Chapter Text
GoldenBee was a Decepticon for 1000 stellar cycles. He was one, if not the best scout out there on the Decepticon backline. Being able to report back to his adopted carrier; Megatron, and adopted Sire;Orion much quicker than anyone could think he was capable of doing.
He was conjunxed to the triple changer Blitzwing; a psychotic jet tank with the love of sculpting, but loved GoldenBee even more.
Despite all the hardships the family went through they stuck together like glue. Sparing together, making battle plans, and even just spending quiet moments together. That's all they could have hoped for, for the long run that is. Staying together and figuring things out on the way.
So when GoldenBee figured out he was sparked with Blitzwings child he was ecstatic, happy even. They were going to start a family on their own. Orion and Megatron would've been able to spoil their grand sparklings like they always said that they wanted too.
And now GoldenBee would give them a chance at that. A chance at knowing that their family continues to grow bigger every day. And nothing in the universe could tear that away.
Until it did. Three stellar cycles later.
Goldenbee was on the Nemesis with Megatron, Orion, Starscream, Blitzwing, Lugnut, and Blackarachnia, and a few others; just to keep the ship in working condition.
Megatron was getting ready to fly and break into a spaceship that carried the allspark, something precious to all Cybertronian kinds, but it would be used to take back Cybertron as their own.
GoldenBee looked out the window looking at the ship that gave him veg remembrance of something from a past that had been forgotten. GoldenBee doesn't remember a lot about his past after waking up buried under rubble.
All he knew was that he was hurt and scared for his life, until Orion and Blitwing saved him. He was grateful for their help and decided to stay with them. And now he has a big family that he can rely on. Plus with two twins being the newest addition to the family in the recent solar cycles.
Currently he was in the med bay with his twins Jetfire and Jetstorm. Being good sparklings for Knockout. Of course they were spoiled with energon candy after doing such a good job.
Walking out of the medbay with the sparklings in his hands. He went up to Blitzwing who picked him up, and kissed all of their helms.
"Aww my perfect family, soon we'll have cybertron once and for all. You two get to fly whenever you want." Blitzwing cackled, making GoldenBee roll his optics.
"Yes, as much room to grow and develop once we are successful in the capturing of the Allspark." He couldn't help but add to the beeping Sparklings that decided it was a good idea to hang from Blitzwings helm.
GoldenBee couldn't help but laugh at that. Blitzwing trying his best to stay still but at the same time keep them from falling off.
It was only when Megatron and Orion walked in did everyone grow silent. GoldenBee was put down and stood at attention with the rest of the crew.
"GoldenBee." Megatron said to him. Already expecting him to follow, which he did. Orion padded Blitzwings legs before following them to look out the window to where the Allspark signature was coming from.
"You know the deal." Megatron said, looking down at the golden plated grounder, who nods. "Get in, distract the crew, get out when you have the allspark. If they try to come after us I'll disable the ship with my electricity."
They've gone over the plan multiple times. Almost to the point he can recite it in his sleep.
"Good mech. We'll leave in a few nanosecs when this ship is closer." The Decepticon leader said, but mostly used it as an excuse to give Orion more kisses. Goldenbee wouldn't complain giving kisses to Blitzwing and his twins.
"You two be good for Sire alright. Carrier wi be right back." GoldenBee said to Jetfire and Jetstorm, kissing the top of their helms, before kissing Blitzwing.
"And you behave yourself Mr. I don't want to come back to chaos like last time." A switch in Blitzwings face told GoldenBee that he had switched to his random face. "I make no promises my little humble,,, though just for you I will make sure you come back to the twins chirping happily."
GoldenBee chuckled at that, but decided to nod. "Alright I'll keep you to that. I'll see you when we are victorious." He gave Blitzwing one last kiss before making his way to the opening.
A ragtag team of washed up autobots sat inside the cockpit, they were clearing the latest space bridge only to come upon the allspark. The leader Sentinel was in the pilot seat and was talking to Ultra magnus, telling him that they had located the allspark.
Ultra magnus was pleased seeing that they had it, it has been lost for millions of years, and this washed up team of autobots found it.
Though of course that meant trouble, they were in the line of autobot and Decepticon territory and so once the allspark signal was found, it could mean trouble for them all if a Decepticon came by and tried taking it.
On the lookout for a Decepticon ship was their medic Ratchet and fighter Drift. They were looking out the window. Since they found the allspark, both could see the approaching ship. Both not liking how big it was, it couldn't have been one of their own.
The last two mechs in the ship were a wrecker mech Bulkhead and a Cyberninja Prowl.
