Chapter Text
Leon hated his friends. He's not even too sure if he could consider his little group that or just people he hangs out with so college isn't a complete drag. Half the time they're not that bad and Leon almost feels terrible about bullying them so much but moments like this make him instantly switch up. They're completely obsessed with relationships and more specifically Leon's. Not that he has one or anything. That's the whole issue. Ashley and Claire have been talking nonstop about hooking him up with any openly gay guy on campus for the last three days. Occasionally, they'd bring it up and Leon would shut it down quickly but not even his death stares and shouts would get the two young adults to shut up.
Leon's not stupid. He knows why they're doing this and it has to do with that bitch Ada. Ada was Leon's girlfriend of four years who dumped him for some bastard at her elite college not even half into a semester. A year later and now Ada is at Leon's shitty college. Leon didn't ask why and he really doesn't care to hear the answer but his friends think that the cheater being here is eating the blonde alive. It's not. He does not care.
Leon can't even enjoy his lunch without his friends breathing down his neck. It was only him, Claire, Luis, and Ashley at the table today and the entire lunch, Ashley, and Claire have been talking about ways to get Leon a date.
"You could always make a dating account," Ashley suggests and Leon found the idea ridiculous. If he ever came across someone he knew on there, he would never live it down.
"Absolutely fucking not," Leon growls, making the younger girl roll his eyes.
"Most people on Tinder aren't looking for relationships. They just wanna hook up." Claire comments, making Ashley shrug. Leon hated this conversation and the two in front of him were aware of that. If how hard he was gripping his water bottle was anything to go by. Ashley even glances at it before continuing to speak.
"Well, I mean maybe that's just what Leon needs. Like to get off." Leon hates that they were talking about him like he wasn't sitting right there. He always hated how they felt like they had any right to be so open about his sex life. Luis was the next to speak up and Leon wished he didn't.
"He might as well just call a phone sex operator if that's the case." It was a joke. Leon could tell it was a joke. And Tweedle Dee and Tweedle Dum knew it was a joke as well. After all, those things have got to be rare in this day and age. It didn't stop the shit-eating grin from spreading on the two idiot's faces. Luis’ face dropped when he realized he was being taken seriously and he shot an apologetic look at the blonde.
"That's a perfect idea! Especially to start with if Leon doesn't want to do the in-person stuff." Claire was the first to chime in about the horrible joke and of course, she'd be fucking ecstatic.
"A perfect idea? That's fucking stupid. It's no different than watching porn." Leon speaks up as a rebuttal but also kind of a way to let them realize he's literally sitting right there.
"It is different because there's a real person on the other end," Claire explains and that didn't make any difference to Leon. If anything, it made the idea worse. People who use phone sex lines seem desperate. Like porn isn't doing it for them but they're too socially awkward to meet up. That's not Leon.
"I'm not doing it," Leon states, crossing his arms in defiance. It reminded Ashley of a toddler about to throw a fit. Not like she would ever say that to the boy.
"Oh, yes you are," Claire says, crossing her arms in almost a way that mocks Leon.
"Just one phone call and if you don't like it, we'll never bug you about this again," Ashley states and it sounded like she was almost pleading with him. It's really not that deep. It's not like Leon getting off is a life or death situation.
"A lie," Leon mumbles, under his breath as he looks off to the side. He still reluctantly agrees to it, especially if it gets these freaks off his back.
"I knew you could do it," Luis speaks up, a grin on his face, and Leon hated how he found this all amusing. He's single too yet no one ever forces him into a relationship. It's just Leon that everyone wants to piss off.
