Summary:

A portal separates time from the chain, Monsters decide that he is best for a thing they have been trying

It was strange that time wasn't with them on the other side of the portal, but then again it could just be one of those rare cases where the portal only separate ld one of them. Twi was trying to sniff time out via wolfie, wild was in the trees, Sky was flying above them, while Legend, Wars, Four, hyrule and wind were on the ground. They had yet to encounter any monsters, and the forest was getting more and more desolate making it difficult for Wild to stay in the tree.

"I dont think forests are meant to be half dead" Wind says, Time may be here, he thought.

"They are not" Wild says uneasy, "It reminds me of the malice that was is the castle during my adventure"

Twilight shifted suddenly, "The smell of the forest changed, It went from full of live and animals to Death and destruction instantly. Also caught a faint trace of the Old man's scent as well as monsters"

"Uh guys" Sky said landing, he pointed "Don't think that bodes well"

As soon as the others looked, they gained a look of horror, in the middle of a monster camp and malice was time tied to a pole, tail being inspected by them. Time was slumped over head hanging, signaling that he is either unconscious or something was forced into his system and stopped him from fighting back. Wind took out his telescope and looked closer when he suddenly Gasped.

"We need to get there now!" Wind half shouted, Wars caught him before he could take off.

"Sailor, We need context" Twi states.

"They are going to do something with time and the malice, there are a ton of bodies that looked to have malice in their system but died before anything really happened. They must have realized they needed someone stronger the Civilians for something to happen." Wind said without looking away from Time's slumped figure.

"Wild, What do you know of malice?" Wars said, "tell everything you know"

"Well, malice can take over Machinery, And I don't know what it does to People other then take strength away, it takes light magic and the master sword the defeat it." Wild says quietly as they start to get closer.

"We have mine yours and Sky's if it comes down to a fight against Time, and we have the light arrows you and wind have" Legend says, just as someone walks up to time, taking hold of his head and moving it to make him look. Time looks like he was dragged through the malice for at least five minutes just to weaken him. He trys to snap and bite but it doesn't do much.

"So your the Dragon everyone has been talking about, a dragon type that has not been seen for Thousands of years! Perhaps hundreds of Thousands of years!" The person cackles, Time hisses and trys to move his tail, but the monsters next to it pin it down. "Well we should get you into position if we want this to work, hopefully ypu don't die like the others"

The captain and skyloftain knight share a look, then nod to the others as the move through the camp. Time is untied from the pole and is moved, he thrashes and trys to bite the monster carrying him. The person threatens to take his other eye if he lives and somehow comes back from the corruption if he doesn't behave, Time instantly stops. They get him onto the platform and laid on his back, he doesn't make it any easier for them, doing a dead weight the entire time. The rest of the chain got as close as possible without giving away that they are there. All though Wild and Twi were worried about something.

'What is it?' Wars signed to Wild and Twi 'Do you two know something?'

'Yes, Time can hear heartbeats, he know we are here' Wild signs with a frown, 'He will instantly be hunting us down if the malice does take control of him'

'Meaning we are fucked?' Legend signs now, Wild nods grimly.

"Hello monsters of the shadows! Today we will be testing if malice Is able to take control of the most powerful dragons! A time dragon is so rare, you are thought to be blessed to see one, and a favorite to the gods and goddesses of you know one personally!" The person shouts, not even flinching when times tail nick him before being pinned down. "And now for the paet we have been waiting for! MALICE OF THE CALAMITY, DO WHAT YOU DO BEST, TAKE CONTROL OF WHAT YOU WANT AND DONT GIVE BACK!!"

Once that whole thing is over, it is silent for a moment before something launches at time, and sinks into his skin. Time thrashes and growls in pain, the person just smiles with a hopeful look as Time's thrash and pained sounds get worse before they quiet down. As the others look monster pick time up, and he groans, the person frowns at that. When Time opens his eye, his pupil is red and normal deep sapphire blue is a light red. His ear flicks and he turns to where the others are. Wild and Twi freeze when Time looks at them. Legend spits out curses with wind, Four and hyrule back away some, and Wars and sky draw their weapons.

"Well guys... It's coming down to a fight" Sky says.

"And due to the malice he's not holding back." Legend says.

"Wild, Wind, light arrows. Wild give yours to Four, and pull out your sword, Sky, legend, You do what you need to, hyrule, Twi and I will distract him." Wars says, everyone nods but Hyrule freezes.

