Alex smiled as he finished the last few things in preparation for dinner. Henry had called him once he got out of the shower to inform him that he was being kidnapped by Pez for the evening and apologising that he may be home late.
Alex had tried to get the details of Henry's plans out of him to find out if Pez had dropped any hints as to where or what Henry would be doing. The other man seemed to have kept his silence though and Alex commented that Henry should enjoy himself, answering that he had no idea of Pez's plans when asked before hanging up the call.
It was a tiny little white lie, really he didn't know Pez's plans, Pez was after all helping out with his plan. How Pez went about that was a complete mystery to Alex, so it wasn't as if he had lied really. Anyway a tiny white lie was acceptable in trying to surprise Henry with a proposal fit for a fairytale, after all he wanted nothing but the best for his Prince.
