Basen deadpaned at the (thief? Honestly he didn't know) guy he knocked down.
"Oh my gosh..... who is this guy?" Basen tucked his book under his arm and scratched his head.
"Is....is this a side effect?" Basen knew, of course, that his supposed 'brother' wasn't really his brother at all. Not biologicaly, and not even in a spiritual sense. His 'brother' (or should he say Kim Rok Soo) was extremely reckless, if he was to say it politely.
Well, one thing was for sure. He did not like this new brother at all. Sure, he elevated the county to a dukedom, but at what cause? His own! He had to deal with everything as an official heir to the dukedom, from the paperwork to the socialising!
If Basen wasn't pitiful, he didn't know what was. At a mere 14 years old, he was basically already the Duke. His father was stepping back, his brother never really worked, if you know what he means. His brother just slept all day, with everyone waiting at his command, even dragons.
But all Basen wanted to do was sleep. He just wanted to do everything a normal kid could. Just for once.
But all these thoughts flew away because
'Oh my god the guy was waking up-!'
