Work Text:
In hindsight, inspecting an unfamiliar flower while Enchancia was entertaining Royal company was not a bright idea, but Cedric was certain that he would remain unbothered by requests for frivolous magic shows if he had occupied himself with something that appeared to be more important. Sure it had worked, but Cedric really had no clue what he was getting into as he inspected the mysterious bloom. It had grown out of nowhere and looked very similar to one of the Wicked Nine that Cedric had caught a glimpse of when Sofia was showing off her notes about being a Protector. The flower had large petals that were a rich fuchsia in color, with the very tips easing out to a soft pink. The bright coloration was also seen in the stem, leaves, and center of the flower. The entire specimen seemed to be completely saturated in terms of coloration, making it stand out in his drabby gray workshop.
Cedric had inspected every part of the flower, pouring over every book on plant life that he owned, trying desperately to find what on Earth this flower could possibly be. It wasn’t small enough to be a zapmora, and it was far too bright to be a Desmir’s pansy. The closest flower he could compare it to was that of the mystical sundrop, but even then, the color was completely off. Cedric was at a complete loss as to what this flower could be. Perhaps it was a completely new type of flower… Oh what fun that would be! He wasn’t a botanist by any means, but he had a great understanding of flora regardless, given that it was required to know more than the average person when one was very skilled with potions. At the idea of being the first to discover a new type of flower, he allowed his mind to run, oh what if it was named after him? How amazing! Sure his father was recorded to be the greatest royal sorcerer of all time, and his sister was one of the most successful conjurors the Ever Realm knew, but neither of them would have a new species of plant named after them! Cedris Sensationalis, that’s what the flower would be called. Oh how excited he was, lifting the flower up in order to smell the bloom, hoping that the scent would be sweet, the last thing he wanted was to have a foul smelling flower named after him.
The second he brought the flower up to his face, he was hit by a puff of pollen, which immediately caused him to sneeze. Just his luck, the flower seemed fine for the hour it had been in his workshop, but the second he went to smell it, it literally blew up in his face. From what he had managed to smell, the flower did indeed smell beautifully, almost like warm honey, sticky and sweet, but the scent was ignored because of the fact that he was currently trying to wipe the pollen from his face with his sleeves. When Cedric pulled the fabric of his robes back, he had expected to see something on the purple material, but it appeared as if there was never any pollen to begin with. He let out a small groan, wonderful , now he was running the risk of whatever this flower’s pollen could do. He could be allergic to it or the pollen could have some other negative affect on him, he had no idea. If anything that gave Cedric more of a push to search for anything on this flower. He didn’t want it to be named after him anymore, he wanted to know what the hell this pollen would do to him.
After another ten minutes of searching, he came across an old book that belonged to his great grandfather, who happened to be very interested in botany and the study of magical plants that bloomed across Enchancia. Cedric flipped through the book almost frantically, but he noticed that with each turn of the page, his head began to feel fuzzier. Almost as if his brain was being overtaken by a fog of sorts. Reading became harder and thinking grew to be near impossible. By the time he had found the page with a depiction of the flower that had done this to him, he was completely out of it. His finger just lightly traced the depiction of the flower, he mused to himself lightly about how pretty the picture was, but he couldn’t remember why he had been looking for it. He felt warm, no not warm… He felt hot, as if he was wearing far too many layers to be comfortable. His hands had made their way up to his necktie, loosening it ever so slightly before lowering to the tie of his robes, undoing that as well. Cedric didn’t particularly feel like himself, although he couldn’t really remember what being himself felt like. Maybe he had always felt so light and floaty, why else would this feel so natural for him? He was so lost in enjoying how weightless he felt that he hadn’t even realized that someone had entered his room and had said something to him.
“Lockpick? What’re you working on here?” Greylock’s voice cut through the fuzzy silence of Cedric’s workshop, “And where is your little raven? I haven’t seen him all day,” The Rudistani sorcerer stopped in his tracks when he caught a glimpse of Cedric, who despite feeling amazing, looked like he had just finished running a marathon. “Oh my, are you quite alright?” Greylock’s initially playful demeanor melted away, being replaced with immediate concern for the state of his friend. Sweat dripped from Cedric’s brow and his face was flushed pink, he looked to be panting almost as he turned to face the man.
“Oh nothing, just…” Cedric trailed off, smiling to himself as he looked over Greylock’s form. There was something about seeing the other man that sent a spark throughout Cedric’s body. Now his mind was solely focused on his fellow sorcerer, he couldn’t stop thinking about him, it was quite nice. Cedric enjoyed taking in Greylock’s features, his high cheekbones and pointed ears, evidence of the elven blood that was mixed into his genetics, they contrasted so beautifully with his nose, which was so averagely human. Cedric wished his lips were curled up into their usual mischievous grin instead of the concerned frown they were contorted in. He wished those lips were up against his own, and that thought sent a whole new blaze through Cedric’s body. If he was somewhat himself, he would have been mortified with how he was feeling, sure he had thought about Greylock in that way before, but that was many years ago, when he was fifteen and much more hormonally driven. Now he was a grown man, pushing forty and yet here he was giggling like a schoolgirl about the presence of a peer.
