Work Text:
Espresso’s heels clacked loudly on the floor of the palace as he stormed towards his study. He felt hot; his cheeks and his ears felt hot. Hotter than usual, anyway, for a coffee citizen. He could not believe he just said that! To Madeleine! The filter between his mind and his mouth hadn’t been fast enough to stop whatever the hell that was!
It had started that morning.
The sun had woken him with its warm and sunny rays basically telling him to get the fuck up out of bed. He listened, despite his body’s protesting to stay cocooned in his warm, comfortable blanket. Espresso plucked his glasses from his bedside table and situated them over his face, yawning as he pulled himself out of bed and towards his wardrobe. Once he was dressed and prepared for the day, he sat down on his work stool and tried to turn towards his bookshelf when there was a knock at his chamber’s door.
“Yes?” he called, already apprehensive of a visitor this early in the morning.
“Sir Espresso, you must come down for breakfast before you start on any work for the day. That is an official royal order. Understood?”
Espresso rolled his eyes. He hated (didn’t) when the king looked after him in this way. He wasn’t that man’s son and he certainly wasn’t a child. Today, he planned on doing some experiments, helping Yam and Milk with training the knights, and speaking with Madeleine in the afternoon about his home kingdom, so maybe..
..some breakfast wouldn’t kill him.
“Understood.”
The heavy footsteps of the king disappeared from his door and faded off down the hall until Espresso could hear them no more. He kicked off his slippers and puttered around for his boots. Once he found them and tugged them on, he pulled open the door to his study and took off down the hall.
The dining hall was absolutely crowded for this early in the morning. The tables were lined with Light and Dark knights alike. Towards the head, he found Yam, Choco, Milk, and Madeleine. There was an open seat between Yam and Choco. So once he loaded up his plate with delicious looking food, he took that seat.
Both Yam and Choco were quite muscular, but were courteous to not bump into the royal sorcerer. “Have you slept well, Espresso?” Choco asked him quietly, and Espresso nodded through a bite of toast and butter. “I did as well,” Choco responded.
“Hey!” Yam’s voice came, loud and gravelly as always. “See you at the training grounds later, yeah?”
“Yes, Yam. It is in my schedule.”
“You’ll be at training this afternoon?” Madeleine chirped.
“Is that not what I just said?” Espresso retorted, tone irritated. But it fell on deaf ears, as Madeleine just smiled even larger and returned to his food.
Espresso did his best to eat quickly so that way he could return to his study for the day, but his stomach was just turning with nerves. Madeleine was staring at him. Focused. He just shuddered and kept eating. When he was done, Espresso gathered his cloak, returned his tray, and headed off down the hall again.
Madeleine’s gaze was.. intense. Heated.
Espresso didn’t want to think about it.
When he returned to his study, Espresso draped his cloak over a chair and pulled a band from a drawer. Holding it in his mouth for a moment, he used his hands to pull up his hair into a small tail, then used the band to tie it off securely. Hair out of his face and arms free, Espresso sat down at his desk and got to work.
Several trials with Enchantress blood and dead frogs later, Espresso was truly exhausted. He just could not figure it out! It was driving him mad. He returned his tools to where he found them, dumped the dead frogs into his caldron to use for further studies, and placed the jar of the Enchantress’ blood back onto his shelf. He would pick this up later.
For now, he needed to change his clothes and meet Yam on the battlegrounds. He removed his robes quickly and changed into a simple pair of slacks and a dress shirt. He forwent his tie this time. His magick or a weapon could catch on it, and he did not want that. He stepped back into a pair of boots, the shorter ones this time. And he was ready. He made sure that he had plenty of herbs and materials in his pockets to use for magick before he left his room again.
Thankfully, the battlegrounds were rather close to Espresso’s study. So he only needed to walk a short distance before stepping into the sunny day of snow. As always in the mountains. It wasn’t actively snowing, but it was still cold enough to feel like it. Thankfully, Espresso was used to the cold, and his body ran hot anyway.
“I am here, Yam,” he called, looking around for Yam, Milk, and Madeleine. He found them not far, Yam and Milk arm and arm in combat. They looked ridiculous, because Yam’s eyes were not on his enemy’s face, but lower. And he was thrown off balance easily, tumbling to the ground with Milk on top of him. When the Light knight helped him to his feet, he excused himself quickly and scurried away.
Probably to get himself off.
Milk and Madeleine then caught his eye, and he moved over. “Your magick user is here,” he announced, with plenty of casualty in his tone. Madeleine smiled.
“Then I suppose you’ll be my knights’ first opponent for the day. And if you can get through all of them, you get to fight me.”
A challenge, if Espresso had ever heard one. He thought about it. The chance to fight against Madeleine instead of at his side as he’d done during the war. The thought was.. intriguing, but certainly not enough for Espresso to tear through the entire Light order.
