nancy let her, Robin knew that. Robin was bigger but Nancy was stronger. She took the gift, anyway, and pressed Nancy's hands hard against the front of her jeans until she felt Nancy's fingers working at the button, and then she let go. Gave into the temptation she'd been fighting since the other side of the room. Since all day, honestly. Since the sound of the rain on the windows put Nancy's plans on hold. The humidity made her hair as unruly as her mood, and Robin loved it this way.

She gathered up Nancy's hair off her shoulders and pressed a kiss to the back of her neck, because she could, and because she couldn't help herself. She couldn't keep all that softness down even when she was enjoying these moments of hardness. She didn't have to. She could have both. She could hold Nancy's hair out of the way in one hand and and reach the other back around to palm one of Nancy's tits, to pinch her nipple between her fingers, hard, at the same time.

She could do both at once and listen for the tight little gasp Nancy tried to swallow, and feel the way Nancy's hands stilled at her waist, her zipper halfway down.

"What's taking so long?" She asked against the pulse in Nancy's throat.

"I-" Nancy's explanation was cut off by Robin's fingers squeezing her again. Robin decided to let her talk. "I have to... bend over."

Robin laughed, low, and let Nancy's hair drop back into place. She let her hands drop to Nancy's hips, kneading. "So bend over."

Nancy did. She pulled her jeans down her legs and stepped out of them while Robin held onto her hips and watched, until she was standing back up again in just her underwear.

"These too," Robin said, before Nancy was all the way back to standing. She yanked Nancy's underwear down past her ass and then laid one hand flat against the small of her back to help her along in case she needed the motivation. That was the only help she was going to offer. Her other hand, gripping hard into Nancy's hip and pressing her bare ass back against the faded denim of her jeans, was probably more of a hindrance than anything else.

"Can you just- Let me-" Nancy huffed.

"No," Robin answered. She watched Nancy struggle to step out of her underwear without falling over and laughed again. "God, baby. You're so cute when you're annoyed. I mean you're always cute, obviously. But you're also always kind of annoyed? I don't know if it's a causation or a correlation situation but I feel like I could write a pretty compelling grant proposal to find out."

"I hate you," Nancy said again.

Robin let her stand back up this time. She missed the view immensely but any regret she felt was lost as soon as she got her hands back on Nancy's tits.

"You love me," Robin reminded her. Nancy tilted her head to the side and Robin took the hint, kissing her neck again where her hair fell away. "And I love you. We're very happy together in our little apartment a thousand miles away from the source of all of our deepest seated traumas. It's incredibly wholesome, actually."

She let her right hand fall, let her fingers trace a line down Nancy's stomach, too light, a ticklish teasing kind of half touch that made Nancy's muscles bunch up in self defense. Made Nancy squirm back into Robin's body where she stood, making herself unyielding, making herself hard. She ran her fingertips just barely, gentle as static, over the little tuft of hair between Nancy's legs, and felt her hiss in a breath.

"This doesn't feel very wholesome," Nancy grumbled.

Robin turned them both so they were facing the bed. "Go lie down," Robin said into Nancy's ear, not a whisper but almost that low. She gave her a little push to get her started, just a playful thing. "Please," she added.

Nancy gave her a withering stare back over her shoulder, but she walked, and Robin watched her go. It was only a few steps. Their apartment was tiny and their bedroom was tinier. But Robin savored those steps. Nancy's little butt was so cute Robin could barely maintain her composure. She wanted to get on her knees and just bite it. But Nancy didn't give her time. She moved with the same defiant confidence naked as she did in her clothes. Marching to bed like she was marching to war. Her posture was faultless, her back straight, shoulders square.

Maybe next time, Robin thought, I can make her balance a book on her head. She shook her head to clear the mental picture away, to clear away the threatening laugh with it. Nancy would shoot her, probably. She didn't like to look silly. She didn't like to feel like she wasn't being taken seriously. She didn't mind a little roughness, a little meanness even. But there were limits, there had to be. Even if Robin hadn't found them yet.

Nancy climbed into bed and laid there naked with her ankles crossed and her hands resting on her stomach. She looked impatient. She looked flushed, already, just a little. Just her cheeks, and probably her ears too, hidden behind her hair. Robin took a minute to just look at her. If this were a different story she might have dwelled on it, the difference between now and a few years ago, that lonely lovesick version of herself who would never have kept Nancy Wheeler waiting for even a second. But she took a second, now. A handful of them, even, until Nancy raised one indignant eyebrow like a challenge and Robin decided to call it enough personal growth for one day.

