“Huh?”
Roji placed the last of the cups onto the table and kneeled down on the ground and stayed by Muhyo’s side. The duo looked at their friends while said friends were looking at them expectantly. Nana and Busujima were currently bouncing in their seats. Umekichi was looking nervously between everyone in the room. The trio had come to visit the boys for some chatting, and it lasted a good five minutes before both women brought up the topic of the wedding.
“Did you guys start planning for the wedding yet?”
Ah, okay, so maybe Roji didn’t mishear them. He subtly looked down at Muhyo, and the Executor was looking a little ticked off for his liking. He turned to them and sighed. Looks like he was going to be the one to diffuse the situation.
“Uhh…well honestly…not really.”
The silence enveloped the people in the office and Roji was slowly realizing (and slowly moving to hide behind Muhyo) that maybe he shouldn’t have said that particular detail. Then, all at once, there was screaming from both females and Roji screamed as he went to pick Muhyo up and used him as a shield. The room froze in shock and Muhyo looked like he was about to murder someone (probably Roji, as per usual). Roji blinked his eyes open and saw the two women staring at him in shock. He was relieved that they weren’t coming for him, but then he looked down at his arms and realized that he was carrying Muhyo. He felt his soul almost leave his body, and he quickly put him down. Umekichi looked like his poor little heart was going to jump out of his chest.
“I’m sorry Muhyoooo. It-it was a reflex?”
Roji looked at anything and anywhere, but at his Executor. Muhyo looked super scary by the way he was glaring at Roji. The trio watched with bated breath as Muhyo inhaled deeply, let it out and went back to reading Jabin. They blinked in shock.
Holy shit, Muhyo actually controlled his temper this time.
He actually didn’t hit Roji with a book.
Roji snapped out of his shocked stupor and quickly kneeled down to check Muhyo for a fever. That was apparently when Muhyo’s last sense of patience ran out because he used the Jabin to whack Roji across the head. The poor blonde yelped, covered his head, and hid behind the two women while apologizing. The four of them was stopped from further conversation when the phone rang. Roji blinked and quickly went to answer it. The trio watched as he greeted the person on the other side of the phone, jotted things down, and thanked them before hanging up.
“Muhyo, we have someone coming in like an hour.”
Muhyo sighed. “What’d they want?”
Roji shook his head. “Didn’t say. They’d give us more information when they came to the office, but said it was an emergency?”
“Hmph…”
Roji turned towards the two women and looked at them apologetically.
“Sorry guys, maybe we can continue this another time?”
The two women nodded and left, leaving the boys to prepare for their client.
///
Every time Nana left the boys to deal with the mysterious client, she got nervous. She knew that they’d been doing this job for years before they met her, but after Roji was hurt, it didn’t feel that good to leave them alone. She felt an arm around her shoulder, and she looked up at the older woman.
“You don’t need to worry. They’ll be just fine.”
Nana hummed and nodded. She knew that her boys were going to be fine…she just couldn’t shake this feeling in her stomach that something was going to happen. She felt that Roji was going to be in the middle of it again. Whatever the hell was happening, Roji was the catalyst to something big going on in the background. She hoped that Muhyo was prepared for whatever was going to happen in the near future.
Nana jolted out of her thoughts again when Busujima started slapping her on the back.
“Like I said!!! Everything’s going to be fine. The only thing the three of us need to worry about doing is getting a head start on their wedding planning. I swear it looked like Roji changed what he was going to tell us at the last second. I’m like 1000 percent sure he was going to say that they were gonna elope or something.”
Nana blinked. Roji and Muhyo eloping?
Oh hell no….
The thought made a wave of irritation go through her body. They were not allowed to elope, not on her damn watch. Those boys gave their all for everyone and they give everyone their 100% a lot of the time. Maybe, she could convince everyone to contribute in some way towards a surprise wedding for them. She suddenly had more enthusiasm in her step and skipped towards the Executor. They had a wedding to plan.
///
The couple were headed off to a warehouse. Their client had gotten worried when one of the newer machines had fallen over and nearly killed one of the workers. The company higher-ups had finally allowed the client to contact them to get rid of the ghost. The rumors around the factory was that it was the owner of the place who had come to resent the company in his later years, due to some unknown reason. The amount of resentment and the time between the original owner’s deaths led to the point where they were now facing danger.