“Yeah, no thanks, Commander. You will give me fifteen of your knights. That is all I will do today.”
Feeling cocky, Espresso took a seat on his side of the training grounds, crossing his legs politely and dusting his hands in his pocket with the herbs. It would enhance his magick exponentially. He called his mana to his fingers and watched as Madeleine immediately put Milk onto the field.
Well, fuck. Now Espresso had to try.
Fortunately, Espresso was much more powerful with his hits, despite the fact that Milk was faster. He was able to get a clean win after pinning Milk down with a spell and coffee chains. When Madeleine called the winner, Espresso stood up and dusted his hands off. “You’re rather formidable, Milk. Do not let Yam dull you down with his stupidity.”
“Oh come on,” Milk tutted. “He couldn’t do that. He’s a powerful warrior as well.”
Madeleine pulled his next knight onto the field and the battle began once more.
The fourteen knights after Milk were taken down easily, thrown to the ground or shoved to the point that they could not continue. Espresso wasn’t especially proud of himself; he knew what his strengths were and what he could do. But Madeleine looked so damn impressed with him.
Even though they’d been doing this for a year.
So, he caught Madeleine’s eye, winked, and blew some smoke off his hands before clapping them together to dust off more herbs. “If you still want to battle me, Commander, I’m all warmed up,” he teased, his tone being much more flirty than he wanted it to be.
Madeleine bristled up like a cat, eyes shining with violence and the brilliance of Light magick.
His and Madeleine’s battle lasted for what felt like an eternity. The sun grew higher and higher in the sky until it was nearly setting before Madeleine finally pinned him down with his blade. “Holy.. shit..” he breathed, panting violently. His lungs were quick, and his mind was quicker. Holy shit, he’d just battled Madeleine for well over two hours in a row. And he was close. And Espresso was hyperventilating before he knew what was happening.
“Espresso. Espresso?” Madeleine tried to call, getting off. He worried that he might have been suffocating the sorcerer. But Espresso’s breathing didn’t slow down. His ears were ringing. Was he low on mana? No, he could still call it with ease. His hands burned a little, but he didn’t need to worry about that.
It was Madeleine giving him such a panic.
As always.
“I am alright..” Espresso huffed out when he got the chance. “Just very tired.”
Madeleine grinned at the fact that Espresso was seemingly not dying anymore and stood, offering him a rather large hand up. “Come on, sorcerer. Let’s go get some dinner. Shall we?”
Espresso contemplated his options for a moment before sighing. “We shall.”
It was beginning to snow as they all reentered the castle, the knights chatting among themselves as they went. It smelled fresh, clean, lovely. Espresso loved the smell of fresh fallen snow. But it was quickly cut off by the smell of rich coffee, no doubt coming from himself and the dining hall. They all filed in and had a seat, and only then did Espresso’s stomach growl louder than he’d ever heard it.
Madeleine, who’d sat at his side, patted his back and laughed. “You really were hungry, huh, dear friend?”
“I suppose I was,” Espresso replied, willing his voice not to waver with the anxiety and rush of having Madeleine sitting so close to him.
His dinner consisted of bread, potatoes, and rich, dark beef. He also was served coffee while the other knights were served either ale, wine, or water. It was rather relaxing this time, to have a meal surrounded by people he cared about, had just spent all afternoon with. This was nice, even though he was tired.
After the meal, Espresso bade goodbye to his company and headed back down the hall to his study. He needed to change clothes yet again and bathe from how disgusting he felt. That took, thankfully, a short time in his private quarters before he stepped back onto the wooden floors. Back on came his robes, cloak, and heeled boots. It was near the time that he arranged to speak with Madeleine about the Light Kingdom.
He figured the commander wouldn’t mind if he were early.
And so, Espresso clattered down the hall once more, a notebook and pen in hand to keep notes of the things Madeleine said. He found his room soon enough and knocked, but the door was cracked open. So, Espresso peaked into the room, and gasped quietly. Madeleine was lying there atop his sheets on his bed, shirtless, and with his obnoxiously long hair flayed around him. He looked like the sun, the very same rays that had woken Espresso that morning. Madeleine looked absolutely brilliantly, terribly handsome just.. laying there. Half naked. Granted, Espresso shouldn’t have been surprised. This was his room, after all, to do whatever he pleased within.
But Espresso couldn’t help but let out an adoring sigh at the sight. Madeleine got him so good.
At the sound of the sigh, Madeleine shot up, already summoning his sword at his hand. “What’s going on? Are we under attack?” he shouted, alert and aware quite suddenly. Espresso jumped back in shock, not having expected Madeleine to awake, much less worry about fighting a battle first thing. When he glanced around the room, though, Madeleine discovered that it was only him and Espresso in the bedroom, and relaxed. Espresso watched his shoulders fall. “Ah. Sir Espresso. Forgive me, I’d not meant to drift off. Please come in. Shut the door.”