She climbed into bed fully clothed and turned on her side, her weight on one elbow so she could lean over Nancy the way she wanted to. She nudged Nancy's hands out of the way and ran her hand over Nancy's stomach again, letting herself feel the tensing muscles and that little bit of softness around her belly button. Robin knew Nancy's soft spots by heart, her hands were always drawn to them. Those little pinchable bits, those places she could grab hold of. She slid her hand up to cup Nancy's breast, a perfect handful.

She watched her hands on Nancy's body and she felt Nancy watching her face. Felt the waiting, to see what she would do next, as if she couldn't lose a whole day just doing this.

But it wasn't going to be that kind of day.

So she moved her hand up to Nancy's throat, to her jaw, and squeezed just enough to make her turn her head, to make her breath catch.

"Hey," she said. Nancy's eyes blinked closed but she opened them back up, dark. "Kiss me."

It wasn't a question. She wasn't asking questions, beyond the rhetorical. That was the rule.

She pulled Nancy closer and Nancy didn't fight it, she only rolled herself onto her side and pressed in tight, kissing Robin soft. Teasing little half open kisses, slow and light, all lips and no tongue. And Robin let it go on that way for a while, she loved Nancy's softness, after all. Her hands passed lazily over Nancy's ribs, her hip, her thigh when she lifted her leg to wrap it around Robin's, to get even closer.

Robin didn't press the action even though she knew Nancy wanted her to. Knew she expected it. She waited for Nancy to deepen those kisses, waited for her frustration to take over.

She got it before long. Nancy's impatience boiling over hot, her hands in Robin's hair and her tongue licking firm against Robin's lips. Robin grabbed Nancy by the ass and pulled her in rough against her jeans and she heard Nancy groan at the contact. Then she felt Nancy's fingers pop the pearl snap at the top of her button down shirt and she stopped.

"No," Robin said, pulling back. She was breathing almost as hard as Nancy was but she tried to pretend otherwise. She doubted it was especially convincing. "That's not what we're doing."

"That's not really fair," Nancy complained.

"I'm not really that worried about fair right now," Robin told her. She looked at Nancy's face. Her big blue eyes and her dark lashes. She skimmed her fingertips over Nancy's fine features. Those cheekbones, Her jaw. The perfect slope of her nose. Her kiss swollen lips and that soft little barely there cleft in her chin. She was so pretty. "Roll over." Robin told her. "I want you on your hands and knees."

If Robin had been standing up, the look in Nancy's eyes might have knocked her back down again. A cornered animal ferocity. Robin felt some twinge of sympathy for those idiots who kept tigers for pets. It was addicting to imagine yourself in control of something so powerful. She was addicted.

She watched Nancy obey, watched her love it and hate it. Watched her move her body with that dramatic bratty reluctance until she was right where they both wanted her to be.

"Now what?" Nancy asked. She was incapable of patience even on a good day.

Robin rolled out of bed and stood up. She felt Nancy watching her but she pretended not to care. She pulled out the lube from the bedside table and walked back around to the other side of the room where Nancy couldn't look at her so easily.

"What's that for?" Nancy asked.

"Squeaky hinge on the bathroom door, I thought I might attempt some home improvement while you're otherwise occupied," Robin said.

"Very funny."

"Ask stupid questions, get stupid answers," Robin muttered, just loud enough for Nancy to hear and to fume over. She tossed the bottle onto the bed by Nancy's feet before she grabbed the harness from her top dresser drawer. She could feel Nancy watching her again as she left the room.

"Where are you going?" Nancy called after her.

She didn't answer.

She could have put it on in the bedroom, of course. There was something to that, the quiet noise of it, the anticipation. Nancy craning her neck around to try and watch unless Robin wanted to tell her to keep her eyes on her own work, to keep them shut, to shut the fuck up and wait for it.

But she didn't want that right now. She wanted Nancy angrier, more put out. She put it on in the bathroom, adjusted it tight how she liked it. The toy was heavier than the one she was used to. When she pulled her jeans back up over and pushed it down and out of the way the base pressed into her almost uncomfortably. It felt good right now, though, as keyed up as she was. She poured a glass of water from the tap and drank it slowly, willing her heart rate down to something vaguely respectable, something mistakable for cool. It was not going to happen.