Even a mile away from the factory they could feel the pressure in the air, the negative feelings. Usually when the presence of a spirit is known, an average person would only feel a sort of nudge. When an extremely powerful spirit, ones that hold strong negative feelings, were known the feeling almost became nauseating to the regular person. To the magic practitioners, it felt like something was pressing down on them. Roji was nearly on his knees the closer they got to the factory. Muhyo looked normal on the outside, but the feeling was weighing him down as well. The Executor had already summoned Yuri and the Envoy was following close behind them. The Envoy was looking every which way and looked alert.
They reluctantly entered the factory and the negativity was something that neither of them have ever felt before. It was like being crushed by the weight of the deep sea. They looked at each other and nodded, walking into the factory and searching for the spirit.
~
The two of them were searching around for the spirit when they heard an ominous rattling sound. Roji looked up and saw the crates tilting towards them. Roji quickly picked up his Executor and jumped out of the way, just in the nick of time. The two looked at each other nervously.
Shit...they needed to be careful.
They got up and tried to run from the spirit. The spirit was only laughing at them as they hit a dead end. It smirked and chuckled as it held its arm in front of it, ready to strike them down. Roji only watched in slow motion as the spirit was aiming for his Executor. The blonde felt the tears in his eyes as he tried to reach for his fiancé.
“MUHYO!!! LOOK OUT!!!”
Muhyo closed his eyes and waited for the impact of the creature’s arm, but nothing came. The only thing he felt was something warm hitting his face and the uncomfortable squelching sound that echoed through the warehouse. It was silent and he couldn’t even hear Roji.
Roji?!
The Executor opened his eyes and the sight that met him was one that he wished that he could forget. Before him, Roji was on his knees, arms stretched out and the creature’s arm protruding from his middle. He looked up and Roji had tears in his eyes and blood spilling from his mouth. His breathing was labored and there was some wheezing to it.
“I-im so glad that you’re alright, Toru.”
The creature screeched loudly, probably annoyed that it hit the wrong target. It wretched its arm from Roji’s body causing the more blood to spill and the blonde to groan, causing more blood to spill from his lips; unable to keep his eyes open from the pain he felt himself falling to the ground. He prayed that his Executor would leave him and get to safety. Muhyo stood there in stunned silence. He couldn’t move as Roji fell to the hard ground with a loud sound. He watched helplessly as the blood pooled around his fiancé. It wasn’t right, the blood was supposed to stay inside his body. It wasn’t supposed to be pooling on the ground.
He looked at the cackling spirit as it bounced and twirled around. It’s because of the spirit.
It…
Roji’s hurt.
He needs to hurry.
Roji…Roji’s going to die.
Move!!!
Something in him snapped and he must’ve blanked out because, in the next moment, Yuri was standing before him and looking between him and Roji.
“Grab him.”
~
The staff of the ML Hospital were having a somewhat peaceful day. After the incident with Kusano-kun a few months back, they seemed to have relatively peaceful days. Some staff were wondering if the boy and Executor Muhyo were actually a thing, the young Executor looked so protective of the boy that it was actually kind of adorable.
Their peaceful night was interrupted when the transport circle in the lobby started glowing and then all hell broke loose. There was a scream as the nurses took in the scene before them. Executor Muhyo and Yuri, one of the Mountain Sages. In Yuri’s arms was the bloodied, unconscious Kusano; the Executor and his Envoy were drenched in the boy’s blood. Executor Muhyo was looking down at the ground, but taking a closer look at him, his body was shaking.
“Help him.”
With those words, the staff started running around and a couple of the nurses placed the bloodied boy on the bed and they were off. These boys still had a lot of time with each other and their lives to look forward to, they were not going to let it end so soon. Muhyo sighed and watched his assistant be taken away. He shut the book and watched the Envoy leave. He stood there for a few seconds longer, then turned around intending to make a phone call.
///
Yoichi and Biko sat on either side of Muhyo and they were worried for their friend. Muhyo hadn’t said anything in hours and he was still covered in Roji’s blood. The duo looked up when they heard footsteps coming towards them. They saw Page and another male looking at them. The unknown male walked up to Muhyo and leaned down. Page gestured for the two of them to come to him and they did.
“Let’s let a member of the clan handle it for now, alright?”
They both nodded.
“Executor Page?”
The trio turned and saw the man with Muhyo at his side.
“I’ll be taking the young master back. The Master wishes for him to be at the ancestral home if he were to go through the inheritance.”
The trio nodded and looked towards the smaller Executor. Roji was not having the best year right now and this is a time where the two of them will need each other more than ever.
