I do not own Kamen Rider Zi - O or Claymore, all of the characters belong to their respective creators.
In almost every Kamen Rider Zi – O storyline, Tokiwa Sougo will always become the Overlord that rules over his world with an iron fist, carving out his position as the strongest Kamen Rider in history with the destruction of future Riders. However, this story is not the main one that everybody knows. This is the story of a Tokiwa Sougo who chose to leave his throne behind instead.
Instead of becoming the demon Overlord that will inevitably destroy his world, this Tokiwa Sougo became the kindest and the most beloved Overlord of the world with the help of his friends Geiz, Tsukuyomi, and Woz. When the Quartzers revealed themselves and tried to rewrite the Heisei Era, Sougo awakened the power of Ohma Zi - O to fight against them. In the end, Ohma Zi-O defeated the Quartzers with the help of the Heisei Riders and his friends.
Although Sougo and his friends had won against a powerful foe and were able to protect the Heisei Era, they now have to face a grim realization: Ohma Zi – O has awakened. When Ohma Day comes, Sougo will become the worst tyrant in history and rule over the world with an iron fist, ushering in a new age of death and suffering. Right now, both Sougo and Geiz have to make their own choice, either killing their friends to realize their dreams or abandoning their own purposes. If this was at the beginning of their adventure, Geiz would undoubtedly strike Sougo down to secure a better future for mankind. However, after sharing so many experiences and adventures together, Geiz could no longer be sure of himself.
"Don't worry. Didn't I tell you I would be the kindest and most beloved Demon King ever?" Sougo beamed, which surprised both Geiz and Tsukuyomi.
"Sougo?" Tsukuyomi questioned.
"If I am the kindest and most beloved King, shouldn't I be the one supporting the Hero who fights against evil?" Sougo claimed.
"What are you trying to say here, Zi – O?" Geiz angered.
"I don't want to give up on my dream, but I don't want this world to become full of misery and death either," Sougo claimed, "Therefore, I will leave on my own adventure from now on, far away from this timeline."
"Would you be okay with that, Woz?" Sougo asked.
"My King, should you probably know right now that I would follow you to the end of the Earth no matter your decisions?" The man teased.
"Haha, I guess that's the kind of person you are, huh?" Sougo smiled, "This world will no longer have a King but a savior and his successors, ready to protect humanity from evil."
"I had never thought I would once see the Great Demon King himself step off from his throne," Geiz teased, "but are you sure you would be okay, Sougo?"
"Don't worry, guys, I know how to handle myself, and I won't conquer other worlds or timelines just to let you know," Sougo teased back, "I guess this is goodbye, huh?"
After that, a golden circle gate that resembles a watch opens behind Sougo. As he is about to enter the gate, Sougo turns back his head. "Goodbye, guys. Please, take care of my uncle and tell him that I love him."
"It was good knowing you, Sougo," Geiz smiled.
"Take care, my King; I will graciously await your return someday," Woz smiled.
"Goodbye and take care, Sougo," Tsukuyomi waved.
As Sougo disappears, the gate also closes, leaving only 3 people standing in the wind behind.
Hello, this is my first fanfic and I'm still novel as a writer with not many experiences. Therefore, I would like to hear your thoughts and comments on how to make my fic better.
I have always been in love with the Kamen Rider series when I was a kid and found the concept of Kamen Rider Zi - O to be very interesting, especially with Ohma Zi - O, a Demon King that is so powerful that he destroys any hope of future Riders appearing to oppose against him. In the TV show, we were able to witness the power of Ohma himself, but the show only allowed us to see a fraction of it. Therefore, I would like to open up more some of his options of power now that he is just a guy on a journey to discover other worlds, not a power-hungry Overlord. You may argue that throwing Ohma Zi - O at Claymore may be a bit overkill but I don't aim for this fic to become a showoff where Sougo wipes everyone under his booth.
Warning: This is an AR world of Kamen Rider Zi - O, so the Sougo I'm depicting here may be a bit of an OC, but I will try my best to keep his personality more align with the original one in the TV show.
