Chapter Text
House Harkonnen takes its leadership. It is never given.
The Baron ensures this expectation is clear. His devoted subjects and servants dutifully adhere to his commands, including those closest to him such as Rabban and his beloved nephew, Feyd. No one is free from the Baron’s sadistic inclinations, which extend across everything, from the volcanic wastelands of Giedi Prime to the deserts of Arrakis.
While the Padishah Emperor may have granted Arrakis to the Harkonnens, for the Baron, possessing the planet is just another form of amusement (Feyd is well-acquainted with his other forms of passing the time from a very young age). Taking pleasure in controlling and playing with his pawns is something he always indulges in first and foremost. As an Omega, Feyd has always been the most cherished possession of his dear Uncle.
Beneath the surface of the political turmoil, the Baron is always scheming something more sinister than merely resolving conflicts between the Great Houses or settling trade disagreements with the Emperor. His corpulent and fat body, alongside his all-knowing demeanour serves as a perpetual reminder of his insatiable greed—a craving to always assert dominance through brutality, violence, and sex.
You give me the reason
You give me control
I gave you my purity
My purity you stole
The revelation that an Omega stands as the sole heir of House Harkonnen is stirring up commotion within the Landsraad, much to his uncle’s amusement. Typically, Omegas are expected to be nothing more than mere sex slaves within the court, but the Baron has ensured otherwise.
Feyd understands that his true source of power lies not in his physical strength, nor in the number of slaves he murders or planets he conquers, but rather in how he leverages his Omega status to exert authority for the Harkonnens.
Feyd wasn't born on Giedi Prime; however, the Baron brought him there as a child and treated him as his prize. Feyd soon became accustomed to practices involving punishment and sex with slaves or concubines. Even before he knew of his Omega status, the Baron acquainted him with matters of sex. Feyd used to sleep beside him naked, on the luxurious sheets of his massive bed, with Feyd feeling small, cold and fearful, his heart seeking revenge but his body looking for the heat of his uncle’s disturbing body.
Sharing the bed with his uncle became a custom. Feyd would often receive knives to entertain the Baron. He realized his proficiency with blades. Feyd developed an addiction to them, much like his uncle's addiction to him.
The Na-Baron could choose either to stab the slaves to death, killing them just for show, or retain the slaves for his own use. He acquired numerous concubines at a tender age through this method, which he treated and called pets. Feyd expected the Baron would get jealous, but his eyes just glistened with desire every time Feyd decided to keep one of the victims of their silly games.
Following the end of the spectacle, the Baron consistently sought private time with Feyd. Each time he approached his nephew, the Baron attempted to diminish his own power and imposing figure.
“Would you deny me, dear Nephew?” he would ask, while his heavy, cold rings and repulsive corpulent fingers caressed Feyd's throat.
“No, Uncle. Never.” Feyd would whisper in response, slightly trembling.
It’s not that he had another choice. Feyd knew the power his Uncle held, only playing innocent to please his own twisted fetishes. Someday, Feyd would kill him and derive immense satisfaction from the deed. Someday.
“Good, my lovely Omega.” the Baron would say, before kissing him tenderly, knowing how much his nephew wanted to murder him.
Feyd learned to crave the touch of his Uncle. Desire was something complex.
As he grew older, the Na-Baron noticed his body wasn’t like the others in court. While everyone in Giedi Prime was regularly subjected to drugs, Feyd’s medications were unique. They ensured his compliance and docility. They kept his desires in place. Of course, his dear Uncle had big plans for his Omega.
Feyd's rage and strength intensified. He began engaging in fights to garner the favour of the civilians in Giedi Prime. However, soon he would find himself in the arena for an entirely different purpose...
Did you think I wouldn't recognize this compromise?
Am I just too stupid to realize?
Stale incense, old sweat, and lies, lies, lies
