“Something is weird in the sky, Lucy. The spirits are telling me that,” Yukino, one of the members of the Sabertooth, said after they arrived at the Fairy Tail guild together with Sting, Rouge, Minerva, Frosh, and Lector.
“I know, Yukino. It’s really disturbing.” Lucy agreed as they looked at the different books scattered around their table, with Levy and Freed reading them.
After they got back to completing the 100-year quest, they began to notice strange changes in the weather. The air grew colder and colder with each passing day; the once sunny skies now shrouded in thick clouds. The mornings seemed to arrive earlier than usual, plunging the world into darkness before the day had barely even begun.
Various astronomers and astrologers scrambled to investigate the phenomenon, poring over their telescopes and charts in search of answers. But no matter how hard they tried, they could not find a logical explanation for the sudden drop in temperature and the shrinking daylight hours.
So, the magic council ordered the guilds to look at everything just to get an answer for the phenomenon that is currently happening. Yukino, who noticed that the sky had fewer stars and Libra was telling her to be careful, went to the fairy tail to ask Lucy, who is also a celestial wizard.
As the members of Sabertooth gathered inside the Fairy Tail guild to discuss the strange occurrence, they were startled by a blinding beam of light crashing towards them.
“Scatter!!! ”They heard someone shout, and everyone took shelter, protecting themselves. A deafening roar filled the air as a meteorite shot through the sky and crashed into the guild, creating a massive hole in the ceiling.
Laxus, who was on the second floor, heard that noise, smelled a very familiar smell, and went to look at what was happening in the hall. He saw a meteorite and groaned. “I know that you three are in there. Go out! ”His voice covered the guild, but nothing answered him. Electricity came out of his hand. “Go out or I'll force this open,” he threatened them. Everyone looked at him confusedly as he walked down the stairs.
“Please do!! We're stuck!! ”A voice answered, and lightning struck the meteorite so hard that it broke into half and they could see three girls arguing inside.
“I told you that we should walk! ”The girl with short brown hair and golden eyes shouted as she crawled out of the meteorite.
“We're from the Kingdom of Asteria; that's too far for us to walk!! ”The girl who had long silver hair and blue eyes shouted back and stepped outside.
“You're just being so lazy! ”
The guild members were left speechless as they watched the girls emerge from the meteorite and begin arguing with each other. Some guild members tried to approach them, but the girls were so focused on their argument that they didn't even notice their surroundings.
Laxus looked at the two bickering before reaching his hand out to the last girl who reached his hand and stood up properly. She stood prim and prowl while dusting her starry gown, and her tiara, adorned with stars, decorated her golden hair.
“Well, this isn't exactly how we were planning on arriving,” she started, looking at the two who were with her, still glaring at each other. “Settle down. At least we found the other celestial mages.” Her eyes lingered at the two celestial mages, Lucy and Yukino, who looked confused.
“You are Lucy Heartfilia and Yukino Agria, I assumed? ," she asked, and the two nodded. “Then you were in the right place. Are you aware of what's happening in the world right now? ”
“Are you talking about the natural phenomenon that is going on right now? ”Lucy asked, and she heard a scoff from the silver-haired girl who pulled a chair and let the princess sit on it.
“Honey, it has never been a natural phenomenon.”
“Calypso, don't be so rude,” the princess commented, turning to face them. “But yes, it's not a natural phenomenon. You, celestial mages, should have noticed that there are fewer stars in the sky; that’s because a group of moon dragons are eating every star that they could find.”
“Dragon?!! Eating the stars! ”
“What’s with the dragons? I had enough of them,” Lucy commented, remembering the 100-year quest.
“To be specific, they are just the children of a much higher-level dragon who wants the world to be in endless darkness so they can reign,” she added, looking at the girl with short hair. “Celeste, can you show me the war that happened years ago? ”The guild turned black, and in front of them projected a war in the form of mist. They could see different celestial mages fighting together with their celestial spirits against an army of dragons and golems.
“Our kingdom has been fighting against their forces in the celestial dimension for how many years now? Our side consisted of 88 celestial wizards and their companions, and our enemies were the celestial dragons and their golems. They believed in their innate strength and power as creatures of the heavens, and they saw the celestial wizards as interfering meddlers in the natural balance of things. They saw themselves as the rightful rulers of the celestial realm and were determined to maintain their dominance, even if it meant going to war against the wizards. So, a long war happened.” The princess started storytelling, and everyone listened, especially the celestial wizards who were not aware of that story.
“And the war finally ended when the Celestial Kings interfered and forced the Celestial dragon to be chained in a dimension for how many years, but the chain was weakening, and right now, the dragons are able to get out, and that explains what is happening right now.” The princess claps her hand, and everything turns back to normal.
“And now, we will be engaged in another war with only five celestial wizards.” She smiled like it was not bothering her at all. “So, we badly need the two of you to join us in this war before our world turns into a black hole.”
“How many dragons are we talking about? ”Erza asked the princess, and she pointed at the sky, where numbers appeared.
Celeste, who showed the numbers, answered her. “If we're talking about dragons, there are 5 main dragons who serve as generals, and under them are thousands of dragons each.” Everyone was stunned to see the number of dragons that they would be encountering.
“And we still didn't include those golems,” Celeste added.
“So, Miss Lucy Heartfilia and Yukino Agria, will you lend your hands in this war? ”