They were keeping the ship running, looking over its energy, and if anything could be damaged. Though really it was mostly Bulkhead that was looking over all of that, Prowl was meditating on the ship's floor.
“We are just about to cross into Autobot territory Ultra Magnus Sir.” Sentinel explained. Saluting to the elder Cybertronian, before sitting back down to pilot the ship into the nearby Autobot territory.
“I look forward to seeing your arrival back to Cybertron, Mechs. You are all doing the Autobot race a huge favor.” Ultra Magnus said back, a smile on his derma, before the screen went black with the call ending.
Sentinel’s own dermas were wide in a grin. Already anticipating the amount of praises he’ll be getting once returning back to Cybertron. The femms and mechs would be coming from all over to get a piece of him. How many of them would want his autograph? Buy him a drink? He couldn’t wait to hear the name hero on their dermas, all the shanix that would be poured his way because he deserved it.
His inner dialog was soon scrapped when Bulkhead spoke up.
“Umm, guys I’m seeing two Cybertronian signatures approaching our ship.” He stated, pointing at the monitor in front of him that showed the outside using sonar. It was indeed showing two signatures coming close supper quickly, way too fast to be a meteor. It also helped that Ratchet and Drift also saw the Cybertronians in question.
“We’ll be in Autobot territory soon. Decepticons won’t dare to-”
A loud bang came from the top of the Orion. Everyone’s helms went upward, an all out silence crashed over the individuals, all waiting with bated breath that perhaps the Decepticons won’t try to attack them. They were just using the top of the ship for directional purposes. That was all thrown out the window once they heard laser cutters coming from the hold bay.
Where the Allspark was being held.
Pulling up the outside camera, the crew could see the red and gray frame of the Decepticon leader, hovering over a smaller golden frame that belonged to a grounder. A semi recognized grounder amongst the ranks of the Decepticon. He is mostly known by words rather than pictures, It also didn’t help that he had his battle mask on. What was his name again? Goldbug?
Who cares really, because after Sentinal’s done with them they’ll be sentenced to life rotting away in a cell, while he’s surrounded by many mech’s and femms.
Sentinel sent out grab arms, aiming for the minibot Decepticon to stop it from making a hole in the Orion. What he never thought could possibly happen was Megatron grabbing onto them, making it clear to everyone inside that they are going to be a menace to deal with.
“Guess we're going to do this the hard way.” Sentinel growled out, stopping as close to the space bridge that was unfortunately unoccupied. Getting out of his seat, he pulled out his Sword and shield, ready to face the two Decepticons head on.
“And there. I'm all done. GoldenBee said happily, pulling his hands away from the glowing lines. Looking over at his Carrier and seeing him battle with the grabber arms, he put his still transformed hands together, shooting electricity at them to short circuit them.
Megatron let out a humm, dropping them before walking over to the almost hole, kicking it hard until it gave away, leaving the two able to get inside.
Dropping down, GoldenBee became giddy, he was itching to fight some Autobots. It’s been about three stellar cycles since he’s been on the front line since having the twins. Looking up at Megatron, the older mech looked down at GoldenBee before giving his charge a nod.
GoldenBee’s grin grew manic under his mask, practically skipping as he made his way over to the door. Opening it up he came face to face with a weird looking Autobot, his chin way too big for his face. He carried a sword like he was still training, and the shield was protecting him, he’d give him that.
“You are not welcomed here Decepticons, this is now Autobot territory, surrender now, and maybe you’ll be lucky to spend the rest of your days locked in a cell.” Both GoldenBee and Megatron looked at the Autobot, looking back at each other, before looking back. GoldenBee couldn’t help the snort that left him. Megatron goes back to search for the Allspark.
“Ya I do not think so bud.” He said, not giving the Autobot time to understand what that meant before kicking him in the chassis, sending him tumbling back onto the floor. The blue now scraped onto the bottom of GoldenBee’s pedals. “This is more fun, don’t you think.” GoldenBee asked, watching the Autobot get back on his pedals.
The Autobot growled, looking down at himself. Seeing the paint that was scratched off. “You are really going to be a fine prize when we get back to Cybertron, with or without your head on my sword!” The mech screamed, charging forward ready to stab GoldenBee.
As he tried to stab GoldenBee, the minibot outmaneuvered him, each time giving a new action to what he was doing. A dodge, check his digits. Another dodge, pretends he’s making a comm call. Another dodge, yawn because of how boring this fight was.
After the third time GoldenBee became bored, grabbing the sword. “Are you even trying?” he couldn’t help but say, before kicking the mech under his jaw. Sending the Autobot flying back onto his back.