“What’s gotten into you Cedric? You look like a wreck,” Greylock muttered as he glanced around the workshop, noting the absence of Cedric’s familiar and the presence of a strange flower that was oddly familiar to Greylock. Once he noticed the book that Cedric had open, he knew he needed to read the contents in order to have a better understanding of what was going on. He took a tentative step forward, keeping his eyes on Cedric as the man swayed where he stood. He almost looked drunk, and Greylock was unsure what could have possibly gotten him in this state. Cedric was not the type to be a day drinker, at least from what Greylock knew about him. Sure he enjoyed a nice bottle of wine from now and again, but he wasn’t an alcoholic by any means. Greylock continued to approach Cedric, with the full intention of pushing him to the side in order to take a look at that book, but the second he approached Cedric, the Enchancian sorcerer seemed to latch onto him, linking his arm around Greylock’s own, and leaning into his body.
Now Greylock was in no way opposed to Cedric’s advances, if anything he had desired something like this since he had watched Cedric dance at the Hexley Hall Sorcerer’s Ball back when they were in school. But this was not how he wanted to be receiving attention from the other man, he wanted to court him properly, with flowers and a nice private dinner, he wanted to sit around the royal library and talk for hours, he wanted Cedric to be of clear mind when he made his advances, this just felt wrong, especially because Cedric so clearly wasn’t himself. He had tried to push Cedric away, but it was clear that the other was not letting go, so Greylock decided to just deal with it and take a gander at this book Cedric had been reading.
Sure enough, the page revealed a drawing that was almost identical to the flower Cedric had on his desk, the scientific name of the bloom read out “Cupiditas Flammaflore” more commonly known as the Passionsettia. Greylock had only ever heard of it quite loosely in his advanced courses on forbidden magic. From what he could remember from some odd twenty years prior. The Passionsettia was a rare flower that grew around times of great love and passion, hence the name, and its pollen was an incredibly potent aphrodisiac, so much so that it was forbidden to use in love potions, considering how strong it naturally was. Through refining in a potion, the effects of a Passionsettia, which usually only lasted a few hours, were drawn out to last as long as an entire year. A quick glance around the rest of the workshop gave Greylock a slight breath of relief as he saw Cedric had no potion brewing tools out, meaning he probably only got hit in the face with some of the pollen.
“Oh Breadstick, you beautiful fool,” Greylock muttered to himself, completely ignoring the sing-songy vocalization that Cedric made in response to him. The Rudistani sorcerer was quick to grab a glass dome, placing it gently over the Passionsettia in order to keep the bloom from letting any more pollen out into the room. Now he had a problem with Cedric, considering the man was helplessly desperate and growing more so now that he had another body in the room with him. Greylock had to formulate a quick fix potion to get Cedric back to himself in time for dinner, the royal sorcerer couldn’t just continue on like this. It was a difficult task considering that Cedric was still hanging onto his arm quite tightly, but Greylock managed to gather the necessary ingredients and start the brewing process for the potion he needed. With each passing minute, Cedric grew whinier, gripping Greylock’s sleeve as he pressed himself closer, almost as if any contact between the two was a slight relief.
Within twenty minutes Greylock had a small vial filled with a potion that should have been able to counteract the effects of the Passionsettia’s pollen, and he turned to face Cedric who had spent the past minute or so resting his face against Greylock's shoulder. Oh how adorable he was, Greylock was almost sad that he’d probably never see the other man like this again. His gaze seemingly got Cedric’s attention, as the sorcerer looked up at him with what Greylock could only describe as hearts in his eyes.
“Alright Cedric my dear, I need you to drink this little potion for me, alright?” Greylock asked, presenting the small vial of purple liquid to the other man. “It’s going to make you feel a lot better, I promise,” Cedric seemed so happy to do whatever it was that Greylock asked and that made the man feel a plethora of things. If he was dark in the heart, he would have been more than happy to take complete advantage of the situation, bending Cedric over the desk and having his way with him, but he would never do such a thing to his friend, which was why he brought the vial to Cedric’s lips, nodding as the other drank it down obediently. “Good boy, swallow it all now,” he praised, watching as the other did as he said before wincing. Yes, Greylock knew the potion wasn’t one that tasted very good, but the effects were almost instant, which the Rudistani man saw as Cedric’s eyes blinked rapidly before he let go of Greylock’s arm in favor of rubbing his own head. Headaches were a side effect, as the mind cleared, but again, a small price to pay in order to preserve one’s dignity.
“Finnegan’s Fungus what… What happened to me?” Cedric muttered as he took a step back from Greylock, snapping back to reality with a groan. “Why do I feel so hot?” he continued, using a hand to fan his face, which was still flushed quite heavily. Cedric finally looked up to meet Greylock’s gaze, which brought a decent amount of confusion alongside the clarity he was finally experiencing. “Greylock? What on Earth are you doing here? When did you come into my workshop?” just as he seemed to harden back up to his usual standoffish self, he lurched, with his eyes widening in shock.
“You had a small incident with a Passionsettia Seasick, no worries, I managed to brew up a potion that should be clearing you of all the side effects, you’re welcome,” Cedric’s face contorted with mild confusion at Greylock’s words, glancing towards the encased flower. A few minutes had passed that had been filled with nothing but a thick, awkward silence, and Greylock had noticed that while Cedric seemed like he had his wits about him, he still seemed physically affected. His blush had yet to fade, and he was still sweating like a pig.