She didn't know how long she could push it. She wasn't honestly sure what she'd find when she walked back into the bedroom. But Nancy was still there, right where Robin had left her.

"What took you so long?" Nancy asked. She looked backwards at Robin with that fire in her eyes. "I'm cold."

Robin climbed into bed behind her, kneeling. She took in the view for a second, Nancy's naked body and the bulge in her jeans, and she decided Nancy was right, actually, about the shirt. It would only get in the way. She unsnapped it, one by one, the little clicks loud in their quiet room, the twinkling song of the music box having long since run its course. She threw the shirt onto the floor somewhere behind her. Maybe it would piss Nancy off enough when she found it that they'd have to do this all over again.

"Nancy," Robin laid her hands on Nancy's back, ran them down over the curve of her hips and her round little ass. "Nobody forced you to wait like this. You could have rolled over and tucked yourself under the covers. Hell, you could have gotten up and put your clothes back on and gone and made your fucking cookies. But you chose this." She trailed her hands down the backs of Nancy's legs and then back up again, digging her thumbs into that soft spot where her thighs met her ass, squeezing, spreading her open to get a better look. She was pink and perfect, glistening wet in the light. "Jesus, Nance." Robin ran a thumb down through her slit and over her clit, slow and deliberate, and Nancy let out hiss, a whimper, almost. "You're not fooling anybody. You're a mess, baby."

Robin rubbed her whole hand over Nancy's cunt, smearing her everywhere. Nancy was trying to grind into her palm, just a little, trying to find her fingers. She was whining, but she was holding back still, quiet. Polite, if you could call any of this that. In control. Robin wanted her feral.

She moved back a little bit, to give herself room to move, to get down lower. She gave Nancy what she wanted, in the meantime. Her fingers, her knuckles anyway, rubbing steady enough over Nancy's clit to settle her down, to stop her squirming.

"God, you're so pretty, you know that?" Robin watched her fingers play against Nancy's pussy, She licked her lips. "I mean of course you know that, it's like, your whole deal, right? She's so pretty. Everybody says so. They have no fucking clue, though, do they? God. If they could see you like this..."

"Robin-"

Robin never found out what Nancy was about to say. It was never really meant to be a conversation, anyway. She leaned in and stuck her tongue as far into Nancy as it would go, which really wasn't very far at all, but it didn't matter. That wasn't the point. It was the angle that did it, the position, the abject filthiness of it. Whatever it was, it was the most reliable way to shut Nancy up, and to make her scream at the same time. It turned her incoherent.

Robin got serious with her fingers, merciless on Nancy's clit while she fucked her with her tongue, her other hand grabbing hard into Nancy's left leg to keep her where she was.

Nancy came so fucking fast like this. Every time. It was only a matter of minutes, if that, before she was gushing around Robin's tongue and her knees were giving out underneath her. Robin was a little jealous, honestly. She was throbbing underneath the strap, half tempted to forget the thing entirely and just flip Nancy over and ride her face.

But that would be wasteful.

Robin wiped her hand off against Nancy's ass and then wiped her face with her other hand and did it again. She got back up on her knees.

"Come on, Nance. You know you're not done yet." She pulled Nancy back up again by her hips. It was easy right now, she had no fight in her for once in her life. It wouldn't last very long. Nancy Wheeler had near endless reserves of fight at her disposal, but Robin didn't intend to give her much of a chance to access them.

She grabbed Nancy by the hips again. She was slippery with sweat and with whatever was left on Robin's hands, so Robin just grabbed on tighter. She pulled Nancy back against her crotch and ground against her. All she got back was a low groan.

"You can do better than that," she said. She thrust up against Nancy again, hard this time, pulling her back by her hips at the same time. Nancy grunted, and Robin heard and felt the keys in her pocket crunch up against Nancy's ass, and she pictured the bruise that might leave. A perfect imprint of their apartment key maybe. A fucking Sam Adams bottle opener.

She sighed. "Fine. I guess I can just talk to myself. What else is new, right?"

