A young lady stared down the large hole beneath her. She took a step forward with one leg and then quickly retreated it. She was frozen in fear and doubts if this was something she truly wanted to do. She heard tales of the underground ever since she was younger. Hearing stories of how humanity ganged together to defeat the big bad monster before sealing them in the underground...This very hole is what the tales said they would be...
So why? Why is she so hesitant on this? Those tales are nothing, but fairy tales right? Monster and magic don't exist so she should be fine...Right?
Her curiosity about the potential monster didn't outweigh the emotional turmoil she felt on the inside. One jump is all it takes for it to end it all.
It doesn't take long before the voices in her head to raise up again. One louder than the others
'Why can't you do anything right?! You're a disgrace to the company's name'
Tears fell from her eyelids once she heard the familiar yelling in her mind.. That was the final straw to her decision. She took one last look at her surrounding before making the jump for it
Little does she know this is just the beginning of her new life and journey in the underground....