“If your potion was supposed to rid me of the effects, why do I still feel so bizarre?” Cedric asked, his face seemingly unamused despite it being reddened with a blush and dripping in sweat. Greylock let out a half amused chuckle, he wasn’t necessarily a potion master, not like Cedric was, so he might’ve gotten the brewing temperature or the brewing time a bit off, or he was just completely wrong in how effective the potion would have been. “If anything I feel worse than I did ten minutes ago,” he mumbled, taking shaky steps towards the book he was originally looking at. After a bit of reading, Cedric had made a few noises to himself, most likely gasps of shock and grumblings about how foolish he had been. Greylock refused to leave the other alone, considering he was still clearly under the affects of the flower, with the only exception being he was completely lucid as opposed to the haze he had been under.
“Well at least you’re yourself again, if I had left you as you were you’d still be a drooling mess, and we couldn’t have our royal majesties seeing you in such a way,” Greylock retorted, crossing his arms as Cedric rolled his eyes, he sure had a way of saying thank you. Maybe Greylock should have allowed Cedric to stay like that, it would teach him not to take such acts of kindness for granted.
“I can’t let anyone see me like this either!” Cedric snapped, catching a glance at his face in a mirror, he was still blushing furiously and his gray bangs were beginning to stick to his forehead from all the sweat. “Gods I’m still so hot! What did you even use to make that potion?” Cedric asked, shrugging off his robe and tossing it to the side, displaying his lithe and lanky body that seemed to tremble whenever he stood still. When Greylock listed off the ingredients he had utilized Cedric had scoffed, “if you had bothered to turn the damn page you would have found the proper potion, whatever you managed to create will only delay the effects! I’m going to return to that helpless state in… the next twenty minutes! Merlin’s mushrooms, how am I supposed to go to dinner tonight! I’ll be stuck like this for the next few hours!” he cried out, throwing his hands up in exasperation.
“Why can’t I just brew you up the proper potion then Broomstick?” Greylock asked as he stepped next to Cedric, looking down at the recipe, it seemed easy enough. He chose to ignore the small noise Cedric had made when he had grazed the other with his shoulder, and focus down on the pages of the book.
“Well if you had bothered to read, you would see that this potion needs to be taken on its own,” Cedric practically growled, “I’d have to wait at least an hour in order to even try another cure for this, and I have a feeling Baileywick is going to be banging down my door any moment now to get me to do parlor tricks for our guests,” he grimaced with a shake of his head, “Oh I’m doomed,” His shoulders slumped as he realized his fate, no longer reading through the pages, but Greylock continued to read on, past the cure and onto other ways the effects could be negated.
“It says here that paroxysmal convulsions can help in alleviating symptoms rapidly,” Greylock noted, pointing to the page he had been reading. When Cedric looked at him with a confused face, it caused the Rudistani man to let out a nervous chuckle, “The medical term for… well, orgasms Redbrick, orgasms will help,” he elaborated, trying hard not to burst out in laughter at the immediate reaction that Cedric had, with the thin man jumping nearly a foot backwards, staring at Greylock with a look that said ‘have you lost your damn mind?’. “I’m not being perverse! I’m just reading what the book says! Look! ‘Paroxysmal convulsions have been shown to reduce the time it takes for the pollen of Cupiditas Flammaflore to run its course’,” he quoted, gesturing for Cedric to return to his side and read what he was reading.
“And how do you suppose I manage that Greylock? Hm? It would be quite hard for me to do much of anything while I’m stuck with the mindset of a, and how did you phrase it? A ‘drooling mess’?! I can’t even recall how I acted and it wasn’t even thirty minutes ago,” Cedric hissed, crossing his arms tightly over his chest. While he was furious, he could feel the fuzziness begin to return to his mind, which pulled a soft grunt from his lips as he unfolded his arms and brought a hand to his head.
“Well if you’d like I can go fetch a pretty chambermaid for you, surely there’s someone in this palace who would be willing and eager to sleep with the royal sorcerer,” Greylock said with a shrug, only to be met with an offended squawk from Cedric who looked even more insulted than when Greylock had introduced the idea of orgasms as a cure to his affliction.
“No! Gods no! Do you know how fast rumors spread around this palace?!” Cedric gawked, shaking his head as he tried to fight off the fog that was beginning to take over his mind once more. Sure rumors spread fast, but that wasn’t the only reason he was opposed to a chambermaid. The main reason was because Cedric just so happened to be a flaming homosexual, although Greylock didn’t really need to know that… Perhaps he already did, given that he had been the one to find Cedric originally.
“Well the only other option would be for me to volunteer myself,” Greylock responded, his tone flat and sarcastic. Of course his sarcasm was only used to hide the fact that Greylock would not have minded in the slightest to volunteer, he just didn’t want to make that obvious to Cedric in an effort to preserve what rocky friendship they did have. What shocked Greylock however, was how not shocked Cedric seemed to be at that idea, which had to be the most ludacris out of all that Greylock had suggested.
“No no, that- that’s foolish,” Cedric muttered, looking down at his own shoes, he wouldn’t admit it, both out loud and to himself, but he wouldn’t have minded Greylock helping him in that regard. Of course this was not the time to be pondering his little crush he had stifled for all these years, this was a time to be thinking about what in the seven hells he was supposed to do while he waited the hour before Greylock could fix him up with the proper cure. He felt his body falter as the haze grew stronger. “I can’t just be left like this,” he sighed, both his hands now firmly planted on his desk in order to keep himself upright.
