Eternity & Loneliness

Summary:

“< Where has this sweet flower been blooming? >”
Izuku’s breath caught in the lowest part of his chest, nearly making him choke. Katuski’s words weren’t spoken in Japanese, or even in English, the two main languages of their company. He spoke in Persian, a long dead dialect, too. Izuku understood him perfectly. It wasn’t his mother tongue, and honestly Izuku didn’t even remember which was his first language anymore. No one alive (minus a few very skilled scientists) could translate, let alone speak ancient Persian this well. The only way to get the accent and inflection correct was to live it.  But it wasn’t just the language, Katsuki was reciting a poem that Izuku knew had burned in the library of Alexandria.

Work Text:

Eternity wasn’t all it’s cracked up to be. Izuku learned that the hard way, many…many times over. There was something merciful about knowing one’s mortality. But when mortality never comes, you do everything and anything you can to keep yourself from going mad with boredom. It’s the little things that matter. Walking on the beach, learning to play an instrument, reading every book you can get your hands on like you might starve without them.

Izuku had spent eternity doing the little things. But the last few years, he really, truly, felt like none of it mattered. He was bored. Boredom was a terrible thing when you had forever to fill and not just an hour or a day.

He should be sleeping, but instead, he was leaning on a balcony railing. The hotel he was staying at for the weekend had a party deck which was unoccupied but for a couple enjoying quiet drinks in the corner. A cigarette burned between his fingertips and he lazily brought it to his lips every so often for a pull. It was already one am and he usually tried to keep a firm sleep schedule, to appear normal. However, if he wanted, he could go several days without sleep. It wasn’t healthy, but it wouldn’t affect him like it would everyone else.

Izuku loved hotels. They were a calming sort of liminal space; an in between. Izuku himself felt like a living liminal space. Could a person be both alive and dead at the same time?

Izuku was not living dead, or UNdead, or any of the traditional ideas surrounding immortality. He simply…was. He had always been. He didn’t actually remember when he was born, or what his mother’s voice sounded like, or what his sister’s face looked like. Memory was a fickle thing. He might be a living relic, but a large chunk of his formative memories had already decayed into dust.

He drew the cigarette to his lips and shifted his weight to his other foot. Tonight had been some fancy party for some young gun getting promoted to CEO. The company they worked for was a large hedge fund. Izuku had always kept busy, but he’d never actually had the motivation to climb the ranks of social or employment hierarchy. At least, not dramatically. He was an executive; the work was easy and he had the collective experience to back up his confidence in the office. So, he’d been invited to the party for the executives to meet the new CEO and unwind.

Izuku had not actually met the new CEO. He’d put on his fanciest green slip dress with a golden belt that jingled when he walked, his best boots, and tugged his curls up into a makeshift bouquet atop his head. The thin dress on his lithe male body had raised a few eyebrows. But he made himself a fly on the wall, which he was incredibly good at, despite the fancy dress. He saw a few flashes of blonde spikes with a shaved undercut, and a very expensive red pinstripe suit, but that was it. No one introduced him because he’d sat himself right in the corner behind a few co-workers and drank to his heart’s content - which is to say he drank everyone else under the table.

Alcohol and drugs didn’t affect him at all. He could taste them, of course, but his body didn’t process any of it. So he drank and smoked for pleasure and taste instead of the effect.

When his cigarette burned down, he pressed the butt into an ashtray sitting on the balcony and pulled another one out. Before he could light it, an extended hand with a lighter flicked to life a few inches from his face. Izuku’s eyebrows shot up in surprise. It was incredibly hard to sneak up on him. Izuku had a weirdly amazing sixth sense for human beings. He could tell they were there without looking. He could count how many bodies were in a room from behind a closed door. So someone getting this close, unnoticed, was entirely unusual.

“I would remember seeing someone this well dressed at my party, how have I not met you yet?”

Izuku’s emerald irises slid to the side, finding their new CEO standing beside him, lighter still brandished and lit. Izuku dipped his head just enough to puff his cigarette to life on the offered flame. For a few minutes, he said nothing. He blinked slowly and blew smoke towards the blonde beside him. There was no reaction, which was odd. Not even a batting of an eyelash at the smoke billowing around the man’s face.