Espresso did as told, stepping further into the room and kicking the door shut behind him. Madeleine didn’t bother putting a shirt on, but he did move over on the bed so that Espresso could join him once he’d toed off his boots. And join him, he did. Espresso clambered up onto the tall mattress and made himself comfortable so that he could write. “Are you ready?” At Madeleine’s nod, the two of them began.
“What is magick, to you?”
Madeleine hummed, changing the way that he was sitting to have one hiked up and the other out flat. He laid his face down on the leg that was up. “Magick to me is.. something that I call forth to make my attacks stronger. It’s something that attracts me to others of similar power. I do not have very much magick, you’ve seen my blood, you know. But I have just enough of it to power what I need to do. So, to me, magick is power.”
Espresso frantically took notes before he said, “And how do you call forth your magick?”
“It’s like a dam, I guess,” Madeleine perused. “It lets the water run through as necessary, but when I need to call it all at once, the dam crumbles, and it comes rushing. I believe you’ve seen it before, that night that the Enchantress came?”
“Yes, I recall. You glowed brighter than the sun.”
“Yes, just like that. The smaller runnings of water provide my body with a constant but small flow of mana, just enough to keep me powerful in my day to day.”
Espresso jotted down notes on that as well. “How else have you seen Light magick used for?”
Madeleine laughed. “What haven’t I seen our magick used for? Everything from baking to our hospitals. I grew up in our palace so the most common way I saw it was with my king. He is a healer. And our knights are all trained to pull forth their mana with every attack if they need it. A dear friend of mine is able to use his magick to turn his clothing into bazookas!”
Espresso curled his brow. “Impressive.” He thought for another moment. “Anyways, when you came here, you mentioned that the Enchantress had attacked your knights on several occasions, that you had fought one of her beasts and lived. What was that like?”
“Like hell,” Madeline replied with a shutter. “It was like looking death in the face and begging him not to take me away just yet. They shriek like they’re dying constantly, it’s so loud. And their claws secrete a poison that we’ve only just found the cure for, and it’s very painful. The stuff runs through your veins the moment it hits, and you’re dead in a moment. I was very lucky that it only grazed my skin. I was certainly infected, but it was only at dermal level. Those things she sends after us, her creatures, are absolute monsters. And if I did not want to see the joy of our citizens, then I would never want to see one again.”
Espresso’s throat felt tight. He felt the same way. He had a thought and fiddled with his notebook for a moment. After he got down those notes, he closed it and put it down beside himself. “If you had not become a paladin, what would you want to have done?”
Madeleine laughed softly. “I’ve never had much of a choice. I was in training to do this the moment I could walk. But..” Madeleine was quiet for a time, and it made Espresso nervous. “If I had to pick, I think I would have liked to be one of the King’s advisors. I’m very knowledgeable about battle, and I’ve spent enough time in the palace and the city to have a good idea of the needs and wants of our people.” He looked sad as he finished, but quickly replaced the look on his face with a comforting smile that tied Espresso’s heart into knots. “And what of you? What would you have been if you were not the royal sorcerer?”
Espresso laughed at the question, too, dropping his hands into his lap. “My sister and I were the children of farmers in the lower levels of the mountain. We would have grown up to merely replace our parents and continue the business. But she and I were accepted into a fantastic school, and we both fell in love with science and magick. She’s a teacher there now, and I dreamed of having my own home in the city to study until I died. Maybe make cures for diseases. Maybe find more efficient ways to live our everyday lives. But I was soon approached by the king. He told me he needed a sorcerer, and that he would provide me with whatever I needed as long as I stayed at his side. The war hadn’t begun yet at that time. I moved into the palace, because that was an incredible chance that I could not pass up. And I have been here ever since.”
Silence fell through the room, before Madeleine shimmied closer. “That’s awfully noble of you. To want to help so many people.”
“You did, too, forget not.”
“I know. We both do it already, don’t we?”
“I suppose we do,” Espresso mused, sitting back and sighing.
“I miss my Kingdom, Espresso,” Madeleine began, turning his head to stare out the window of his room. “Everyday, I yearn for the sound of the waves, the buzzing of the flies, the smell of fresh pastries each morning. It all makes me feel.. lonely, you know?”
Espresso did know, even though he’d only left his own kingdom once in his life.
He watched Madeleine yawn a moment later, and straightened up. “Apologies. I’m keeping you. You should get to sleep,” he said, not giving Madeleine a moment to argue before he was standing up to pull back on his boots. He grabbed his notebook and tucked it into the pocket of his robes.
“It is no trouble but.. you are right. It is quite late.”
Espresso headed for the door after bidding him goodnight but paused in the doorway before he turned his head to gaze at Madeleine. “You should put a shirt on before you make me hot and bothered. I may do something if you aren’t careful.”
