Work Text:

All. Night.

Sana had been playing in Jihyo’s face all fucking night.

Every subtle attempt to check Sana had been met with indifference, sometimes belittlement. “Stop, Ji, You’re overacting,” she’d said at one point. Jihyo would try to explain that she’s not, that she wanted Sana to be more present for her, with her, only for Sana to blow her off and go back to doing… shit like she was doing now.

The muscles in Jihyo’s face worked tirelessly to make herself seem unaffected—no, unassuming—of the way Sana sauntered back up to a woman other than her. Because how could Jihyo not be affected by that?

This was Jihyo’s celebration party, the feature of her directorial debut winning every category it was nominated for. Instead of her girlfriend spending it by her side, she thought it a better idea to flirt with other people. Her latest pick? The film’s lead actress.

Jihyo had to tell herself that her problem wasn’t with Miyeon. The woman was unilaterally talented and gorgeous; Jihyo had her casted as the lead for a reason. She was also very single, and Jihyo and Sana weren’t exclusive. Least of all tonight, according to Sana. All because of a stupid argument that Sana started and made herself mad about.

She watched Sana glance her way whenever she’d whisper something in Miyeon’s ear, the latter giggling incessantly. Sana shamelessly moved a strand of hair from Miyeon’s face, slow enough where Miyeon’s eyes could follow the path of her finger down to her bare shoulder. Miyeon responded to it in such a way that said she’d jump into bed with Sana the first chance she got. That’s what Jihyo got from it anyway, even if she couldn’t hear what they were saying. Jihyo wasn’t even possessive like that; it was a matter of respect. Sana was only doing this to get under her skin.

It was working.

Jihyo was on her fourth glass of champagne in the last 10 minutes, sat on a love seat in full view of Sana’s show, sporting the overly expensive dress Sana had bought her and a defeatist pout to go with it. She wanted to be more festive, but she couldn’t help brushing off every person who had come up to her, likely to congratulate her.

“Jihyo.”

Aggrieved, she looked over, up past her shoulder.

Jihyo gave the nth offending person a small, curt smile. “Hey, Jeong.” She didn’t wait for a reply. She just turned back around.

Sana had since pulled Miyeon further into the crowd to dance. Obscured by other moving bodies, Jihyo caught glimpses of Sana with her back flush to Miyeon, pulling the girl’s hands around her waist, tilting her head to let Miyeon nose at her neck.

Jihyo’s nose flared. Her left leg crossed over her right and bounced heavily. She clenched the fist leaning on her knee.

“You okay?” Jeongyeon asked.

“I’m fine,” Jihyo bit out.

Jeongyeon, ignoring her, moved behind the couch, hands on either of Jihyo’s shoulders. Jihyo closed her eyes and breathed out hard, ready to say something to get Jeongyeon to back off until her fingers began digging into bunched muscles.

She’d been friends with Jeongyeon long enough to know she was tipsy—she only got this touchy when she was. Jeongyeon knew her long enough to be unaffected by her attitude, and was especially good with her hands. Which was exactly why Jihyo didn’t need this right now.

“You’re quite the life of the party after sweeping an entire award show,” Jeongyeon quipped.

Jihyo merely hummed, trying and failing to not let Jeongyeon relax her. She was admittedly growing less focused, more in tune with the way Jeongyeon worked through stiff muscles, massaging the hem of her neck.

When Jeongyeon paused, Jihyo opened her eyes, not realizing she’d closed them at some point. Jeongyeon slid her hands down her arms and leaned down to speak in her ear. Her breath tickled Jihyo’s skin and made her giggle quietly, warmly.

“You know I charge for these kind of services,” she whispered. Jihyo chuckled. “Now you have to let me get you a drink.”

Jihyo nodded, less upended. She let Jeongyeon choose for her, trusting her. A few moments later, she was sipping a heavy cocktail, a sweet one, just how she liked. She smiled into the glass.

“What are you thinking about?” Jeongyeon, sitting next to her.

“Have I told you how much I love ‘Hours and Hours?’”

Jeongyeon burst into laughter. “Too much. I’m starting to question your judgment.”

“Okay, Ms Producer of the Year.”

“For your film. You practically forced my hand.”