///
The nurses and doctors were constantly going in and out of Roji’s room and they were concerned for their friend. They wanted him to be okay, but they were also nervous about the damage they were going to see. Luckily, they were going to see him only after the fact. Muhyo, had to watch his fiancé be hurt in front of him. Twice. That would break just about anyone, even for someone as strong as Muhyo.
A nurse came up to them and told them that they were free to visit Roji, but they needed to keep their voices down. They nodded their heads and slowly made their way down the hall.
~
In another part of the town, situated in the mountains, stood an elegant and regal looking house. Muhyo glanced up with disdain at his family’s ancestral home. The weight and responsibilities of a Vassal family did not seem appealing to the smaller Executor before, but maybe...
‘Maybe Roji would be safer if he wasn’t near me.’
He shook his head to rid himself of his thoughts. He let out a quiet hiss at what was now going to occur. He would finally grow and maybe, it would be for the better. He sighed as one of the servants led him to his room (as if he didn’t know where it was). The servant bowed and went to do other things, but was stopped by his voice.
“No one is to enter this side of the house. I don’t want anyone, even Hina, to come until I’ve exited the room.”
“Yes, sir.”
Muhyo watched in restrained irritation as the servant left.
“Time to get this over with.”
~
Yoichi was sitting on the chair next to the bed and he was looking at his hands. He was beginning to wonder if some divine intervention was happening here. Twice, in so many months, did Roji end up in the hospital due to horrifying injuries.
Was this their luck? Or was some greater force out there coming for Muhyo and Roji?
The more he thought about it, the more of a headache he got. He sighed and crossed his arms on the bed, laying his head on them. He stared at the blonde and chuckled to himself.
“You know, Roji, if Muhyo were here he’d probably kick me so hard, I’d end up in the wall. That midget is so protective of you and only everyone but you, is privy to that information.”
Yoichi watched as Roji’s chest slowly moved, his breathing the only sound in the room. He clenched onto the sheets.
“We need you awake now. Muhyo left because of something with his body or something to do with his family. Did you know that he’s part of a vassal family and that he left because he hated it? I bet that he’s considering going back, to keep you safe.” He chuckled darkly. “He’d hate it though and I’m pretty sure that you’d hate it as well.”
The only response he got was the beeping of the machine.
“You gotta wake up, Roji. If not for us, then for Muhyo.”
~
Muhyo felt like he could kill someone if it meant that the annoying pain with his changing body would go away. He shook his head, trying to clear his thoughts.
He could do it. He could endure. His fiancé went through even worse pain than he did.
He could do it...
Didn’t mean he had to like it though. He let out another string of curses.
‘This better be worth it!!!’
~
Back at the hospital, Roji was slowly waking up and looking around the room. He looked over next to him and saw Yoichi slumped on the chair and sleeping. He chuckled, but let out a pained hiss as it jostled him a little too much.
With the noise, Yoichi jumped up in shock and looked around the room. He heard a pained groan and looked to see a pale Roji with his eyes shut and gripping onto the blanket. Yoichi blinked and then was fully awake.
“Roji!!! Hold on, I’ll go get a nurse.”
The blonde could only nod and soon the doctors were flooding his room.
~
Muhyo groaned as he opened his eyes and looked around the room. He felt a little disoriented (maybe a lot) and maybe a little nauseous. He rolled over to lay on his stomach and looked around the room. The sun was just peeking over the horizon and groaned.
Maybe Roji could wait a little longer, but he promised that he’d make his way back to the blonde as soon as he could.
///
After the blonde woke up, the room was soon flooded with numerous amounts of people. Doctors and nurses constantly going in and out of the room. It was exhausting.
Finally, the flow of people had slowed down and he was finally left alone with his thoughts and could finally process what had happened. Apparently, it was too much to ask to be alone, because there was a knock on the door. He sighed.
“Come in!”
The door flew open and Yoichi, Nana, Page, and Biko came into the room. The younger ones flew over to his bed and tossed themselves on top and crowded around him. Page chuckled softly and went over to sit on the unoccupied chair. He watched them for a bit, but called for them to calm down. Roji was looking at them in excited nervousness, but looked around the room.
“Wait, where’s Muhyo?”
They looked at each other and sighed.
“Well...”
“Ehh?”
~
Muhyo groaned loudly as his door was opened and his parents stood in the doorway. They looked down at him in shock and that only served to elevate his annoyance.