She unbuckled her belt and watched Nancy's back straighten a little bit, she heard her breathing try to even out. She unzipped her pants and let them fall as far as they wanted to, catching on her hips somewhere, and she pulled the strap out of her pants and couldn't help but grunt a little bit at how good it felt to take that pressure off. It wasn't really meant to be worn under clothes, it had been pushing into her in ways that felt bad and good at the same time, but it felt very good now to let it slap down against Nancy's tight little ass.

"I love you," she couldn't help but admit. "I really fucking love you, you know that? Jesus."

She rubbed the fat head of the toy down against Nancy's pussy, just teasing, just watching herself jerk it off against her, not meaning anything by it yet, not really, but Nancy tried to pull away, and Robin had to grab her hipbone again to keep her still.

She sighed, and bent further down over Nancy until her hand was wound into Nancy's hair, close to the root. She pulled her upright that way, and Nancy ground out a noise that made Robin shiver. She forgot the toy for a second, let it press rudely into Nancy's back while she whispered in her ear. "Where do you think you're going, Nance."

"Fuck," Nancy gasped out, halfway back to having a brain capable of thinking, it seemed like. "Robin. What is that, it feels-"

Robin let go of her hair and pushed her back down onto her knees to press into her again, still just a threat, but Nancy's breath sounded so desperate for it she almost let it be more than that.

"It's bigger, yeah," she admitted. It wasn't any longer, really, than the other one they had. But it was thicker by a lot. Her right hand was back at Nancy's clit now, just keeping a lazy pace, and she angled the toy down to slide against her, so she could feel the head of it through her fingers. It did feel big. It felt good. Nancy was panting like she agreed. "I saw it and I thought of you. I mean who else would I think of, right? But I mean, I really, really thought of you. Just like this, honestly. Stretched out around me, and, just. Fucking-" She grabbed the lube off the bed and uncapped it, it was cold in her hand so she rubbed it warm up and down the shaft of the toy. "You're so wet for it, Nance. I could probably just fuck you dry, but I won't because I'm a really nice person and I love you. I really fucking love you, Nancy."

She slid the head of her cock into Nancy and Nancy let out a little cry, like a scream almost, like a really fucking nice scream. Nancy slapped the mattress with one hand and panted, but she didn't try to squirm away this time.

Robin looked down at her own naked chest, flushed and sweaty, her pants falling off of her hips, her dick pushing into Nancy's pink pussy, and she tried to form any kind of thought, any kind of gratitude, however profound, but all she could come up with was- Goddamn.

"Jesus, Nancy." Robin husked. She pushed in a little bit further, and it was so easy right now. Nancy was so ready for her. "Baking cookies? Who are you kidding?" She pressed in a little deeper, even, just a little bit. She was the one holding Nancy back now, keeping her from thrusting back into it. "Baby. Next time you want to play the perfect housewife why don't you save us both some time and just get on your knees."

She pushed all the way into Nancy now, not hard, just firm, just testing the length of it, seeing what she could take. Nancy took it all, all the way to the base. Robin pulled out and thrust back in harder, stuffing her, milking a scream out of her that had Robin halfway to coming already. The sounds and the visuals were overwhelming, pressing in hot at her temples. She watched Nancy's cunt take the strap like it was what she was built for and she felt herself grinding in harder at the end of every stroke, leaning into those cries and the feeling of her clit pressing against the base of the toy.

Nancy was so beautifully loud.

"Bite your fucking pillow, Nancy, unless you want the whole neighborhood to know how much you like it," Robin forced out. There was really no authority left in her voice, and Nancy didn't listen to her, wasn't listening to her probably at all anymore. Robin couldn't even be sure Nancy could hear her over the sound of her own wailing, a fucking cat in heat. Robin felt scruffed by the sound of her, just absolutely choked by it. All she could do was keep fucking her, keep her fingers working sloppy against Nancy's swollen clit and just keep pounding into her g spot until Nancy was squirting all over her crotch, her fucking jeans she was still half wearing for some reason. It was the hottest thing she had ever seen, and when Nancy tried to collapse down onto the bed again, Robin couldn't quite let her.

"Nance, baby. No," she panted. She yanked Nancy's ass back up against her, just fucking filling her up again. Nancy was almost sobbing now, and Robin sympathized, fully. She had tears in her own eyes. "Baby," she said again. "You're done when I'm done."