Jihyo shrugged. “Your pockets aren’t complaining.”

“Because you’re my top listener, right?”

Jihyo chuckled. “Guilty as charged.” She tipped her glass to her.

Jeongyeon clinked hers against it before drinking what was left in her glass. She set it down and regarded Jihyo a little more seriously. Jihyo avoided her eyes.

“Ji.”

“Look, I know what you’re going to say, so don’t.”

Jeongyeon hummed and placed an indignant hand on Jihyo’s leg. “Talk to me.”

Jihyo huffed. She could offer nothing less offensive than, “ask Sana.”

The second Jihyo looked up, she spotted Sana, encircled in Miyeon’s arms, tongue down her throat like it was nothing. Miyeon’s hands were on her ass, grabbing possessively like Jihyo didn’t exist. Jihyo set her glass down quickly, sure her grip would break it otherwise.

Jeongyeon followed her line of sight, then to Jihyo’s heavily bouncing knee, back up to her face.

“So you two are fighting again.”

Jihyo crossed her arms and said nothing.

Silent for a beat, Jeongyeon stood up. “Come dance with me.”

“I don’t want to, Jeong.”

“Oh come on, Ji.” She held her hand out. “Sitting here miserable is doing nothing for you.”

“I’m fine,” she muttered, looking down.

“Really? They’re playing your favorite song.” Jihyo lifted her head and actually listened. She frowned at her. “Okay, okay, second favorite.”

“More like third,” Jihyo corrected.

Jeongyeon rolled her eyes at her and grabbed her hand gently. “Come on.”

At that moment, Sana looked over Miyeon’s shoulder, locking eyes with Jihyo. They were scrutinizing, knowing, daring. Jihyo, not wanting to think about all the ways she could charge up to Sana and embarrass the both of them, let herself be lifted off the couch.

Begrudgingly, even if to get back at Sana, it became a nice, needed distraction. Her tipsiness helped accept the attention of Jeongyeon. Her hands were in the right places. She moved with her in a way that made her feel lighter. Hell, her breath tickling her skin and her lips tasting it had her considering taking Jeongyeon home instead. It had surfaced on the tip of her tongue for a while, but too soon, Jeongyeon held her still at the end of a song, letting her know she’d probably be leaving.

“You’d think I’d be used to staying out later,” she said leading Jihyo back out of the still bustling crowd.

Parties like these usually lasted all night, but Jeongyeon wasn’t one to hang around to see the end of them. Jihyo knew that, she just forgot. She glanced at her watch—2am. She was surprised to see Jeongyeon hadn’t said something sooner.

“I’m sorry,” Jeongyeon said, requesting her belongings at the coat check.

“Don’t be. I had fun.”

“Good.” Jeongyeon smiled, shrugging it on. “You know, it’s been a while since we got to do this.”

Jihyo huffed, chuckled. “Yeah, I know.” She ran a hand through her hair.

Jeongyeon placed a hand on her hip. “I wanna see you again. When our schedules line up.”

Jihyo bit her lip. “Yeah.”

Jeongyeon placed a kiss on her cheek. Jihyo felt the warmth of it.

“Ji, I’m ready to go.”

All that warmth drained at the familiar voice behind her. Jihyo watched Jeongyeon wave, a dry, sardonic smile on her face.

“Hey, Sana.”

“Hi,” Sana half-regarded her. “Jihyo.”

Jihyo kept her back to her.

“Just a moment, Jeongyeon and I were—”

“I’m not going to tell you again.”

Jihyo closed her eyes and breathed out slowly through her nose. She turned around.

“Where’s Miyeon?”

“Why?”

“You can leave with her.”

“She already left for the night.”

“That’s a shame,” Jihyo said flatly. “I can give you her number so you can catch up to her. I’m sure she wouldn’t mind.”

“Already got it. Now can you go get my stuff so we can go?”

Jihyo was fighting the urge to tell her to fuck off, but with Sana draining any semblance of a good time she had left, she didn’t care much to stay either. It didn’t help that they lived together. She could possibly call a hotel and score a last minute booking, but she was too tired to deal with that. She pursed her lips then turned to request their things from the coat check.

“I’m sorry,” Jeongyeon said again.

