Overhauled

Summary:

Overhaul makes the worst mistake of his villain career.

Notes:

I'm sorry for taking so long to continue this series. I hope this is a fun read.

Chapter Text

"Please…don't let go.".

Izukus grip tightened from small hands squeezing his shoulder. Logically, surrendering Eri was the best option. Two hero students were no match against Overhaul. At least, not without backup. If All Might or Eraserhead were here, that’d be a different story. The chances of being able to stall until one of them arrived though was thin to none.

That didn't mean Izuku wouldn't try.

He had to.

He couldn't let this little one go back, no matter the risks. Instinct wouldn't allow it.

Saliva landed on the ground from the half dragon hissing with all of his might, as if that would be enough to ward off the villain.

"I'm so sorry, my friend is having an instinctual moment.", Mirio spoke while pressing a button on his phone as subtly as he could.

It was only from disgust that the motion was missed from the normally keen-eyed villain.

“Another abomination…”.

Izuku hissed a big hiss once again. If instincts hadn't stolen the wheel, he would have realized that his tactics weren't very effective.

Overhaul simply rolled up his sleeves, “Eri. Get away from that bastard.”.

The half-unicorn didn't budge. If anything, her grip tightened as little hooved legs kicked the air in retaliation. If not for the horn, she could have been mistaken for a faun.

“You wouldn't want them to get hurt, would you?”.

“Deku, please!”, Mirios smile had faded into a tight grimace, “I'm so sorry about this, sir.”.

Izuku simply huffed at his senpai before going right back to snarling. Teeth snapping even got involved. It didn't matter that he was putting himself or anyone else in danger. He had to do this. He'd suffer any fate to make sure this hatchling had a chance to make it to safety. Any dragon would do the same.

“Lemillion. Take Eri and run. I got this.”, Deku ordered.

“No, you don't!”.

Golden eyes rolled. Before the villain could step forward, spikes and hooks of inky blackness ruptured from the ground.

Blood spilled onto concrete as the dark mass swelled beyond what the alleyway could conceal.

Izuku didn't hesitate to run. He couldn't care less about who just pulled his hide out of the fire. He was far too busy making the biggest purrs he could purr to keep Eri calm. Someone shouted his name. Whoever it was, it couldn't be that important.

“That's a wonderful quirk you have there.”.

Blood slipped past Overhauls mask. He couldn't feel the hooks digging into his wrists. He couldn't feel the mass of thorns lacerating his flesh. All he could see was his own corpse, bloated and rotting, floating down a river…

Dress shoes clicked against concrete as a large hand combed through snow white locks. Darkness had no issue parting for its maker.

“I'll be sure to put it to good use.”.

Overhauls mask was easily ripped away.

All For One smiled brightly. More than a decade had passed since he wore this costume. Humans feared their own kind more than anything else. So, he put the right combination of quirks together to look like a man. It took years of practice to get the eyes right.

Screams went ignored by the symbol of fear. Ripping the quirk out of the man who threatened his baby brought satisfaction like none other.

“Now…what to do with the rest of you? I could leave you for dead, but that would be such a waste. My baby loves All Might merchandise. That brand isn't cheap, despite his costume choice being an American themed trash bag. So! How about we put your body to good use? I can harvest your liver, sell it, repair your body and then sell your liver again! Of course, I'll have to give you a lobotomy to make sure you don't cause any trouble. I don't tell just anyone about my hatchling. Though, I wonder…would this quirk undo the lobotomy while replacing the liver? Oh, so many experiments, so little time!”.

Overhaul shivered in terror as the symbol of fear rambled and purred.

By the time heros arrived, the only evidence left behind was a blood stain and a broken mask.

Meanwhile…

Izuku purred deeply while holding Eri in his arms. Everytime anyone reached for his little girl, he threatened to bite them. The only reason he didn't puff non-existent flames at them was from feeling safe in U.As cafeteria. Originally, the plan was to take her home. But, Mirio made a good point. What if Eri wanted something to eat that wasn't at home? U.A has a fully staffed and stocked chicken, making it the ideal place for eating.