“You are no fun Autobot. No matter, once we get the Allspark and take over Cybertron, you will all be under our protection. And then perhaps get you actual fighting lessons.” GoldenBee said before teasing. In his talking he didn’t even realize another on the ship had come, sneaking up at him.
Catching him off guard by kicking him from the back, and then landing in front of him. Looking up GoldenBee could tell that he was a Cyberninja, mostly just by the way he held himself.
“About time, one of you came to help me out. What took you so long!?” The Autobot asked, but the Cyberninja did not explain his absence. GoldenBee; now recovered, started to get back up. “Nice hit Cyberninja, really got me good.” He then looked at the Autobot. “Could really learn a thing or two from him.” he teased more. Making the Autobots' faces light up with energon.
“Quit stalling you Decepticon Scum!” The big chinned mech yelled out, thrusting his sword at GoldenBee, getting a “Hey!” as it almost hit him. Just like the Cyberninja, he too moved out of the way, before running down the hall, to give Megatron more time.
“GET BACK HERE!” The mech took the bait running after the minibot, who really was just seeing this as a game. Leaving the Cyberninja to go inside the holding bay to fight Megatron alone.
No one realized how it glowed, pulsating as it watched the mechs it had created fight one another.
No one realized how the space bridge changed its numbers, to come out somewhere completely different.
No one realized how the ship was being pulled in by the force of the Allspark. No one, but the other Decpticons watching it happening. Everyone watched as the ship was pulled inside, not able to do anything. Only to have to leave when the area was becoming too dangerous for the sparklings.
The jet twins beeped at their Sire, wondering where their Carrier was at, why were they leaving without him. Blitzwing tried his hardest not to break down in front of them as they flew off the ship, going back to New Kaon. Orion was the exact same way, he was trying to be brave trying to not break down.
Blackarachnia helped try and calm both of them down, trying to say that their sparks were not extinguished, That they had nothing to worry about. It just made them worry even more.
GoldenBee fought with Sentinel all the way to the command center, a grin still large on his face under the mask. He kicked and punched the mech, no need to use his stingers, this mech was easy to fight, no use making it more easy for himself. He was about to land another kick when everything was jerked to the side, sending a good chunk of the crew flying.
Looking out the window told them everything, they were about to crash onto a nearby planet, one no one knew about. Guess it was time for him to leave. But before he could even think about it, Sentinel grabbed him. “You aren't going anywhere Decepticon!”
“Great you got me, but you're also going down. So unless you wanna try and retcon that, we're all going to be killed!.” GoldenBee growled back. That actually made Sentinel pause, just enough for GoldenBee to kick him in the face, and try to get free.
“Uhg! Put him in a status pod. We’ll deal with him once we're safe!” Sentinel ordered, throwing him to Bulkhead, who did as he was told. GoldenBee fought to try and get out of the big mech’s hold. Only stopping when he thought he saw Megatron falling down from the window, his frame and plating were red hot with the incoming of the gravity pulling him down at a high speed.
This was long enough to allow Bulkhead to place him in their last stasis pod, and close the door, bringing his mind and body to stasis. The last words he muttered before going under was “Carrier?”
Outside the city limits a young man, in his early teens was working on a mechanical device. He was happy with how it turned out, but he wanted to do more. As if his prayers were answered something came crashing down onto his family’s property. Luckily his family were heavy sleepers, he made his way outside wondering what could have made such a big hole in his family’s land.
He was not expecting it to be a giant alien robot's head, that's for sure. He wanted to study it, could he bring it back to life to learn of its origins? Oh he just had so many things he wanted to do. He could truly make this a living, making robots for the greater good of humanity.
“Sir, we have lost the Autobot signal carrying the Allspark.” Longarm Prime said to Ultra Magnus looking out the window. “And can you try and trace it?” Ultra Magnus asked, not looking back. Longarm Prime looked up at Blurr who was carrying all of the data pads. The blue mech scrambled to find the necessary data pad, and gave it to the shorter mech.
“According to our calculations it’s going to take about 50 stellar cycles to pin the exact location the space bridge sent them too.”
“And are you working on this now?”
“N-No sir, we wanted your approval first.” Longarm said, pushing Blurr back so he would get the hit, if Ultra Magnus even decided to hit.
“Then I suggest you start it, before I do something I’ll regret.” His voice was lavished with poison, making both Mechs salute before rushing out. Leaving the Autobot leader to brood over the loss of his brilliant plan to eradicate the Decepticons once and for all.
And to get Optimus back into his arms.
