Today was the day, that Lauren surprised her brother with a visit.
It had been many years since they've seen each other. They may have not been close, but they still took care of each other as they could.
As Lauren thinks about how she'll surprise her brother, the spaceship she is driving makes a beeping sound "we're almost arriving at your designated location." sounded the voice.
She takes a look outside and can see the many different farm animals wandering around, along with many interesting buildings.
She is rarely in the overworld, only ever coming down to meet with her best friend, Scott.
He always looked different when they meet but Lauren didn't mind, he was still Scott either way.
Just as she was flying over, she sees a tiny familiar figure down near some crops and she hears another beep noise "we have arrived to your desired location." and with that the spaceship goes down slowly.
Finally the spaceship lands on ground and there was a little shake from the impact but it wasn't too big to cause much destruction.
The doors open and Lauren goes down the stairs.
The sun is bright and Lauren uses her hand as a way to shield her eyes. She isn't used to the gravity on the overworld, so she stumbles a bit.
She looks around and sees the crops from earlier and her face lits up.
She runs towards the crops looking for her brother. And there he is, tending to the crops.
She runs at Planet and shouts at him "PLANETTTT!!!!" Planet looks towards the voice and sees a figure he hasn't seen in years run towards him.
Lauren jumps at Planet and he falls back, damaging a few crops "ugh- Lauren!" his face lits up when he sees that it is Lauren.
She hugs him tightly and he hugs her back "oh how i miss you!" Lauren mutters in his shoulder.
They hug each other in silence for awhile until Planet realises something "wait..the crops!" he lets go of Lauren and gets up to see the crops that has been damaged.
"oops..sorry..." Lauren apologies with scratching her neck awkwardly. Planet sighs "its fine, come on let's go inside." Planet offers her a hand and she takes it.
Planet leads Lauren towards the house and lets her sit on a chair.
He goes into the kitchen and comes back with some bread and water bottles.
"here you go!" he hands her portion of the food and sits on the opposite chair.
Lauren starts taking a bite out of the bread. She never had much overworld food but they always tasted good especially the bread "so, why'd you come here?" Planet asked as he takes a bite of his bread.
Lauren hums thinking for an answer and decides on "just came to see ya." Planet hums back "i see.." he response back.
"how are you doing in the overworld?" Planet shrugs "pretty good, I've been living with my friends Bacon and Jaron." Lauren nods "i see, have they caused you trouble?" Lauren asks with a serious face.
Planet stiffens, he knows Lauren is really protective but he can take care of himself "nah, they're good people you know." Lauren relaxes at that "that's good." Planet nods in agreement.
They start talking about Lauren's life in space. As they were talking and joking the door opens up and Jaron and Bacon walks in.
"hey Planet why's there-" Jaron cuts off his words as he looks at the view in front of him "what's wrong?" Bacon says from behind peeking over to see what made Jaron quiet.
The both of them stare at Planet and Lauren then Jaron points "uhm, who's that?" he asks.
Planet looks over to Lauren then back to his friends "my sister." he says in a neutral face.
"oh okay." Jaron puts down his hands then a minute later his eyes widen "you have a sister?!" he raises a brow and points back at Lauren.
Planet nods "yeah, meet my sister Lauren!" he gestures his hands over to Lauren and she waves "hello." the two boys wave back "hello..?" Jaron responses back.
Bacon looks over to Planet "you didn't tell us you had a sister." Planet looks at him "i did, just now." he smiles innocently.
"well anyways-" all the attention goes back to Jaron "why's there this spaceship thing in our backyard?" he asks, gesturing outside.
"oh! that's me! sorry." Lauren replicates the smile Planet had on earlier "oh- i see.." Jaron smiles back awkwardly.
Suddenly as Jaron blinks, Bacon is in front of Lauren holding out a hand "hi Lauren. my name's Bacon!" Lauren takes his hand and shakes it "nice to meet you Bacon.".
Jaron does the same and holds out a hand "the names Jaron." Lauren shakes his hands and nod.
Jaron lets go of her hand and now the four of them are staring at each other.
Just as Planet was about to say something, Lauren stands up "well- it seems its time for me to go home." Planet stands up with her "already?" Planet gives her a disappointed look.
Lauren pats his head and ruffles his hair "yes, i am afraid so. It is past my time limit, i must go now." Planet shoves her hand off and fixes his hair "okay..".
The four of them walk out to the spaceship and Lauren turns back to look at Planet. She gives him a tight hug which he does back.
Lauren lets go "don't cause trouble okay?" Planet rolls his eyes "yeah yeah, I'm not a kid." Lauren looks over to Jaron and Bacon.
She looks at them dead serious and they both tense up "hurt my brother and you're DEAD." Jaron nods slowly while as Bacon nods as fast as he can.
She takes one final look at Planet and pat his head "see you." she turns around and walks on to the stairs, the door closes behind her.
The three look at the window and sees her, they wave at her and she gives a nod "SEE YOU SIS!!!" Planet shouts, his words lost in the sounds of the engine.
The spaceship lifts up and ascends to the sky, never to be seen again.