Izuku offered a hand. “Izuku Midoriya. I’m one of your chief analysts.”

“Interesting.” The blonde took his hand and bent down to kiss it as if Izuku were a high class lady from Victorian England. Actually, his whole body spoke of affluence and grooming so the man's reaction was pretty suited to the situation. The real shock was this new CEO caught on to that vibe and played it up. “Katsuki Bakugou. Chief Executive Officer.”

Izuku looked back out across the city, cigarette forgotten between his fingers as his arms hung loosely down over the railing. He had always been content with silence, with space. He had all the time he wanted, after all, so he never felt the need to fill it with words or actions. Perhaps that’s why he had been getting bored recently. Most average folks didn’t share this mentality, though. They hated silence.

“So, Izuku, how long have you been working for the company?”

“Hmm.” He wasn’t likely to answer that question honestly. Izuku had played some dirty tricks on their HR department to keep his job suspiciously long. “A few years, now.” A vague answer was always best.

“I see.” Katsuki leaned himself on the balcony, mere inches from Izuku’s shoulder. “What exactly is your job duty as a chief analyst?”

Izuku grinned as he finally brought his cigarette up for a puff before speaking. Ironically, he actually enjoyed his job, and enjoyed discussing it even more.

“My department calls me ‘The Hatchet’. I analyze our finances with prejudice. I was hired specifically to be the last line of defense against fraud, embezzlement, and a wide variety of other issues that may come up. I’m the one who keeps the company in line, and on the right side of our legal department, and the law.”

“Why do they call you The Hatchet?”

“I’ve gotten at least a dozen executives and underwriters fired in the last two years alone. Of course, it wasn’t personal. They were involved in illegal activities. I did my job. But that still puts the fear of God in the department I oversee.”

Katsuki laughed, baritone and robust. Izuku had the desire to press his ear to the man’s chest and listen to him laugh all night long. The way it echoed off the glass doors of the balcony made Izuku’s ears ring; he liked it. The man sighed deeply at the end of his laugh while his hand came up to untangle his rather regal looking tie at the top of his shirt. He also unbuttoned his first three buttons.

Izuku caught a flash of his skin, and it wasn’t just skin. Katsuki was covered from neck down(as far as Izuku could see) in tattoos, traditional in nature. Normally, those were the kind you’d associate with the Yakuza, though he knew that group was all but dead these days. Izuku himself may have had something to do with it, but he’d never admit to it. Taking another drag, he smothered the cigarette in the nearest ashtray and spun himself so he could lean his elbows on the railing and face the hotel behind them.

In this lounged position, he could extend his legs and let his slip dress hike precariously high on his thigh. It was a temptation, an open offer that not everyone would catch or even be looking for. Katsuki caught it. Izuku watched in slow motion as the look in the blonde’s eyes turned from calm excitement to languished desire. A little smirk formed at the edge of Izuku’s lips.

“Why did they pick you?” Izuku finally broke the silence, his head tipping to the side with a jingle of metal. He had several earrings in as well as little pins and decorations in his hair. Every inch of him was covered in green and gold, like an offering to the Gods, or perhaps a blessing from the Gods; almost too good to be true. That was the trick, he was too good to be true.

“I couldn’t say.” Katsuki inched himself closer, this time placing his arm around Izuku’s front to grab the railing under his opposite arm. They were still side to side but now with Katuski’s arm crossing Izuku’s chest. “I believe it was my resume that sparked their interest.”

Izuku scoffed. “Oh come on, spill your secrets. We all know they wouldn’t care if you were the perfect candidate on paper, a CEO isn’t picked for his straight A’s in college or his work in the peace corps.”

A look of faux shock crossed Katuski’s face.

“How did you know I worked for the peace corps?”

“Lucky guess.” Izuku rolled his eyes but despite his best attempts, he chuckled.

“Honestly, though, the board didn’t explain why they chose me over the other candidates. But, if I were to guess, I would say it likely has to do with my innate charm.”

“Oh! Is that so?” Izuku exclaimed, laughing more openly this time.