“What?”
They chuckled and his Mom stepped into the room and kneeled down to run her hand through his hair.
“Well, good morning to you too, Sonshine. You’ve been asleep the entire day.”
It took a second for him to process what his Mom said, but when he did, he quickly sat up and looked at the alarm clock next to him. He gaped at the digital numbers staring back at him.
8:45pm
His jaw dropped open in shock and he tried to stand up, but his body didn’t quite get the memo. His Dad snorted in amusement and he shot a glare at the older man.
“Friendly reminder, Son. You’re not exactly two feet tall anymore.”
Muhyo looked down at himself and groaned loudly.
“Whatever. I just need to get dressed and go.”
“Go where?”
“To the hospital.”
~
Roji sighed as the others had finally left for the night. It was hard trying to convince them that he’d be fine on his own, but they finally conceded.
(If he couldn’t stay in one piece in Muhyo’s sight, they couldn’t trust him on what he’d be like on his own.)
Just as he was about to fall asleep, the door flew open again and this time a familiar looking male stood in the doorway.
“Mu..hyo?”
The figure sighed and went over to the chair by the side of the bed. Sure enough, it was Muhyo. He reached over for Roji’s hand and the blonde smiled and willingly held his hand. It completely covered his hand now, and it took great effort to not act like a fangirl right now. Roji and Muhyo stared at each other and then suddenly tears were falling from Roji’s eyes. Muhyo sighed and stood up from the chair. He kicked off his shoes and laid on the bed. Roji scooted over and then buried his face into the Executor’s chest.
“Just let it out.”
The two spent the night in each other’s embrace as Roji cried and basked in the warmth of his fiancé.
///
Roji was thriving right now.
Everyone was gathered in the room and they were catching him up to everything that had happened while he was asleep and recovering. The others were staring at Muhyo and admiring his newfound height and his handsome looks. He loved being surrounded by a bunch of people. It made him forget his deplorable childhood. He didn’t have to endure that loneliness anymore.
He snapped out of his thoughts as a hand was waved in front of his face. He blinked and saw as everyone was looking at him in concern. He lifted up his hand and waved everyone off. He chuckled nervously.
“Sorry, sorry. I was a little lost in thought.”
Nana puffed her cheeks out.
“Well, stay here with us. We want to spend some time with you.”
Roji laughed and nodded. “Alright.”
Muhyo, who was seated next to the bed, stared at Roji. The blonde looked to be alright, so there was no reason for him to be that alert. The thing that bothered him, though, was Roji’s hand; more specifically, his left hand. Roji seemed to be talking animatedly about something so he was waving his hands around and Muhyo could only stare at the naked left hand. He made up his mind. He needed to see his Father and to get the ring.
After all, Roji deserves nothing but the best.
Muhyo stood up from his chair suddenly, causing everyone to look at him.
“I’ll be back.”
With that, he walked out of the room and everyone was left in silence until someone decided to break the silence.
“So, Roji-kun, you took Muhyo’s new look with great stride. How do you feel about it?”
Immediately, the blonde looked like he was surrounded by hearts and he started gushing.
“Well, he has been here since last night, but like, OH MY GOD!!!! He looks so much cuter!!! Did you see him?”
Roji squealed, but he also tried not to move too much. His wounds were still hurting him, but he could manage as long as he didn’t move too much.
“I think I’m even more in love. His height just gives off more charisma and something about it is really hot—”
He stopped as he looked at the women in the room. He silently cursed to himself as they slowly descended on him. They started interrogating him about what he meant with his words. He wished that Muhyo would come back soon.
~
*With Muhyo*
Muhyo moved with a purpose through his family’s ancestral home. The servants that were lingering about were staring at him in shock. It was rare that he’d actually make an appearance at the home, but twice in the same week? And willingly on his own? Maybe the world was ending?
“Where is my Father?”
The servants swallowed in nervousness and one quickly answered.
“In the receiving room, in the East Wing. He’s in a meeting with Lady Hinatsuru though.”
Muhyo clicked his tongue in annoyance and started making his way towards the room.
“I’m sure that the both of them wouldn’t mind the interruption.”
…at least he hoped they did.
~
*Receiving Room, East Wing*
A slightly older, but handsome looking male was shifting through some piles of papers and studying them. He sighed and shuffled them together into a neat pile and set them down on the table. He removed his glasses, placing them down on the table, pinching the bridge of his nose.
