“Mama! Lookit, lookit!” Claudia called as she ran over.
Cloud glanced up and smiled as Claudia stopped before him, holding a small, shaking Chocobo chick in her hands, clearly freshly hatched.
“I did it! I hatched my first chick!” Claudia said brightly, her green blue eyes glittering with joy.
“That you did. A chip off the old block it seems.” Cloud said, patting the chick on the head before he patted Claudia on the head as well.
She squealed in delight before her eyes darted away and she gasped.
“Papa! Papa! Look! My first egg hatched!” Claudia yelled as she ran over to her father.
Sephiroth looked down at the young girl and smiled.
“How wonderful. Very good, Claudia.” Sephiroth said as Claudia beamed.
“Welcome back.” Cloud called as he stood up and dusted himself off.
“Happy to be back.” Sephiroth wrapped an arm around Cloud’s waist and kissed him.
Cloud kissed back, years of accepting Sephiroth’s affections had made him used to them. Sometimes, Cloud could almost convince himself that Sephiroth truly loved him, but most days, Cloud survived them in a mental fog he placed around himself to stay sane. Sephiroth had kept his word this long, at least. So far, the planet was still intact, Cloud’s friends were still alive and at last check, Sephiroth had no plans to destroy anything any time soon, planet or otherwise.
Claudia, after showing her parents what she had done, ran off to the barn. They watched her go.
“She is getting quite big.” Sephiroth said as he held Cloud close.
“She is.” Cloud agreed.
Sephiroth glanced at him and smiled.
“Almost old enough to start asking for a sibling.” Sephiroth whispered.
Cloud froze, his whole body going tense before Cloud forced himself to relax.
“If that is what you believe is best.” Cloud said slowly.
Sephiroth rested his head on top of Cloud’s, rubbing his arm gently.
“I think a sibling will teach Claudia responsibility.” Sephiroth said.
Cloud eyed their daughter as she chased after her chick.
“Perhaps we see how she does with the chick first.” Cloud stated.
“Perhaps.” Sephiroth replied.
Cloud shivered a bit. He had never asked Sephiroth more about the creation of their daughter. Deciding to live in blissful ignorance might not have been wise, but at this point, Cloud just did not want to know. Claudia eventually grew tired of running after her chick. Instead, she walked up to her father and held out her arms, wordlessly asking to be picked up. Sephiroth chuckled and did just that, settling their daughter on his hip, allowing her to rest her head on his shoulder.
“I believe someone needs a nap.” Sephiroth said gently.
“Nooo, I’m not tired.” Claudia whined.
Her whine turned to a yawn soon enough and Sephiroth just took her inside. Cloud stood outside for a moment, staring after his “husband” before he looked down at his hand. The ring sat on his finger, just as it had for the past several years, but it bothered him less and less each day. Shaking his head, he followed his family inside.
Cloud settled in the kitchen, idly rolling up his sleeves, fully intending to start on lunch. As he focused on his task, Sephiroth stepped into the room and wrapped his arms around Cloud’s waist, idly trailing kisses over Cloud’s neck and shoulders. Cloud hummed lightly, trying to keep his attention on his task.
“You’re distracting me. I’m trying to make lunch.” Cloud muttered as Sephiroth’s hands slid under his shirt and groped at his chest.
“Lunch can wait.” Sephiroth muttered into his skin.
“Claudia will be hungry when she wakes up.” Cloud replied, even as he placed the knife down.
“She will be asleep for some time. Plenty of time for us to have a bit of fun.” Sephiroth stated.
Cloud licked his lips, feeling the lust building inside him. Sephiroth was pressed against his back and Cloud figured he was right, Claudia would be out for at least an hour if not more. Turning around, he kissed Sephiroth, pressing against him completely.
Some days, having sex with Sephiroth made Cloud feel like he was on top of the world. Sephiroth took care of him, took care of his needs, always stopped when he pushed too far and left Cloud utterly satisfied in every way. Other days, Cloud felt like a used whore, selling his body to keep his friends alive.
“Mmm.” Cloud moaned as he pulled back.
Their foreheads pressed together, Sephiroth’s arm around his waist and Cloud’s around his neck.