“It’s whatever. Really.” She looked at Jeongyeon. She seemed unphased, unfortunately used to this, but Jihyo was no less frustrated. “I’ll text you?”

“Call me,” she corrected. “You know I don’t answer texts.”

Jihyo let a smile free even if she knew it would piss Sana off. “Get home safe.”

“You too.” She waved over Jihyo’s shoulder. “Bye, Sana.”

Sana said nothing in return.

The second their belongings were placed in Jihyo’s hands, Sana was dragging Jihyo outside to their driver she’d apparently already texted to be ready.

Jihyo’s growing frustration bubbled hotly, ready to erupt throughout the silent ride home. To make it worse, Sana made sure to place as much space in between them as possible. Jihyo managed to hold herself back until the apartment door closed behind them.

“Sana.”

Sana ignored her. She removed her shoes, unzipped out of her dress and left it in the middle of the floor knowing that it was one of Jihyo’s biggest pet peeves.

Jihyo breathed in hard, stepped over it, and followed her into the kitchen.

“Sana.”

Sana still wouldn’t acknowledge her. She poured herself a glass of water from the fridge filter. She didn’t bother asking Jihyo if she wanted any. She drank it slowly, aggravatingly so.

Wound tightly with the need for an explanation, Jihyo grabbed her arm, making her almost drop the glass.

“Sana!”

“Let go, Ji.” She yanked her arm away, set the glass on the kitchen island and pushed past Jihyo, heading toward the winding staircase.

“Hey!” Jihyo, in tow, called after her. Through the bedroom and cornering her in their walk-in closet, Jihyo pulled at her again, urging her to face her. “We need to talk.”

“We don’t.” Sana swatted her away and turned her back to her to take off her bra, then her underwear.

Even in the midst of all her anger, Jihyo’s mouth went dry, which only served to frustrate her more.

“I’m sick of these games, Sana.”

“I said I don’t want to talk.”

“What is your fucking problem?”

Sana, fully naked, uncaring, turned around. It was the first time she looked Jihyo in the eye since they walked in the house.

“Fuck you,” was all she said before she attempted to push past her again.

The coil in Jihyo snapped. Not a second later, she pushed Sana into the nearest wall, indignant lips on her. She gripped at her hips, hard and possessive, and bit her lip roughly—“fuck you too.”

She felt Sana smile into it, knowing she’d won. Because of course this was what she wanted. She sighed and moaned despite how rough Jihyo was being with her.

Pulling at her hair to mouth at her neck.

Letting her dull nails dig into her skin.

Biting down to leave solid bruises, not letting up when Sana squirmed, trapped against the wall.

Whispering degrading filth in her ears, listening to Sana whimper and groan in response.

The more receptive Sana was to it all, the angrier Jihyo got. And Sana showed her better than she could tell her that she wanted Jihyo to take every single frustration she had out on her.

“Jihyo, please.”

The hours had pushed into early morning, birds chirping distantly outside. Sana’s words barely made it out of the silk that her face was pushed into. She was struggling to stay still; a wet, overstimulated mess. Jihyo chuckled relentlessly, drunk on her power trip, feeling Sana drip down her fingers and onto the sheets. Sana shook heavily while Jihyo pressed on the ever swollen pad inside her.

“I think you’ve got another one in you.”

Sana didn’t lift her head. Her red, sensitive ass was a testament to the last time she did. Jihyo let her fingers flutter a little longer, working her slower, drawing out the remnants of her most recent climax, feeling her twitch uncontrollably, daring her to say anything else. Sana could only whimper and forced herself to try to stay still. Jihyo smiled.

“Good girl.”

She licked and kissed up her spine, reveled in the barely held tremors of her body, then kissed the skin at her shoulder blade before whispering, “Lift.”

Sana weakly did as she was bid. Jihyo raised herself on her knees, held her strap in place, and slid in with no resistance. Sana was loud about it, but Jihyo didn’t care. She set a pace so hard and constant that Sana was arching forward and whimpering in sensitivity.

“Unh uh, don’t run from it.” Jihyo grabbed her hair possessively and harshly pulled her back.

“F-fuck, baby! Please!”