“Sometimes, I really wish that my son would’ve turned out like you, Milady. Maybe that way I wouldn’t be getting such a headache.”
The young looking female across from him only scoffed and leaned back in her seat.
“Are you kidding me? Toru is your mini me. He would’ve ended up like either you or Maki either way. Be grateful he didn’t end up like any other member of the clan.”
The male sighed and slammed his head against the table.
“I guess.”
The woman laughed.
“How is he anyway? I heard he finally went through with his inheritance after nearly twenty-two years?”
The male sighed louder and leaned back, staring at the ceiling.
“How am I supposed to know?”
The woman looked up from her tea in shock, her jaw dropping in disbelief.
“Are you not his Father? What the hell Aoi?”
The male, Aoi, had only rubbed at his forehead to stave off the oncoming headache.
“I may be his Father, Lady Hinatsuru, but my son tends to have a way of doing things. I heard that one of the servants went to pick him up from the hospital because of his assistant? I don’t know. Toru came into his inheritance that night. He was back at the hospital as soon as he could move.”
Hinatsuru whistled low and smirked.
“Who knows? Maybe the assistant could be your in-law soon enough.”
Aoi buried his face in his hands.
“That’d be a miracle moment or a god save us all moment.”
Hinatsuru giggled and drank some of her tea. She had always loved the brew that Aoi made. She soon spit it out when the door flew open to reveal the person that they were talking about. Her jaw dropped.
‘Wow. He grew!!!!’
“Father, Milady.”
“Toru.”
“Toru-chan.”
Muhyo frowned at the nickname (it was always the females he was closest too that always called him that.) The now taller Executor sat next to his Father and the older man had a sinking suspicion on what his son was doing at home.
“Dad, I need the family ring.”
Both people had already had the suspicions, but to actually hear it?
…
Aoi turned towards Hinatsuru with a look of pure disbelief. Hinatsuru laughed so hard, she fell over and hit the ground with her fist.
“Holy shit, this is amazing.”
She laughed for a bit longer, but sat up coughing and wiping the tears from her eyes.
“Huu~ that was amazing!”
She leaned over the table and whacked Aoi on the arm. The male jolted and glared at the woman.
“Aoi, go get the family ring for your son before he murders us all.”
Aoi quickly stood up from his seat and went over to his son and kissed him on the hair, which earned him a hard glare from his son.
“Right!! Ring. I’ll go get it.”
Hinatsuru laughed again as Muhyo grumbled under his breath.
“I hope they make you happy, Toru-chan.”
A look that she had never seen on his face was actually there as he stared out the window and smirked.
“He really does.”
“He? Well, do we get to know who he is?”
Muhyo shrugged and a sour look crossed his face. Hinatsuru had only raised an eyebrow at him in question.
“He’s my assistant.”
Hinatsuru gasped.
“Really? So, were the rumors true then?”
Muhyo whipped around to stare at the woman, a certain look on his face.
“What rumors?”
“About you having an illicit affair with your assistant.” She smirked. “Or how you swept him off his feet. Or how you played Prince Charming and saved him from a fate worse than death.” She shrugged. “Something along those lines.”
Muhyo groaned and rubbed at his temples in annoyance and groaned.
‘Damn bugs!! Don’t know how to mind their own fucking business!!!’
Hina’s jaw dropped at the groan.
“There ain’t no fuckin’ way, Toru-chan? Seriously?”
The younger male only nodded, not saying anything more.
“Aye, this godson of mine…”
Before Muhyo had the chance to retort the door opened again revealing the older male, a box in his hand and went to sit in front of his son. The box he held contained a beautiful silver ring with three sapphire jewels embedded in the ring. The ring looked brand new, but it was in the family for a very long time.
“Son, before I hand this ring over to you. Does this person mean that much to you?”
Muhyo didn’t say anything for a while. The two older people in the room watched him silently, wondering what he was going to say. Finally, Muhyo inhaled deeply and smirked.
“I got bigger, didn’t I?”
The two were stunned and looked at the boy, no man, before them before they both burst into laughter.
“That is your son right there, Aoi.”
Aoi could only nod and wipe the tears in his eyes.
“Yes, he is. Ok, go now you little brat. Make an honest man of yourself and propose properly son.”
Muhyo nodded, standing up and grabbing the box. He put it in his shirt pocket and went to leave the room. Before he left, though, he decided to impart some information.
“Just so you know, I’ve been engaged for a few years. This is just to make it more official.”