And he shut the door after that.
Which lead to now, Espresso clattering down the hall in a frantic pace after saying such a thing to Madeleine. His only focus was to get to his study and shut the door and possibly just die. Because he just could not believe it.
He finally reached his room, tore the door open, and slammed it shut behind him. He sighed loudly, resisting the urge to pull on his hair and shout. He needed something to drink. He practically ripped his clothes off, threw them to his chair, and stormed to his wardrobe. Pajamas were removed from the drawer, and Espresso pulled them on. He was comfortable now, and he waved his hand with a bit of magick to start his coffee pot. He took a large, deep breath and tried to think rationally.
It was fine. He and Madeleine had certainly been flirting back and forth for the entire year after the war. He should have expected this. But outright in such a forward way? Espresso had truly gone off his rocker.
Once his coffee was done, he poured himself a mug, and trudged up the stairs to sit himself down in his bed by the window. He pushed the glass panes open and inhaled the fresh evening air. It was snowing, again. And Espresso just sighed again, leaning against the chilly glass as he sipped his hot coffee to calm down.
When his drink was gone, Espresso’s anxieties had flown out the window, and now he was tired. He set down the mug on the shelf above his bed, settling to clean it in the morning, before he reached to close his window. Espresso burrowed under his sheets, set out his candles with a flick of his fingers, and fell into a deep slumber for the night.
Well, it would have been for the night if Espresso wasn’t awoken three hours into his rest by a deep rapping at his chamber doors. He tried not to move, hoping that his odd guest would go away, but it happened again a moment later. With a frustrated grunt, Espresso threw his covers off, grabbed his glasses from his side table, and thumped down the stairs. “Yes, yes, I’m coming,” he huffed, getting to his door. He pulled it open and paused.
“Commander,” he greeted Madeleine, who was standing in his doorway. (Still shirtless at that.) “What in the name of Cacao are you doing up this late? Have you any idea what time it is?”
“I apologize, I just..” Madeleine began wringing his hands together at the front of his body. Espresso sighed.
“Come in.”
A few moments later, Espresso and Madeleine were sitting side by side on Espresso’s reading couch, a cup of coffee in each of their hands. “I could not stop thinking about what you said,” Madeleine finally breathed out after taking a rather large sip. “The idea of what that could imply has been keeping me up. And I know it made you nervous as well.”
“It did,” Espresso responded in chime. “I’ve no idea where the confidence to say it came from. But I entered your room and saw you lying there, and thought you the most beautiful man I’d ever seen.”
“So your interests lie with men,” Madeleine said, and it was more of a statement than a question. It made Espresso’s heart tense.
“They do,” he confirmed.
“Do your interests lie with me?”
“Very much.”
Madeleine finished off his coffee a moment later, as did Espresso, and then he returned to lying on his shoulder.
“Come to bed with me, Commander.”
“By bed, you mean-”
“Yes, Madeleine. I mean sex.”
“Show me up, then.”
Espresso stood up like an excited teenager and offered his hand to Madeleine just as the other man had done earlier in the day. Madeleine took it, and they went stomping up the stairs to Espresso’s bedchamber together. Once there, Madeleine picked Espresso up, dropped him down onto the bed, and leaned over him, and kissed him. And kissed him. And just kept going.
God, kissing Madeleine felt like stepping into direct sunlight. And he was heavy over Espresso, warm and safe. Espresso felt warm. He felt comfortable. Like he was in a soft bubble of safety. Like the Heavens that Madeleine prayed to.
Eventually, Madeleine grew tired of bending over and let go, watching with unfocused eyes as a small string of saliva connected his tongue to Espresso’s lips. His cheeks were flushed, and Espresso yearned for him to return. Thankfully Madeleine understood so, and stripped down to his under things, encouraging Espresso to the same with a soft nudge of his nose at Espresso’s jaw. Once the two of them were just down to their breeches, Madeleine got into the bed with him one knee at a time and lied down. He tugged Espresso up onto him, onto his lap, let Espresso roll his hips back to feel the growing bulge down there.
The thought of what was hiding behind that cloth made Espresso mad with sin.
Thoroughly through with Madeleine’s teasing, Espresso leaned down to connect their mouths again. He guided Madeleine’s hands to his waist, his hips, and pushed down on them. “Touch me, Commander. I am not fragile. I will not break,” his voice hissed, sharper than he meant. But it worried him not when Madeleine’s fingers dug into his backside like they were meant to be there.
They were still teasing, Espresso knew. But he couldn’t fucking move with how hard his heart was thumping against his chest. He was fucking nervous. Here he was about to lay with the man who’d nearly died at his side. He just..
There were tears budding at his eyes before he could think of trying to hold them back. Madeleine’s eyes did something then, too. They visibly softened, wrinkles smoothing out and concern lacing through his eyebrows. Madeleine grabbed his hands, held them close to him, to his chest, and pecked Espresso on the lips one more time.
