Question
Do parallel universes exist?
A never-ending debate that is basically impossible to be resolved due to our own lack of power, we barely have an understanding of our own galaxy let alone the universe or any universes outside it.
This gives leeway for authors of fiction to use the concept in a variety of ways that may differ from the actual truth with various stories drawing on the butterfly effect and exclaiming that, for every possible occurrence there is an alternate universe for that occurrence that can change drastically depending on the change in events.
Is that not then the Ultimate freedom? The multiverse of infinite possibilities based on an infinite number of actions, if we want to procrastinate then can we use the multiverse as an excuse, saying that another version of ourselves didn't procrastinate and that somewhere out there, if something terrible happened in your past then you can make do with the knowledge that a version of you didn't have to experience the same things you did.
Such thoughts are used as comfort when faced with a situation one doesn't like and are likely to be forgotten as an irrelevant possibility
Thinking about such useless things gets me nowhere
or at least that's the line of logic I've followed so far in my life since a version of me that was free had no bearing on my own life whatsoever.......
But as I rummage through my phone with my mouth agape and stumble onto a picture I don't ever remember having, I may have to consider taking up alternative thoughts on the matter

Don't see too many fics making any of the characters react to the anime or manga universes, many small changes can be expanded on in exciting ways other than a reaction fic but since this is my first fanfic, I'm probably touching something too big for my boots
