Conductor had been wandering around for a while in Subcon Forest, although he hated the place, he was simply looking around to see if Snatcher was somewhere there, since Hat Kid said she hadn't found him anywhere around, so Conductor went to look for himself. After not finding Snatcher anywhere, and with the sun starting to set soon, Conductor simply decided on heading home, he wasn't too worried because Snatcher can fend for himself if something were to happen.
As he was walking home, he decided on taking a more scenic route. It wasn't too late, and he'd be home before it got too dark out, so he headed more towards where the beach would be. He wasn't intending on actually going on the sand, because he wasn't really dressed right for it, he would just walk along the grassy area higher up.
To Conductor's surprise, he spotted Snatcher already there, looking out towards the water, admiring the sunset, Conductor then walked over to him.
“Snatcher? I never took ya fer tha type ta wanna watch a sunset…”
“... Well, I just thought it'd be… Nice… I mean, it's always dark in my forest, and… It's been forever since I've seen a sunset…”
Conductor sat down next to Snatcher, he also felt like watching the sunset for a while. The 2 of them sat in silence for a while, until Snatcher broke the silence.
“... It's beautiful, isn't it? With all the colors, and the light reflecting on the water, it's… Pleasing, to look at…”
“Aye, I can agree with ye on that… Although, one of my younger brothers would disagree, not because it doesn't look nice, it's just because they peckin’ hate tha beach, always been afraid o’ water…”
“That's fair, the ocean can be a scary place, with all the unknown things mortals haven't even discovered down there…”
Another small silence between the 2, simply just spent admiring the sunset, before Snatcher broke the silence again.
“... You close with your brother…?”
“Aye, me n’ me 3 brothers, we're very tight-knit…”
“... You should keep it that way, cherish the time you have with them, because… You never know when they could suddenly get taken from you so soon…”
That led to another small silence, before Conductor put a reassuring hand on Snatcher's arm.
“... Is there somethin’ ya wanna talk about…? That was a bit too specific fer it ta not have happened to ya…”
“... No… Maybe another time…”
Conductor sighed and nodded, completely understanding that Snatcher probably wasn't ready to open up about his past, he took his hand off Snatcher's arm, and instead opted for slightly shifting over, close to Snatcher. It definitely didn't go unnoticed, as Snatcher put his arm over Conductor's shoulder and pulled him in closer to him, leaning his head on Conductor's shoulder.