She was so close to done. So close it actually hurt. She fucked into Nancy a few more times, chasing a feeling she couldn't really get this way, grinding into her deep. Finally she loosed the d-ring on one side to let out some slack so she could get her hand in under the harness and she just jerked herself off, hard and fast, until she was coming, falling over Nancy's back, her face pressed into Nancy's spine, her strap still hilted, wedged against the back of her hand.

Nancy collapsed underneath her and Robin finally let her. She let the cock slip out of her and land loose down against her leg, the harness not really holding it in place anymore. She lay on Nancy's back for a minute just to catch her breath, too sticky and too hot and actually absolutely perfect. She could have probably fallen asleep like that if Nancy hadn't started squirming underneath her.

"Get off of me," Nancy laughed, hoarse. "I can't breathe."

"Sorry," Robin groaned as she rolled off to the side and onto her back. She felt the air on her chest and she wished it was colder. "Sorry," she said again, because she couldn't think of any other words.

Nancy reached over and wrapped one hand around the dildo experimentally. Robin groaned again at the sight of it.

"You're gonna make me want to fuck you again and I truly cannot right now," she laughed. For the third time she said- "I'm sorry."

"No," Nancy laughed softly. "No, I think I would die, actually. But no." She ran her hand up and down the shaft. "But this is good, though. I like it."

"I'm glad," Robin laughed. She was sleepy. She was dozing off with Nancy's hand on her fake dick. It was incredibly wholesome, actually.

"I'm hungry," Nancy mumbled into her armpit.

"We can order a pizza," Robin offered again.

"I don't want pizza," Nancy argued.

Robin laughed. "Jesus. Not this again."

"No," Nancy laughed too. "No. I want, um. I want a falafel."

"What?" Robin cracked up laughing. Her abs hurt. Her legs. She was fucking tired. It was hard work. She had worked hard. "Are you telling me this was all because of falafel?"

Nancy kept laughing, against her will it looked like. "No. It's- I mean. It's raining out. I didn't want to walk-" She slapped Robin in the chest when she wouldn't stop laughing. "It's not funny!"

Robin caught her breath and looked down at Nancy and her fucking doe eyes, begging. "Oh my god. Fine. Are you starving?"

"Yes," Nancy lied.

Robin sighed. "I hate you."

"No you don't. You're a very nice person and you love me," Nancy reminded her. Robin sighed, again, in defeat this time. "And I want it with pickles. And extra hot sauce. You have to watch them, too. They won't give you pickles unless you supervise them."

"I'm sure they love that," Robin muttered.

"Well. They always give me the pickles, but when you go get it they don't always. So either it's your fault or maybe they just don't respect you," Nancy suggested.

Robin started kicking her pants down her legs. She was going to need a shower anyway, and clean clothes, after everything Nancy had done to her.

"I'll just tell them it's for the small angry woman with the big hair," she said. "That should do the trick."

"There are probably a lot of small angry women there, if they don't get the pickles they ask for." Nancy rolled over and wrapped herself around Robin in a way that was going to make it very hard for her to get up and go out in the rain to get falafel.

"I think," Robin groaned. "That you are underestimating how memorable you are."

"Mmm," Nancy was all the way wrapped around her, a full body hug. Warm and soft and incredibly wholesome actually and apparently craving falafel, and the love of Robin Buckley's life, she was pretty ready to declare. "I mean I hope you remember me."

"Shut up," Robin laughed. She shut her eyes and wrapped her arms around Nancy.

"Robin?" Nancy asked her, quietly, when she didn't let go and she didn't get up.

"What?" Robin regretted it before she even knew why.

"Did you just come inside me?"

Robin opened her eyes and Nancy was already laughing, and Robin had no recourse but to push her off and roll out of bed.

"Shut up!" She called over her shoulder.

"No, baby," Nancy tried not to laugh. "It was really hot. Really. I loved it. Don't be embarrassed. I just think we should maybe have a conversation about whether we're ready to be parents-"

"Shut up!" Robin called over her shoulder as she stomped to the bathroom to take a shower.

"Pickles!" Nancy yelled before she could slam the door. "And extra hot sauce!"

Notes:

I have been (lovingly, i think) accused on multiple occasions of being unable to write smut without, like, a greater purpose. I guess one could argue that falafel is the greatest purpose of all, but anyway. This is my attempt to prove the (loving) haters wrong.

I would sincerely appreciate comments if you are inclined to give them. Thank you for reading!