“Allow me to make love to you, Espresso. All you’ll need to do is feel.”
Espresso couldn’t express what he was feeling. If he opened up his mouth, he’d cry. And if he tried to even make a sound, he’d break. Instead, he just nodded quietly, as if stunned into silence by the pure earnesty in Madeleine’s words.
Without another sound, Madeleine’s warm hands worked off both of their breeches until the men lied body to body, bare and exposed. As much as Espresso wanted to cover himself up, Madeleine was holding his wrists, so he could do nothing but squirm as Madeleine kissed down his belly and between his thighs. Eventually, though, Madeleine let go, and Espresso jetted his hands down to grip onto Madeleine’s hair for something, anything, stable to hold on to. He felt like he was floating. And turns out he was, because he felt his body lift off the bed a bit a moment later. He quickly willed himself to stop his magick and tried to relax into the sheets while Madeleine continued to pepper him in kisses and gentle bites to his flesh.
A hot sensation rippled through Espresso’s loins from his left thigh a moment later. His eyes fluttered shut at the gentle lick Madeleine just gave him. And then another, closer to his sac. Then one on his seam that makes his eyes water again. And then finally, he feels Madeleine’s warm, wet tongue lave over his tip and send fireworks through his soul.
His magick was reaching out for Madeleine, screeching angrily and clawing at the walls of his psyche to grab Madeleine by his dumb hair, force him onto the bed, and ride him until the sun came up. But he resisted that urge, because Madeleine’s filthy mouth wrapped around his cock and swallowing him slowly was causing his brain to fizzle out through his ears.
“Breathe,” he heard Madeleine distantly. And so Espresso did, practically heaving outward and feeling his magick finally calm down. It was getting easier to melt into the touch of Madeleine between his legs, wholly dedicated to making him feel good. And it was truly getting good. Madeleine’s tongue was working him perfectly, his fingers slowly fondling his sac and his other hand grabbing and pressing sweet bruises into Espresso’s thigh. The stimulation felt incredible, and there was something thick sitting in the back of Espresso’s throat. A few words that would set him on fire. And so, for now, Espresso floated. Let himself dive head first into the ecstasy that was starting to ramp up. His gut drew tight as Madeleine began to make more and more noise and move quicker over his dick.
He couldn’t come just yet. He didn’t want to finish like this.
He tapped Madeleine on the shoulder, legs twitching by the golden man’s ears. And they locked eyes, and Espresso felt love for the first time. True and unbridled and fucking overwhelming. Love for this man.
Espresso could hardly keep track of the time as his magick floated about the room. He could hear glass clinking, and jars rattling as his ears rang loudly. Madeleine felt so good around him, taking care of him. But it was quickly becoming too much, and Espresso shoved at him gently. “Off,” he huffed weakly. As soon as Madeleine let go of him, Espresso heaved out and slowly let himself relax into the sheets.
Madeleine gave him a grin brighter than the sun, and whispered something Espresso couldn’t hear. “Louder, Madeleine,” he commanded. And Madeleine shook above him.
“I adore you.”
Those three words made Espresso sweat.
Espresso shivered a bit but then paused. “Let me move up a little bit. I’d like you to..” His face burned. This was humiliating. Asking for what he wants from a man with such intense eyes. He didn’t respond, shimmying up on the bed and falling back onto his sheets. He was thankful that he slept in a large enough bed to accommodate Madeleine’s giant stature.
Madeleine’s hand found his chest, slow and gentle as he stroked over the dark flesh. “You’re absolutely stunning.” Espresso jumped violently, telling Madeleine all he needed to know. Moving his hands south, Madeleine pushed Espresso into the bed and let his mouth fall onto the smaller man’s left nipple.
Espresso jolted violently. “Hey!” How could Madeleine touch him in such a way! Wasn’t this some sort of.. deviant behavior? But his mouth was hot.. and erotic. And maybe it was making his head fuzzy and was making him feel like jello. Madeleine’s tongue kept rolling around the bud, and Espresso let out a pathetic mewl as Madeleine grabbed both of his asscheeks in his massive hands. Madeleine had him exactly where he seemed to want him. In his hands, in his clutches, in his space.
“Madeleine!” Espresso shouted, though he couldn’t tell if he was trying to get more or move away from Madeleine’s mouth. And then something brushed against his hole. And Espresso quickly used his magick to push Madeleine back. The man gawked at him, shocked. And Espresso sighed.
“You were.. Holy heavens..” Espresso breathed, slow and careful. Trying to regulate himself. “What are you, some sort of pervert?”
“Pervert? Essie, you’re breaking my heart! No one’s ever treated you like this?” Madeleine huffed. “Espresso.”
