Work Text:

Dean jolted awake as his stomach growled. He had definitely eaten last night, he was sure, but between the liquor and the night with his girlfriend, Dakota, he couldn't remember. He sat up and gently caressed her cheek as he admired her beauty. The way her hair fell across her fair skin, her long lashes, and the softness of her lips parted slightly. He almost didn't want to wake her, but he was hungry and didn't want to go to the kitchen alone. As much as he didn't want to admit it, he had grown very fond of her and hated being alone now. “Hey, D.” He leaned over and whispered in her ear, “I'm hungry” She stirred a little at the sound of his voice, then rolled over to face him, blinking the sleep out of her eyes. She giggled quietly, not wanting to wake up fully, “Well go get something then” Dean frowned, “I don't want to go by myself. Come with me” She grumbled in response, “Ugh what time is it? It better be at least 4.” Dean smirked. “It's 2:12” She sighed. “You've got to be kidding.” “nope, but I have a shot of whiskey that says you will get up” “Fine.” She muttered and sat up, groaning a little as she rolled out of bed. After quickly slipping on his t-shirt from the table, she stood up and walked over to him, leaning down and kissing him on the cheek before taking his hand and dragging him /walking to the kitchen. Dakota tried to tip-toe past Sam and Olivia's door through the dark bunker hallways but Dean didn't seem to even try to be quiet. “That's rude you know,” Dakota said in a hushed whisper. “No I think it's payback from every restless night I had because of him” He replied in a very loud tone. She rolled her eyes but smiled at their brotherly “fights”
Dakota stood at the island in the kitchen watching Dean bring out a variety of condiments and foods. “Wow, it's like my own personal subway” She muttered under her breath. “Whatever. You love me.” Dean replied, sitting down a loaf of bread. Dakota's giggle couldn't help but slip out at his comment, and she looked at him affectionately before stepping up behind him and leaning over his shoulder. Her voice was low and quiet when she responded, "I love you too," and she kissed him on the cheek, her hair falling forward briefly to cover both of their faces. She was so at ease and comfortable in his presence. Anyone who saw the pair would've known from the start they would've been in love. Both with the same irrational and quick-to-fight thinking, more hands-on, of course, they kind of bumped heads but no two other people went together like Dakota and Dean. The way they fought could be mistaken as arguing or fighting with other people, but the way they laughed together and the ease with which they argued proved otherwise. Their affection for one another was obvious, and despite the way they butted heads often, they made it a point to never go to bed angry at the other. Even when they were in the middle of a heated argument or disagreement, they would pause quickly to make sure they both still loved each other. Dakota watched as Dean set the bread down so she started toasting some bread. Dean started making his sandwich a classic ham and cheese with an unhealthy amount of mayo that Sam always nagged him about but now in the kitchen alone with her, he didn't have to hear fussing. Dakota started to make her ham sandwich, realizing she had everything but the chips she went to the kitchen counter and tried to lean up to grab the cabinet door. Dean laughed at her as she tried to lean up to reach the cabinet above the counter, but she was obviously too short. She was almost a foot shorter than him, and he had never really noticed how big of a difference it was between the two of them until moments like these. "Hey, let me help you out with that," he said softly as he leaned in behind her and got out the chips. His muscular chest pressed up against her back and she found herself holding her breath. His cologne from the day before still lingered on his clothes behind her. Dakota always found herself entranced by his scent, the warmth of his muscles as they brushed against her. In moments like this, it was easy to imagine that he could just wrap his arms around her and she would melt into his touch. Dean noticed her change in her stance so he smiled slyly and sat the chips down. he let his arms run up and down hers while still behind her, "Something wrong sweetheart?"Dakota shivered a little as he slid his hands up and down her arms, a slight grin forming on her lips. She leaned back a little bit, bumping up against him and looking over her shoulder at him. "No, it's nothing," she muttered, trying to resist the urge to turn around and face him. But despite her efforts, she could see the faintest tinge of red in her cheeks as his touch caused her to blush. “Really? So if I did this it wouldn't bother you?” He spun her around and let his hands rest on the countertop behind her and leaned down, trapping her between him and the counter. Dakota's heart fluttered wildly in her chest as she looked up at Dean, her eyes wide as she looked up at him. As he pinned her against the counter with his hands, she let out a small gasp, the heat of his body engulfing her as he pinned her to the counter behind her. She felt powerless and breathless at the same time, her heart racing with excitement as she knew she couldn't resist him. “Uh-um” He smiled again and leaned down kissing her lips very slowly and teasingly at first. Her eyes closed as his lips touched hers, and she melted against him. Her body felt like it was burning with heat as they kissed, his hands pressed against her back as she melted into him. The kiss was getting more aggressive and deeper until his stomach growled again, this time very loudly. Dakota pulled back first, causing him to groan in disappointment. “You need to eat, and then we can finish that..” She smiled up at him and he kissed her forehead knowing she was right. He groaned quietly at her words but knew that she was right. He couldn't deny that the growl in his stomach was loud and it was becoming kind of annoying. And at the thought of finishing, a small smirk formed on his lips and he leaned in to kiss her again. "Right, eating," he said sarcastically, letting his hands slide down her body to take her hands in his. "And then maybe some dessert."