He had to admit, Katsuki was charming. Too charming for Izuku’s good. He could see it now that it had been brought up; there was something inhuman about the blonde. The average person wouldn’t catch it, not in a million years. But Izuku was not the average human. Some days he wondered if he was human at all.

The ghostly ash tone of Katsuki’s blonde’s spikes was too perfect for a dye or bleach job. His skin was too smoothe, too spotless. His nails were carefully manicured and filed. Most men wouldn’t even notice it, but Izuku did the same to his own nails. There was just something…ethereal about Katsuki. Izuku hated it, perhaps because he saw himself the same way. While it might be useful for charming humans into doing whatever he might want, Izuku’s gut had a longstanding twist of guilt buried within it as a result.

Turning his head to the side, he looked out over the city and sighed.

“Mmm it is.” Katsuki finally replied. “But my usual charms don’t seem to be working on you. At least, not like I imagined they would.”

A finger slipped under Izuku’s chin and drew his face back gently. Katsuki’s hand was colder than it should be, and matched Izuku’s perfectly. Most people were far too warm for Izuku’s liking. He tolerated it, but it always felt gross to be covered in human warmth. However, Katsuki’s hand was exactly the same temperature as his own, and Izuku barely felt that finger ghosting across his chin.

But it wasn’t just the language, Katuski was reciting a poem that Izuku knew had burned in the library of Alexandria. He swallowed the lump in his throat but his voice still shook when he replied.

<On the shores of Sidon.>

<Oh the darics I would offer for only one petal.> ” The blonde’s eyes fluttered closed with his words, as if he were reciting them from a memory he couldn’t quite place. Izuku felt an incalculable sense of familiarity from the gesture.

<All the siglos in the world could not purchase me.> ” Izuku replied, breathless, ending the poem.

Katsuki’s face was far too close. Bright red eyes snapped open, capturing Izuku. They were dancing on a razor’s edge, the balcony had vanished, they were in a void with nothing but endless time and space to accompany them, and both were in complete comfort. This was their home, their very being.

A split second or several hours could have passed between them, Izuku wouldn’t have known the difference. He wouldn’t have cared, either. But as their bodies closed the distances between them at every angle and corner, Izuku felt a sense of coming home overwhelm his mind.

Katsuki’s sudden kiss wasn’t just hungry, it was ravenous . His hands gripped like he was tearing bread for his supper. His lips bit and sucked like he might eat Izuku from the inside out. His whole body was smothering the smaller immortal. Izuku had never once, in his very long life, felt so visible; so seen. Katsuki didn’t just melt him with a kiss, he worshiped Izuku with every touch. His lips were silent prayers to an ancient God only they could put a name to.

“Ka-ngh! Kacchan!” Izuku stumbled over the name, fumbling enough to just butcher it but the blonde didn’t seem to mind. Instead, Katsuki huffed a laugh against his skin. His tongue lashing a stripe from the deep cowl of his slip dress on his chest all the way up over his shoulder until it met his ear. The blonde growled in his ear and easily picked Izuku up off the ground with one arm by the waist.

<I’m not letting you sleep alone tonight, little flower.>

Izuku couldn’t speak. He nodded, his face bright red and his eyes hooded with a desire that hadn’t filled him this eagerly in eons. Thankfully, the couple on the balcony with them had left long ago. Their little trieste was a secret, their ancient voices mixing only with the night sky and left over cigarette smoke.

The walk up to Katsuki’s hotel room felt like a drunken parade through the halls. Izuku’s body was practically limp in his partner’s arms, intoxicated on the very words he spoke, on each little nip and peck at his bare neck and shoulders. Was this truly just an ancient need filling him, or was there something more? If Katsuki truly was like him, did their proximity relieve some unknown ache they both shared? Did it draw them together somehow?

The clatter of the door closing startled Izuku back into the moment. Katsuki had him pressed up against the back of the door, with both hands beside Izuku’s head, looming over him.

“Who are you, really?” Katsuki whispered. His left hand caressed down the side of Izuku’s face, sending shivers spiraling across Izuku’s neck and down his spine. “Are you like me?”

