“What do you want us to see?” V asked N who for some reason was so annoyingly insistent on showing she and J something that simply couldn’t wait. “I swear to God if it is-”
Maybe it had something to do with why he was smiling so much lately. That dumb smile that kept appearing on his visor had to be there for some reason.
Before V could further speculate the reason, a warm neon pink light filled her vision.
“-stupid?”
Looking up, she saw-
She saw-
She saw-
Pink, purple, black and white. The only intelligible colours detected by her vision.
The only colours capable to be registered by her digital, and mortal mind. They came in waves of unnatural order, poorly preparing her for what was to come.
Amongst the quadrillions to septillions of stars illuminating the sky, was a being beyond this plane of existence. An entity not of this world which had chosen to reveal its presence to the ephemeral inhabitants within it.
The proper words to describe it would never exist in this lifetime, nor the next.
Forever would it be condemned to the greatest injustice of being unable to describe its resplendent and incomparable beauty due to the limitations of mortals.
And yet, the mind still tries. It tries with all its might to even try comprehend what it was never meant to see. Even if it knew it would end in nothing but defeat.
For in the sky, sitting amongst the stars and moons was a behemoth of a woman. Her hair was a swirl of neon pink and purple in short, disordered, tufts. Adorned on her head were two prickly halos consisting of one pitch-black, and the other a pure, blinding white.
She gazed with eyes consisting of three separate galaxies, swirling in a multitude of colours unknown. Despite that, they were nothing short of striking as they sucked you inside, slowly, and unaware.
Her mouth was curled into a smile free to be interpreted as malicious or benign. With it, an infinite amount of teeth sharper than an any blade was exposed- more than capable of sinking themselves into the universe before tearing it apart bit by bit, or layer by layer so it wished.
The last was the colossal tongue consisting of an endless trail of stars, sparkling against the purple and pink of cosmic storms. With its immeasurable length, it swept across the sky stimulating shockwaves onto the planet.
That was all the mere mortal known as V was able to comprehend before her overexcited co-worker N spoke.
“That’s my new girlfriend!” N enthusiastically gestured towards the sky, that ecstatic smile never leaving his visor. “She’s pretty right?”
Despite having her mouth agape, V failed to reply.
For what she saw was something not meant to be witnessed by her fragile mind.
…
J’s reaction to N’s girlfriend was… very different than V’s.
“JCJENSON-” She cried with all her might the moment she saw it. “SAVE US FROM THIS DEMON!”
Holding her JCJENSON branded pen like a cross, J continued to scream and cry at the monstrosity before her, begging for the company to arrive.
J refused to acknowledge it as a she. There was simply no way such a thing could be identified as one.
It was also impossible that J had even one similarity to it, especially by being female of all things.
She held the pen and hoped for it to give her strength, for her own had dissipated into thin air the moment her gaze lay upon it.
They had to take her away. They had to come. They had to save her and her coworkers from… it!
V had already succumbed as she immediately toppled onto the ground not even a second after witnessing it.
Meanwhile, N was utterly oblivious to his co-workers poor reactions. He was far too love-struck by the sight of his ethereal lover.
“Isn’t she perfect?” He questioned as he held his hands together while J continued to scream in the background, beyond desperate to escape Copper-9 for the first time in her life.
…
N’s visor burned the brightest yellow when Uzi gently kissed the top of his head.
Oh how heavenly it was to be carried in the safety of her soft, ginormous hands. Far, far, away to a place farther than the universe itself, alone with no one but his beloved.
“I love you, Uzi.” He said at his millionth attempt at hugging his girlfriend who was truly out of this world.
“I love you too N.” She replied, her voice warm and sweet as she proceeded to shower him in cosmic kisses once more.