There was a long silence between the two sorcerers. Greylock had reread the information on the Passionsettia several times over now, and there really wasn’t much else that could be done to help him. A part of him wanted to possibly offer up the option of summoning some type of toy Cedric could use, but he felt like that would be just as useless as Cedric just masturbating the traditional way. It wasn’t until Cedric went to break the silence that Greylock snapped his head up.
“Damn it all,” Cedric muttered, “If I ask this of you, you must swear on your honor as a sorcerer to never share what happens here to anyone ,” his voice was a bit shaky as the blush on his face seemed to deepen by no intention of his own, “If it gets to the point where I am clearly unable to function properly, you have my permission to do what needs to be done,” the fact that Cedric was actually saying this to him made Greylock fluster. Was Cedric granting him permission? Seriously? He would have never thought it possible.
“Are you… Are you really sure this is what you want to do?” Greylock asked, fully expecting Cedric to snap at him about it not being what he really wanted but what he needed . To his surprise, Cedric let out a defeated noise as he made direct eye contact with Greylock, something the Enchancian never did unless he truly meant what he was saying.
“I can only imagine it isn’t ideal, for either of us, but I… I don’t want to be caught like this by anyone, if the book says… convulsions will help me get over this faster, I would much rather that than whatever the other option is,” he explained, clearly struggling to get his words out as he felt his mind slipping from him, “Once I, well you know, I want you to use that hourglass on my desk. Once it’s up you stop whatever it is you’re doing and brew me that cure, make sure to follow the instructions exactly as they are and then we can both…” he trailed off for a moment, Greylock was unsure if it was out of embarrassment or regret, “We can both forget this ever happened,”
Greylock wasn’t sure he’d ever really be able to forget this, but he nodded along in agreement anyways. Cedric insisted he head up to the small sleeping area he had in his tower to avoid being in view of the enchanted portrait of his parents, and Greylock agreed, stating that he would lock the door tightly before joining Cedric. Once that was agreed upon, Cedric struggled to move, but forced himself to do so anyway, climbing up the ladder in order to get to the little loft. Once Greylock was alone, he was quick to lock the door, both with the physical lock and an extra enchantment to keep the doors closed until he undid the charm. After that he made sure the enchanted portrait itself was covered up before snagging the hourglass Cedric had mentioned and he headed up the same ladder Cedric had just ascended. His face felt hot and his entire body was alight with the jitters. Never in his life had he felt so nervous about a sexual encounter, and Greylock had many a sexual encounter, still it felt different with Cedric. All his previous sexual escapades had been little more than one night stands with men who just so happened to be available, Cedric was a man he had been looking at for years. He shook his head in an attempt to clear his mind, he couldn’t look at this like the first time with someone he had feelings for, he just had to treat it like another one night stand. That’s all it was. He and Cedric had agreed to never speak about it after it had concluded and he would keep to that.
When Greylock had entered the makeshift bedroom Cedric had set up in his tower, he was met with what had to be the most sinful sight he’d ever been granted to gaze upon. Cedric sat down on the bed, completely lost in his own head, his necktie was undone and hung loosely around Cedric’s shoulders. He was clearly right back to being totally lost to the effects of the pollen, and the look he was giving Greylock was that of pure sex and desire. It made Greylock blush, and he was not one to be prudish in the slightest.
“Greylock~” Cedric called out in the same sing-songy tone he had used earlier. Whatever he was going to say next died in this throat as it all just melted into giggles as he raised a shaky hand in order to beckon Greylock towards the bed. This version of Cedric was something completely different as to what he was used to. Cedric was closed off about his emotions, quiet and reserved. He did not express himself in such an open way. But here and now, under the effects of the pollen, he was an open book, and he so clearly wanted Greylock to read him cover to cover.
“Great heavens,” Greylock muttered to himself as he allowed Cedric to lure him into the bed. It was both so easy and so difficult to pretend that Cedric wasn’t who Greylock knew him as. Sure he acted completely different, but it was still Cedric’s face, it was still his beautiful light brown, almost golden, eyes, it was still his unique hair, and his thin frame, still every part of him that Greylock adored just without the attitude.
“You kept me waiting,” Cedric mused, his tone was so off that he really did sound drunk. If Cedric hadn’t granted him explicit consent before he had succumbed to the effects again, he would have felt so bad about the whole situation. But Cedric had, at least Greylock was pretty sure he had. He kept replaying Cedric’s words to him over and over again in his mind. What had he meant by “ I can only imagine it isn’t ideal, for either of us ” ideal was such a specific word to use. He could have said it wasn’t the best situation, he could have said he knew neither of them wanted to do this, he could have just said he didn’t want to do this at all. But he had used the word ideal .
His thoughts were all consuming, hyper fixated on the use of one specific word, it could have driven Greylock to madness and back if he thought of it any longer. Thankfully, Cedric was growing impatient with his hesitance, slowly getting up from the bed and wobbling towards Greylock. His hands landed on Greylock’s chest, which snapped the other man back to attention. At first he thought Cedric’s hands rested against his chest in an effort to keep himself stable, but that clearly wasn’t the case once Cedric’s hands slipped underneath Greylock’s vibrant blue robe and forced it off his shoulders leading it to fall to the floor. In all his years of staring at the sorcerer, he had never seen him with such a seductive look on his face. In that moment Greylock’s reservations gave way, which caused him to place the hourglass on the small table near Cedric’s bed, making sure the sand began to fall, before turning his full attention towards the other man, and shoving him gently down onto the mattress. Cedric let out an amused giggle of sorts as he watched Greylock begin to shed his layers, losing his bowtie and his hideous sweater vest before his monocle went to the bedside table. How dare Cedric be so utterly captivating in this very moment. He had no damn right.