“I don’t know.” Izuku’s voice was just as quiet when he finally found it again. “I have always…been.”

If he spoke too loud, it would be real. If he shouted the truth to the mountains he would be admitting to the great horror he feared too often; that he was utterly alone in his own eternity. But if Katsuki truly was like him - immortal - then maybe he wasn’t so alone in the end.

Izuku lifted a hand to Katsuki’s chin, tipping his head upwards to get a good look at the blonde’s neck. The line of his tattoos stopped just under his collar, easily hidden by his nice button down suit shirt. Speaking of nice shirts, Katsuki’s clothes were high quality; expensive. The suit he had on was un-creased and smooth despite their messy and stumbling walk upstairs. Izuku let his fingers trail down and trace over the line between unblemished skin and tattoos. Katsuki’s eyes fluttered closed, he leaned into the touch with a very low rumbling in his chest.

“You don’t have a word for it, do you?” The CEO asked.

Izuku shook his head. “No.”

“I don’t either.” Katsuki stepped backwards, releasing Izuku from the wall. He tipped his head forward to kiss Izuku’s fingertips before spinning on his heel and heading to the kitchen. Izuku followed without question.

Izuku realized he was in the penthouse suite. It looked like an upscale inner-city apartment, with a full kitchen, bathroom, and bedroom separate from the living room. The architecture was modern and minimalist. It suited Katsuki, but it was far too little for Izuku’s tastes. He certainly had nothing against gray stone and marble, but he really preferred country kitchens and eclectic collections of antiquities on every wall.

Katsuki grabbed two wine glasses from a hanging rack and a bottle of chilled red wine to pour for them. Izuku slipped himself between the counter and the blonde pouring them wine, making no attempt to be discreet.

“Is this real?” Izuku asked. His fingers slid up Katuski’s chest, over his shoulders, and helped the blonde shuck his suit jacket. It fell to the floor without regard and would likely need to be ironed later. Izuku could buy Katsuki a new one if it got too wrinkled. Next, he worked his fingers over each button of the blonde’s shirt while they spoke; he really wanted to inspect those tattoos closer.

Katsuki grabbed his hands, shoved them aside, and devoured his lips for a second time. Izuku’s eyes rolled back in his head as he groaned into the kiss. His body was hoisted up onto the counter. The wine glasses shattered on the floor along with the whole bottle. Izuku’s green dress and Katsuki’s white shirt were both stained with red splatters but neither of them stopped to give their ruined outfits any regard.

Izuku hiked his dress up to his waist so he could wrap his legs around Katsuki and hug him closer. The blonde once more grabbed his hands but this time he locked Izuku’s wrists behind his back with just one large palm. The other hand caressed the side of his face and dove up into his hair, pulling the large pin that held his curls into a bouquet atop his head. His hair bounced free, cascading down his shoulders and back with a jingling of jewelry. Izuku had never seen fit to cut much of his hair, and the green curls fell about waist length at this point, before being straightened, covered in little metal rings and jewels that tinkled when he walked.

“Does it feel real?” Katsuki finally responded.

Izuku tipped his head back, looking at Katsuki though his bottom lashes. Did it feel real?

“Yes.” It did, it did, it does.

It felt more real than just about anything Izuku had ever done or experienced in his life prior to this moment. Katsuki was quick to grab his offered throat and leave biting kisses along supple flesh until he found the straps to Izuku’s dress. Hungry teeth ripped thin straps. The silk dropped silently to Izuku’s waist, exposing his torso. The skin was perfect, or it would be, if it were not interspersed with a constellation of scars and old wounds. Izuku looked away, his cheeks heating up at his exposure. But Katsuki was quick to draw him back.

“You’re beautiful.” He mumbled, right against Izuku’s lips. Their tongues collided, fought for dominance, and Izuku won for a time. Katsuki leaned himself forward, pressing Izuku’s back (and his locked hands) to the counter. The blonde’s free hand groped his thigh and drug his nails up to clutch the roundness of his ass. Izuku arched his back, calling out a whine. His barely concealed erection was crushed between their stomachs and he desperately wanted to free it.

“Kacchan!” Izuku hiccuped.