"G-guys" Everyone looks to hyrule, "Hes no longer on the pedestal"

The others freeze when they hear that, then a shadow looms over them. As they all slowly turn to the shadow, Time Smiles, It's feral. Then he swings his sword at sky, Sky blocks but is sent back a few steps, then the sword turns towards wind, who isn't able to dodge fast enough and is slashed on the arm. They scatter abit, when they all get to where the pedestal was but no longer is, they turn towards Time. Wind pulls out his bow and arrows along with four, Wild and Legend draw their Master swords, Legend's is the tempered sword he uses, while wilds sit in his slate till needed. Time stalks forward head tilted abit, and smile innocent. Legend huffs and gets into a battle stance. Sky sighs sadly, doing the same a second later. Sky starts to whisper a prayer, while hyrule starts to summon thunder, Time snaps his head to hyrule and dashes towards him. Twilight blocked times strike and they grinded their blades together, Time moves his tail with the spikes toward Twilight and struck him in the ribs making Twilight slip and nearly got a cut on his chest. That gave hyrule enough time to get thunder going and aim it at Time to stun him, when it hit Time fell to a knee and started to breathe heavily. Sky, legend and wild ran up to him and put the flat of the blades on his shoulders and head. Time lurches forward after a second, a whimper leaves him. Wind and Four touch a light arrow to his face. Time grunts and stands up stumbling away, still breathing heavily. When he looks to them he has both eyes open, the one that was closed is all red. Time growls before dashing towards Four, Four yelps as time goes to strike his bow, but sky slides in and blocks the blade. Sky opens his wings and flaps dragging time up with him.

"Come on Old Man!" Legend yells, "You can fight this!"

"You can fight the malice Old Man!" Four yells.

Time growls at sky and uses his tail to try and strike the Avian. Sky sighs and starts to dive, Time yelps at the change of movement. When they get close enough sky let's go of time as wind Shoots an arrow as time stumbles. The arrow hits times left shoulder causing him to stumble even more and shout in pain. He falls to all fours growling, Sky walks up with his blade pointed.to the ground. When Time doesn't react to him he puts the flat of the blade on times head. Time Groans falling to the ground, Sky rolls him to his right side and checks his eyes.

Sky sighs in relief "Hes back" At that everyone let's out a breath, "those who have been injured see Wars or Rulie, Wild come help me move him to a better spot." Everyone nods and gets busy. Wild and Sky start moving time who has fallen unconscious.

Sky was on watch when Time suddenly shoots up and scoots away from everyone. Sky slowly stands and goes over to Time, who whimpers back further into a tree. Sky sits on his knees in front of Time, who slowly calms down. Sky puts his hands on Time's shoulders, careful of the arrow wound on the left, and draws the dragon closer to him. Time starts to says sorry but sky shushes him and hugs him tighter. He starts whispering reassurances to the panicked dragon, wrapping his wings around them to hide Time. Twi stirs to a very panicked whimper that leaves Time. When he sits up, he sees sky hugging and hiding Time, who is still calming down.

"It's not your fault time, you were controlled" Sky repeats again and again. "It's okay, your okay, We are okay."

Time lets out a weak whimper and calms down fully. "S-s-sorry" He stammers out breathing heavily.

"I's okay, Ol'man, i's was 'against yer will" Twi says, as the other start to wake up. "Them tail spikes of yers make great weapons too."

Time strikes his ears back when the others fully wake up, "y-your really o-okay?"

"Yes, Sprite, we're okay" Wars says softly, walking up to take time, but sky just tighten the hold, "Sky, can I have my brother back?" Sky shakes his head, earning a quiet giggle from time, Wars tone takes on faked sadness "But my brother" time starts giggling more, settling into sky, and starting to purr. Time fell asleep leaning against Sky, still purring. 

"He blamed himself?" Wind asked.

"That is how it work with him, you know this Wind." Wars says, petting Time's Hair.

"The malice works on controlling people, or at least Dragons." Wild says sitting and petting time tail.

"Hang on, the person said 'testing if malice Is able to take control of the most powerful dragons' Time is a dragon type we don't know, and the person said time dragons are rare." Four says.

"Hmmm, Maybe sun will know, if not her than maybe Lanayru, Eldin or Faron will know" Sky says. Everyone that is awake nods, "then we will speak with them."