Muhyo smirked as he left his godmother and father in stunned silence.
///
When Muhyo reached the hospital, he was greeted with various amounts of feminine squealing and almost dreaded going back into the room. The urge to see Roji won it out though, so he inhaled a calming breath and opened the door.
“The hell are you guys doing to my assistant?”
He was greeted with a red-faced Roji and the females surrounding him. Yoichi and Page were huddled in a corner away from them and almost looked relieved to see him there. He was getting a bad feeling. He looked over to Roji and saw that he had a pleading look on his face. He sighed, slapping a hand to his face in annoyance.
“Alright, beat it. I want some alone time with Roji.”
For some fucking reason, that earned him a bunch of smirks from the women and he slowly reached into his pocket for his Law Book. Everyone quickly scrambled out of the room and Roji slumped in relief.
“Phew, thanks for getting rid of them, Toru.”
Roji had his eyes closed and a pinched look on his face. He walked over and sat on the bed, bringing a hand up and whacking the blonde on the head. Roji moaned in pain while trying to tell Muhyo off and he looked at his Executor. If his eyes weren’t playing tricks on him, he could almost see the tears in his eyes.
“You idiot, you almost got killed AGAIN.”
Roji whined and leaned his head on Muhyo’s shoulder.
“It’s not my fault that the creature was going after you. It was the only thing I could think of. I wouldn’t have been able to write a talisman on time and it would’ve been too late. So I used the next best thing. Myself.”
Muhyo didn’t say anything, but he did move from the bed to the chair and he brought Roji’s hand up to his lips and gave it a soft kiss.
“Roji, you can’t just…”
Muhyo stopped talking and Roji stared at him. What was he even supposed to say in this kind of situation?
“Remember what I told you before? You were supposed to stay in one piece and let me handle all of the difficult situations.”
Roji huffed in irritation and looked at his Executor.
“But it’s my job to make sure that—”
“Marry me, Roji.”
Roji looked at him in confusion, tilting his head to the side.
“I already said yes to you, remember? You’re only a couple of years older than me, you can’t be forgetting things now, Toru.”
Roji giggled to himself, but stopped when he saw the look on Muhyo’s face. He closed his eyes and sighed, waiting for Muhyo to say something. The Executor grabbed something from his shirt pocket and leaned forward so that both of their foreheads were touching.
“We’ve both wasted enough time with this. This just shows that there could be a lot of time together or very little time. You were nearly killed twice in a six month time span. I don’t want to waste any more time. Whatever kind of wedding you want, you can have it. We can even color coordinate and let Nana and Busujima go for it. I just don’t want to waste any more time. I want to call you mine permanently.”
He opened the box with the ring and Roji gasped, eyes filling with tears as he looked down at the ring.
“Kusano Jiro, will you marry me?”
Roji could only nod, too choked up with tears and the lump forming in this throat to actually say anything. Muhyo took the ring from the box and slipped it onto Roji’s finger. It fit perfectly as he stared down at the ring. Roji placed both of his hands on his face and brought him in for a kiss.
“You really did that?”
“I really did that.”
The two laughed and cried and they enjoyed the blissful moment together. It was now official.
They were going to get married.
+ Omake +
“YOU IDIOTS!!!!!”
Both boys were brought out of their blissful little moment by the door of the hospital flying open and Nana looking like she wanted to downright murder them. Roji hissed as he ended up moving a little too much. They looked at each other nervously and then towards the irate female. They waited for her to say something, but she just made her way over to the bed and flopped over onto Roji’s legs.
“If it helps, we’re actually really engaged now?”
Nana quickly sat up and inspected the ring.
“Holy shit, this thing looks amazing.”
Muhyo sat back in his chair and puffed up.
“Well naturally! It’s actually a family heirloom, passed down from Father to Son.”
Nana’s (and everyone else’s) jaw dropped in shock. Roji chuckled nervously and turned towards the brunette.
“Well, Nana-chan, do you think that you and the others might be able to pull something off by April?”
“April?! It’s freaking almost Christmas!!!!”
Roji nodded.
“You guys are getting married this coming spring?”
A nod from the both of them.
“It’s really happening?”
Another nod.
“Holy shit!!!!”
She surged forward and carefully brought the both of them into an almost crushing hug. Roji laughed as Muhyo grunted in annoyance.
“Congratulations you two!!! Now, the important question. Traditional or Western?”
The boys looked at each other and groaned loudly, causing the room to laugh at them.