“I’m right here, my little flower. Right here.”

“Nnnng- please…”

“Hmm?” Katsuki lifted his head. “What’s wrong?” He stopped moving and Izuku managed a full breath and gathered his will to speak.

“Mmm, please, stop teasing.”

“Oh? Then what would you have me do?”

“Don’t act like you can’t figure it out.” Izuku grumbled.

“Clearly I have no idea what you’re talking about. If you want something…” Katsuki got right into his face, those blazing red irises searing into Izuku’s soul as he growled his next words: “Use your words like a big boy and ask for it.”

Izuku’s head thumped back on the marble counter, his breath coming in ragged gasps.

“Fuck.”

“Yeah?” Katsuki was grinning. “Is that what you want?”

Izuku swallowed hard, struggling to stay focused with the blonde looming over him, their bodies still crushed together. Every so often, Katsuki would grind himself against Izuku, teasing him miserably. Izuku wanted to smack him, or maybe kiss him again. Giving in to that need, he tried to capture Katsuki’s lips, only to have his partner pull back and deny him. They both moved up, once more standing upright. Well, Katsuki was standing, Izuku was still tangled on the countertop.

“Na uh - you get nothing until you ask.”

Izuku whined and tightened his legs around Katsuki’s wait.

Fine. He’d give in. He’d concede. He’d beg.

“Please.” He leaned in, trying and failing over and over to steal Katsuki’s lips. “Please, touch me, ravage me. I think I have waited forever for this moment, for you, all my life.” His tongue easily slipped into that older language they both shared. “ <Will you come to the shores of Sidon for me?>

A guttural rumbling echoed through Katsuki’s chest. Izuku blinked and the bedroom door was thrown open and Izuku himself was being carried to the bed. Speed was another miracle of their strange unnamed immortality. They could, at will, propel themselves forward through space. It took a good chunk of energy, but Izuku had a feeling they’d both be expending a lot of energy tonight.

At the last second, Katsuki threw his body to the bed. Several pieces of jewelry clattered to the floor as they were shook free of his hair and body. Izuku brushed his hands up over his head, untangling several dangling golden clips and accessories to leave the room littered with pieces of himself.

“<All the gold and emeralds in Egypt would pale in comparison to you.>”

Izuku slowly pulled the zipper on the side of his dress and unlatched the belt, finally freeing himself from the last scraps of clothing still clinging to his body. If eyes could burn, Izuku would have melted there on the bed from the look Katsuki was giving him. Katsuki’s voice had been dripping with desire, and Izuku believed him. For the first time in his life, he truly believed he was more beautiful than all the riches in the desert.

“<Would you compare me to the Gods?>” Izuku trailed his left hand down his own body while his right mirrored the movements on Katsuki’s. When he came to the blonde’s pants, his fingers tucked into the top of his pants and pulled him close with a swift jerk.

A devious smirk crossed Katsuki’s face. He slowly unbuckled his black leather belt and unzipped his pants as he spoke. “<I should know better. I really should. To compare you to the Gods might anger them.>”

“<Have you changed your mind, then? Am I not so beautiful?>”

“<You misunderstand me, little flower.” Katsuki leaned down to punctuate his words with kisses. “<If I were to compare you to the Gods, they would see that I am right, you are more beautiful than any among them. And I would offer myself to the pyre of their anger to prove it.>”

Izuku leaned his head back, his hair curled around him like a halo on the bed. He had never felt so worshiped, so loved. Katsuki’s face trailed down his chest, kissing his way to Izuku’s nipples where he bit and sucked the sensitive skin, sending shivers down along his spine. His back slowly arched off the back, his fingers tangling in the silken sheets as the blonde continued to kiss his way down Izuku’s body.

Izuku let out a single slow breath while his fingers tangled themselves into Katsuki’s short spiky hair.

“<Say it.>” He begged.

Katsuki’s lips paused right at the base of his dick. Izuku could feel his hot breath repeatedly warming his skin, making his erection even more painful and needy. His hips writhed on the bed but he tried to be patient. His patience paid off. Katsuki lapped his tongue up the length of Izuku’s dick, flicking the tip as he spoke.