He crawled over him again, pinning him down to the sheets once more. “I am going to toy with your body until you’re desperate for my cock to be inside of you. Then, I’m going to finger you open with all of my strength until you’re nice and stretched open for me. And then, I’m going to lay you out, hold your hips to me, and fuck into you until you’re clawing at the sheets in desperation. I’m going to take you apart and put you back together by my own hands to see the heavens.”
Espresso couldn’t fucking wait.
And he wouldn’t, pulling Madeleine down to reattach his mouth to Espresso’s chest. The wet warmth made Espresso sigh with pure delight, and Madeleine’s hands reached down to grab him again, simply massaging the flesh between his fingers and biting at him. It was so good to have him like this, for his feelings to finally be out in the open and for the object of his affections to be between his thighs and holding him.
The pleasure was mounting slow enough to feel the arousal building up inside of him, slowly fattening up his cock and making his fingertips itch. But he wanted more. Espresso tapped Madeleine’s shoulder. “More. Give me more, Madeleine!” Madeleine listened not, because of course, and continued to slobber and suckle on Espresso’s breast. Espresso’s breath was coming hot. This was too much. Madeleine was making his mind fizzle out between his ears. He was starting to see stars in his eyes. And even the pleasure here on his chest was distracting him from Madeleine starting to prod and toy with his hole down below.
And then things were quiet for a split second before the ringing in his ears amped up ten-fold, and Espresso could distantly hear himself shout in ecstasy as his gut clenched over and over again in Madeleine’s grasp.
He’d come.
Espresso heaved out a large breath as Madeleine finally, blissfully, regretfully, pulled back, giving him space. He could hardly breathe. The room was hot and humid and now there was come drying on his belly and Madeleine’s large chest. Meanwhile, Madeleine was still staring at him like he held the stars and the moon.
“You’re insane,” was the articulate thing that Espresso decided on saying, and it made Madeleine bristle up in pride. This man was obnoxiously endearing, and he’d been right. Espresso was growing increasingly desperate. “Come on, then. Show me what your hands can do.”
Madeleine’s hands. The hands that had protected him from countless blows. The hands that wielded his massive weapon with no sweat. The hands that gently took care of his luxurious hair and skin. Madeleine’s hands had seen so much hardship and yet remained so loving and so gentle as they ran down Espresso’s body.
He conjured some of his mana to his fingertips, creating a lubricant that smelled of pure vanilla. It was a welcome change to the hot room surrounding them. Madeleine carefully placed one thick digit at Espresso’s hole and looked up into his eyes. The intensity in them made Espresso shudder. He was asking for permission.
“Go on.”
And Espresso would come to quickly regret those words as the finger pushed into him and felt like a barge trying to kill him. He inhaled quickly, trying to find a grasp on his nerve endings while his lithe fingers fisted into the sheets. But he didn’t dare to move, or to ask Madeleine to pull out. Because the longer he lied there and breathed and tried to get ahold of himself, the more it was starting to feel like white hot pleasure rather than discomfort ripping him apart. And it was getting good very, alarmingly fast.
“Move.”
Madeleine slowly, carefully pushed in deeper, down to one knuckle and then the next, and then wormed his finger just a smidge deeper to begin moving it forth and back inside of Espresso’s body. Espresso felt high with the sensation, pressing against such sensitive parts of him from a man oozing with desire and magick so thick he could feel it at the back of his throat. Madeleine pet at him inside with such precision and care that Espresso had to wonder where Madeleine learned such a thing, but he couldn’t think about that now when Madeleine removed the one finger and barely pushed in two, seemingly thinking Espresso was ready.
And he was, body melting, melting into the sheets and hole going pliant for Madeleine to press into. Espresso’s hands, still gripping at his bed, began to glow a deep purple, magick permeating through his soul and reaching for Madeleine like a lifeline. Madeleine’s fingers stretched his body to the absolute limit, or at least what Espresso felt it was. Because he pressed deeper, somehow harder, and spread his fingers back and forth to open him up on those luxurious digits and make his mind fall apart.
Madeleine really was quite good at this, even mouthing along Espresso’s thighs to soothe his tense muscles. The thick fingers pressing along the muscles inside of him felt heavenly, though they seemed to be actively avoiding his prostate. Espresso wondered why, curious, obviously, but said nothing as Madeleine removed his fingers again, and began to push in three.
That was harder. The stretch was tight and a bit painful, causing some unwanted shaking in Espresso’s legs and some hitching of his breath. He didn’t like that. He wanted to be showing Madeleine that he was enjoying this. Even with the pain thrilling him through his blood, it all felt incredible. Then Madeleine began to scissor his fingers, and finally, blessedly, brushed right up against his prostate.
Espresso saw white, and if he wasn’t still working on getting hard again from his last orgasm, that sensation would have taken him out for certain. “Oh gods. Oh the fucking gods, Madeleine,” Espresso babbled weakly, his first full words in what felt like ten years. “Fuck!” Madeleine was positively bullying his poor prostate, milking it for all of the sounds it was pulling out of him.