Greylock was halfway through unbuttoning his own shirt when he realized that Cedric was attempting, and failing to undo the buttons of his vest, which only made him all the more sexy to Greylock. So helpless, so pathetic, so absolutely fucking gorgeous. He immediately stopped undressing himself and focused all his attention on getting Cedric naked. It was an easy task, given years of pent up sexual frustration were finally bubbling over for the man. He was quick to nudge Cedric’s hands out of the way before undoing the vest himself, following with Cedric’s shirt, before practically tearing the garments off the other man. Cedric let out a shocked gasp at the sudden removal of his clothes, but all he could manage was falling backwards on the bed, legs open in a way to entice Greylock more than he already was.
“Oh you bumbling fool,” Greylock hissed under his breath as he took up space between Cedric’s legs, grabbing him by the front of his undershirt and pulling him into a crushing kiss. The moan Cedric let out from being kissed was swallowed up by the other man, who was more than happy to finally kiss Cedric, open mouthed and hot. He could feel the other’s hands wrap around his back, clinging to him in a desperate manner. While it technically was their first kiss, Greylock refused to acknowledge it as such, he refused to acknowledge any part of this as a first with Cedric, even if there never would be an actual first. Once their kiss had broken, Greylock wasted no time in placing a plethora of kisses and nips down Cedric’s neck, which pulled a series of gasps and moans from Cedric’s mouth. Oh Greylock could get addicted to hearing Cedric’s whines and whimpers. It felt so right that these were the types of noises he would make.
“Greylock,” Cedric whined out, writhing beneath the other, his skin felt so hot to the touch and the blush on his face had traveled down his body. Greylock wanted to see how far down that blush really went. He couldn’t stop himself, even if he wanted to, he pulled himself back and started to undo the clasps of Cedric’s pants, chuckling to himself as the man beneath him seemed all too eager to be stripped bare and taken as fast as possible. Greylock didn’t want to keep him waiting, especially when Cedric looked up at him with a silent plea for more. Once Greylock had removed the other’s pants and made quick work of his undergarments, Cedric repeated Greylock’s name quite breathlessly. Greylock loved how it sounded coming off his tongue, he wanted to hear Cedric say his name like that again, and again, and again.
“Easy,” Greylock’s voice was low, heavy with lust as he watched as Cedric’s cock sprung up after his underwear had been pulled off. He wasn’t anything to write home about, but Greylock couldn’t care less, sex was sex, no matter what size he was met with. Once Cedric was properly naked, Greylock finished removing his remaining layers, the way Cedric’s eyes widened when he caught a glimpse of Greylock’s own cock, he had to stifle a chuckle. This was going to be fun, he could tell just from how Cedric bit his lower lip.
Before this went any further, Greylock was quick to draw his wand, conjuring up a small vial of oil just to make this a bit easier for the both of them. No matter how strong the effects of the pollen were, Greylock doubted Cedric would appreciate any unfortunate outcomes after the fact from Greylock failing to prepare him properly. The Rudistani man made sure to glance over his shoulder at the hourglass, doing a simple time check before the vial of oil was opened and he began to work Cedric open on his fingers. He was quite surprised to see how relaxed Cedric already was, most likely due to the pollen, which was a plus. It made preparing him all the easier, and Cedric seemed to really appreciate the feeling of something pleasurable happening, considering he threw his head back and let out a low moan at the feeling of Greylock’s fingers spreading him open.
While Greylock would have liked nothing more to go as quickly as possible, he knew better than that. He was by no means a greedy lover, and even if Cedric was not truly himself, he still wanted to treat the sorcerer to a good time, which meant proper preparation, which meant taking it slow. Greylock had no clue how many partners Cedric had been with prior to him, frankly he didn’t care. He was going to treat Cedric to the best time he’d ever had, even if he wouldn’t be able to remember much of it. Two fingers slowly transitioned to three, and based on Cedric’s reactions, Greylock could tell everything must’ve felt incredibly sensitive.
He was right of course, because for Cedric, the mere feeling of being breached was enough to send his nervous system haywire. He already couldn’t think straight, but now? He couldn’t even call out Greylock’s name, the only noises he could manage were desperate babbles and moans. Deep in the recesses of Cedric’s mind, he could recognize how foolish it was, to be so worked up over simple fingering, but that voice of reason was completely drowned out by the warm fuzzy haze that swaddled Cedric’s brain. As far as he was concerned, Greylock was making him feel good, better than good, and he never wanted it to stop.
After what was a good few minutes of fingering Cedric open, Greylock was finally satisfied with his handiwork, smirking to himself before taking the rest of the oil and coating his hand generously with it. He gave his erection a few solid pumps before positioning himself between Cedric’s legs. He figured this position would be the easiest on both of them, considering they weren’t necessarily young and spry. He stood between Cedric’s legs which hung off the bed, and Greylock slowly eased them upwards, not folding Cedric in half necessarily, but positioning him in a way that would make access easy. Once Greylock was satisfied, he pressed forward, one hand guiding his cock while the other gripped Cedric’s trembling thigh.