“<Your beauty is more than even the rarest flower among the Field of Reeds.>”

Izuku could not hold back the low moan that bounced off the walls. His body was suddenly yanked to the edge of the bed, leaving his legs to hang off while Katsuki settled right between his legs. Once more his tongue lavished Izuku’s thighs, running right up the underside of his erection. The rush of tingling pleasure jolted through Izuku’s brain. His toes splayed on the ground, pressing his hips up off the bed, which left Katsuki almost nuzzling his dick.

“<You, my exquisite desert rose, will be my downfall. The Gods will drag me to the Duat for my transgressions, but should I have only a moment in your arms, I would run to the underworld as a man who has seen Heaven before he reached Hell.>”

Izuku swore he could see heaven already, just from his lover’s words. His eyes rolled back as Katsuki’s whole mouth wrapped around his shaft finally, oh, finally giving him what he wanted. The push of his hips met in time with the pull of Katsuki’s lips, pumping his body into the blonde’s mouth while his partner barely budged. Their movement was pure instinct, as if they were made for each other. Their curves fit inhumanly well, their thoughts in rhythm without the need for communication.

Katsuki’s right hand slipped up Izuku’s chest and pinched his nipple, making Izuku’s body jerk off the bed with a choked moan.

“Kaachan!” He gasped. He was so close to reaching either climax or Godhood and frankly, he wasn’t sure which he’d prefer right now. But Katsuki refused him both. His mouth popped off Izuku’s dick, saliva forming a bridge between them as they both caught their breath, overheating, into the already steaming bedroom. Before Izuku could form proper words to ask why Katsuki stopped, the blonde flipped him over and shoved him up on the bed one leg at a time.

Ass up, knees on the bed, and face buried in a pillow, Izuku’s backside was assaulted immediately. Izuku cried into the pillow, gasping his moans and mumbling his pleas. Katsuki’s tongue was all but shoved into him, and the sudden influx of pleasure was almost enough to send Izuku right over the edge. But Katsuki knew what he was doing, he never allowed Izuku to get that far.

“Please!” Izuku begged. “Please, I need to- ngah!” His words were cut off by Katsuki’s hand grabbing his painfully stiff dick hanging between his legs. Still, it wasn’t enough! It would never be enough when he knew Katsuki was there. Izuku had always had a hard time climaxing with humans. But now that he knew Katsuki was with him, and was made for him , there was no way he would reach Heaven without Hell pushing him off the stairs first.

“Tell me what you want, little flower.” Katsuki’s voice was rough but muffled against Izuku’s ass. He barely stopped his ministrations all the while, and gave another firm tug as he finished speaking. Izuku’s eyes rolled back in his head and he gasped for breath as he tried to form words again.

“Please!” He was on the verge of screaming. “Please…please, take me, fuck me, God, please!”

Katsuki growled. “I’m the God now, am I?” He stood up, discarding his pants in the process.

Izuku shivered at the sight of him. Perhaps he was a God, he certainly looked like Adonis standing over Izuku. That wicked grin said he already owned Izuku’s soul, and the smaller immortal had no argument for that

“Then perhaps you should worship me instead.” Izuku’s lover enveloped him, chest to back, at every curve and corner, with one arm around his neck. “<sing for me, little flower.>”

Izuku saw stars as Katsuki quickly worked his dick into Izuku’s ass, that harsh sting of being just barely prepared enough struck Izuku’s brain stem like an electric shock. And oh, Izuku sang his prayers. Each thrust of Katsuki’s hips had Izuku screaming into the pillow. The second their bodies converged, Izuku’s mind spun sideways into oblivion. He could feel the coolness of his lover’s skin against his own, similar to ice fusing together in the winter. Izuku dug his fingers into the sheets, disregarding the sound of threads popping from his well manicured nails pulling the fabric. Katsuki kissed the back of his shoulder, up along his neck and to the base of his ear.

“<What beauty you’ve brought to my altar.>”

Katsuki grabbed the back of his head with one hand while the other looped under his arm and held his chest. Izuku was pulled upright onto his knees, the pace of Katsuki’s thrusts slowing to an insufferable grind, were he not already on the verge of climax, he might have screamed at his partner for his teasing. Lips found his shoulder, Izuku’s head fell to the side to allow Katsuki better access to his neck. Each kiss and stroke of the blonde’s tongue was a cool balm to Izuku’s heated lust.