“My beautiful wife.” Sephiroth muttered.
Cloud flushed a bit.
“You still don’t believe it. One day, I will convince you. For now, I will simply do this.” Sephiroth said.
He pulled back, swept Cloud up off his feet and carried him to their bedroom. Placing Cloud on the bed, Sephiroth loomed over him and smiled. Sephiroth placed a hand on Cloud’s hip, rubbing a small circle into it. Cloud swallowed, looking up at him.
Sephiroth helped Cloud out of his shirt and pants before he started to lay kisses all over Cloud’s neck, chest and stomach. Cloud reached up and rubbed Sephiroth’s arms and back. Sephiroth wrapped his hand around Cloud’s dick and Cloud groaned low in his throat. Sephiroth, the wicked man he was, knew exactly how to rub Cloud’s dick. Knew just when to tighten his fist, rub the head or what speed to pump at.
“F-Fuck.” Cloud whined, tilting his head back.
“Almost, Cloud.” Sephiroth chuckled before he bit around Cloud’s nipple, making Cloud whine.
Sephiroth pulled his hand away when Cloud was on the edge before he grabbed some lube and Cloud spread his legs. He shivered as Sephiroth dragged his fingers up the inside of Cloud’s thighs before one finger slipped inside. Cloud closed his eyes and relaxed, allowing Sephiroth to stretch him out.
“Are you sure you don’t wish for another child?” Sephiroth asked.
Cloud’s eyes fluttered open, finding Sephiroth’s face just inches from his own.
“A little boy this time… One we can call… Zack.” Sephiroth muttered.
They were practically breathing the same air and Cloud swallowed.
“No one can replace Zack.” Cloud replied and Sephiroth nodded.
“Perhaps, but we can show that Zack is not forgotten. We can tell him stories about the hero he was named after.” Sephiroth replied.
Cloud’s tears rolled down his face and he cupped Sephiroth’s cheeks.
“A little boy, but that is it. I am not about to have a bunch of children under the age of ten running around.” Cloud stated.
“Deal.” Sephiroth smirked.
Sephiroth pulled his fingers out and slipped inside. For a moment, they just lay there, connected in the most intimate way two people could before Sephiroth started to move. It started as a slow rocking that picked up pace. Cloud clung to him as Sephiroth closed his eyes, enjoying the moment. As all good things do, however, it came to an end. Cloud gasped as Sephiroth hit the right spot, causing Cloud to come. Cloud tightened around him and Sephiroth hissed as he came inside.
“Hmmm wonderful.” Sephiroth muttered, pressing a kiss to Cloud’s cheek.
Cloud just sighed, closing his eyes and relaxing. He would have to get up soon, finish lunch for his family, but for now, he would rest. Sephiroth pulled out and laid beside him, wrapping Cloud in his arms.
“My wife.” Sephiroth muttered.
“My husband.” Cloud replied.

“Zackary! Put that DOWN!” Cloud yelled, hands on his hips.
His five year old yelped as he dropped the snake to the ground and it quickly darted back into the grass, disappearing. Zack whined.
“Mom!” Zack said.
Cloud huffed as he walked over and picked the young boy up.
“What did I tell you about trying to grab random animals?” Cloud demanded as he placed the boy on his hip.
“I wasn’t going to hurt it! Honest! I just wanted to look!” Zack said as he snuggled against Cloud’s neck, trying to look adorable to get out of trouble.
“I told him it wasn’t a good idea.” Claudia said as she appeared.
Zack stuck his tongue out at her and she did it back.
“Enough, the two of you.” Cloud demanded.
“Sorry.” they replied.
“Children, are you bothering your mother?” Sephiroth asked as he stepped out of the barn.
“Noooo.” Zack said guilty.
Cloud sighed and shook his head, but just held his son closer and patted his daughter on the head. Sephiroth wrapped an arm around Cloud’s waist and kissed him while the children said “Ewww!” in union. Cloud pulled back and stared at Sephiroth before he spoke.
“I love you.” Cloud whispered.
For a moment, Sephiroth’s eyes flashed and then he smiled.
“I love you as well, my love.” Sephiroth replied.