When he finally pushed inside of Cedric, he let out a low groan of his own, which paired so perfectly with the high-pitched keen that burst from Cedric’s throat. God he was so warm, it felt amazing, to the point where Greylock understood why Passionsettia had been so highly regulated. This was far too dangerous to play around with, especially when it could fall into the wrong hands. Greylock hadn’t even really done much and yet Cedric was whining and squirming beneath him, and the Rudistani sorcerer was enjoying himself quite a bit. He took in a deep breath, looking down at Cedric through half-lidded eyes, Gods he was so beautiful like this, flushed red and covered in a thin sheen of sweat. Oh Greylock wished he could conjure up a portrait of this very moment, just so he could keep it with him to remind him of how deviously sinful Cedric looked.
Once he began to move, he knew it would be damn near impossible for him to stop, both his hands gripping Cedric’s thighs tight to the point there would no doubt be bruises. Cedric himself seemed overjoyed at the feeling, throwing his head back and letting out one of the lewdest noises Greylock had ever heard in all his years. He wondered if Cedric was like this when he wasn’t under the influence of an aphrodisiac, which only resulted in his mind wandering. Was that why the sorcerer was still single after all these years? Sure he had a reputation of a bungler, but that wouldn’t really deter most women from trying to seduce him. Being the wife of the royal sorcerer came with a bunch of perks, mainly living in the castle and rubbing shoulders with royalty and really, who wouldn’t want that? Maybe Cedric was always so noisy, to the point where it would be embarrassing to lay with a woman. Men were supposed to be stoic and silent during sex, at least that was what was expected of them… Or maybe Cedric was quiet and subdued, perhaps he was single by choice, or single for the same reason Greylock was single… He was pulled from his thoughts when he heard Cedric groan out a plea for more, which caused Greylock to nod and give the man whatever he wanted.
Gods he was so weak willed, when he had fantasized about sharing a night with Cedric, he had imagined a completely different scenario. Greylock saw himself teasing Cedric relentlessly for hours, until the other was a begging mess, sobbing and pleading for release, and even then Greylock would not give in. He would have made the Enchancian work for it, he saw Cedric on his knees, giving him the best blowjob he’d ever received, he saw Cedric riding him in a desperate attempt to get himself off, he saw Cedric screaming thank you’s while Greylock brought him to climax. But it seemed like Greylock did not have the backbone to do such a thing, not at that moment. Instead he was folding for the other man, indulging him in his every wish. If Cedric wanted it faster, or harder, or deeper, Greylock would do his very best to make sure it happened. Maybe it was because the other had only given him permission to get through it, this wasn’t meant to be some long, drawn out experience. This was supposed to be quick, to help Cedric get as much of this out of his system before going to brew him the potion, not for the sake of finally having sex with the man he had been eying for years.
Greylock had to close his eyes because looking at Cedric was growing hard for him. He looked too good like this, with one arm thrown over his eyes as he arched his back and sang out in pure pleasure. He really hoped that no one could hear them, because that would make this so much worse. The Rudistani figured they would be safe enough, given that most of the guests were all outside enjoying the performance of the royal band. They wouldn’t be due inside for dinner for at least another hour and a half, and if Greylock remembered how to read hourglasses, a quick glance over at the timer told him that he only had to keep this up for another forty minutes or so. Well… Keeping it up would not be a problem for him, if anything, his own lust was the problem. Even though he and Cedric had agreed to never speak of this again, Greylock wasn’t sure he’d be able to contain himself. He had bitten the forbidden fruit and he had been imbued with the knowledge of what Cedric was probably like in bed. He’d never be able to stop thinking about this, it would eat him alive from the inside out.
When Greylock decided to look at Cedric again, he caught the other man drooling as he moaned out, entire body twitching as if he was being electrocuted. Gods give him strength… After a few more powerful thrusts on Greylock’s part, Cedric came hard across his chest, completely untouched, letting out a whine as he did so. Greylock was able to slow his own thrusts, impressed that he himself hadn’t reached that point yet. Luckily for him, Cedric was clearly not done, considering his dick was still hard as a rock and throbbing between the two. The pause brought an almost annoyed noise from Cedric’s throat, which caused Greylock to huff. Always a brat, he supposed. While he wanted nothing more than to continue on, Greylock needed to sit down, he wasn’t as active as he used to be, so doing all this while he stood was a bit hard on his back. If he was maybe ten years younger? He could have kept on, but he needed to change the position for his own sake.
When he pulled out, Cedric let out another displeased noise, moving his arm away from his eyes and almost glaring up at Greylock, for a moment it looked like the Enchancian was himself again, the only thing that proved he wasn’t was the fact that he hadn’t said anything, he simply panted expectantly. Greylock rolled his eyes a bit before he sat on the bed, motioning for Cedric to come and get into his lap, which the other sorcerer scrambled to do.
“Easy now,” Greylock muttered as he let Cedric lower himself back down, which caused him to moan out again. Cedric’s arms fell over Greylock’s shoulders and his hands landed onto Greylock’s back which made him smile. Cedric was so willing like this, which only added to the danger of this situation. He was too cute to resist and as much as Greylock was already cursing himself for it, he could feel himself getting attached. It was going to be miserably awful when Cedric was back to himself and acting as if this never occurred, so Greylock really had to savor every second he had here.