He was so impossibly deep; Espresso swore he could feel him in his throat even if he knew logically that Madeleine’s fingers hadn’t even reached further than his bladder. It was getting maddening, and Espresso’s cock had returned to full chub, lying thick and hot against his belly.
“Espresso-” Madeleine tried to begin, but Espresso cut him off in a split second.
“Madeleine if you don’t fuck me right now, I am going to kill you.”
Madeleine was quiet for just a moment before beginning to laugh jovially. “Of course, my dear. I’d be honored too.”
The two of them changed positions quickly. In order to save himself some ache (and to save his dignity) Espresso was up on his knees with his arms and head buried in the blankets and pillows. He could easily admit that having his asshole on display to Madeleine like this was positively mortifying. But he couldn’t have cared less when Madeleine’s giant hands grabbed Espresso's asscheeks like it was absolutely nothing.
He felt slick and hot with lube and the precum dripping from his cock. And with Madeleine looking at him like he knew he was, with an absolutely massive cock waiting to be in him, felt.. elating. Empowering. “Come on, Madeleine,” he goaded him. “Show me the power behind the Commander of the Light Order.”
“Espresso, you’re going to destroy me,” Madeleine whispered, and then he began to push that glorious cock into Espresso. And god, he felt like he was being torn apart. Flesh and muscle being ripped apart atom by atom. Madeleine’s cock was so thick and deep in his body. It almost hurt. Almost. No pain could push through the absolute elation that Espresso felt from the pressure of Madeleine in his insides. On top of all of that, there was a constant push on his prostate, pushing him to the brink of tears. Some sort of noise was tearing at his throat, and if he didn’t know any better, he would swear it wasn’t his voice.
And Madeleine was only a portion of the way inside.
“Espresso…” Madeleine breathed, falling against his back and breathing heavily into his ear. It made gooseflesh bloom across his skin, a shiver rippling through him. “Oh Espresso, you feel incredible. So tight and warm around me. Please, please let me love you.” It was the most Madeleine had said all night. And it was making Espresso dizzy.
“Yes,” he responded absently. “Yes, Madeleine, love me.” What the hell was he saying? No way in hell would he ever let himself say this trash, but then Madeleine rocked his hips further, closer to Espresso’s ass, and any complaint died on his tongue as a weak mewl. “Ooh..”
“Almost there,” Madeleine whispered, his hands moving to grab Espresso by the hips. He pulled him closer, deeper onto his cock. “Almost.”
And when Madeleine finally bottomed out, Espresso yelled like he never had before as another orgasm washed over him from the top of his head to the tips of his toes. Full. Hot. Tight. Warm. He could barely tell one feeling from another, couldn’t find where he ended and Madeleine began. He could feel their magick mixing together in his chest to create a sickeningly sweet, thick bond. It was overwhelming, and alarmingly delightful.
When Espresso’s hearing faded back in, he could hear Madeleine groaning above him, low and deep and rumbling in his chest so Espresso could feel it against his back. Seems like his orgasm had ruined Madeleine too. He hadn’t come just yet; no, Espresso would have been able to feel it. But he certainly feeling it.
“Come on, Madeleine. Move. More!”
Madeleine bucked his hips forward, grinding his cock in impossibly deeper. Espresso felt like he’d been punched. Thrust after thrust of those powerful hips, Espresso mewled and cried and whined into the pleasure. With one orgasm out of the way, the building arousal of getting hard again was sluggish and almost hurt but Espresso couldn’t have minded, because Madeleine was rocking his cock in deeper than Espresso had ever felt anything in his life. It was insanity.
Espresso shouted as Madeleine’s cock pushed right against prostate. “Shit!” he hissed, and Madeleine did it again. Over and over and over. And Espresso was shaking apart. “Holy shit! Madeleine! Wait, I’ve just come!” Madeleine wasn’t listening, obviously, because he moved quicker, harder, deeper into his lover. Espresso was seeing stars. He didn’t want to come again, not without Madeleine. So he tried and tried and tried to hold on. “Madeleine..” he hissed again, nearly holding his breath. “Wait.”
Finally, Madeleine paused, and both men just breathed for a long, long minute. Espresso tried to speak but no sound came out but a soft wheeze.
“You are lovely..” Madeleine breathed.
“You are.. so fucking much.”
“An honor,” said Madeleine back.
“I want you to come before me this time, Madeleine. I want to feel you release into me.”
There was thick, palpable silence for a few moments before Madeleine finally sighed. “Espresso. I am.. unable to ejaculate all that much.” Embarrassment washed over Madeleine’s soul, sending a pang through Espresso’s heart through their bond. But there was absolutely nothing in Espresso’s mind that would have changed how he was feeling.