The hand splayed on his chest finally sank lower, caressed his abdomen, and grabbed his throbbing dick. The rush of pleasure made his body jolt forward as much as the fingers tangled in his long curls would allow. Katsuki took that as permission to bend them both forward slightly, enough to give him leverage to slam his hips into Izuku’s ass with unrestrained hunger. Katsuki’s teeth clenched around his yielded throat, threatening to break skin just to sate himself.

Izuku was breathless, gasping with eyes rolled back into his head while Katsuki stroked him quickly, bringing him those last couple feet to the ledge he’d been promising to throw Izuku off all night. Katsuki’s tongue slipped up his neck and around his face to lap up the drool falling across Izuku’s chin and the tears falling from his eyes.

“<Look at you, the most perfect desert rose, an open flower, just for my pleasure.>” Katsuki’s voice was thick, a feral growl buried in his throat. “<Come for me, little flower. Please, worship me one last time>”

“Kacch-nnngah!” Izuku’s hands reached out for anything they could grab hold of, arm arm, a shoulder, even Katsuki’s short blonde spikes.

Those guttural words, a request for Izuku to let go, to lose his mind to the pleasure. What a beautiful idea. Izuku felt it rushing towards him, unstoppable. His mind blanked white, static filling his ears. His body froze, muscles spasming in tight waves as his dick spilled across the bed in front of them. Katsuki’s hips continued to bruise Izuku’s ass with each thrust, once, twice, then finally they thrust once more and stopped against him. The cry of pleasure that ripped itself from Katuski’s throat would be burned into Izuku’s mind for the rest of his very long life.

They both collapsed to the bed, exhausted. Not once in his life had Izuku been satisfied in sex. Not once had he found someone who could actually make him feel touched; seen in a way that was far deeper than just being naked on the bed. His soul laid bare before the tattooed blonde and Izuku had no desire to hide himself.

Katsuki brushed a hand through his long curls, wiping the sweat from his brow so he could press a kiss to Izuku’s temple.

“How lucky I am to have found you.”

Izuku smiled. “Perhaps we were just waiting for each other.” Izuku cupped Katsuki’s face to pull him down for a chaste kiss. “Some part of me has never known the feeling of home, not until I was caught in your arms.”

“I’ve been so lonely.” Katsuki growled, his hips grinding against Izuku’s, reigniting the flame in the pit of his stomach. “I want to spend eternity with you.”

Izuku spun himself sideways, just enough that they could stare into each other's eyes without straining. He traced the lines of Katsuki’s tattoos along his shoulder and arm for a few silent moments. The blonde was looking down at him with hope and fear, as if he worried Izuku might refuse him.

Never.

Izuku was home.

“How long is eternity?” He finally asked, a grin on his lips.

Katsuki snorted. “Sometimes.” The blonde leaned down and kissed his cheek. “Just one second.”

“Then I will spend all my seconds with you, and they will add up to an eternity, and divide our loneliness in half, maybe then it would be easier for us both to bear.”

Katsuki sat them up, just as the sun was coming over the horizon and through the window. The sun warmed Izuku’s pale skin, sweat sparkling across his chest. Izuku draped his arms around Katsuki’s shoulders and kissed just beneath his ear.

“<A rose that lives forever in bloom.>” Katsuki nuzzled into his face. “<How shall I nurture it?>” Izuku closed his eyes as the sun streamed across their faces, heralding another day, another step towards their eternity. “<Will my devotion for a century be enough?>”

“<No.>” Izuku cracked open one eye to watch the grin appearing on Katsuki’s face. “<I demand nothing less than everything.>”

“<Then you shall have it.>” Katsuki wrapped his arms around Izuku’s torso and flipped them over as he peppered another round of loving kisses along Izuku’s neck. They weren’t leaving the bed anytime soon.

But they had forever, they could stay in bed for just one day.

After all, what was eternity without someone to spend it with?