Cedric had started to move on his own without Greylock’s help, those nimble fingers of his digging into Greylock’s back as he grunted and whined. All Greylock could do now was watch Cedric’s face, eyes closed, eyebrows knit together and his head slightly tilted back. He was a sight for sore eyes, even if he wouldn’t have believed it if Greylock told him to his face. Maybe that was partially Greylock’s fault, given that he had spent so many years teasing and mocking Cedric when he could have been courting him. So much wasted time to reflect on, but he could beat himself up over that later.
“Oh Gods Grey-” Cedric moaned as he ground down hard on Greylock’s cock, that was the first thing he had actually said since they had started fucking, so Greylock figured it was proof that fucking it out of one’s system was a viable cure. Of course a potion would probably be much more effective and a million times less embarrassing, but a method that worked was a method that worked. “Fuck me,” his voice was breathy and obscene, which only worked in driving Greylock further. When he had actually started to meet Cedric’s bounces with thrusts upwards, it caused Cedric to cry out in pleasure, absolutely losing it to the feeling.
Greylock had a feeling he wasn’t going to be able to hold on for much longer, he was only human after all, and the way Cedric squeezed around him was sinfully criminal. If Greylock hadn’t known any better, he would have assumed Cedric was a common whore that one would solicit in some of the seedier areas of Enchancia’s outer villages. Either that, or he had severely underestimated the vastness of Cedric’s prior sexual partners. He swore he had caught whispers among the royal guards, but he had disregarded them as little more than additional belittlement on Cedric’s part. Perhaps he should have paid more attention to what had been said, for he could not remember it for the life of him at that moment. Whatever thoughts he had were lost the second he orgasmed, he came hard into Cedric with a groan, gripping the Enchancian’s hips and forcing him down on his lap while he jerked and spasmed throughout his release. That seemed to do it for Cedric as well, as he himself came a second time between them.
“Greylock,” Cedric whimpered through ragged breaths, while his tone was still tainted with that pollen-induced lust that Greylock had grown used to, his voice sounded just a bit more like himself. It took Greylock a moment to regain his own wits before opening his eyes, he watched as Cedric’s eyes met his own, and a shaky smile took place on his lips, “Don’t tell me that’s all you got,” he mused, and in that split second, Greylock decided he had so much more to give.
They went at it like rabbits for the next forty-five minutes, and Greylock knew this because each time he had glanced back at the hourglass, more sand had descended into the bottom chamber, up until the clock had run out, an hour had passed, and yet they were still fucking. It felt like no matter what Greylock tried to do, he couldn’t pry himself away. It had nothing to do with his own physical desires in the slightest, despite his general unseriousness in any given situation, he had immense self control of his own desires, his hang up was the fact that Cedric was begging him not to stop. Each time he slowed, or tried to pull out, the other man would cry out his name in a way that fueled Greylock carnally. After what had to be at least five climaxes from Cedric, he was now completely bent over, face shoved into his makeshift mattress while Greylock mercilessly fucked him from behind. This would definitely be the last one for Greylock, as he could feel his body begin to protest from exhaustion, and he knew he had to make it count for his colleague.
“Oh Gods Greylock! Yes! Just like that!” Cedric shouted as he arched his back in the most whorish fashion. “Don’t you dare stop!” Something Greylock had noticed was that Cedric had grown more verbal with each time he came, almost as if he was becoming more of his authentic self with every ‘paroxysmal convulsion’ he experienced. The Rudistani knew in his soul that he couldn’t grow too attached to this, considering he was still under the effects of the Passionsettia, but still, he couldn’t help but find himself amused.
“You’re such a good boy Cedric,” Greylock grunted, he had begun to shower the man with praise after his third orgasm, and it only seemed to get Cedric where he needed to be all the quicker. He so obviously had a praise kink, and Greylock would be ashamed to admit he heavily enjoyed indulging him. “Such a good little whore for me,” he enjoyed the way Cedric tensed when there was a dash of degradation in his words, and Greylock could tell the sorcerer enjoyed that just as much as he did the praise. Oh if only the Gods had granted him an experience similar to this at an earlier point in time. Greylock could imagine that if this had taken place when they were both in their early twenties, they would have been up all night, most likely keeping everyone in the surrounding populace awake with their exclamations of pleasure.
“Grey- I’m, fuck!” Cedric hissed as he came for what would be the final time that day, even if Greylock had decided to continue going, he had a feeling Cedric would be far too spent to be conscious, and while that was something Greylock would not mind trying, he would not want to do so while Cedric was not in his right state of mind, even if it seemed he was back to himself again. Once Cedric had come, Greylock followed, shooting into the other for what was his third time. Both men crumpled after their orgasms had run their course, and there was little to no complaint from Cedric when Greylock finally pulled out. He couldn’t help but sit back and admire his handiwork, watching as his seed leaked from the other and trailed down his thighs. Now this he wanted a portrait of, a fine reminder of a pleasure he was only allowed to partake in once and only once.
Once he had regained strength in his legs, Greylock forced himself up and out of bed, using a rag Cedric had lying on the ground to wipe away the sweat and come from his own body before he quickly redressed and rushed to begin brewing the actual cure for Cedric. He knew it was anything but courteous to leave him in such a state, but he had already overstepped the previously set boundary of one hour’s worth of time, and he had no desire of upsetting Cedric any more than he probably would be once he figured out Greylock had used his body during what was probably an hour and fifteen minutes of time.