She sat on the counter as she finished up her sandwich, Dean had already eaten two and was starting to drink the whiskey straight out of the bottle. "Shouldn't you maybe calm down a little on the whiskey?" Dakota asked as she took a bite out of her sandwich, keeping her eyes on him because she couldn't help but admire his muscular frame. She knew he could handle his alcohol, but she didn't want him to get overly drunk or sick again. “Trust me, I'll pace myself this time.” She smiled and relaxed jumping off the counter to him to get a sip. They eventually found themselves dancing around, buzzing, laughing, and smiling. She laughed as they danced, her body swaying as she let herself get lost in the moment. She felt so dizzy from the alcohol and his touch but in a good way. She liked the sensation of feeling so carefree and letting herself get carried away just for the moment. She wasn't worried about anything, she was just dancing with Dean and enjoying being with him and the feeling the alcohol gave her. Dean felt the alcohol coursing through his veins, and he felt so much more relaxed now that he had had a few drinks. Dakota's body pressed into his, her hands wrapped around his waist and their lips pressed together as they danced around the kitchen. When they pulled apart to take a breath, he groaned quietly, the alcohol and her presence making his head feel light. At some point in the late night Dean had connected his phone to some sound system, grateful he finally learned how and was playing his usual rock music. “I Need You” By Lynyrd Skynyrd started to play, “It's our song, baby” Dean whispered in her ear. “You know I get so lonely That I feel I can't go on And it feels so good inside, babe Just to call you on the telephone” The song brought back so many memories of the two of them and the moments they had shared. She thought of the nights they had gone driving in the Impala, the way they would just get lost in the music and each other's company. She remembered the time he had taught her about the different kinds of creatures that existed and how to take them down. Her most vivid memory was of the first hunt they had gone on together, a vamp, and the way he had guided her through it and made her feel safe along the way. As they swayed, she got lost in the moment and the alcohol, feeling his body pressed against hers and their lips just brushing past each other ever so slightly. Their kiss was drunken, but loving and passionate. She wrapped her arms around him in a tight embrace, her hands resting on his back and neck, her thumbs lightly brushing the back of his neck. She pulled him closer to her, pressing her body against him and feeling the heat of their bodies together. When they pulled away, Dean couldn't help but feel his heart race with excitement as he felt their bodies brush against one another. His hands rested on her lower back, holding her tight against him as they danced, swaying to the music and feeling their bodies pressed together. She rested her forehead against his, her hair falling in front of her face as she swayed drunkenly with him. A slight grin formed on his lips as he took a second to appreciate the beauty of the moment and how at ease he felt with her. “I love you, Dakota,” He said and he did, truly. He never felt safer with anyone. Dakota made him feel like he could be himself without any fear of being judged. He felt at ease with her in an almost unexplainable way, and in that moment, he felt so lucky to have found her. “I love you too Dean.” They continued to dance around the kitchen together, being a little goofy and playful. The alcohol was starting to have a bigger effect on both of them and they were feeling a little less inhibited as they danced, laughed, and kissed. They were so in their own world that they didn't realize how late it had gotten until they heard the sound of footsteps approaching from another room. Sam and his girlfriend were awoken by the sound of pots and pans banging around in the kitchen. Sam was the one who got out of bed first, yawning and stretching as he pulled himself out of bed. "What the hell," he mumbled to himself as he got up to see what was going on. His girlfriend sat up in the bed, rubbing her eyes as she stared at him, "You hearing that too?" She giggled slightly though. She knew how her best friend and boyfriend's brother were. “Whiskey I bet.” "Goddamnit," Sam sighed, as she was giggling softly as she nodded. They both knew how it could get sometimes when those two got a few drinks in them. She was probably right about the whiskey, but they wanted to make sure nothing was wrong. So Sam stomped sassily down the hallway and she followed stumbling sleepily behind him. Olivia peeked around the corner laughing at the sight but tried to cover her mouth. “Look,” She whispered. Sam sighed looking at his brother dancing around like an idiot. Dakota was wearing his shirt, which made it even funnier since she was so much smaller than he was. It was obvious to anyone who saw the two of them that they were absolutely in love. Olivia was her best friend and a huge fan of the two of them as a couple. She loved to watch them being so goofy and playful and always smiled when she saw them together. Olivia grabbed Sam's hand to pull him back to their room seeing the couple was obviously fine. but then his phone rang loudly causing everyone to be quiet and blowing their cover. Sam sighed and answered the phone announcing to Dean and Dakota that they saw them. “Yeah, Bobby?” Olivia smiled knowing that probably meant a case and since their cover was already blown she walked to the island deeper into the kitchen. “So having fun?” She asked Dakota but by her blush, Olivia already knew she was. Dakota went to speak but then Sam walked back in and nodded towards the dean telling him to come to the hallway, to discuss their case the girls assumed. When they left the girls sat down, grabbed a Dr. Pepper and a MT Dew, and started to spill about both of their nights giggling very loudly and causing them to get some weird looks from the boys.