“Problem child.”.

A surprised chirp answered the underground hero.

“Where did you get that child? Please tell me you didn't just kidnap someone's kid.”, Mic voiced.

“No, this is uh…this is a rescue.”, Mirio reassured.

“This is my hatchling, Eri.”, Izuku introduced.

The half unicorn snuggled into her hero even more, enjoying the safety of those endless purrs.

“Eri, as in…”, Mic let the sentence hang.

“...Do I want to know how you pulled this off?”, Aizawa asked instead of letting them provide further context.

Being an underground hero, he understood the benefits of plausible deniability for the greater good. He often looked the other way for vigilantes. Doing the same for his students wasn't off the table.

“We didn't do anything. Another villain showed up, giving us a chance to run.”, Mirio answered.

Nodding in understanding, Aizawa reached out for the little girl. He was given a harsh snarl in return.

“No. Do not imprint. Please, for the love of-”..

“It's too late, I'm a father now.”, the half dragon confirmed.

No complaints were made from the little girl.

“Midoriya. You're only a kitten. Kittens can't take care of kittens.”.

Mic wheezed from his friends werecat side slipping through. A dirty look being sent his way made him wheeze even more.

“I like these purrs…”, Eri voiced while cuddling her hero.

“She likes my purrs, Sensei.”, Izuku huffed.

“You're twelve at best, Midoriya.”, Aizawa reminded.

Mic at this point had broken down from laughter.

Big huffies protested that blatantly incorrect statement.

“Deary. We really should have Eri looked over.”, Recovery Girl pointed out upon entering the cafeteria.

“No! No taking my hatchling.”.

Growls started to be made in warning.

The nurse sighed while readying her cane. Bonking a student wasn't something she took lightly. The boy should have had many good years ahead of him. He shouldn't have to know this pain because of genetics. But, desperate times called for desperate measures.

Before a whack could be delivered, Recovery Girl was almost knocked over from the speed at which a white haired man ran into the room.

Mics laughing fit quickly ended.

“Baby!”.

Izuku blinked at the voice, “...Dad?”.

Hisashi Midoriya paused before dropping the disguise. In his rush to drop off Overhaul in the lab for harvesting and catching up with his baby, he had forgotten to take the disguise off until now. Luckily, a liquid manipulation quirk made it easy to remove the blood that once stained his suit. The good doctor shouldn't mind a little extra mess.

Izuku purred, “Papa, meet your grand daughter.”.

“Hello.”, Eri introduced.

Hisashi huffed, “No. Not granddaughter. That's my daughter and your little sister.”.

Izuku and Aizawa huffed at the same time.

“My hatchling.”, the greenette corrected.

“My hatching.”, the super villain lightly countered while rubbing his snoot against scaled cheeks.

Despite himself, the hero student giggled as loud purrs began.

Eri immediately reached out for those louder purrs. She didn't mean to be mean to her favorite hero. But she really wanted to cuddle those big purrs.

Izuku handed over Eri without further fuss.

“Not my hatching, little sister…I'm okay with that. I'll be the best big brother I can be!”.

All For One purred his biggest purrs yet, “I'll teach you everything I know from when I was a big brother, Izuku.”.

Yochi curled in on himself, multiple times, from cringe. He ended up in a pretzel shape with his belly up.

Unnoticed by most, All Might stood in the doorway with a terrified expression. He caught a glimpse of All For One turning around the corner. That meant the villain should be in this room. Yet, looking around revealed nothing. Not a single villain to be seen. Mr. Midoriya was purring while cuddling his son and another child. Aizawa was huffing and Mic was trying to console him…

Nana was right. Really, Toshinori didn't understand why he ever doubted his mother. That short lived hallucination was all the proof he needed. It was time for a vacation.

Yochi cringed even more.