Thankfully, brewing the potion was easy enough, and the ingredients were straight forward. No milling anything in a mortar, no brewing anything to a hyper specific temperature, he just needed to mix a few simple ingredients and boil them into a tea like mixture, before adding a dash of soot from a dragonflame. He could hear Cedric’s hoarse whines coming from up in his loft, and he knew he had to hurry. While he was at it, Greylock decided to also whip up a small pain relief potion, hoping that Cedric would be able to avoid some embarrassing stares around the castle by curing the limp he’d have right away.
Returning to Cedric was a bit awkward, given that the lanky man had not moved from his position, nor had he made any effort to clean himself up, which left that job to Greylock. He placed the potions down next to the hourglass before retrieving the rag he had used to clean himself up. A part of him regretted that he would have to erase any evidence of his job well done, but he knew better than to allow Cedric to properly come to his senses like that.
Cedric still whimpered out when Greylock touched him, and the Rudistani had no clue if that was due to being vastly overstimulated or the lingering effects of the Passionsettia, perhaps both… No matter the cause, Greylock was sure to wipe Cedric down to the best of his ability before he carefully guided the other man to sit up to the best of his ability.
“Here you are Cedric, drink up,” He mustered, offering Cedric the cure he had created. He had to bring the bottle to Cedric’s lips and tip the contents down his throat, similarly to what he had done before, but this time he noticed more significant changes. The blush that dusted Cedric’s cheeks faded within a minute of drinking the potion, and he began to blink a bit before shaking his head and looking at Greylock with almost a glare.
“Good Gods, what did you do to me?” Cedric hissed as he slowly brought a hand to his back, rubbing it in an effort to ease the soreness. At least he wasn’t fuming with rage, so that was a good thing. “Greylock when I said ‘do what needs to be done’ I meant the bare minimum of what needed to be done,” he shook his head again, opting to lie down rather than continue to sit upright, “Finnegan’s fungus, it feels like you shattered my pelvis,” he complained, not even caring that he was still bare as he laid out in front of Greylock.
“Well, I figured you’d be less than pleased about that, so I also brewed you a simple cure all, no need to thank me,” Greylock responded, trying his best not to linger his gaze on Cedric’s pale chest, or his thighs, or his dick, which had finally gone soft. He mentally scolded himself for that, how could he still be horny? The other had practically drained him dry of all he had and here he was, still fantasizing.
“Well… You didn’t have to do that, I could have done it myself,” Cedric muttered, bringing an arm up and over his eyes, which only served to remind Greylock of what had just happened between them, “You can go, I’ll be fine to recover on my own,” Cedric added, “I’m sure that boisterous King Magnus of yours is just itching to get you to put on a magic show of some kind,” Yeah, Cedric was most definitely back to himself, although Greylock could never remember the Enchancian being so casual with him, even when it had just been the two of them.
“Well… Alright Lockpick, if you insist,” Greylock replied, trying not to laugh to himself when Cedric shifted his arm ever so slightly in order to glare daggers at him for the stupid name joke he always pulled. With that, Greylock took his leave, checking himself once over in one of Cedric’s mirrors just to ensure that there was no lingering evidence of their dalliance on himself before unlocking Cedric’s workshop door and returning to the main event.
The rest of the day had gone by just as fine as it would have if Cedric had not been so foolish as to take Passionsettia pollen straight to the face. There was a magic show that Greylock put on, it was quite entertaining. There was a feast that everyone enjoyed, and the food was divine. And then King Magnus decided it was time to go, and Greylock bid Cedric farewell, just as he would of if the pair hadn’t spent a decent amount of time fucking like horny teenagers, Cedric returned the goodbye and then they split. Greylock returned to Rudistan, and Cedric remained in Enchancia, as it always had been.
“Oh Cedric, what a lovely flower you have here,” Baileywick commented as he brought his hands to the glass jar that held the fuschia bloom, clearly intending to smell it. Cedric nearly dropped the highly valuable potion he had been fiddling with in an effort to rush over to Baileywick’s side and keep the dome over the pesky flower.
“Please don’t Baileywick! It’s a very… rare species that I’m preserving, for… research purposes,” Cedric fibbed, placing his vials down in order to properly keep the lid over the magically preserved flower. When Baileywick cocked a curious eyebrow at him, Cedric let out a small chuckle, “It’s a Passionsettia, if you must know, and they are very, very special flowers, please be careful,” he tacked on, watching as Baileywick’s face contorted a bit. He always forgot that the steward was a decade or so older than him, and knew a lot when it came to everything that pertained to castle maintenance.
“Why on Earth would you be keeping a Passionsettia in here? Even for research purposes, they’re incredibly dangerous,” Baileywick asked, retracting his hands from the dome as if the glass had become molten to the touch. He clearly knew the name, just not what the flower looked like, and it put Cedric in the most awkward of situations.
“I’ve got a lot of important research to do with it, very independent and personal research,” He replied, giving Baileywick a look in an effort to get the steward off his back. Once the dots connected in Baileywick’s mind, the steward gave him an unamused, almost disgusted look. Yeah there wasn’t a person alive who could keep a secret from Baileywick, which was why Cedric had been so subtly up front with his reasoning.
“Well then… If you need me to send a flying coach to collect Greylock the Grand of Rudistan to assist in you ‘ research ’, you know where to find me,” And with that, Baileywick left, and Cedric moved the flower up off from his desk and onto one of the higher shelves in his workshop, one that would be out of reach of any other curious folk that happened to stop by. As much as Cedric hated to admit it, he had a feeling he would be taking Baileywick up on that offer sometime soon.
