Chapter 1: Prologue (Preview)

Summary:

You've been suspecting your sudden illness may be the result of getting knocked up, so to find out you decide to return to present day Japan to get tested.

Something felt off for the past few weeks. You've been tired, exhausted to be honest. It feels as though your energy has been drained and all you want to do is lounge around camp.

 

You suspected that it must've been summer fever, the hot weather taking its toll on your body during the month. That might've also explained the occasional migraines as well.

 

But.. you've got a strange feeling that it might be something else entirely.. and you're worried about how that could affect traveling.

 

It would be best to play it safe, perhaps visiting the modern era for a quick check-up. Kagome did mention that she was going back in a few days to attend a festival and maybe that would give you the perfect cover.

 

Now all you have to do is convince Sesshomaru to drop you off in a few days time. Shouldn't be too hard. Hopefully.

Hey guys, I know it's been over a year since the last update. I'm sorry for not coming back and I completely understand if everyone dropped the story. (I kinda did for like 10 months).

 

I don't want to give yall any excuses but I want to be honest.

I haven't been in a good headspace for a long time. I've experienced the worst burnout of my life that stretched on for almost a year now. My mental health is at an all time low and I have been exasperated by my family for a variety of reasons.

 

I truly mean this when I say I have one chapter I want to post, but it feels so unpolished it makes me cringe looking at it. I'm editing the hell out of it until I like it, so most likely in two weeks I'll post it.

 

Again, if yall drop the story, I will understand.