Jihyo still didn’t relent. She thought back to hours before, Sana picking that fight with her, then ignoring her, disrespecting her multiple times, effectively ruining her night. She ruminated on it; each thought made Jihyo pound into Sana harder. Her hips blurred and Sana sobbed uncontrollably, dripping everywhere and soaking the sheets that Jihyo would surely make her clean up later.

“Ji- Jihyo! Y-you’re— I’m— It’s s’much."

“How you acted earlier wasn’t too much?”

“I-I’m sorry baby–I should’ve— you were— fuck — that feels—”

“What?” Jihyo smacked her more than tender ass.

“Listened to y-you–shit— baby, I’m sorry!”

“I bet you are,” Jihyo chuckled, uncaring at this point. “Just look at you, you’ve been shivering so much—” she slowed herself, only briefly. The slightest hint of her fingers on her back made Sana squirm and clench. “You’re pathetic.” She smacked her ass again, hard. Sana yelped.

When Jihyo felt her pussy start to push her out, she maneuvered her flat to the bed, making sure she stayed inside. She covered her mouth with one hand and held herself up on her elbow with the other.

“Mmmf!” She began to pound into her again. Jihyo felt Sana’s tears stain her hands.

“I want you to remember this the next time you want to try me in public,” she leaned down and hissed in her ear. “You’re lucky I waited until we got home. Next time, I’ll have you like this in the next room and I dare you to make a single fucking sound.”

Only then did she remove her hand from Sana's mouth, only to snake it underneath Sana. Sana screamed hoarsely with Jihyo drawing sloppy circles around her clit. The way Sana writhed underneath her, Jihyo wished she could feel how hard Sana had to be bearing down on her strap. Sana was clawing at everything and nothing. Her body was lined with sweat, hair clinging to her face and neck. Red and purple marks decorated her skin. Her bruised ass shook every time Jihyo drove into her. Jihyo almost lost herself just watching, the beautiful debauchery of it all. Sana froze for a moment, then yelled in silence, pushing Jihyo out and wetting her hips copiously. Jihyo moved to sit on her knees next to her, watching Sana twitch violently. Jihyo pushed her hair back with both hands, trying to catch her breath, only realizing now that she needed to. Soon after, she removed the strap and lie on a drier side of the bed, rubbing Sana's back. It took Sana a few moments to recover, meticulously rolling over next to her, careful of the sore spots on her body.

She looked over Jihyo and at the clock on the nightstand. Jihyo’s eyes followed her. It was pushing seven in the morning. Jihyo was starting to feel it, eyes getting heavy.

Sana laid down on her chest, throwing her arm over Jihyo’s waist. Jihyo tensed despite being tired.

“Fuck, Ji, that was–”

“You’re not done.”

“Wait, what?” Jihyo quelled the worry in her voice, needily pulling the hand on her waist down between her legs, urging her to feel– “Oh.”

Jihyo sucked in a breath as Sana slid two fingers between pliant lips.

“Did I do this?” Sana whispered, breath hot on her chest.

Jihyo laid her hand on top of Sana’s, urging; she wanted relief and she wanted it quickly. Sana seemed to be done with her games, moving with purpose and Jihyo rolling her hips with her. Sana pushed one finger inside, then a second, pushing in and up and hitting the spot Jihyo needed. Jihyo was panting throughout it all, holding onto her wrist while Sana worked inside. Sana urged her along by kissing her chest, her neck, her cheek, then finally leaned up to taste her lips, sealing a whine in Jihyo’s throat at the feel of a soft thumb on her clit. It contrasted with Jihyo’s treatment of her, but she knew Sana had been okay with it, and that she was okay with this–waving her fingers and rolling her thumb and slipping her tongue in between Jihyo’s lips as Jihyo cried in her mouth, coming, body arching then falling, shaking and shaking until her body grew slack. Jihyo’s so sated and tired she could barely watch Sana slip out and suck her slick-coated fingers. Her eyes were closed, fast asleep by the time Sana was back on her chest.

She woke late in the day with them still wrapped up into each other like that, not wanting to move in case she were to disturb Sana.

The slow laze of Sunday, with the sun only caressing their feet and the sound of cars too far to disturb them, but close enough to provide a comforting, rumbling lull, made her forget most of what happened the night before. But with Sana snoring soundly atop her, peaceful, content, Jihyo was as so to fall back asleep with her.