“Madeleine,” Espresso started, reaching back to put his hand on Madeleine’s on his hips. “I do not give a single shit about your amount of sperm. I want you to come inside of me and fill me with whatever you have to give. I want you. Wholly.”
Another moment of silence later, Madeleine began to move again. Slow, dragging that thick cock along Espresso’s insides and wringing weak noises from his already torn throat. “Oh Madeleine..” he sighed, both in pleasure and in trying to soothe Madeleine to relax and focus on his own pleasure. “That’s right. Chase your pleasure using my body..”
Quicker and quicker, Madeleine picked up his pace, starting to bully his cock into Espresso’s prostate again. Espresso was starting to lose himself again, brain fuzzy and eyes unfocused as he tried to hold on. “Madeleine.. Madeleine..” he whined out over and over. It was good. It was getting so good. Especially as Madeleine got almost impossibly fast and his rhythm started faltering.
“Espresso. Espresso I’m.. quite close.”
“Come, Madeleine,” Espresso demanded, breathless.
Time seemed to stop. Madeleine’s hands tight on his waist. His cock throbbing and shooting through another orgasm into his sheets. Warmth flooding his belly from Madeleine’s come. The sheets hot against his flushed face. Every single sensation blended together into one enormous ball building then bursting in Espresso’s soul.
And when Espresso came back to his own plane of existence, he could feel Madeleine’s cock throbbing inside of him, and his hands gripping bruises into Espresso’s hip bones. Madeleine was speaking, was moaning. Espresso’s name, was what he was hearing. His own name dropping from Madeleine’s mouth while he took the man to the heavens with his own body.
And when it was all over, and Madeleine leaned to press a conscious kiss to Espresso’s shoulder, his magick thrummed to the surface of his skin and settled with the love Madeleine was pushing into him with come and kisses.
That was.. amazing.
Espresso shifted a bit carefully, lying onto his front and into the messy sheets, and allowing Madeleine to collapse onto him. He breathed, slow and tired. Madeleine made a soft noise, and nuzzled under Espresso’s chin.
“Round two?”
—
Leaving his chamber the next morning, Espresso limped with each step. Bites and hickeys littered his exposed neck because he couldn’t have been bothered to put on his full cloak. He felt exhausted; Madeleine had put him through the complete wringer, brought him through two more rounds and three more orgasms before his insane stamina finally died down enough to lie with him to sleep.
He’d woken with a twinge of pain in his lower back and his thighs sorer than he’d ever felt. He needed to remind himself to swat Madeleine later in the day. But for now, Espresso hobbled down the hall in his tight work casuals, headed for breakfast. He’d tried to wake Madeleine, but the man was a brick barge, unable to be moved or coerced no matter what Espresso had done.
He entered the dining hall, already finding the knights rowdy and loud. Choco, Milk, and Yam were all betting between each other for one thing or another, so Espresso quietly loaded a plate for himself and sat on Yam’s left side.
Yam turned his head as Espresso settled down, and gasped, then slapped Milk. “I fuckin’ knew it! You fuckin’ owe me now!”
“Hey!” Milk shouted back. “The deal was if they got together! We’ve no evidence of that yet, you barbarian!”
Espresso held a hand up. “May I ask what the hell is going on?”
Choco spoke up next. “These two were betting on whether or not you would get together with Sir Madeleine after your.. display yesterday on the training grounds.”
Their display? The two of them had fought for a very long time, yes, but a “display”?
Memories then flooded Espresso’s minds. Thigh rolling, hip thrusting, heavy breathing, hot moans, from the thrill of the fight. The actions had come from both of us, and it came to a head. Shit, he and Madeleine had practically been fucking on the damn field!
His cheeks flushed red, and he huffed. “Then yes, Yam won. Madeleine and I have established one another as lovers.” The other three then honed in to the marks littering Espresso’s throat and collar area. And he smirked. “You should see him if you think these are bad.”
And as if on call, Madeleine sauntered into a room with a hand up his shirt scratching at his abs and the other hand covering his mouth from a yawn. His throat, being paler than Espresso, was absolutely ruined with bites, hickeys, marks, and bruises of all colors. Espresso glanced at Yam and Milk and found their jaws practically in their plates with shock.
Satisfaction bubbled up in his chest and bloomed into a jovial laugh he couldn’t hold down. And then he locked eyes with Madeleine and found the fondest smile on his face over Espresso’s laugh and grin. He watched as Madeleine mouthed ‘I love you”, then turned back to his own food, now full of the satisfaction from shocking the great knights Milk and Yam.
Madeleine joined him at the table a moment later, right across from him, and one again said, “I love you, Espresso.”
“I love you, too, moron..”
The night before, Espresso couldn’t have dreamed of saying those words.. ever. Especially not to Madeleine of all people. The man was an idiot! And insane!
But Espresso seemed attracted to insanity, but only Madeleine’s.
