It's been exactly 1 year and a couple of months since Raiga found his mother and father; and its been at least a month since his father decided to immediately go back to work despite his wife and sons protest for a vaction.. not that Reiga minded. It ment more vacation time for him and more time to spend with his lovers.
Raiga was pulled out his thoughts when he felt a pair of soft arms around his torso has he kissed Crow. Raiga let out a soft hum as the warmth grew around his back and the bed dipped due to the extra weight. The black haired boy moved away from Crow to turn his attention to his other partner. Behind him was Mayuri who was smiling softly at him.
Raiga smiled back then Mayuri then began to kiss her. The whole scene felt like dream to Raiga, it felt like if he woke up from this dream he would cry.
"What are smiling about?" Asked Mayuri pulling away
"Ah, I'm just happy. Can I not be?" Replied Raiga
"Your smiling like a dog" said Crow now leaning against Raiga
Raiga didn't take any offense to Crow's statement instead the grabbed onto his hand and held it.
"I just can't believe this is real.." Said Raiga
Crow was silent but Mayuri let out a hum.
"I can agree on that"
Despite Raiga's calmness about their now new relationship, it was still new to both Crow and Mayuri. Mayuri who had never been treated human till recently and Crow who never let anyone into his heart.
The three people were silent as the thought of fresh relationship settled between them all.
"Hey Raiga"
"Hm?"
"I love you"
Raiga smiled
"Raiga"
"Yes?"
"I love you"
Raiga sat there on the bed feeling his face warm up, he shouldn't be embarrassed and yet..
"Mayuri, Crow.. I love you both" said Raiga
Both Mayuri and Crow smiled at Raiga's statement. It was a small few words but it was sweet and true.
"Crow" said Mayuri
"Mayuri" said back Crow
"I love you" said both people unionized
At this Raiga laughed a little. Not at them but out of joy, for the first time in a long time he could do this. Raiga then proceed to wrap his arms around both Mayuri and Crow's waist.
"Oh?" Let out Crow
Raiga didn't say anything but it wasn't need as it was obvious in his face of what he was asking. Mayuri slowly ran a hand up Raiga's leg while Crow ran a hand through Raiga's hair, ruffling it.
"Do we have time for this?" Asked Crow
"Yeah, my parents shouldn't be home for awhile and Gonza is down stairs"
Crow didn't respond but instead got closer, slowly taking off Raiga's shirt "Off-"
"Yeah- Yeah I know"
Then with loud steps, suddenly the door to the room was slammed open- "Raiga! Your parents have returned with Rei-!" Said Gonza walking in on the scene.
Immediately both Mayuri and Crow were looking at Gonza with bewilderment while Raiga looked caught off guard. Unfortunately Gonza realized his mistake too late and stared for a moment before letting out a gasp "OH! I'm sorry master Raiga!-" Gonza Quickly looked away realizing he was intruding on something private.
Both Crow and Mayuri quickly got away from Raiga leaving him flustered and his brain stalling "My fathers home- with uncle Rei?" said Raiga
"And your mother-" corrected Gonza quickly
Raiga got up from the bed and gave Mayuir and Crow and quick look of pity and sorry before fixing his shirt "Tell them I'll be down in a bit"
"Of course" said Gonza and with that he closed the door and left. Mayuri let out a sigh while Crow grimaced. "He forgets to knock alot" said Crow. Raiga gave him a slight shrug
"I can't blame him, after all when every Saejima is almost dying forgetting to knock is bound to happen"
Crow sighed then started to mess with his hair "Better head downstairs, we'll come join you once we get ourselves together as well" said Crow
Raiga gave a slight nod before heading out the room. When he got to the stairs he paused once he heard a conversation happening between Gonza and his parents down stairs, Raiga wasn't sure if he should rush down the stairs or walk calmly. Eventually he settled on listening to the conversation downstairs before heading down.
"Gonza I know you missed me but I DONT need to you to wash my clothes-" said a voice which sounded something like Rei. "But I insist!" Replied Gonza.
Then there was soft laugh "Rei, Gonza is just trying to be nice. After all you've been gone so long" said a voice clearly belonging to his mother.
"Oi, Kouga what do you think?" Then there was a long pause then a iconic huff "Gonza when you wash Rei's clothes do you mind adding mine and Kaoru's in as well" a laugh rippled through the house. Clearly his father still had a way of making his mother happy.
There a sigh before someone spook again
"Gonza you said Raiga would be coming down right?" Asked Rei. Gonza gave a nod before looking toward the staircase "Master Raiga said he would be down in a bit. He was ah- busy at the moment you see"
And with that Raiga took it as a sign to get down stairs before Gonza said anything else. "Busy? Doing what?" Said Rei in a sarcastic tone, Gonza have a quick glance to his side before speaking again "Well, ah- you see-"
"Raiga!" Said Karou as she spotted Raiga coming down the stairs. Her son smiled at her warmly as he quickly paced over to her and hugged her. It felt nostalgic despite being a feeling he's known his whole life. Raiga and Kaoru stayed like that for a bit before a small sound was heard.
"Are you gonna spare any love for your own father?" Asked Kouga
There was a soft chuckle from Kaoru before Raiga felt the warmth of both his mother and father, it was warm yet forgein. Raiga never wanted this feeling to end-
"Ahem-"
"Oh!" Said Kaoru who now let go of Raiga as well as Kouga, who both were looking at the bottom of the stairs. Raiga turned around and was greeted by both Mayuri and Crow, who both seemed to in a awkwardly standing there.
"Hello" said Mayuri, waving to both Kouga and Kaoru. Crow gave a simple headnod before looking at Raiga who then raised his eyebrows and made a ah sound.
Raiga turned to back to parents and Rei.
"Mom, Dad, Rei. This is Mayuri, who've you met and that is Crow" gesturing toward to the two black haired young adults.
"Ah, it's so nice to finally meet you Crow" said Kaoru walking over to the boy "Thank you for protecting Raiga." added Kaoru.
Crow seemed taken back by Kaoru's kind personality and was shocked for moment, looking between Raiga and his mom. Thankfully Rei seemed to notice the boy's shock.
"Kaoru your scaring the boy, you know most Makai knights aren't built for your upfront kindness" sais Rei pulling her back from Crow to give him space. Kaoru pouted slighty "But Raiga is" she said which made Raiga smile slighty.
"He doesn't count" replied Rei
There a sound of a throat being cleared and everyone turned to the noise. "I'll get dinner set up, if you all please make your way to the dinning room" said Gonza. There a collect agreement and mumble before everyone made their way to the dining room.
The wait was awkward and silent for a bit before Kaoru decided to break the silence.
"So, Crow how did you get to know Raiga?" Asked Kaoru. Crow jumped ever so slightly In his seat before speaking "Well, we first met when I was assigned to work with him to help seal away the seed Eris. Afterword, we simply kept working together".
Kaoru nodded
"It sound alot like how Rei and Kouga started off working together" said Kaoru with caused both Kouga and Rei to look at her in confusion but before either could speak Gonza walked through the doorframe with platters full with food.
Dinner was wonderful, Raiga couldn't remember the last time he had with his family and it was peaceful. Normally dinner would consist of the constant threat of a horror being around the corner which while was no issue for Raiga, it was accompanied by the thought of his missing mother and father leaving him feeling.. empty. But he didn't feel that now, there was no lingering sense of dread or waking up wondering if his mother or father was still alive. Raiga smiled and seemed to relax letting any tension he had slip away, because he could relax now knowing everything would be alright.. at least for now.
