Chapter Text
Nandor held Guillermo’s hand and dragged him along through the Night Market. “Come on Guillermo, I have a special treat for you tonight!”
Guillermo could barely keep up, but he wasn’t about to tell Nandor to slow down. He wanted to get through the crowds as soon as possible and escape the stares. When they got off the subway earlier, Nandor had grabbed Guillermo’s hand and pulled him towards wherever he had planned. Guillermo noticed the odd looks other vampires gave them. A vampire holding a human’s hand and not eating said hand? Yeah that was kind of ‘not done’ in the vampire community.
Nandor slowed down now, and Guillermo recognized the place. Oh no, not this again…
Nandor immediately confirmed Guillermo’s suspicions. “Remember a few years ago, when we fought in the familiar fights?”
“Yes, but I don’t really want to do that now, Nandor.” Guillermo didn’t want to fight familiars, and he didn’t want to fight Nandor in such a public place. Nowadays, their fights always led to something else that was very physical and he wasn’t sure vampires would accept a vampire fucking their so-called familiar.
“No, I have something else in mind for you. That’s why I asked you to dress up instead of wearing a shitty sweater. We’re going somewhere special.” Nandor wiggled his eyebrows as they went past the familiar fighting arena and deeper into the night market, where Guillermo had never been, but Nandor seemed to know the way.
They went so far into the depths of the market that the market stalls turned into permanent buildings. Guillermo wondered how old these shops were, they seemed to have been here forever. The clientele changed too. They still came across vampires, but they were older, looked less human and more ancient. Guillermo also saw a few zombies, shuffling along, long decayed and their skin dried up.
Guillermo became uneasy.
“Nandor, where are we going? Is it safe for me here?” Guillermo whispered, scared of making too much noise to alert the creatures, but knowing Nandor would be able to hear him.
Nandor looked back at Guillermo and smiled. “Yes, it is very safe for you where we’re going. We’re almost there!”
He sounded very giddy. But how could a place buried deep within the Night Market be ‘very safe’ for a human?
After just a few more minutes, they had reached their destination. Nandor opened his arms wide: “TADAAA!”
Guillermo looked at something that could best be described as a collapsed haunted house with a cave-like opening. Secured above the entrance was a neon sign. Most of the letters were broken, but Guillermo could make out the words ‘Master Baiting.’
He shot a confused look at Nandor. “What is this place? And what’s with the name?”
“Isn’t it obvious, Guillermo? It’s a strip club!” Nandor kept grinning like this was the best day of his undead life. “It’s a strip club for familiars. Get it? Master, Baiting? Baiting their Masters into Masturbating?”
Nandor fidgeted nervously with his hands when Guillermo became flushed and didn’t say anything. “You don’t like it?” His voice sounded small.
“Are we going to watch familiars strip?” Guillermo’s mouth became dry. He wasn’t sure what to think. “In the familiar fights, the humans who fought were treated terribly...” His voice trailed off.
Nandor realized what Guillermo was getting at.
“A vampire being… attracted… to their familiar is considered a kink in vampire society. It is taboo, but not uncommon. Vampires have created this club to have a safe place to practice their kink.” Nandor explained. “All the familiars and vampires here have consented. Some have a relationship with each other, others just a sexual bond.”
When Guillermo looked around he did indeed see more vampires with their familiars, and both parties looked happy and even excited to be there. He felt relief wash over him and looked at Nandor, who looked back at him and waited for Guillermo’s approval before going in. Guillermo smiled and nodded. He was curious to see what was going on inside. Nandor’s face broke open in a wide smile, and he grabbed Guillermo’s hand and guided him towards the entrance of the club.
There was a line, but every vampire with a familiar was let in immediately. The row of vampires without a human to accompany them were being judged by a massive, mean looking vampire bouncer. Inside they passed the wardrobe where they had to turn in all weapons and religious symbols.
The club itself looked more like a theater and must originally have excluded class and luxury, but it was clear its former glory had diminished. There was a smell of mildew in the air, and the lights were dimmed. It was warm and stuffy, which was nice because normally the spaces vampires occupied were cold and had a draught.
The walls were decorated with faded velvet fabric and gold trims. The seating had rows of tables and each table had two threadbare chairs. There were private boxes on each side where groups could be seated. All the seating faced a wooden thrust stage on which a familiar was dancing around a chair while the audience clapped and cheered. Most of the light came from the light bulbs surrounding the trim of the thrust stage and the lamps on the tables that were used to summon servers. There was 70’s strip club music in the background, but most of the music was drowned out by the noise the enthusiastic audience made, so all Guillermo could make out was a beat.
Nandor and Guillermo were led to their seats on the second row, slightly off the middle. It was already pretty packed in the club and Guillermo wondered if everyone who was waiting outside could get in.
Nandor leaned over to Guillermo. “And? What do you think?”
Guillermo looked around him to assess the crowd, and then towards the stage, where the familiar was now naked and being escorted off by, he assumed, her Master. Another familiar was waiting on the side to take her place and his Master was fussing over the familiar’s suit.
“I think it will be a fun night out, but how did you come up with this idea?” Guillermo asked.
Nandor leaned in even more, almost touching Guillermo’s face, and lowered his voice to a deep rumble. “Don’t you remember? You said you wanted to do something in public. You wanted to be watched.”
Guillermo felt the blood rush to his face. He had mentioned that fantasy last week, while they were fucking. Guillermo had let it slip that he wanted to be watched, wanted people to admire him and his body, wanted to try the bi-annual vampire orgy and let people watch him and Nandor fuck. It happened in the heat of the moment, and he was quite embarrassed about it afterwards. Nandor didn’t bring it up again so Guillermo was hopeful that Nandor wouldn’t have remembered.
He glanced at Nandor, who was looking at him as if he was trying to figure out his next move, almost like a hunter observing its prey.
Nandor spoke. “Well, would you like to get on stage?”
Guillermo was shocked. “Me? On stage? I don’t know if…”
Nandor kept the intense eye contact between them. “I know. I want to watch you. I want others to watch you, and I want them to know that you are mine.”
Guillermo took a shaky breath and bit his lip to think it over. It did excite him to have others watch him, and to have Nandor watch and not be able to do anything to stop the views or touch him. Maybe make Nandor jealous and play with him a bit. He knew he could dance, and stripping was just an extra dance move, right?
“Okay, I’ll do it.”
Nandor grinned back at Guillermo “Good. I knew you would. So you’re up next on the stage.”
