Chapter Text
It was still normal for the Solar System, some stayed in their orbits while some leaving their orbits to visit each others' orbits.
After playing a few rounds of the usual card game with the other rocky planets (except Mercury), Earth finally returned to his own orbit in the Goldilocks zone with Luna. Everything was normal.
Everything was normal.
It all started when Earth went to sleep after returning to his orbit. It was normal at first, as Earth tends to copy his Earthlings' behaviours. And after the whole incident of heading to the Sun and Moon Revolution, Earth's sleeping schedules got more often because, as he said, he somehow gets tired out more often and easily these days.
However, no one complains. Well, maybe sometimes Venus or Mars or even Mercury would inquire about it, but since Earth was always alright after those sleeps, and so were his Earthlings, they've all let it slide and just get used to it.
But this time, things weren't the same... It's been several days (according to Astrodude on Earthlings' calendar), and Earth was still 'sleeping' with no sign of waking up anytime soon.
Luna had tried checking on the Earthlings to see if there's anything strange going on, but everything was going just like any other days. Even he was getting worried even if he tried to persuade everyone else that everything is still okay.
Earth is just sleeping a bit longer than usual, that's all. He'll wake up in no time!
Yeah!
...
At least, that's what they all hoped for. Until one day, Luna - who had just observed the unconscious planet's surfaces just as he always does recently - caught onto some weird things going on.
Scientists. They've built something like a laboratory or such in the middle of a forest.
It would've been normal, since humans - especially scientists - often do weird stuffs like that. But why-
Not letting the moon continues his growing suspicions and thoughts, a laser-like light shot out from the building he was staring at, hitting him, then spreaded through the entire solar system. The light remains for a good few minutes, before it dies down slowly, returning the usual sight of the solar system.
...
Except for the fact that this time, the Earth isn't the only one unconscious now.
Wanna know how the solar system looks like now?
The planets are, strangely, in their orbits. The entire place became oddly quiet, only a few confused cries here and there from the small moons who were too young to know what to do, what was happening...

"So, the experiment is a success, once again."
"Of course, sir. With him here with us, the success rates had been raised by a lot."
"Continue recording the data. The others will bring them to us soon."
"Yes, sir."
